They have been sending promotional messages in Ahmedabad as "Dear Rider, this week all under rides will be Flat Rs.499 upto 8 kms and capped at Rs.99 upto 15 kms in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. No promo code needed. Beat the heat and simple#UberOn"

However, this is fake and this promo code never works. My distance is less than 3 kms and I'm charged 99 for that. When asked to the Uber help team to refund the excess since there's a promotion going on in Ahmedabad- they refuse to do so.

My suggestion is that i[censored]BER doesn't want the promo code to work, they should stop sending wrong promotional messages and stop misguiding the customers. It's not lawful.

I booked one cab at 1 pm but the driver did not know the location till 1/2 hour I let him try to understand my location but he didn't know the Calcutta high court after a long time I canceled the booking but u charged for the said cancellation rs 60 for a foult made by your man
So please look into the matter immediately
I have traveled from electronic city to Silk board in Bangalore on 14/01/2016, for that i have paid through cash payment completely but still it is showing payment pending .

Please clear that outstanding from my account for the future use of my account.

Do something about your promo codes...I get lot of promo codes like 50% off or 33% off but whenever I apply that so called promo it always shows like "Promo codes are not valid for this account all trips will be charged fully" I really want to know what is the problem and moreover if I try to mail you, you people send a mail in response that sorry this mail do not accept incoming mails and there is no other mail available with you I guess which accepts customer mails. Kindly sort out this problem otherwise I am really fed up with uber.
Yes, they do false advertising. They randomly select some people and disable promo code.
I tried help section o[censored]ber eats/promotion, they are telling that ‘I have violated the fraud policy’, not even once the promo applied.
I can’t to follow up question in this question so I have to raise a question in different section. They will the issue as resolved without confirming with you.
I am totally fine with them not giving promo code, but fake promo codes are not tolerated.
Uber can’t fool us. Though they are expert in fooling. They tried to fool Apple Inc. once and got caught. LOL.

    I want to explanation how this amount come. I did regular travel for this location from UBER and change 30 Rs to 74 Rs.

      Discussed why charged more. You additional charges shown. Same time uber driver automatically cancelled trip without any call.

        You charged me for the trip cancelled by the driver and i was kept waiting for more than 30 minutes.

        I had to book a second cab and could understand that i need to pay for the cancelled trip by the driver!

        I must not pay the charge for cancelled trip. Your driver never turned up. Neither i cancelled the trip. Waited nearly half an hour and then booked another trip.

        You must not charge for someone elses misdoing! This can be termed as. Cheating!

        I have been using uber for more than a year now and this is the first time i had this kind of experience!

        Really aghast!!

          I am a regular customer. I have come through many issues.
          Uber switch the drivers suddenly in middle if the booking. After this happens tat was some where around 13 minutes. It wasted my time and when cab was about to arrive like just five minutes away, i called the driver and he said something and cut the call in between of the conversation. When i tried again he did not pick my call. Stupid fellow did not have courage to admit his mistake or say no. Driver had cancelled the cab. It just wasted my time. It has happened many times that drivers are nuts and this will be posted by me on every social media platform.

            Today morning at 8:30 a. M. I had booked a uber car from pratap tower, thane to international airport. I had paid the same before journey through credit card. But however within 2 mins i was surprised to get a rs. 60 debit to by credit card without reason. Needless to mention i did not get any confirmation / driver details for this booking.

            Since, i was getting late for the airport i had to book uber hire from the same spot. You may check the records.

            Please arrange to immediately credit rs. 60 which is erroneously debited to my credit card

              I was traveling in uber cab from sector 71 to a-26, sector 62 and left cab at 1:45 (Approximately) pm. After leaving cab suddenly i realize i forget my moblie in cab then i called on my number ([protected]) after 2 min at 1:47 pm (Approximately) and my phone was ringing. I triad again and again it was ringing but no one was receiving my call. Then again i tried to call at 1:56 pm it got switched off.
              As i confirmed with uber office (B-122, sector 67, noida) cab next pick up was at 1:59 pm, it means my mobile got switched off before next pick up. Kinldy help and check this concern with cab driver and take necessary action on him.

                Had booked a cab at 12.25pm from hinjewadi phase1. Driver told he would be arriving in 2mins as he was at Hotel Lemon Tree. It's 1.15pm and the cab has not yet arrived. If i cancel this, i will be charged for the cancellation without being my fault. His number is switched off and neither he called back. Vehicle number is MH 14 FC 0459. Please suggest me as to what needs to be done here.

                  We booked car from annanagar to kottur yesterday, the driver went in a wrong route, and cancelled the cab. But we were charged rs. 50 for cancellation. It is not our mistake. We were waiting for him. We only make cash payment. Pls do the needful. And another complaints when I book the cab from kottur to annanagar it showed rs. 230 but while dropping it showed rs.260.

                  Last night I booked ur cab and at the time of booking the amount was 160Rs but when I reached at my destination the amount he charged was around 601Rs.which is not a joke .i travelled maximum 9-10 kms.i want refund my overcharged money .very disappointed because of your service.

                    We usually book Uber AC cabs for our comfortable journey.
                    Yesterday i.e. on Sunday 21st May 2017, I booked a cab for travelling from Pune Station to Wagholi at 10 am. The cab was in a bad condition and it's AC was not working. When I told the Driver "Vishnu" to repair the same, he simply argued saying "Sir, Abhi to chal raha tha". But I am sure he is simply continuing his Cab service without AC for a long time.
                    Anyway, I am lodging this as an serious complaint.

                    Today both while going to Bhayander and coming back home from Bhayander the AC in the cab was not working. We pay for a comfortable journey and this was denied to us. Please look into the matter.

                      I have booked a cab from Nanakramguda to secunderabad railway station. I have already paid fare of 489.33 through paytm and received message saying it has been paid successfully. But the driver charged 1012 Rs at the secunderabad railway station. My father has given a police complaint already. Now the driver is calling and asking me to pay Rs1012/- completely. This is unfare and I am going to escalate to higher authority and request all the indians not to book uber in near future. They are simplying robbing money from the customer.

                        On returning back to delhi, we came across an uber cab who all of a sudden stopped in the mid way and came over fighting and screaming about the way we were driving..
                        He looked out of senses... We were a family together and so everybody talked very politely to him but he being a so called driver had no courtesy and started abusing with no reasons.
                        If such is a behavior of your drivers, do you even realize how bad your company is reputed.

                        My sister was travelling back home and lost her phone in the cab. The driver who doesn't speak English promised to come back by 11pm and refund it (neighbors speaking with him). It's been two days and he s still not picking calls. The app is not really helping...

                          Yesterday 20th may, 2017, I booked Uber Pool fro rs 49 from Golf Course Noida to Sector 46, Noida. But after drop, they automatically update it to Uber go and cut 94 rs from wallet. I raised a complaint against Uber in their app but they refused to correct it and refund the extra amount charged. This is clear theft and action should be taken care against them.

                            I booked a uber cab for a friend visiting me from germany from defence colony at 11 pm for indira gandhi international airport. The uber showed a charge of rs. 223 and arrival time of 11.37 pm. I gave my friend rs. 250 (Indian currnecy) to pay to taxi.in addtion i also gave rs. 100 for any eventuality.
                            The driver name is ashok.
                            He kept on going around delhi. Every time i checked about his location he informed he is about to reach. Finally he reached indira gandhi international airport at 12.43. There was no traffic on the way anywhere.
                            There he demanded the bill of rs.499 and called me to pay by paytm which i refused. He finally took rs. 350 from my friend.
                            I am at a loss how could the fair of rs. 223 got increased to rs. 499. The right time increase from 34 minutes to 1 hours 40 minutes.
                            My friend could have missed his international flight which would have hurt him as well as brought bad name to uber and the country.

                              Hi, I am so so sooo disappointed with Bangalore Uber.
                              I booked 2 uber cabs this morning for my drop to the bangalore city railway station and both the drivers cancelled after they asked for my destination! I lost 20 precious minutes and had to rush in a private cab for ₹1100 to the station to board my train :((.
                              Why am I being charged ₹28 and my paytm was charged ₹7.41 too on top of all I went through! Very very unprofessional behaviour by your drivers, sorry to say and please refund my money.
                              During my stay in the city, my travel with uber was disappointing as well. Next time I am in Bangalore city am gonna try my best to look for an alternative and avoid Uber.
                              You disappointed me big time!

                                Few days Ago. I was leaving for kolkata. Me and my dad booked a cab for 2. On the way to Bangalore railway station. Middle of the way the driver says we booked can only for 2 in uber share. I remember clearly. There were 2 options. One said 129 rupees for 1 person. Second option was 142rs for 2 people. Even after I booked it was 142. And when I tried to contact customer care. First the driver refused to give us the customer care number, second we couldn't even find the number online. Uber?! Do you even have a customer care number? We had to take an auto later and we were running late. My contact number [protected].

                                  On sunday may14, 2017 i booked an uber cab from carmelram road for airport drop. The app showed me estimated fare of rs.750-1000. 5 mins before my pickup, i got a msg, that surge fare of 2x will apply. It was too late to call any other cab. I finally paid rs.1750 for airport drop - double o[censored]sual, that too at a non peak hour!!

                                  This is a sharp and fraudulent practice to double fares at the last moment for airport drops - when the passenger has no other option. That too, the cab trunk had remains of vegetables carried earlier and the cab was very dirty inside.

                                  I think a global company like uber should not resort to these methods to cheat customers.

                                  I want a refund.

                                  I had booked from Bramha Sun city Vadgaonsheri to Bombay Garage which costs 169.50 bt Uber Driver charged me 359 ...bt I told this is more than what I spent usual..i was shown system which was I stalled in car showing the amt 359.50

                                    My account has been reset by uber and i cannot access my account. All my previous rides are not displaying. I had once raised a complaint regarding a driver who was drunk and driving. He did not raise his speed more than 30 and was very rude to us as well. I had raised a refund request also, after which the other day my account was reset because i had re-installed the app which did not show the previous ride history. However, i had used the same mobile number through which i had registered earlier. I beg you people, please help me in this regard and at least get me some compensation which i rightly deserve. Please help me...

                                      I had booked an Uber from Sumati Hotel to Beverly Hills - at Baner Pune through my wife's mobile. Now while paying with cash the driver took an additional Rs 120 as it showed pending payment on his mobile on our previous ride. Since he didn't have cash on his mobile to make a call he was given the phone - he marked himself 5 star and took the amount for the previous ride...failing which he says he will face the loss. Uber...apart from money... loss of trust...and time...these are something you cannot get back. Please be professional and do the needful immediately..

                                        I am Priyanka Sarmah, a frequent uber user. But today I am very disappointed with one of your driver's behaviour.
