My number is -[protected], i took a trip from uber i was shown the upfront fare of ₹220 and i had a coupon of ₹50 and uber credit of ₹50.04 so i was supposed to pay ₹120 but i paid ₹283.in the receipt the total also is ₹120 but the cash shown is ₹233, i am attaching screenshot of receipt. I also want to complaint that this happens regularly

    Last sunday night (25th june 2017) at about 21:34, i made a trip from vadavalli (Coimbatore) to coimbatore railway station. While doing the booking through uber app, i was neither informed about the trip fare through app nor did i get any sms regarding the same.

    When i got down at the railway station, to my surprise i was charged a whopping sum of rs.366.71 by the driver mr. Somasundaram. When i enquired him about this increase in fare, he said that it was charged 3 times becoz it is a sunday.

    During my stay in coimbatore from 23rd june till 25th june, i had used uber cab service for 12 times and that too on sunday i used it 4 times. I would like to get a refund amount of at least rs.225 as i feel i had been deceived by your kind of service.

    I would expect an explanation for this over pricing and would want you to refund rs.225.

      I often take uber cabs to commute to & from my home and office. I have saved my home & work locations and i use these saved locations to book a cab.

      This time as usual i booked a cab on 21st june, wednesday (From work to home). The upfront fare was showing rs.111.89. But i was charged rs. 278.05.

      This is 2.5 times more than the upfront fare.

      Provided:
      1- the drop location was not changed.
      2- i did not ask to change the route.
      3- driver followed the route shown in the app.

      This is cheating. When i contacted through the application, they first told me that my drop location was changed. Then they told me that drop location was ok but the route was changed. As i mentioned earlier that the driver followed the route shown in the app, even if we consider that the driver changed the route, that would add hardly 1km difference. For which would you charge 2.5 times the amount? I am really very grieved.

It looks like you were shown an upfront fare of inr 111.89 before you confirmed this ride and it holds as long as the destination remains unchanged and the suggested route is followed. On checking your trip, i found that the route taken wasn't the same as the suggested route.

      Hence, based on the actual pickup and drop off locations of the trip, i can confirm that the adjusted fare of inr 278.05 is correct. For further questions, please write to us and uber will be glad to assist you.

      Hello team, please check your records again. I have saved my drop location as home and my work location as work in the app. This was a regular trip. As i have mentioned, the route was also not changed and driver followed the same route. I can send you the snapshot if you require.       Share details: the fare showing for my trip was 111 rs. However, i am charged rs 278. This is bizarre. I did not change the route. And driver followed the route shown in the app only. Plz look into the issue and refund me the overcharged amount.

        Its very said to notice that uber dont have any customer care center? So you can charge anything or deduct anything from customer and than become invisible?

        My name is akshay. You can reach me at [protected]. I booked an uber on 11 june at 04:58 pm. During booking it was showing one minute (As there was an uber nearby) but when booked i got an uber (Showing at considerable distance) which was 20-30 mins away. I called the driver, he was also shocked how i got this booking and said that it will take 30 mins to reach there. So i cancelled the booking as i knew there is an uber nearby. After cancelling, i booked uber again which was very near and it came in just 3 mins.

        After completing the journey, i was shocked to hear that i was charged 50 rs as a cancellation fee. While cancelling on app (Windows mobile app) there was no notification about 50 rs deduction. Moreover, why should i pay i[censored]ber itself booked a long distant cab instead of that of the uber located nearby? And why there's no customer care to resolve such petty issues?

        I want uber to refund my 50rs. Its not the amount thats troubling me, but its the 'feeling of getting cheated' by large mnc like uber with no customer care.

        I resolved this complaint finally. When searched in Google there was some Uber helpcare website (https://help.uber.com/). After login into the website, there was an option for the refund of cancellation charges. I have to select the trip and the cancellation charges of Rs. 50 was immediately credited as 'Uber Credit'. But still, why there is no Uber Customer care? I'm tech savy so I can resolve it myself, however for others it will be very difficult.

        Hi i booked a uber Go .My trip was with Mr. Afzal in Tata Indica AP 28 TV 7783 this morning at 9:02 AM form madhu park redige to my work place at osmania university and the estimated cost as Rs167.85 but the driver charged me Rs 240 . Please give me an explanation for the extra charge.

          I soumya mandal, a senior manager of pricewaterhousecoopers india have two mobile numbers [protected] and [protected] both of them are pricewaterhousecoopers corporate numbers.
          I have uber accounts for both of these numbers which are mapped under my emailid - soumya. [protected]@gmail.com.
          On 22nd june i got a prompt in my mobile with number [protected] to update the uber app. Once i clicked "ok" the uber got uninstalled from mobile.
          After that i am trying to install the uber app in my mobile but it is saying "your number is deactivated". Number of times i haves reached the uber customer care but said that "it appears that your account has been suspended for activity that violates our terms and conditions and will be unavailable for you".
          Once asked they are unable to provide the terms which i have violated.
          Can you please take a serious step.

            My email id is mumti. Kashyap. [protected]@gmail.com. I always get 40% offs on my rides where as my friends get 75% off. Why this treatment. What can be done to get 75% offs? Three times i got this offer. Actually my friend's id is registered with my mobile number, so both the offers in his and my account is texted to my number. And today (26.06.2017) is the third time i am getting a 40% off where as he got 75% off. If this continues, i will discontinue using uber services. They should offer equal discounts to their customers.

              Last month i booked uber cab twice. One is around 3am & other one is around 11.30pm.in both cases driver denied the booking (I don't know the reason). I called them many times which obviously takes more than 5 mins.
              They deducted 63.6/- in both bookings individually without any mistake from my-side through my paytm account.

              I resisted complaint through help section provided in uber application more than once, but not received any reply or refund. I also faced mental harassment due to these cancellation my whole family was on the road in these two odd timing.

              I expect a strong action against this complaint. Because it may cause a serious problem to any other customer. Please take a preventive action.

                I had booked the ride on 12th june and selected payment mode as debit card. The ride completed sucessfully but i couldn't make payment due to bug in app. After that i raised several complaints and tried paying using paytm, cash on next booking. However all in vain. I am unable to book ride now and there has been no response or resolution to this compalint till date.

                I tried many times to get the coupon but i din't get and 3-4 times you have cut my 50 coupons..

                  I had booked upto destination ina market on 13/06/2017 and i got down exactly at ina market, delhi. The driver rode as per your navigation to my destination. The upfront fare was shown rs145 which changed to 201/- which is surprising. And rs201 was deducted from my paytm account.
                  I took up the matter with uber customer care several times. It seems they are hiding something and not disclosing my booking and drop off point despite my repeated requests.
                  I confirm that my booking and drop off point were the same.
                  I request you to kindly investigate and find out the details. Awaited your response.

                    I am a regular user o[censored]ber. Infact, i recommend people to use this app. But today it has disappointed me. I have lost the trust i had in uber.
                    I ordered uber today but it got cancelled as the driver had some other works. He didn't have that much decency to call me and inform me about the cancellation. And on top of that i'm being charged ₹40 for the cancellation which was not made by me.
                    It is not about the money but about the carelessness of the driver and being charged for something which was not done by you. I want my money back.

                      Payment happened twice for only one ride, as i made for payment previous ride to book cab for the next ride.

                      Even though amount debited from my account even app showed me still the previous bill is pending so i made payment again because there was urgency for me to book a cab in that moment.

                      Then after if i check my account details then i found that payment happened twice for the same ride.

                      I need a refund for the thing happened.

                      I have already paid my trip fare in cash and got the receipt on my mail too. The amount that was shown was 338 and the bill was also of 338 but on Sunday when I was trying to book can it is showing 329 pending and asking for pay the same.

                        On 24.6.2017 i travelled in uber cab (Uber pool) from aziz nagar, kodambakkam to ayswariya mahal, koyambedu. (At about 18.30 hrs). When leaving the car i left my new mobile in the car. Fourtunately, i have got the drivers phone number. His mobile number is [protected]. He says that the mobile has been taken by another rider unknowingly. I don't know what really has happened. He adds that the contact details of the rider has to be shared by ubder. My relatives and friends are asking me to lodged a police complaint which i am not interested at this stage.
                        I wish to add that i am a regular user o[censored]ber. For the past 15 days i have been regularly using your cab for going to my office. I have stored so many important details and phone numbers in the phone. Kindly help me by giving me the number of the rider or get the issue resolved by taking some quick action. I feel very much anxious.

                          I am a regular UBER user ever since it started service in Kochi. I was a 100% happy customer till yesterday 23.6.17 when I called Mr Aneesh who attended my booking. The moment I saw him coming in his lousy Ritz car I got annoyed. For my surprise his vehicle's a/c and horn both was not working at all. He was speeding through the busy streets as a mad fellow and I got scared. When I questioned about this he replied in a very filthy manner and told me to cancel ride if I want. He even abused me personally and told for this amount you are supposed to get this service only. Naturally I got angry and cautioned him about the poor rating. He challenged me and told he would also complain uber telling that I was under alcoholic influence. Actually I was on the way to hospital where my mother was in ICU. today I got a message from uber saying that I was drunk and such behavior can't be tolerated. I'm totally upset that nobody is there to hear my words. Let me also tell you this was the first such unfortunate incident happened in the last 1000 odd bookings I did with uber. Hope I will get some justice.

                            Hi Team,

                            I am writing this utter frustration. On 21st June, my wife and kids have to catch train from railway station and at 6:00 pm, I booked uber. Driver called me up asked me my exact location and then destination. I waited for him for more than 10 min while the ETA was showing 2 min on uber app. So, I called him and found that he had switched of his phone. I kept trying. I realized this guy had ditched me, I canceled it and booked uber again. I called up the driver and told him the destination. He told me he wouldn't go there and asked me to cancel, and I cancelled. I booked uber again and called up the driver and got the same answer that he would't go there as there is heavy traffic. I asked him to cancel so that I can book another one. He didn't cancel. Since I was getting late, I took out my own car. It took me around 10 min to take my car out as it was in parking. When I had just stepped out of my society gate, the driver called me again and asked me where should he come. I think he was monitoring my location and thought I had taken another cab. Since I was just outside the gate, I asked him if he could come there. Then, he said no. since it is for Anand Vihar railway station, he wouldn't go. He was trying to play extra smart with him. I really felt bad about this. My family could have missed the train. And the funniest thing is, uber was deducting my money for each cancellation. I wondered why can't uber understand that why someone will keep cancelling his trip, and then, booking again for the same destination. I would have sought help from some uber representative at that time, while what I got in return was a charge for each cancellation. I am surprised at such behaviour o[censored]ber driver. If no driver goes to some destination, uber shall inform us while booking that due to congestion on the route, cabs won't go there. Uber app let me enter my destination and showed fare as well, but no driver turned up.
                            I know Uber refunds the money, but can they think of the mental agony and frustration that one goes through when one gets stranded for such reason. I could have missed my train. I drove fast and could have hit someone too. I know my behaviour on the road was not right but Uber inflicted this. I surely expect a better service from Uber.

                              Respected Sir,
                              I've been unnecessarily charged for cancellation bcoz of d drivers fault..
                              Mr.Ramdas, an indica can driver never turned up for pick up after d confirmation call but kept me waiting for 20 minutes and also didn't respond to d many calls I made..I'm a regular customer o[censored]ber...
                              NEVER experienced such carelessness from drivers.
                              I expect a refund.

                                We booked 6 times within 10 minutes. All drivers declained to pickup as the distance was less and less amount would be collected. From tambaram to perungalathur (Appx. 10 km) between pickup place and drop. Drivers used bad words too. I have those recorded voices of them. This uber service is too bad. Don't use it. I m going to uninstall now. We have several services to ride with.

                                Tell me a few things...
                                1. If you are not ready to pick up, why do the drivers accept customer booking?

                                2. If you want only money go and beg on the roads and people to people. Why do you abuse customer for your stupidity?

                                3. Is this the reputation the service provider wants to provide?

                                4. Still many... But i don't want to give any feedback. Just want to uninstall and recommend my friends to stop using such idiotic sercive.

                                  I booked a cab from 12th cross rameshnagar banglore to cherry blossom apartment in varthur. My wife was travelling in cab toyoto ethios... 6390 is the no.

                                  She had kept the mobile for charging with driver after dropping and after collecting payment the driver just scotted off from the place. The trip was booked from mobile no bearing [protected]. Now the driver has intentionally switched off the mobile by the time i could chase him he just scotted off..
                                  We booked the cab by 3:30pm on 24th june 2017
                                  This is a costly mobile, i am seeking urgent help as all my calls land on this no.

                                      My self Tarun Sain abd I was booked a ride last night 24.06.2017 after that my journey completed than driver's mobile not working properly and he just stopped to me for fare. I was saying that please take tha fare extra which was 67.99 Rs. But He was saying please solve it out becouse i dont know about tge systems..Finally after complete my ride than i was in uber car due to network issue with 45 minutes in tha car for the fare..Driver charged from me 125 Rs. Instead of 67.99 Rs..this is not mt fault that drivers nobile not working and no application working whatever...Please suggest me that Why i bear for extra Charges when i comleted my journey with Rs 67.99..why i bear around Rs 60 extra..I want refund..otherwise i dont want further bever use uber ride and dont should to says to my cleague fir uber...its veri irritating ride..
                                      Please solve out and explain this matter otherwise i esclate this matter to seniour manager...

                                        I have raised requests for overcharging on 5 different trips to uber but have received no response yet. I raise a complaint every single day. The trips i am talking about are:

                                        If this continues, i am going to move to the consumer court against uber.
