Yesterday I took an uber pool ride, the upfront fare was Rs 29, but I have been charged Rs 181.88. This is wrong. There was no change in my pick-up or dropoff points. I have compained in my uber app, but yet have not recieved any refund. I want my money back as soon as possible.

Moreover, for last one month or so, this is the third time such incidence happened. I suspect uber has intentionally created a buggy app, so if people do not notice after the ride, they can just get away with extra money. I think there should be legal actions against uber for cheating customers, or at least investigation and they should provide compensation to their customers.

    Today morning i booked a ride...
    From (26.164171, 91.718591) to (26.159526, 91.774325)
    My fare was 161.85 with a total distance of 9 to 10 kms.
    But after i ended my trip, it was showing 546.15/-, and i was forced to pay the amount and i paid in cash, even though i argued... But instead, he told me to lodge a complain

    I want my money back... The extra i've paid for, i. E., rs. 384.3/- and i want an explaination, a logical one...!!!

      I hired a uber cab on 14.05.2017 08.30am
      From my residence 152/35 mansarovar jaipur to my relative galata gate jaipur
      It took long rout & for 17 km charged rs 196/-
      I usually use my car and found that 17 km far it destination
      By messages uber me offered discount rs 75/- for my first trip
      But it take charges than usual

        Dear uber team,

        I have major concern about today drive with uber lucknow, your are deputing auto driver and they are serving uber cab service to uber auto service.
        • attached screen shot of tripe driver is using tabcoo/gutka in the time of entire driving.
        • he is using full time loud music with cheap time songs, after several time request they reduce the sound but not stop to playing it.
        • i was booked cab for single use but in next to driver sheet one pool cab passenger also sitting pickup time and till driving time.
        • he is driving car as auto (Tempo) and god thanks 2 times our vehicle very near to accident.
        • his dress, nails and hair showing as loofer not as driver.
        • his vehicle in inner site very dirty.

        Very disappointing services of lucknow uber team, let me know in-case of any misshaping done with me who was responsive.
        Concert solution any reply required otherwise, i will go consumer court against your service in lucknow also meet with r. T. O lucknow with attached small video and hardcopy of mail.

          I downloaded the Uber app and tried to register for the service. unfortunately, my account was suspended and I was not bale to login. I have not availed a single service using the app till day. When I sent them an email requesting for help, they informed that the account is suspended by undisclosed reason. I have been sending them an email but no valid reason is provided and my account still remains suspended. I already have my adhar card details and phone number details as they asked to submit it to open the account. My fear is they may misuse the personal details as they are not providing any valid reason to cancel my account. I need help investigating the issue and to know why the account was suspended in the first place. I am not entitled for the service as long as Uber feels without providing the reason. I can share the email communication with their help department, if needed.

            I am writing this to report one of a very serious unethical practices that is being followed by uber drivers here for which the passengers are having to pay. I am a regular customer o[censored]ber and i had faced this issue earlier as well. Below is another instance of the same.

            I had booked an uber cab under uber pass from opposite to city center 2 (My residence) to my office which is at unitech building. I had paid for the trip using paytm as it was an uber pass the price was fixed with no surge price as inr 149. However after i had boarded off from the cab the driver didn't end the trip instead went on further to a different place by onboarding some different passengers thus extending the trip in my name. As a result the trip fare increased to inr 463.84 and also with a surge price. The driver thus pockets the entire previously agreed fare with the new passenger whereas the newly created surged price gets charged under my name.

            I want to escalate this to the highest levels of the uber management as i am extremely dissatisfied by this unethical practice which is being constantly ignored by uber. I also demand the refund of the extra fare above what i had originally paid. I strongly urge the uber to take some proactive steps in making sure that the drivers don't take undue advantage for which the customers have to pay.

              I booked an Uber Tata Indigo and the vehicle number was 5000. The Driver Jitendra, deliberately took the longest route possible to overcharge while my sister was travelling alone in the car. I kept calling him whenever he used to take a wrong turn and he still had the audacity of continuing with that. He blamed my sister for the wrong route.

              When I called him again, he was rude and said that "do whatever you want to do" and many other things.

              Please do not keep such drivers in Uber, if you want to successfully run this company. I am going to stop using Uber, the local rickshaw is much better than this treatment. After the incident when I talked with my colleagues, they agreed that Uber's service has declined and that they have stopped using Uber since long.

              And now, there is one less customer for Uber.

                As a uber user i booked a cab on 31 may 2017 at 6:01 at the location oberio mall goregaon car number mh 04 1799 and as a usually i wanted to go a hotel in parle but the hotel location wasn't displayed so i used the lane hanuman road and the driver came and i said to take a right as i was comfortable with that route and sure about it but the driver started aruging as the location is this were are you taking me i will follow this route in a bad tone and that was rude like anything i was with a girl that's the reason i paid the money or else that driver would had it because i use uber frequently i always use the lane hanuman road the driver was shouting me that i won't go further you get down here. I mean how can i get down in middle of the road with a girl, i said him with a good tone please leave me ahead but his tone was like i am not going further then he anyhow said okay then he started shouting me i mean i am your consumer then i said in a bad tone so he was like don't show me your attitude and said will drop you now only and then when the payment process he also argued with me saying "you don't know anything about the location i won't had left you and then my argument limit was crossed because i am paying you!! Don't we have"options available "!? You are not giving me the service and expecting that i should pay the money. I said i won't pay the driver came out tried to hit me what if something would happen to my health is uber responsible?!

                Is this the driver we expect the reason because there was a girl i didn't said anything and gave the money but this such a dissatisfaction with uber first i need the refund reason if your not giving the service why would i spend money. Service which i didn't get which should me given. Then the driver should me suspended because if your consumers are not satisfied who will the select you as a option my👎🏻 to contact me number[protected] alternative number [protected]

                  Today we booked a uber taxi from jagran lakecity bhopal. Your taxi driver collected we three people from there. His mobile network wasnt active for which he twiced stopped the cab. For which we requested him to hurry up polietly he replied very rudely didnt speak to my cousin mannerly for which when i interupted he misbehaved with us especially me being a female he left us in tje bridge from where 12 kms there isnt a single vehicle we walked alll the half way in sun and had taken a lift.                     Uber cab ride was buked around 7.14 pm or so on 1st june 2017. The driver came. We drove abot 2kms. His ride got cancelled from call center. V were in a hurry to reach our destination and had no other alternative but to get down and take a different ride. The driver was gud. But the call center guy spoke absurdly. Instead of providing solution he kept us engagee in a meaning less conversation. Asked us to write email. But is this the way to provide service. Luckily we were a couple. If its a lady alone, how to manage wth luggage and no other help in middle of road wth no power on streets? What if our flight tuk off

                      Today i.e 01.06.2017 I booked uber from Kalyan to mulund at 2.25 pm. I got a contact no of Driver Sunil having vehicle Hyundai Xcent. At 2.35 pm when vehicle came he asked destination when he listen that I want to go to Kalyan he refused for trip saying i don't get trip from Kalyan and he go away. After 6 minutes at 2.41 pm message came on my mobile that I have charged for Rs.108.82 for a trip of 2.19 km that I can not take.

                        There was a ride on this week monday which was 29th may 2017.. My father was supposed to pay 60 rupees from hos pocket due to some reasons. Uber gave the option that it would be deducted from the next trip taken. My father got a special uber pass option where said that any ride within 10 km in kolkata would be 149 rupees valid till 4th june 2017. Today was the next trip. When booked a car today which is 1st june 2017, the amount showed 149 and with the payment cash option said that has to pay 60 rupees. Hence when the trip got completed showed onsystem to pay rs 252. Why will uber charge 252 where he has to pay 149+60 which should be 209 today. The uber app is constantly showing the mesg for payment where he has already paid today. Why is the message still showing again and again and why did he had to pay extra rupees. Explain and refund money quick.

                          Sir the driver asked for payment for paid rides which was take by my 75 year old parents. This happened twice rs.49and 125.51 was paid by them for two different rides and when i complained with uber they refused to return the amt. When u complete a ride they get msg abt paid rides but despite knowing this they took money from them saying payment nahi hua. Please help me in getting my money back

                            Today i have booked one uber from moshi to dapodi in pune while bokking the extimate fare was showing as 122 aprpox, then a big car came all of a sudded and after the trip was finished they changed me 3 times approximately.
                            There is no proper contact detaisl to contact custoemr care.

                            I want an immediate refund of the extra amount they have changed.

                            no action was taken and the simply closed the call and denied thir system faul, Simpl, y cheating the custoemr with 3 times normal fare . They are showing one fare while booking after the trip end they r charging 3 times that fare and after contating they are saying thet is the correct fare, I have been trvaling since last 3 month from this lcoation and drop at same location its the fare ma to ma its 124 rs then hav taken 3 times that fare . I want the refund of the excess amount please take immediate action to stop this cheater .

                            The issue is not resolved, bunch of liers are there, they have been sending message in gmail thet the route was showing different . Its a complete lie and the route was exctly the correct one and that is the only route for that destination. they are adding pints now that demand was there, if there is demand the pop up msg was showing as fare wil be high thre was no such thing. simply and clean robbery .

                            i want an immediate refund of the exces amnt.

                            The service provides is a big time cheater ancd chaged 3 times the normal fare . the normal fare was approx 122 rs then have chaged 3 times that fare. After the completion fo the trip th it took 3 times cha g from me trhough PAYTM .Now after contacting them then r simply denying the fact and finding out basless excuses not to refund the excess change .
                            . Even they are not ready to except they have a system issue .
                            I want an immeditte refund of the excess amount .

                              Uber is directly charging the fares of the rides without showing the consumer how the fares are being calculated (Kilometer wise). They put a surge on the prices whenever they want without informing the consumer that how much surge is there at that time (Like 2x, 2.7x etc.). They are disobeying basic consumer service rights by charging indian consumers anything they want without their knowledge.

                              Today 26 May 2017, Uber Driver for vehicle number WB07J-2446 was driving the car like anything and pushed my car from back side and behave like anything. He was trying to kill me. I never expect this from a Uber driver.

                                A driver in chandigarh molested me while i was driving with him. He wanted to get my phone number and was talking strangely. And when i gave him money, he held my hand and didn't let go. I somehow took my hand away...and sprinted back to my house.

                                  Just before few minutes i booked uber from my residence to kalupur railway station. My phone shows still rs.99.00 while driver phone shows rs.248.00. He claimthe same and we paid it which is rs.148.00 more than what it should! He says it was pending from your side... While my total history with uber does not shows any pending amount or any trip amount rs.148/- which was claimed from me...
                                  Clarify this and refund the extra amount charged to me...

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I am one of your regular customer but lately getting disillusioned about the service efficiency you were providing to your customers. Hence, I am being forced to think twice before booking a Uber Cab.

                                    The reason being I had taken a trip from my house at 4th sector HSR Layout to Mountcarmel college in Vasanthnagar. For a distance of around 12 km I was shown Rs 165 while booking. Upon completion of trip without any deviation in route shown by you I was charged Rs 265 to my paytm account and your bill showed 21.4 km.

                                    This is higly misleading and unacceptable. Through your help section I immediately complained and asked for a refund of excess amount. No response from your help section till now and even after several reminders.

                                    With this I am forced to stop booking Uber cabs from 15th May till I get justice.
                                    I am attaching herewith the screen shots about the facts of the trip for your perusal.

                                    I trust you will do the needful soon in this matter to retain our mutual trust.

                                      I booked an uber in kolkata from bhagajatin to salt lake on 31 may 2017. The estimated fare showed by the app was 189 but the driver charged 307. The driver showed us the distance to be 21km but actually it is merely 12 to 13 km. Please do take necessary action and refund the balance amount as soon as possible. My name is salini.                                         I booked my uber 3 times one after the other from RGIA, shamshabad. The 3 drivers asked me about my drop location and told me to cancel, if I wouldn't do it, they would cancel. Uber rides from the airport are completely useless!
                                        I strongly feel that they should be charged with fine. The driver is so rash that he wants to know my drop off location and tells me it's not possible for him to come. And let me tell you, the fare was 600 rupees.
                                        Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
