Hi, this is to bring your kind notice that 22 may 2017 i have booked a cab through uber india. While i have doing my booking the total final amount of my trip was shown only 350-400 which would be charged from my location to my destination but unfortunately when i have completed my ride that time the uber cab driver was charged rs 831.

I believe, which is totally unacceptable for any customers, as generally all cab / taxi will charged between rs 300 - rs 400 but the uber people was cheated with the their customers at the time of booking they have been shown a amount which got changed after completing ride.

In this regards i have given lots of complaints to the uber indian customer service center but i am sorry to say that i have not not received any positive response at their end. Lastly i am totally frustrated and now i want justice in this regards, so that in future no one suffer / harassed like that.

Hence, request you kindly look into this matter and take a serious action in this regards..

    I'm Ravi and my registered phone is [protected]. Today 5.6.2017 evening around 5.30 pm I booked uber pool from my place Velachery (Chennai) to Nanmangalam (Chennai). The amount shown was RS.70. On the way driver picked another lady (2 person) from Velachery Bhuvaneshwari Nagar and dropped her at ullagaram. She paid money through paytm. After he dropped me and to my surprise the amount shown in his instrument was Rs. 329. I refused and told him when I booked the amount shown was only 70. I can't give more than that. I also shown to him my booking in my phone in which the amount shown only 70. After that he called uber contact one lady spoke to him and to me. She informed that this is something software problem and please pay the amount.she assured on receipt of email from me the excess amount will be adjusted in my future rides. I want to why this is happened. In the reviews I saw similar complaints. Police should take action against this kind of cheat.

      I have complaint for 2 trips. I had contacted customer care via app but they could not provide satisfactory solution.

      1. While booking the estimated fare showed 98 but when i reached destination the bill was 12. What was the reason of overcharge if i didn't stop anywhere?
      The solution provided stated that it was because of the route change, which i did not suggest. If there was a chance, the driver made it on his own accord. Why should i pay the difference?

      2. I was charged rs.285 for a trip which showed rs.174 (Including extra charges). There was a little traffic but i dont think it should increase the bill by more than rs.100. I request for the detailed bill.

      I use uber daily but stopped until my issues are addressed.

      I have booked uber today for my wife from My office (TCS Kochi) to nearby location which will not cover even 3 kms. But usually the cost 80 to 90 RS. Today while booking it showed 165 RS but charged 235 RS after the ride. We will never use uber hereafter due to this reason, felt very bad. The uber no was KL 43 J 5968
      I availed Uber car cab service from Vyalikaval to Vidyaranyapuram, by a Toyota Innova driven by a driver named Pradeepa. The said fare was Rs 388.82 and I was charged for it after the trip through PayTM.

      The driver however demanded and took Rs 250 from my guests for whom I availed this cab service.

        I would like to file a complain against one of your uber driver for telling me the wrong offer about the uber rides and charging me rs.1599 for the offer. He took the money in paytm account.

        After taking the money he said, the offer would start after 2 hours and then left. After two when i tried to call him, he neither received the call nor called back for the same.

          I have taken ride for 15 km, but in bill they have showed 40 km and charged 890 instead of 218.

          Driver was very rude and not allowed passenger to pay the correct amount and didnot allowed to get down even.

          I have raised several complaints with uber through app but no resolution.

            Yesterday I travelled from Star Mall (Sector-30) Gurgaon to Sector-14 which is about 6-7 kms. Upfront price showed Rs. 68 and I booked the ride.

            However, after completion Rs. 521 was deducted from my paytm account.
            I have addressed the compliant couple of times now. But no resolution.

            I will file a customer complaint if the issue is not resolved. Uber i heard has the best customer service but this is really pathetic.

            Request you to please help and refund my remaining amount back to paytm.

            I am also attaching the screenshot o[censored]ber receipt. As you can see in the screenshot, its showing 38 kms in just 17 minutes. Actual distance travelled was just 6-7 kms.You can also check the initial and final location and make your calculations but I need my money at any cost ASAP.

              Today in morning I was trying to book uber pool so I added ₹350 to my paytm wallet linked with uber account. While confirming the order ₹350 has been deducted from the paytm wallet due to on hold order, then again I added ₹350 and tried to books the cab again. I face the same issue. So total I lost ₹700. Kindly refund the amount else I need to take strict action. Here I'm attaching the screenshot of deducted amount.

                I have booked uber on thursday, and i am a reular passenger of the travelled rotue . the fare normally comes to 125 rs aaprx.
                While booking also the d\fare was 122 rs approc, when i boarded the cab then driver said drop location is showing as same as pickup location, i have clearly selelcted the drop location, still it hva not accepted that a big ssyetm issue,
                Then after the travel was complet the billed thay have changed is 3 timess the normal fare, .
                After contact they are continusly saying that is the correct fare, route was taken different, you have chyanged drop location.

                Such a big time lier is the company is and so do the customer care executives.
                1. There fare is 3 times higger
                2. the route was exactly the same that was showing in the drivers GPS as he himself took me to the destination with out my guidance even, and i have seen the device screen while hes driving s its kept in the glass holder in fromt.
                3 its your system issue that even after slelting the drop location thay dont except it and there was no notifiication until i boarded the cab that system is haing an error of drop location.

                Its very clear from the trip history of mine thet its a clear cut cheating and i want the refund of the excess amount on immediat ebasis,
                Enough of you stories .

                  I have been charged 192.29 (Pending fare to be which was paid cash for my 30th may 2017 ride) + 344.13 (For today's fare, 5june 2017). So last ride of 30th may 2017 deducted twice fare by my side cash + paytm.

                    Driver named Dharmedra with Maruti Suzuki SX4 GJ18AZ3346 refused to go on trip after booking is confirmed shows in my app, it also showed that your cab will arrive in 6 min after couple of minutes he called and told that he is going home and can not come to destination, when I told him that I complain about his behavior he proudly said that Uber will not take your complain at first stage that he is not bothered about that go ahead and do it...is this some kind of setting that uber will not take complain and drivers can do whatever they do, really need to change lots of things in app, after listening him I had to cancel my trip, I think it is time to change from uber to some other cab services but guess what uber doesn't care...lol

                      Today (4.6.17) morning around 8:30 am i booked a cab (No. Wb07j4172) from sealdah station while returning from a trip with my family along with two small children and some luggage.. At first the driver said to wait near parking area. We reached their... After some quarrel with the parking area guard to avoid parking area he was forced to enter in the area and asked us to wait near exit... After waiting for 10 mins when he didn't show up i called him and found he cancelled our booking without any reason... When i said i'll complain against him to the uber he roughly said that he is not bothered about it... If no action is taken regarding my complain i'll not ride in any cab o[censored]ber anymore and also suggest others to do that...

                      I booked an uber ride and I got the driver details ( driver name : SHANATOSH KUMAR) in coimbatore . He forced me to cancel the request for the trip. As I was in a hurry I booked another trip with different driver. But cancellation charges on me. I paid for drivers request. Kindly do something for this issue..

                        I booked Uber cab from Sarita vihar to CP (barakhamba road) and earlier it was showing me 184-186 rs but when I finally booked it showed me 416 and since I was in hurry for my visa appointment so I booked the cab and reached. Once I was free from all my visa obligation I reviewed the charges and found that 200rs were charged as Tolls, Surcharges, and Fees and was shocked to see this. How come a local trip within delhi can attract Tolls, Surcharges, and Fees.

                        I tried contact Uber support thru their App but failed to make them understand that it was local trip. Team is so illiterate that they don't understand and simple reply in a standard format provided by the company.

                          This is regarding an incident on Friday night (02.06.2017) at 10:38 PM near ITPL on the main road. I was on bike going towards Hope Farm. Suddenly this cab driver came rashing from behind overtook me in such a manner that he almost would have hit me dragging me towards the divider. I stopped him and had a little exchange of words with that driver and found out that he was drunk and not in his senses. That guy was also in a trip and one customer was sitting behind.
                          Hence, I would like the UBER officials to take strict action against this driver as his driving may have led to sever accident that day. I am also going to lodge an FIR against him. However I want the company to take action and maintain its fame.

                            On 22nd may i had booked uber toyotoa etios around 5.30a. M. From anna nagar east chennai to go to chennai central railway station. The driver took more than the requisite time mentioned and therefore i had booked ola cab and it the car number and driver mentioned in ola is similar. So when he arrived i asked him and he rudely asked me to cancel both the cab booking as he had another customer in waiting. I had many difficulty and missed my train.

                            Kindly take serious action on driver senthil kumar.

                              I have been charged 156.29 ( pending fare to be paid for my 29th May ride ) + 154.60 ( for today's fare), however, i have paid INR 347 ( 191 ( actual fare)+ 156 (29th pending fare) for my 29th evening ride.                                 Dear sir or madam,

                                I've already tried to reach you through using the uber website two
                                Times, but didn't get any response so far. On may 13, 2017 7:32 pm i
                                Used uber pool in delhi. The driver wanted
                                To pick up someone else and was driving around for more than 10 mins
                                (Check with gps data please!!!), but he didn't show up.

                                In the end i was charged 216, 75 inr, which is a lot more than the
                                Guaranteed fee i was shown before i took the uber pool ride of around 80
                                Inr. Please refund the overcharged amount asap.

                                  I am a frequent uber traveller, this is the second time that the uber has charged me 60 rs for the fault of your driver. You haven't reimbursed me my last times amount. How dare you?

                                  I booked uber at around 2100 hrs and the cost was rs585/- toyota etios name of the driver pappu. I was with my dad a sr. Citizen and it was raining. When i called him, he tells me that he doesn't not have enough gas to travel to thane. And on top of that he was not ready to cancel the trip for me to book another time.

                                  By the time he xxld the rates went up to 800. I booked an ola and you charged me. Pls credit me 120 plus additional rs.450 caused i had to pay the hikes fare on ola.

                                    Today morning i booked uber cab and call up driver for the confirmation then he said that he is coming in 8 mins... I have been waiting till that mins and when the route map said that its coming in 1 mins then again i called up and asked him where exactly he is then he said he will be not able to served the service... He spoiled my 10 mins in waiting and last he denied to serve and not ready to cancel the booking... Ultimately i have to cancelled the booking because i was late for my office. Then i received a sms from the uber that i have been charged 63 rupees for cancellation. This is really unprofessional to charged the customer...in the entire story who suffer only i as a customer.

                                      Dear sir, At 0745 hrs on 3.6.17 Uber taxi driver Mr. Hitesh, Mobile no. [protected] charged RS. 800/_ from my daughter for journey from jalvayu defence Enclave, phase 1, sector 20, kharghar to international airport terminal next to vile parle. As reported by my daughter that taxi GPRS wasn't working, driver had no knowledge of road route, was guided and reached late, on arrival he rudely argued and collected RS. 800/_ against RS.500.00 approx. Caused a lot of inconvenience to my daughter with small children. Request immediate refund of RS. 300/_ and RS.1000/_ as a fine be paid to me.

                                        I have been wrongly charged by uber twice.
                                        1. Trip fare=rs.185, sub total=rs.185 total=rs.185 but rs.580 charged from paytm wallet. Date 13.05.17.

                                        2. I don't order/book any cab but rs.299 charged from my paytm wallet. Date 24.05.17.
                                        The snapshot is attached for referrence. This is really disappointing that uber don't have any customer care no. Please help as i don't have any other way to complaint.
