Hi There,
I am fed up with the Uber services. Its drivers have very poor behaviour and absolutely unskilled drivers. They dont have skill to read the route on map as well as they dont behave properly. I am facing issues only in Uber. I got after lot of mental harrasement that Uber is cheaper because its services and drivers are cheap.
I am mentioning all the historical incidents happened to me. But its not all, there are many more that i am not mentioning here. So some recent harrasements are as follows:-
1) While returning from Appu Ghar at Gurugram on 24Jun2017 i booked Uber cab at 17:15. Driver name was Avdesh using Wagon R. I told cab driver that you have to come at gate no. 1 of Appu Ghar. He said ok, will reach there in 10 min. I repeated 3 times are ok, will you be able to come. He said yes. I did wait for him. After 10 min when i called him he said i have reached. I looked around and didnt find him. I repeated i cannot see you at Appu ghar gate no. 1. He said i cannot come. You can cancel the ride.
Now what is my fault. The driver did mental harrasement to me for 15 minutes and instead of getting some compensation the Uber services deducted 63.60 Rs from my Paytm stating that cancellation fees because i cancelled after 15 min.
I raised complaint in that to get the reimbursement but these Uber company is a big cheater so how they can return the money. They put my money in Uber Credit.
This way Uber is cheating thousands of people. Even Uber is asking their driver to harrase customer like this and Uber will snatch money from consumer pocket.
2) On 11Jun2017 at 15:44 i booked a cab from Andrews Ganj Driverr name was Ram using Honda Amaze. It was my second cab because my first Ubder cab was already damaged in mid way. Due to this i had to book another cab. I booked this one. The driver reached at my place. Started the trip. Asked me where i want to go? Then i said Gurugram. While it was also coming on his mobile as destination. After this he said there would be extra toll charges that i have to pay. I said it automatically comes in bill too then why would i have to pay you cash also. I showed him old bills on my mobile as well where it is included in bill. But still he said just cancel the cab. I wont continue. I said ok. Then he cancelled. I did complain about it but still didnt get any compensation for any harrasement.
3) On 11Jun2017 at 15:04 i booked cab from Vasundhara enclave delhi. Driver was Pradeep using swift Dzire. Here driver was good but his vehicle was so bad, it got damaged in mid way. I have to drop at Andrews ganj. I was so much tired but still Uber services don't leave any chance to frustrate me. The second incident mentioned above happened after this mental torture.

I had faced lot of bad experience and each time proves that neither Uber have good services nor it have good drivers. The drivers are neither safe nor skilled enough to read map or understand locations. They always hire all dump drivers.
After getting so much frustration i realy dont want Uber Credit. I want my money back and compensation for all such harrasement. I am ready to go at any level of court to get proper compensation. I really want to teach them a lesson. There is no use of complaining again and again to Uber. They are not going to understand or take any appropriate action to resolve my issue.

Please guide me further and help me to drag them to a court.

Issue 2 and 3 are resolved. But issue 1 is still pending. Why my money is transferred is Uber Credit. While driver denied to come at my location. I don't want money in Uber Credit. I want it back in Paytm.

    I booked a uber cab from bandra kurla complex to swastik park which is only 7-8 kms. The ride estimate in the app showed 99rupees however i was charged a fare of rs426. On calling the driver support i was told there is a 2x surcharge but even if there is a 2x surcharge calculation can't come to this. You guys are cheaters. Pls refund my money legitimately

      Hi team,
      Yesterday i booked a cab from bhumkar chowk to hinjewadi phase 2 at around 10am. It was a uberpool and charges showing were rs. 69/-. I booked the cab and ended my trip, i paid rs. 69/-. But on driver's screen it was showing rs. 257/-. On my screen it was showing rs. 69/- so i asked him to call call center as he was not ready to let me go. He called call center, those guys told him to force me to pay remaining money and then i should mail uber to get money back. I was not ready to pay, as on my screen it was still showing rs.69/-. So, those call center guys from back-end updated my trip fare and made me pay money forcefully.
      This is the most shameless service uber provided till date. While booking you show one amount (Lesser) and after trip you updated that amount 5 times and even asking drive to force customer to pay. I want my refund.
      So i filed complaint at help. Uber 4 times and also tried the call center number, none is working. Its terrible

        Today i booked your cab at 8.14 am for my visit to alwarpet, ethiraj kalyana mandapam, ch-18. Your driver sri dhayanidhi was driving his maruti suzuki swift dzire cab. At the time of my booking your chart showed rs.100/- only whereas your driver has charged rs.273/-. He informed me that his apps mobile shows only rs.273/-. I have no other go except to meet the bill and paid accordingly. Your meter shows excessive amount eventhough i am entitled to use your cab concessional rate upto 2nd july 2017 as per your sms recd. Hence i would request you to refund the excess amount of rs.173/- collected from me immediately. Pl communicate your response per return mail.

          Sir i m very much dissatisfied with my uber account. My account receive offers every week which i cant access. I always receive message on my mobile number (Which is registered on uber) that i received offers and have to enter the promo code. But when i open my uber account and enter the required code it always shows that the offer is not for my account. This os really disgusting and annoying. Please look into this matter.

            Respected sir/madam,

            With due respect, i am stating the incident and harrasment i faced step by step faced while i took the uber pool service on friday (23.6.2017) evening. And after two times of complaints, uber didn't bother to reply on the issue.

            1. On the day, when i booked the uber pool, i called him up and asked if there is any passengers to get an idea about the route and expected time. He replied all trips are cancelled. Out of nowhere, what's the point of confusing me?

            2. Later when he came, (Pickup point was kalamandir, shakespeare sarani), after getting into car, he started uttering nonsense that all my trips are getting because of you. Why should he say this without any reason?

            3. There was no other booking/passengers on that car at that moment, so i asked him to take right turn from rowdon street crossing to take the ajc bose route. He clearly denied he will go as per his wish as his earlier trips got cancelled. Is it my fault that his trips got cancelled? He intentionally quarelled with me that he will only take left to get more passengers. is this the uber pool policy? There was no booking at that point of time.

            3. I asked him to drop me at fbb, rowdon street crossing (Hardly 150 mitres from pickup point) didn't pay him cash rs. 59/- as this was charged fair. I didn't pay him for his misbehaviour without any reason and the trip which i ultimately didn't take. I tried to cancel the trip several times after getting down from the car, but uber app didn't allow me to cancel the same. This is an unfair treatment for a genuine problem. Uber is looking after only his drivers, not passengers.

            4. How come uber shows there was pending of rs. 385/-?
            5. Why should i pay for such a i'll mannered driver?
            6. Why should i pay for something which i actually didn't take/use?
            7. The driver cunningly didn't cancel the trip when i got down to make me face this harrasement.
            8. Why should i pay for harassment? I didn't hire him for this situation. He misbehave with me.
            9. Uber is also not helping me in anyway even after several requests. Uber is instead asking me to pay rs. 385/- out of nowhere. Even this wasn't the fare. The fare was rs.59/- only. Even why should i pay for the service which i didn't take even because of the driver's misbehaviour, not mine. I am still unable to book a uber as there is this highly cheated charged is showing as pending.

            Sir/madam, i beg your help and attention to ask uber to adjust the same. As uber is not providing customer service in a true manner.

              U seriously need to do something about uber india. They are earning out of cancellations by harassing the passengers and the drivers. Their searge charges too are too high. For a 3/4 km ride they have been taking nothing less than 100 too 200 rs.
              This guys made me pay 196 rs. For a 3 to 4 km ride. Fine agreed coz thet say peak time or whatever that too understood. But today after i booked a ride i got a message saying that i will be charged 50rs. Balance for my previous ride??? For what??? Last wednesday i made the last trip where i was excessively charged. Chapter over. But what was this 50 rs. For?? Never am i taking their cab again and i am lodging this complaint with consumer complaints against their company for creating fake demands and earning from cancellations done way ahead and for harassing both the passengers and the drivers!! I have been talking to many drivers and they too have been asking me to lodge a complaint against the company coz what the company does is they give them a pick up far from where they are and when the drivers cancel it even they are wrongly charged. This company is earning like crazy from cancellations alone and harassing the public. This needs to stop!

              U guys made me pay 196 rs.for a 3 km ride. Fine agreed coz u say peak time or whatever that too understood. Last Wednesday I made the last trip where I was excessively charged.chapter over.but what was this 50 rs.for??                 Dear sir,
                On dated 25.06.2017 at 1 p. M i had book a pool ride from noida sector 1 to ace city, greter noida. During booking expected charges showing 196 but after ride end its show 500 rupees.
                I have book pool ride just because for minimum ride charges but in this ride i have pay more than double charges.
                Same day in evening i came back from ace city, greter noida to noida sector 30 (Share code is vijays4771ue) in this booking we have book full cab and during booking expected charges showing 196 and after ride end 196 i had paid to driver.
                So how it is possible that, when i was booked pool ride for 17 km i have pay 500 rupees, and when i book full booked cab ride for 15 km i have pay only 196 rupees.
                Also note that for same issue i have log complaint in uber portal on 26th june, but after so many reminder still they not gives me any single response for regarding my complaint.

                So it is requested that please provide me solution from uber side.

                  I have booked a uber pool ride on 27th june at 6:41 pm which showed the estimated cash fare of 40/- and during the trip my driver stopped the car due to internet interruption in his mobile. I have helped him to begin the trip in his mobile by offering hotspot. He has started the trip and after reaching the destination the fare showed was 127rs. How come it would be triple the amount in the uber pool ride for the same distance? I have written to uber help but none have responded till now. So thought of complaining here.

                    I booked uber from bc sen jewellers (Nawab abdur rahman street) to howrah station on 27th june 2017 at 6:52pm-7:07pm, they showed the rate between rs90-120/130 but on my arrival i was charged rs240, when i told the driver about the rate showed to me at the time of booking he said due to high demand the rate has been increased, this is ridiculous, its cheating the customers. Im never gonna book uber again in my life neither will i recommend anyone for it if i don't get my remaining money back.

                      On friday 23rd june'17 i travelled by uber from malad to charni road. When i booked the cab, the upfront fare shown was rs. 504.43, while at the end of the ride an amount of rs. 845.88 was charged to me.
                      When i raised a query with uber, they confirmed that the fare which was shown was indeed rs. 504.43 and due to high demand the fare was increased and and deducted at the end of the trip and that they will not refund the difference amount.
                      If they intend to deduct a different amount than what is shown initially what is the point of showing the amount at all.

                        On 24th june, i booked cab from airport to my home which is located in nagarbhavi, bangalore. I opted the card option in payment section. While crossing airport toll driver asked me for toll charge rs.125 cash. I denied to give him but he told he didn't know the cashless service and not bring any money. As it was a big queue at toll i paid that. But still i didn't get the amount either from driver or from uber. I raised this issue two times in uber help section, but no action till now. Please resolve it asap.

                          My number is -[protected], i took a trip from uber i was shown the upfront fare of ₹220 and i had a coupon of ₹50 and uber credit of ₹50.04 so i was supposed to pay ₹120 but i paid ₹283.in the receipt the total also is ₹120 but the cash shown is ₹233, i am attaching screenshot of receipt. I also want to complaint that this happens regularly

                            My name is ramkumar s.

                            Last sunday night (25th june 2017) at about 21:34, i made a trip from vadavalli (Coimbatore) to coimbatore railway station. While doing the booking through uber app, i was neither informed about the trip fare through app nor did i get any sms regarding the same.

                            When i got down at the railway station, to my surprise i was charged a whopping sum of rs.366.71 by the driver mr. Somasundaram. When i enquired him about this increase in fare, he said that it was charged 3 times becoz it is a sunday.

                            During my stay in coimbatore from 23rd june till 25th june, i had used uber cab service for 12 times and that too on sunday i used it 4 times. I would like to get a refund amount of at least rs.225 as i feel i had been deceived by your kind of service.

                            I would expect an explanation for this over pricing and would want you to refund rs.225.

                              I often take uber cabs to commute to & from my home and office. I have saved my home & work locations and i use these saved locations to book a cab.

                              This time as usual i booked a cab on 21st june, wednesday (From work to home). The upfront fare was showing rs.111.89. But i was charged rs. 278.05.

                              This is 2.5 times more than the upfront fare.

                              Provided:
                              1- the drop location was not changed.
                              2- i did not ask to change the route.
                              3- driver followed the route shown in the app.

                              This is cheating. When i contacted through the application, they first told me that my drop location was changed. Then they told me that drop location was ok but the route was changed. As i mentioned earlier that the driver followed the route shown in the app, even if we consider that the driver changed the route, that would add hardly 1km difference. For which would you charge 2.5 times the amount? I am really very grieved.

As i have mentioned, the route was also not changed and driver followed the same route. I can send you the snapshot if you require.                                 Its very said to notice that uber dont have any customer care center? So you can charge anything or deduct anything from customer and than become invisible?

                                My name is akshay. You can reach me at [protected]. I booked an uber on 11 june at 04:58 pm. During booking it was showing one minute (As there was an uber nearby) but when booked i got an uber (Showing at considerable distance) which was 20-30 mins away. I called the driver, he was also shocked how i got this booking and said that it will take 30 mins to reach there. So i cancelled the booking as i knew there is an uber nearby. After cancelling, i booked uber again which was very near and it came in just 3 mins.

                                After completing the journey, i was shocked to hear that i was charged 50 rs as a cancellation fee. While cancelling on app (Windows mobile app) there was no notification about 50 rs deduction. Moreover, why should i pay i[censored]ber itself booked a long distant cab instead of that of the uber located nearby? And why there's no customer care to resolve such petty issues?

                                I want uber to refund my 50rs. Its not the amount thats troubling me, but its the 'feeling of getting cheated' by large mnc like uber with no customer care.

                                I resolved this complaint finally. When searched in Google there was some Uber helpcare website (https://help.uber.com/). After login into the website, there was an option for the refund of cancellation charges. I have to select the trip and the cancellation charges of Rs. 50 was immediately credited as 'Uber Credit'. But still, why there is no Uber Customer care? I'm tech savy so I can resolve it myself, however for others it will be very difficult.

                                Hi i booked a uber Go .My trip was with Mr. Afzal in Tata Indica AP 28 TV 7783 this morning at 9:02 AM form madhu park redige to my work place at osmania university and the estimated cost as Rs167.85 but the driver charged me Rs 240 . Please give me an explanation for the extra charge.

                                  I soumya mandal, a senior manager of pricewaterhousecoopers india have two mobile numbers [protected] and [protected] both of them are pricewaterhousecoopers corporate numbers.
                                  I have uber accounts for both of these numbers which are mapped under my emailid - soumya. [protected]@gmail.com.
                                  On 22nd june i got a prompt in my mobile with number [protected] to update the uber app. Once i clicked "ok" the uber got uninstalled from mobile.
                                  After that i am trying to install the uber app in my mobile but it is saying "your number is deactivated". Number of times i haves reached the uber customer care but said that "it appears that your account has been suspended for activity that violates our terms and conditions and will be unavailable for you".
                                  Once asked they are unable to provide the terms which i have violated.
                                  Can you please take a serious step.

                                    My email id is mumti. Kashyap. [protected]@gmail.com. I always get 40% offs on my rides where as my friends get 75% off. Why this treatment. What can be done to get 75% offs? Three times i got this offer. Actually my friend's id is registered with my mobile number, so both the offers in his and my account is texted to my number. And today (26.06.2017) is the third time i am getting a 40% off where as he got 75% off. If this continues, i will discontinue using uber services. They should offer equal discounts to their customers.

                                      Last month i booked uber cab twice. One is around 3am & other one is around 11.30pm.in both cases driver denied the booking (I don't know the reason). I called them many times which obviously takes more than 5 mins.
                                      They deducted 63.6/- in both bookings individually without any mistake from my-side through my paytm account.

                                      I resisted complaint through help section provided in uber application more than once, but not received any reply or refund. I also faced mental harassment due to these cancellation my whole family was on the road in these two odd timing.

                                      I expect a strong action against this complaint. Because it may cause a serious problem to any other customer. Please take a preventive action.

                                        I had booked the ride on 12th june and selected payment mode as debit card. The ride completed sucessfully but i couldn't make payment due to bug in app. After that i raised several complaints and tried paying using paytm, cash on next booking. However all in vain. I am unable to book ride now and there has been no response or resolution to this compalint till date.

                                        I tried many times to get the coupon but i din't get and 3-4 times you have cut my 50 coupons..
