To start with i was having a problem booking my cab through your app. Everytime i booked a cab, i was popped with an error message “something went wrong”. Scanning further i noticed that the card details associated with my account were that of the card that i seldom use, so i requested uber support to terminate my card details and keep paytm and cash as the only method of payment. Upon this request i got a reply that payment method cannot be deleted from our end and the customer can delete it via app, i followed the procedure, but was unable to do so with an error message “deleting active payment method not allowed ’’. I informed the same to uber. This time i got a reply that since my card is associated with multiple accounts, it has been suspended across all accounts and flagged off as a suspicious activity and, i was advised to add new payment method.in reply, i told uber to keep paytm and cash as only options for payment and provide me the details of all other accounts using my card as a payment method, as i have only one account synced with uber. Upon this message, i got a reply that my account has been suspended and this decision is final. To my horror, it as shock that how can a company like uber terminates my account without proper justification. It is totally disrespectful o[censored]ber to treat customer like that.
Adding to it, my concern is that if the mistake is on my part, i will rectify it and will accept account suspension. However, i was not pleased with the information and help provided by uber, uber is unable to provide me details of all other accounts using my card details. I am neither any payment defaulter, nor did i behave wrongly with any of the drivers. So, how can my account be suspended?. Also, i believe uber cannot delete my account without my consent. I feel insulted and defamed by this behavior from uber. It’s like uber can treat anyone in any fashion.
Upon unable to receive satisfactory help from uber, i have registered this case with national consumer helpline - jago grahak jago, complaint number - 284128.
As a resolution to above case i want uber to lift the suspension of my account and resolve my problem of booking cab and let me pay only via cash or paytm or any other wallet and also provide me details of all account wherein my card is being currently used, as it’s a matter of my money and prestige.

    I booked for a cab on 3rd of june for a destination. After few i received a call from cab driver asking me to cancel the ride as he was quite far (10 min away) from my house. I asked him to come and pick me up...
    And after few couple of minutes my app displayed that the driver cancelled the ride... And i was asked to pay a due sum of rs 50 to your firm... This is not at all fair and if this is your strategy to work in bhopal, madhya pradesh. I want you to remove the tag of defaulter from my account as soon as possible.
    I hope you'll undertake quick action and do the needful.

    TODAY morning I BOOKED A RIDE...
    FROM (sanjay gandi nagar) TO (rangareddy nagar)
    MY FARE WAS 25 rs/- that is promo code apylied WITH A TOTAL DISTANCE OF 4 to 5 kms.
    But after I ended my trip, It was showing 51/-/-, and I was forced to pay the amount and I paid in cash, even though I argued...But instead, he told me to lodge a complain

      Hi,

      I booked uber from hal old airport rd to bytarayanapura police station (Satellite bus stand) around 6:20pm today and also contacted uber driver and informed the location details.

      Driver mentioned that he's on the way and will reach by 10 mins however as per the app location the cab was just 5 mins away from the place. Even after waiting for 20-30 mins for the driver's call and also trying to contact the driver constantly, driver refused to attend the call and just kept on disconnecting the calls. I had to board a bus at 8:30 in satellite bus stand but due to the driver's negligence he made me wait unnecessarily and couldn't book another cab.

      I had no option to cancel because it says 50 rs for cancellation which is not my fault.

      I don't understand what kind of customer service u provide. Neither we have an uber customer care india or there's no reason listed to mention during cancellation.

        Description of incident:
        I had booked an uber cab a day before journey date i. E. 29th april 2017 evening as i and my mother wanted to leave for pune airport around 8:15 to 8:30am. When i did a booking i had requested for time slot between 8:15 to 8:30am. Next day morning (30th april) i got call from iqbal at 8:18am asking for exact location. He reached my place by 8:24am. I was still under impression that as i booked cab for 8:15 to 8:30am slot, he is before time and i was happy to get more than expected good delivery from uber. I told him to wait and committed that we would reach the place where he was waiting within next 10 minutes. I sent my mother first to acknowledge him about our arrival. But when i reached to him and confirmed the cab number and name, he got angry on me and started saying rudely "madam kitna wait karna pada" (Madam, how much time should i wait). I told him politely that you can charge us extra for extra waiting. But his behavior was totally unprofessional. He argued a lot on our delay and started saying "madam dusra cab karo main cancel karta hu" (Book another cab i am cancelling the ride). We were already late to leave for airport due to arguments with him, so my mother requested him not to cancel and leave for airport. Till we grab a cab, my two relatives were with us with their 4 big bags who were not supposed to travel with us at all. When we would have left, they had to take a seperate auto to their different destination. But iqbal looking at their bags suddenly and loudly said, "i am not going to accept these many bags, madam i am cancelling the ride". We tried to convince him that these people are not coming with us to airport. But he couldn't control on himself and the arguments continued.in short he didn't at all want to get us to airport. Finally we asked to cancel the ride, what we could have done if he would have started arguing with us on the way? He cancelled the ride and we finally booked another ola cab at 9:15am after spending lot of time arguing with him. 9:15 am was very late for us to leave for airport. Fortunately we reached and boarded the flight.

        I have used uber a lot and have never ever got such service. This driver's behavior totally surprised me. Being lady customers, he should have been polite with me and with my mother. I want to acknowledge uber that i am totally disappointed with this uber driver's response. Consequences could have happened were, we could have missed our flight, we could have not get another cab on time, while rushing to airport could have faced road accidents, etc.

        The desirable resolution of my complaint is:
        1. I would really want uber to ask for clarification on this unprofessional behavior and let me know what action was taken against him.
        2. After he cancelled, rs. 64 was deducted from my account, please refund the same.

        Unfortunately i dont have his number, but you may check the ride history on my name. My details are:

          Harry this side it was worst service from last 2 time when ever i book cab and call driver they use to say cancel the cab and after waiting they refused to come and now they are charging for cancelation what the hell is this? I didnt refused to go.one drive driver himself told me its very easy for us to cancel we get only 4qstions we have to answer only those like we put person was not there we will get our incentive customer has to pay cancellation.look forward to it many are facing this problem now why should i pay if i didnt refused to come?

          On 2 June 2017 I booked a uber cab DL1RT 6084 FROM ROHINI TO NANGLOI.WHEN I CALLED THE DRIVER surjeet after waiting for 15 min HE STARTED TALKING RUDELY AND NON-SENSE and cancelled the ride.He was using very bad language.poor services by uber

            I had 2 issues on the same day so i am writing about both in the same mail. I booked an uber from lajpat nagar 4 to khanpur on 05/06/2017 at 9.16pm. When i called my driver he told me that he is 15minutes away from my location and his car is not having sufficiant fuel. Though my phone was showing his location only 3mins away from me. So he 'ordered' me to cancel the ride;his name is satvir with mob no.-[protected].
            After that i cancelled the ride and booked again at 9.19pm from same location. The driver was vikash (Mob no-[protected]). When i called him he asked my destination and refused to go there. He also told me to cancel the ride. When i refused to do so he replied in a very callous way that 'i will cancel the ride after coming to your location.'after 5-7mins he came to my location and when i approached the car he locked the car from inside;in front of me he waited for 4minutes and cancelled the ride. This was highly revengeful and disrespectful.
            Such drivers should be immediately banned from uber. Please take necessary actions against these drivers. Such drivers are really a black mark for the company. Please help and revert.

            On 20th May 2017 i travelled from kahpri to IT park in Nagpur which normally change me 150-200 rupees max, that say they charged 520 rupees. Please refunc my extra money took that day.

              I am a regular user o[censored]ber taxi. Of late, i had a horrible experience which i think appropriate to share with all relevent customers. I booked a pool car on saturday at around 6.30 pm from salt lake ep block 700091 to goa bagan 700006. The fare shared with me was rs 41 as i got a discount from uber. As i was on pool car, driver taken all convenient roads which he felt on getting some customer call. Sadly he did not get a single call. When i reached my destination, he asked me to pay rs 349.81 as a fare. Where as i got an intimation to pay rs 41. When i started quering on him, he called up tye customer care and that fellow infact refused to talk to me. Later i got a mail from them which confirms that i had 60km ride!!! What a bigggggg thugs they are. Driver was also speechless on this. When i shared my concern to their autherity, they kept on sharing me nagging reply on surge, km. Bla bla.
              My queation is when i was in pool car do i have a control on asking drivwr to take road as per my conveenience? Secondly what is thia surge when i had availed pool service. Sadly this was a theft in a sophisticated manner. I have started avoiding this cab service and requeat others to beware of such tricks..

                I took a share ride with uber in new delhi on 06.06.2017. The name of the driver was rajesh wagon r dl 1 rt 4457. He denied entry of my 2nd share passenger for whom i had already paid. He was very ride and said it is against the rules. He even shouted at me and told me to contact uber for the complaint. These kind of drivers should be de barred from driving cars. Such people mentally harass you for no reason. I need a confirmation that this guy has been punished from uber side for such unprofessional conduct.

                  I had an issue with uber pool charges in bangalore.
                  I have booked the uber pool and taken the ride on 22 may from ramagondanahalli to cloud nine whitefield. While booking in my device it showed rs.49/- but after the trip completion driver told me to pay rs.311/- i was shocked after hearing that amount. I asked the driver why i need to pay 311/- in my device it is showing 49/- only. So he called customer care and they told the driver to take the amount rs49/- only. So i gave 49/-. After paying i got the trip mail in that it is showing 180/- but on the app it is showing around rs.311/- why both the amounts are different and why you have charged that much of amount for only 8kms.

                  Today on 6th june i have taken the another ride in pool from ramagondanahalli to cloud nine hospital same location as previous.in the device it shows rs49/- but he collected rs.180/- i asked the driver why i need to pay 180/- he told that for this trip rs. 49/+ for last trip taken on 22 may has the balance amount of 130/-. Total he collected the amount from me is 49+130=179~ 180. 130/- extra i have paid. Total amount i have paid by cash. Now i need the refund of 130/- which was collected extra and need explanation why it was happening. Uber is very good network and did not expect this from uber.

                  Attached thr screenshots which has taken on may 22, trip charge from mail is 180/- but in the uber app under trips for the same ride it shows rs. 311/-

                  In the uber app under i have mentioned all the details in the conversation but no one has replied and sent mail also.

                    What rubbish... I always preferred uber over ola.. But u guys need to get your act right... Why the hell u charged 64 for the ride which was not even took place.. At 3.50am i requested uber to pick up and i called that guy to confirm... He responded and said he'll arrive within 10mins but he never did.. We as a clown waited there for like 20min and he didn't even responded after that confirmation call... So i cancelled and took auto.. But u guys without knowing anything charged me 64 i want my refund cuz it wasn't my fault

                      I had booked a cab No HR99XW2393 Chevrolet Beat (Rajinder) from Zirakpur Siani Dhaba at Zirakpur on Ambala Chandigarh Highway around 00.20 am on 5th June, 2017. Then I made a call to driver he told me that he is reaching in 5 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes I made him at least 20 calls but he did not respond. All the time his phone was not reachable. Only once his phone bell rang but he did not respond. Today i.e. 6th I spoke to him regarding this then he said his phone got switched off. Kindly verify the location of his phone No. [protected] from 00.20 am to 00.50 am. Is this the way to keep on waiting the client at mid night. Then after half an hour my daughter booked other person o[censored]ber who reached there within 5 minutes. Kindly take action against this fellow.

                        Dear sir,
                        With emotional request, one of my old senior citizen couple relatives (77 years old) for travelling from vasai - west (100 feet road) to mulund - east

                        (Neelam nagar), we booked one uberx on 4th june 2017 at 6.10 pm with driver jitendra white swift dezire car no. 5054. We paid rs. 1000/- cash to driver as we don't want to pay by my senior relatives. They are old and retired and not having them any type of source of income. We wanted to help them for comfort travel with uber without any additional money burden to my relatives. But at the end of trip, your driver took additional rs. 943/- from them which we felt very bad and he played with our imotions. The said driver is not at all trustworthy. Also, we were checking/ monitoring the said trip with your app. But inbetween the said app was stopped. Then i got doubt and then i checked with my relatives and found driver has taken rs. 943/- additional amount from them.

                        We would like to request you to take necessary action against him and refund us rs. 1000/- excess taken by driver.

                        Also, we would like know what action you have taken against him.

                          Hi, this is to bring your kind notice that 22 may 2017 i have booked a cab through uber india. While i have doing my booking the total final amount of my trip was shown only 350-400 which would be charged from my location to my destination but unfortunately when i have completed my ride that time the uber cab driver was charged rs 831.

                          I believe, which is totally unacceptable for any customers, as generally all cab / taxi will charged between rs 300 - rs 400 but the uber people was cheated with the their customers at the time of booking they have been shown a amount which got changed after completing ride.

                          In this regards i have given lots of complaints to the uber indian customer service center but i am sorry to say that i have not not received any positive response at their end. Lastly i am totally frustrated and now i want justice in this regards, so that in future no one suffer / harassed like that.

                          Hence, request you kindly look into this matter and take a serious action in this regards..

                            I'm Ravi and my registered phone is [protected]. Today 5.6.2017 evening around 5.30 pm I booked uber pool from my place Velachery (Chennai) to Nanmangalam (Chennai). The amount shown was RS.70. On the way driver picked another lady (2 person) from Velachery Bhuvaneshwari Nagar and dropped her at ullagaram. She paid money through paytm. After he dropped me and to my surprise the amount shown in his instrument was Rs. 329. I refused and told him when I booked the amount shown was only 70. I can't give more than that. I also shown to him my booking in my phone in which the amount shown only 70. After that he called uber contact one lady spoke to him and to me. She informed that this is something software problem and please pay the amount.she assured on receipt of email from me the excess amount will be adjusted in my future rides. I want to why this is happened. In the reviews I saw similar complaints. Police should take action against this kind of cheat.

                              I have complaint for 2 trips. I had contacted customer care via app but they could not provide satisfactory solution.

                              1. While booking the estimated fare showed 98 but when i reached destination the bill was 12. What was the reason of overcharge if i didn't stop anywhere?
                              The solution provided stated that it was because of the route change, which i did not suggest. If there was a chance, the driver made it on his own accord. Why should i pay the difference?

                              2. I was charged rs.285 for a trip which showed rs.174 (Including extra charges). There was a little traffic but i dont think it should increase the bill by more than rs.100. I request for the detailed bill.

                              I use uber daily but stopped until my issues are addressed.

                              I have booked uber today for my wife from My office (TCS Kochi) to nearby location which will not cover even 3 kms. But usually the cost 80 to 90 RS. Today while booking it showed 165 RS but charged 235 RS after the ride. We will never use uber hereafter due to this reason, felt very bad. The uber no was KL 43 J 5968
                              I availed Uber car cab service from Vyalikaval to Vidyaranyapuram, by a Toyota Innova driven by a driver named Pradeepa. The said fare was Rs 388.82 and I was charged for it after the trip through PayTM.

                              The driver however demanded and took Rs 250 from my guests for whom I availed this cab service.

                                I would like to file a complain against one of your uber driver for telling me the wrong offer about the uber rides and charging me rs.1599 for the offer. He took the money in paytm account.

                                After taking the money he said, the offer would start after 2 hours and then left. After two when i tried to call him, he neither received the call nor called back for the same.

                                  I have taken ride for 15 km, but in bill they have showed 40 km and charged 890 instead of 218.

                                  Driver was very rude and not allowed passenger to pay the correct amount and didnot allowed to get down even.

                                  I have raised several complaints with uber through app but no resolution.

                                    Yesterday I travelled from Star Mall (Sector-30) Gurgaon to Sector-14 which is about 6-7 kms. Upfront price showed Rs. 68 and I booked the ride.

                                    However, after completion Rs. 521 was deducted from my paytm account.
                                    I have addressed the compliant couple of times now. But no resolution.

                                    I will file a customer complaint if the issue is not resolved. Uber i heard has the best customer service but this is really pathetic.

                                    Request you to please help and refund my remaining amount back to paytm.

                                    I am also attaching the screenshot o[censored]ber receipt. As you can see in the screenshot, its showing 38 kms in just 17 minutes. Actual distance travelled was just 6-7 kms.You can also check the initial and final location and make your calculations but I need my money at any cost ASAP.

                                      Today in morning I was trying to book uber pool so I added ₹350 to my paytm wallet linked with uber account. While confirming the order ₹350 has been deducted from the paytm wallet due to on hold order, then again I added ₹350 and tried to books the cab again. I face the same issue. So total I lost ₹700. Kindly refund the amount else I need to take strict action. Here I'm attaching the screenshot of deducted amount.

                                        I have booked uber on thursday, and i am a reular passenger of the travelled rotue . the fare normally comes to 125 rs aaprx.
                                        While booking also the d\fare was 122 rs approc, when i boarded the cab then driver said drop location is showing as same as pickup location, i have clearly selelcted the drop location, still it hva not accepted that a big ssyetm issue,
                                        Then after the travel was complet the billed thay have changed is 3 timess the normal fare, .
                                        After contact they are continusly saying that is the correct fare, route was taken different, you have chyanged drop location.

                                        Such a big time lier is the company is and so do the customer care executives.
                                        1. There fare is 3 times higger
                                        2. the route was exactly the same that was showing in the drivers GPS as he himself took me to the destination with out my guidance even, and i have seen the device screen while hes driving s its kept in the glass holder in fromt.
                                        3 its your system issue that even after slelting the drop location thay dont except it and there was no notifiication until i boarded the cab that system is haing an error of drop location.

                                        Its very clear from the trip history of mine thet its a clear cut cheating and i want the refund of the excess amount on immediat ebasis,
                                        Enough of you stories .
