On 5/28/17 at 2.08 pm we started our ride from innovative multiplex, marathahalli to sathya sai layout, whitefield. The charge was expected to be around 200 but it came 555.80. My payment option is card payment. When i studied the route map, it was not the same we came by. The map showed the route from kadabeesanahalli via mahadevapura to whitefield while we really took the route from marathahalli to kadabeesanahalli road and then via varthur kodi we reached our destination. We didnot take the route to mahadevapura as shown in map.in the receipt the distance is shown as 185.77 km while we travelled not more than 15 km.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I booked an uber pool and the destination was 2km from my pickup location. When I booked the cab the fare I confirmed was 49 but got shocked to see a charge of 179 which 3.5 times of the pool charge and 2.5 time o[censored]ber go charge. I complained to uber support but no explanation or refund so far.
Every time i am booking cab through Uber, it is charging me twice. this happened like 3 - 4 times in a row, as it was emergency and i didnot have any other car hiring app I had to book it. but i am unable to contact the customer care. I tried reaching them but i guess they donot have a dedicated customer support to support customer issues.

    Hi team,

    I have tried reaching you many times, however none of my email have been answered, my husband was travelling on 12th jun 2017 at 12:45 am, and he is not familiar with the uber facility as he is using his own car, but because of some reason he has to use uber and at the time of drop he did not ask driver to end the trip and that's why we have overcharged by double amount then showed at the time of booking the trip. Please find attached screenshot for the trip details.

      I booked uber cab honda amaze from charbagh railway station to jankipuram on 17/06/17 around 5:30am
      The driver didn't come at the pick up location but shown trip started after some time. When i called him he says that he is with some other passenger and going to some other destination, i am surprised, how it is possible. He says that aap doosare cab book karlo.
      Kindly take strict action against him.

      I took today morning a Uber Cab from Chinchwad railway station to Bavdhan Pune, i got estimated charge about Rs. 275/- after complete my ride driver took Rs. 618/- i have paid because driver behavior was very rude and i am traveling with my family.
      MH48F0750 Tata Indica, Driver-lalmohmad, taken rs.105 from Rna regency park kandivali to Siddharth Nagar goregaon, instead of rs.55 ( which was shown during the booking o[censored]ber pool cab)

        Kindly check the complaints i hv been giving regarding the ride on 18th june 10.58 am. Instead of driving through regular road the driver selected the longest route and through the dingy lanes unknown to us. My mom 70 year old almost lost her heart when she saw lanes. I called the driver n told him but he refused to listen. I have drafted a letter against the car number n uber. Its really unsafe to rely on cheats like such big companies.

        On 9-6-2017 I got a promo offer message from Uber. But that Promo Code (TUMI75) was not worked in my Uber account.
        On[protected] I got another Promo Code (ETIYA75) which would give 75% Discount. I tried to get the offer but it once again not accepted.
        So Please Solve the Issue as quick as Possible.
        This car's driver was very abusive.He cancelled the ride and when we called him he abused very badly. I will take serious action about this if you aren't going to take any. Make sure his licence is cancelled for a while.And make sure your drivers are behaving properly with customers.

          On 13/6/17, i have made uber request from saravana stores, padi, chennai to arumbakkam, chennai. Request went to mr kannan, car no-tn12r6576, next minute i made the request i called the driver and informed pickup place and he replied ok i will come, after that we were waiting for 30 mints but he didn't respond to cal, then i called the driver and asked wer r u and it is getting late pls cancel the ride i'll make another request, but in return he spoke with me in rude voice tone and told me i can't come and i will not cancel ur ride either and told me do what ever u want to do, then he cut the call, in that situation i cannot able to cancel the ride either, since über is charging cancellation charges from customer nor i cannot make a new ride because my previous ride in process stage, pls take an disciplinary action against the driver and i need a feedback update in email (Rajeswari. [protected]@yahoo.in) regarding the action taken against that driver from uber end.

          Wrong gps location was detected by the the uber driver so he wasn't able to reach my location to pick me up and later on the trip was cancelled by the uber driver and for that action I had paid 76.84 rs. So I want that amount should be adjusted in next trip.

          I booked pool ride from Q spider to Mea apts noida sector 62 but cab driver cancle the ride.Then again i booked the pool ride but i paid total as Rs 185
          So requested to refund my rest amount

            Hi, yesterday i have place a request for cab booking from 18509 gurjar samrat mihir bhoj marg, i. P. Extension, west vinod nagar, delhi, 110092, india at 05:49pm and have received pick up message vehicle wagon r, name sanjeev and phone no.[protected]. And i have called him up and he replied he was at isbt new delhi and with passenger it will take half an hour to reach in my location and suggest me to hire some other and i had to cancel that trip in situation had to pay cancellation charges-63.60 rs. Which was not my fault need to refund that money.

              My wallet was left at the uber cab at around 12.15 am on 18th june in kalyan. Rather than getting a call from the driver i received a surprise that 2 of my debit cards got swiped at an atm at 10:02 am on sunday morning at ghatkoper as shown in the text message. One weird coincidence that the driver and the owner of the uber are from ghatkoper.
              My aadhar card, one company pan card and one personal pan card have been lost in this incident. Also a some of rs 2000 in cash has been stolen. I just request any kind of help or support to find the thief. As the driver as well as the owner of the vehicle have the vehicle registered in the uber business. So i will definitely have grevience against uber india.
              I have already logged a police complaint in kalyan local police station of kolsevadi. Would also request a proof of footage from the bank of the withdrawal being made from the particular atm and atlast but not the least, would demand justice.

                Do you have any responsibility or not to verify the mobile number or you just link any junkie's email address with any mobile number. I need you to free my mobile phone number and link it with email address.

                    Today noon time booked uber pool but drive reached on wrong location. The location was sapna hotel malad west s v road but he reached ratna hotel goregaon west n said for cancellation. Again i booked uber pool driver was at demart malad west but he said he is nt able to reach n he will take a time because of traffic n said for cancellation. 3rd time uber pool n reached my destination properly.
                    In this there is no mistake and i have to pay 250rs instead of 90rs.
                    Drivers are making mistakes and i have to suffer for it

                      I had today booked uber taxi from sector 82 gurgaon to bus stand gurgaon on 16.06.2017. The driver didn't even come at the pick up location but shown trip started. So amount deducted from my paytm account was rs, 68.52. It is completely non sense. Which type of drivers you have hired. Please refund the amount in my paytm account.

                        I am vincent rabha with registered email id on uber [protected]@gmail.com. I was charged 63 inr twice for cancellation o[censored]ber go rides in sector 22, dwarka, delhi 77, drove by drivers named gaurav and ghanshyam on 10-jun-2017 and 9-jun-2017, whereas the drivers denied duty when i told my drop location is in gurgaon, haryana. Why should this type of cabs be booked on the uber smartphone app when such type of drivers are the ones drivibg the cab, and above all why should the customers be charged for cancellation of ride if drivers deny duty?

                          Hello sir/ma’am,

                          I’m writing this email to inform you that since last 3 day’s i am getting a lot of calls regarding the cab bookings on my phone ([protected]). I am not a cab driver and i never registered my number on uber as driver. Please let me know why is my number being shown to the users (As they have claimed when they contact me regarding their bookings). Please also check this number in your driver database and block the corresponding user now.

                          I also contacted to your support team, they asked me to comply it in police.

                          I am getting call at [protected].

                          I expect an action and a response to this email within a day. It has been mentally harassing for me to take so many irrelevant and irritating calls just because of the inability of your software’s system to verify driver contact numbers. Please revert with your response asap and don’t compel me to take legal actions against you.

                            Hired uber on 16/06/17 to drop at sealdah station. While dropping, another car no. Wb046101 from uber, parked his car closely to the left door in which i was traveling, which blocked me to get down from my car. On requested, to move his car, he simply started abusing me and driver. And continuously shouting that i am muslim and let's see who can dare to touch me, which was absolutely rubbish. Can something can be done to this impolite driver of wb046101. Wb046101 has dropped his customer with bill value ₹186.00 or so.
                            Request you to take an action to the driver of wb04- 6101.

                              My name is mamta sajnani. My contact number is [protected]. I ve been trying to contact uber since 2 days i ve raised a complaint and your so called reliable and hassle free service do not fail to let me down everytime i m in need of a cab. I booked a cab from 10 downing street t nager at 9.30pm on tuesday. I called the driver in 2 mins to find out where he is. He asked me alot of questions as to where the drop is how much is the estimate. And finally refused to pick me up from my location coz i was paying via card. I told him if i have the option i would change to cash & make it easy for you n me. Unfortunately it isn't possible after booking. After requesting him he dint agree. I told him fine do one thing cancel the ride coz it was beyond 5 mins. I didn't want to pay cancellation charges. He dint cancel the ride till the very end. And after 2 days i seem to have a 287 charge for a service i haven't used. Beyond 9.30 there's a shortage of cabs in this city and your so called reliable service is as pathetic as politicians. Worthless and fraudsters.

                                I have booked uber today from malad west because we were finding difficult to get rick the driver came after long time and that # said we don't allow pet in the cab the driver name is premnath and cab no is 3231 after telling him dat we do go in uber with our pet but he asked us to get down which was very annoying.

                                Pls uber kindly inform the driver or the passenger if they are not ok with any kind of pet.

                                  I took a cab from green village resprt marve, the driver named mohd rashid in between of ride started using abusive language and made me get down of cab stating that he had rosa and he could not take me to destination.
                                  The worst part is uber doesnt have customer care number to contact. The driver uses abusive language whol should we contact. Two ladies are travelling and suddenly the driver starts abusing sayin he cannot take u to destination as he wants to open some roza, in such cases what about safety of ladies travelling through uber?? And whom shud we contact??

                                    Have booked cab in today morning 17 june 2017 at around 11 to shankar maharaj math dhankawadi from vishal nagar, driver called me and told me he will be at my place in 5 mins and all of sudden cab get cancled and there was message that i have to pay 64rs even though driver cancled cab. Then i have booked another cab to same sankar maharaj math, dhankawadi, it was showing 250 rs approximate fair, i took cab. After some time driver was saying destination location seems to incorrect i have to update it to dhankawadi, when i have updated it, it was updated with message 1.4x surcharge and final fair was 484.51 rs + 64 rs =548.51so they took additional charge and surcharge too. 1) cab was cancelled that is not my problem 2) they don't have proper location in search bar for shankar maharaj math dhankawadi which cause me additional money 3) inconvenience due to cab cancle regards, nilesh

                                      Have booked the cab from dsk sundarban, pune to pune railway station yetsterday night dt.16th june 2017 for pickup at 09.15pm to 09.30pm. While booking have got quote of rs.170-220 so booked the cab.. There was normal traffic & driver mr. Sudhir said he need the gas fill up needed & we were in queue for 10-15 min's. After end of my trip driver handed over whopping bill of rs.694.59 for 13-14 kums journey.
                                      The driver said this is due to surcharge & asked to pay the money & resister the complaint but overall i felt the uber cheated me while giving the quote of rs.170-220 & taking extra surchage of rs.490. So i need the refund of the surcharge.

                                        I am amazed at how difficult it is reach and contact this company. They have incorrectly stopped my account and i have been trying to write to them but no one reverts or calls back. I have written to them several times and every time the same standard response that they'll get back in touch in 24 hours, it's now over a week and my account is still blocked. I have no clue why!!! Is there any human working in this company who can bother to revert back??? It's the worst service ever!!! Divya
