I have the UBER app installed on my OnePlus One Cyanogen phone and while it has worked perfectly until now, it abruptly stopped a couple of days ago. I have made an official complaint through the proper format but there has been no response from the company.

I am unable to get to the screen where the trip can be planned. It stops with showing the map of the whole world but does not get into the functions

The payment details, Trip details, etc are all missing

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache but nothing works. The app remains stuck on the global screen - not able to book cars

I have reverted saying this is not sufficient answer !!!
Unable to use the given promo code while travelling by Uber services. For past two days I have raised complain but no one is responding. Promo code BBSRHOT75 to get 75 % off on travel.

    I have every ride to cancel a trip where ur driver is completing a trip and would take him more then 20 or more minutes to reach me... Infact ur driver should not hv accepted the trip in the first place.. After which he refuses to cancel the trip from his end when he knows it would atleast take him half and hour to reach... Also when we cancel the trip why does it not give an option why we hv cancelled the trip... U please refund the cancellation amount back.
    This is my 11th may 2017 thrusday evening cancelled trip plz look in an refund the needful.

    I took a ride to Bangalore airport and my driver showed me his phone screen which showed 588 rupees and i paid him as there was no reason to doubt. later when i checked the app i realised that the amount of 547 rupees had already been deducted from my paytm account. at that moment i realised that the driver conned me.

      I got the following SMS on 08/05/2017:
      Dear Rider, ease into the week with uberPOOL rides at Rs 49 flat upto 8 kms in Mumbai. Save more & get there comfortably, no matter where you're going! TCA.
      My house comes in the radius of less than 8 km. While trying to book Uber in the evenings and today morning, I got the fares as high as Rs. 172/-!!
      Why is such wrong information provided? Is it some kind of marketing gimmick to hook the customers??
      It is a large disappointment to see that the fares sore high and a standard line saying "increase in fare due to increased demand" flashes!!!
      Doesn't this mean that customers are misguided??
      I[censored]ber is going to cost more than a auto-rickshaw, why would any common man even try it out??

        On 9th may at 6pm i booked uber - the price showed rs.236. Post which i confirmed the booking (Maruti suzuki swift). On reaching the destination the fare showed rs.302. The driver was good but i was cheated on the fare by uber.
        Also the distance from andheri east to shiv sena bhawan showed 20 kms one way. This is ridiculous. I sent feedback to uber and hoped they would respond and deduct in next trip. Am awaiting feedback

        On 7 may I took only 3 rides they charged me of 5 rides
        And without informing me they deducted the amount from my paytm balance.
        I just want to ask how can they acces to my paytm wallet without my permission!!!

        These days ..the farss are showing double of how much i used to pay a month back for non peak hrs and same destination...are consumers prey for all the fight that uber n drivers are having????they r making us fool s..all [censored]s shud stop takung these blooody taxis fr a week sothat thry come to normal again

          I hired uber from Kasba to Amarpally dumdum on 14.04.17, though I paid the full fare of 270/- in cash to the driver but whenever I was going to book next ride, message was given that the fare of my last ride is pending. On 08.05.17 I booked Uber and went to saltlake Union Bank Of India from Nager bazar. Very surprisingly the last fare of Rs 270 which I already paid was deducted along with the fare from nagerbazar to saltlake, made total bill 717/-
          I deeply express my grievence. Please redress immidiately

            Dear sir,
            I have certain grievances regarding your cab service that I experienced when I travelled to Delhi on the 7th of May 2017.
            # When I booked a cab from Uber Delhi on my arrival, it said 11 mins followed by another message delaying it by further 2 mins. I.e. 13 mins. Since it was too hot to step out of the airport, we stay put inside and to have a seat, I purchased a costa coffee for Rs.330/- in order to have a seat in their shop. To my dismay, just as I finalised my order, your driver announces his arrival i.e. In the next 2 mins ... Now, do you understand that due to the false notification, I spent Res 330/- which was not required if we were informed of the correct status of our cab.
            # The ride from uber taxi to the function for which we had travelled to Delhi was superb. The taxi arrived dot on time and the driver karamveer Singh is a very friendly, polite and respectful driver . I give him 5 stars. The ride back to hotel after the function was also good. We rated the driver with 5 star.
            # Next day was our flight back. The reporting time was 9.25am and our flight was at 10.25 to Indore by Jet airways . We received message from the airlines that as it would take around 20 mins walking to reach the gates we could as Well reach earlier. We booked our cab from uber and received message that the driver would be reaching in 2 mins. We kept on waiting and for next nine mins.the driver never arrived. When we spoke to him he said he was still 2 mins. away. By this time panic set in as the clock was ticking by and it was already 9.15 am and we could miss our flight back. So we cancelled this ride and booked another cab and reached the airport by nick of time. How we have sprinted at this age of 60 and 62 to reach our gate which was announcing our names as final call . Do you realise that a little delay could have cost us 11500/- if we had missed our flight. Your fare charged us 250/- on our way back compared to 97/- from airport to hotel. How can you have 2 fares for the same distance and same time taken. Then you charged us for the fare which we cancelled. Please note that since the driver kept us assuring of his arrival that we kept on waiting .We had to cancel only because of the delay it was causing us to start from our hotel to reach airport on time. The money involved is not so big but the harassment is and we feel cheated for unfair charging of fares.

            You should realise that the cabs are booked on trust that we would reach our destination on time. Especially when one has to catch a flight, a bus or a train, the time punctuality is of essence, I hope your company realises that too.So please practise your professionalism before you preach in ads for marketing... Totally disgusted and disappointed by your service... Hope you improve and don't give another chance to somebody else to complain in future for the same reasons.

                I am regular uber customer, facing issues in bangalore city during night time, deivers not coming for pickup even after aceepting the rides.
                Yesterday night at approx 3 am i have booked one ride, driver accepted trip, he didn't even turned up, not responded to my call, he has not cancelled trip till 6 am, at morning 6 am himself he started trip without coming to my pickup point. Fonally i could contact emergency help centre to cancel that trip. This type of incidents repeatedly happening, taken uber service to worst condition.No helpdesk in india to get support for this type of issues
                I am decided not to book any rides in uber now onwards.

                  We'll connect another time, Murli
                  I booked the pool car but driver was not able to locate moolchand hospital main gate and took lot of time around 20-25 minutes than he said that to cancel it.
                  But I am surprised that Rs. 63.60 is debited to my Acct without me even using the cab and cab cancelled not due to my fault.
                  Hence, would request you to reimburse Rs. 63.60 charged to me yesterday i.e. 8th May, 2017

                    Today, I booked a cab from mohali 68 sector to phase 10 mohali. I pinned up my exact location. The driver didn't turned up for about 15 minutes. Then finally he said he couldn't find me and he himself cancelled my booking and was very rude. This wasn't the first time i had booked cab from the same location. All my experiences were great with uber. But, today it was a bad one.

                    My question is, If a person dosen't know about locations why is Uber hiring him as a driver ??

                      I had booked uber cab today for my father, mother and kid to travel from Gerugambakkam, Porur, Chennai to British Council, Chennai. The driver did not turn up on time even though he was near our location long time. When my father reached after walking 1km, he behaved very rude to my father using filthy words. I was charged cancellation charges. The following were the impacts on my side:
                      a. My parents 70 year old were made to walk more than a km in hot conditions
                      b. My son was late for his class by 15 minutes because of this issue
                      c. When my father contacted the driver, he used filthy words and asked my father not to get inside the car and drove away
                      d. They had to pay extra charges of Rs. 50/- because of mistake from their side
                      e. I had to come out of my meetings very frequently to sort out this issue.

                      Kindly take necessary action on the personnel.

                        I am concerned to note that when they are not looking after the complaints, they could have informed me to which mail ID I have to forward or they could have forwarded the same to you under intimation. I am sorry to inform you the status of the service rendered in this regard.

                        As regards driver's claim, the same can be checked whether he had turned up to the place of destination from where the same was booked or he was quite away from the destination and cancelled on his own.

                        Hope to receive a proper reply from you and resolve the issue.

                        On 3rd May 2017 I had booked a trip from RBI Layout 11th main (my residence) to Town Hall, J C Road under pool. The Driver did not turn up to my residence and kept his vehicle away from my residence of about 1 minute. I had to wait for long time but surprisingly I have received a message stating that my trip has been cancelled and charged. Immediately I had to book another trip as I had to go to my office. This evidently shows that I had not cancelled and the driver has cancelled the trip on his own and caused me lot of inconvenience.

                        I want to lodge a complaint against the driver for his act and causing me lot of inconvenience and the cancellation charges collected to me should be refunded immediately.

                          I booked an uber cab on 10th may around 9:50pm. I got the booking confirmed. I called the driver. He said it will take around 10 minutes. But on the uber app it was showing only 2-3 minutes away.
                          Then as i could see on the uber app, he drove close to my location and stood there. I could not see his vehicle moving. So i called him again and asked him, if he is coming or not. This time also he said he is coming. I told him your location looks very close to me on uber app.
                          He did not respond to that, just said he will be there at my location in 2-3 minutes. I was not satisfied with his response, but thought lets wait a few more minutes.
                          As i disconnected the call, within next few seconds he cancelled the cab.
                          I got the message from uber saying : "driver_name had to cancel".

                          So i booked another cab from uber.
                          I reached home. But when i saw the bill uber had added 63.60 rupees as a cancellation fee for the last trip. I did not even cancel the trip. The driver did.
                          Still i had to pay 63.60 rupees more on my bill.

                            On 1st May I bokked a ca to the airport and waited for the cab after 20 minutes since i did not get a call i checked the app and the driver had cancelled the trip. I hurriedly booked another cab cause i had only 45 minutes to reach the airport. On 6th May I'm waiting for the cab on the street and spoke with the Uber driver and he cancels on me. On 10th May I had 3 of them cancel without any notice. Everytime I book after 10 minutes they would cancel and mind you at surge price of 2.0.

                            This is ridiculous drivers cancelling on me 5 times in a span of 2 weeks. I have never had this issue before. Drivers need to be fined for this.

                            Uber app has no option to complain, poorly done app.

                            I frequently use Uber and this was uncalled for.

                              I live in Mysuru-Karnataka, India. I travel by cabs frequently and I used to prefer Uber in the past. But Uber service now in Mysuru is pathetic. Most of the times cabs are not available, they arrive late and almost all the time there is a surge in their charges. Any time of the day or night, it is rare to get a Uber cab on normal rates.I am told that surge is applicable only in metro cities but it is always charged in Mysuru though it is not a metro city. I now take uber very rarely.

                              I booked for rides several times. But the driver cancells the ride. For the next ride, the driver demanded for payment for the previous ride which was not undertaken at all. Moreover, discount is not being considered. Pl. Revert back

                                I have never seen such a pathetic service provider like Uber, I booked a taxi from Bhagwati Garden Extn. to T3 terminal and the fare comes Rs.223.45. And I told the driver to stop the trip as soon as we reach the destination and paid him for the trip. He was willing to wait for me but I told him that I will take time and not to wait. After few minutes, he call me saying that he is going to that route and he will wait for me. However, to my surprise he did not stop the trip and he was trying to fool me and charge me high amount. Still I confirmed with him that I will be booking another taxi and you go ahead with you own work but later on once I come back with the same cab and ask him the fare, the bill comes another 1071.55. I was surprise to the core and ask him the previous trip cost me 223.45 and why this much now. The driver and the car was smelling a foul smell of weeds and I tried calling Uber care but hopeless service altogether. I need my full money refunded writhing 24 hours and I will not let even a single penny go in lost. This is really a bad experience with Uber twice and I want the whole world to know how pathetic Uber is!

                                  Uber in Bangalore is charging higher than permissible limit, as per law. Legal limit is 14.5 per km for normal, and 19.5 per km for ac cabs. This charge is including all type of payment like taxes, surge premium etc.
                                  I have been charged 130 for 6 km ride, in normal cab. Kindly guide me to escalate my complaint to relevant authorities, as I m not getting satisfactory response from uber

                                    Hi everyone,

                                    I took a pool trip today morning. The estimated price
                                    Of the trip was rs. 113. Initially, rs. 113 was deducted from my attached
                                    Paytm account. However, the driver couldn't follow the map directions so i
                                    Made a complain. As soon as i submitted the complain, an additional
                                    Amount of rs. 195 was deducted. The trip fare now shows rs. 309.

                                      On 8tb May17 at 2:55pm I was overcharged and the reason given on overcharging was some additional surge charges that are not applicable. It's just like fooling customers. The original cost of the trip was ₹59 and I was charged ₹469 and when asked for the receipt got to know some unwanted charges on the trip. Kindly see to this matter otherwise need to go for more strict options.

                                        My self Sourabh Kataria, Mostly i booked cab from uber, But im frustarted from uber from last few trips due to unfair charge and cancel cahrge put on us, On 07.01.17 Uber driver cancel the trip and u put cancelation charges on me, On 15.04.17 i book a cab but uber driver cancel the tri and told me he doing dinner and cancel the trip after that how Uber put cancelation cahrges on me, On 29.04.17 im book uber for Hyderbad deccan station and uber charge 2.8 time fare from me reason provide less car available but i recd. the uber with in 5 mins then how u charge unfair rent from us.

                                        This is totally unfair and ungenuine u cheated with us and charged double triple fare from us, this is my genuine request to you kindly reverse the extra amount to me else im going to consumer forum.
