My sisters issue. Today she booked a cab twice and the cab driver cancelled the booking and she had to pay rupees 53 each time. I have all the proofs to show that the drivers cancelled both the times. On top of this, they were extremely unprofessional!! Is this what we expect from the brand name uber?? I need a refund immediately or i will take this to all social media!! I need an answer asap along with the refund!!! Email me at [protected]@gmail.com

Bt I n never ever cancel the uber ride before this ride

    I booked an uber for my family to travel from grant road area to bandra terminus (mumbai) on 15th may 6:03 pm and My total bill was 583 rupees including toll charges and the driver asked for more 60 rs as toll charges when it was already included in the bill, my invoice attached with this complaint clearly shows my bill to be 583, the driver took 583 + 60 = 643

      I used to be a regular customer o[censored]ber. But recently my experience with Uber has made me to stop using the services.

      Uber charges INR 63.5 in India if we cancel the cab after more than 5 minutes of booking it. But what about the cases when even after booking the cab, the driver didn't come at all?

      In recent times there have been many times when I booked an Uber cab but the driver came more than 20 minutes after booking the cab, in spite of showing a distance as close as 5 minutes. I would be getting late, but still couldn't cancel the cab as it would charge me so much. I still continued taking Uber services hoping that it wouldn't happen any more. But what happened next was unbelievable!!! I booked a cab on April 10, 2017 and got the confirmation message. In spite of driver telling me multiple times that he would be reaching in 2 minutes, he didn't come at all. I waited for more than half an hour and after a point the driver stopped picking up the calls. I kept calling him again and again but he didn't pick up the call. After waiting for around 45 minutes so sadly I had to leave and had to cancel the trip. I was charged INR 63.60 for no fault of mine.

      I thought being a regular customer o[censored]ber and since it wasn't my fault, I will be refunded the amount deducted. But No, there is no refund even after more than a month passing after the incident.

      Is this how you treat your customers? Charge them for your own fault? This is extremely unprofessional o[censored]ber and I never expected this. I can clearly state that I am going to make people aware about the fraud services o[censored]ber. In this era of availability of multiple options, I will definitely go for other cab service providers instead o[censored]ber. In fact I have already stopped using Uber from the past one month as I was expecting a refund. Neverthless, Thank You for your service.

        I routinely book trips to syndicate bank layout, which is near the nice road. Since you are aware of the geography of bangalore, to get to nice road, to travel on nice road and to reach the destination after nice road, all adds up to a long distance.in addition, there is a significant toll involved. The upfront fee calculated always takes this route into consideration, therefore calculating a the fee based on this very long distance and toll.

        However, in reality, the driver never even gets onto the nice road, and rightly so, because it would be unnecessary with local roads being available. However, the fare deducted is always that very high amount based on the long route and toll.

        Why am i having to pay for the long and tolled route, when in actual, my driver takes a short and toll free route? To worsen things, i am not even given an option to pick my route during the upfront fee calculation. This is fraud, and if i don't get a satisfactory answer and compensation, i will take the issue with to the regulatory authorities.

          I haven't been able to use Uber for booking rides since months. About a day ago, I complained to them about this. Since then, they have only replied that my account activity had violated their terms, and that the account would be suspended until further notice.

          I asked them what "exact" action violated their terms, and also about "when" would my account be reviewed again. Every time, they are pasting the same reply.

            I had booked uber yesterday for going to phoenix mall kurla from government colony bandra east mimbai.
            Mr. Indra (Mh46ad1638) came to me after almost 20 minutes. When we sat in the car, did not start for more than 20 minutes saying that there was some problem in his software
            And he was trying to load the software in his mobile. After almost 40 minutes he said you cancel the trip and book another uber.
            We asked him about any contact no. For uber, he informed that i can get it from net.
            We did not have any alternative but to cancel the trip and book another uber car.
            While doing this we are unnecessarily charged rs. 60/- for cancelling the trip for none of our fault.

              Used ₹75 promo offer for this ride
              Pl help me to log in in to my account. When I enter the phone number it says it is already in use. I uninstalled the uber app and reinstalled. Still the same problem persist. I have an uber credit of about ₹5 and one promo code ₹75 off which expires today.
              I am facing this problem from yesterday. My mails to support @uber and [protected]@uber is not going thru, I afraid.

                On 14.05.17 night, I booked share cab from Akshardam soc. Chincholi, Malad West to Raheja Estate, Borivali East. I recd. confirmation and arrival time 7 min. I came to Soc. gate to catch the vehicle, arrival time shown 4 min. Suddenly I recd. message that it is cancelled by driver Mr. Khan with arrival time 7 min. and Uber charged my account Rs. 60/= saying that wrong payment option chosen. First thing it was not cancelled by me and I was present at pick up point 4 min. before cab arrival. Second thing driver did not call me and he cancelled the booking from his side. This is not acceptable to me; Uber needs to revert the charges and confirm.
                Please note I not going to pay this amount.

                i booked a Uber cab on 23.12.2016. The cab driver kept calling to confirm the address, reconfirm the address and claimed he was there yet i could not spot/locate him. he said he was just outside 9 block. if one has to take a walk it would easily take a 8-10 minutes brisk walk to cover the whole of 9 block. he pretended he could not say where exactly in 9 block. it was obvious he was buying time so that he can slap some charges. he never turned up even after 20 minutes. then he called and disconnected several times. if i called he was not reachable. my super senior citizen mom was with me. so, i told him 'if you don't come early, i will cancel the cab." after all, he was not coming. he said he was outside the compound. but he was not there. i gave him land mark so as to facilitate coming inside. finally, after a good 30 minutes, i left the place.

                i was intimated that Rs.60/- is deducted from my paytm account. how can this happen? it was not my mistake that the cab driver never turned up. you better check up the position with the driver.

                in this connection, i want to know how uber can deduct my paytm money without my knowledge and consent? I wrote to both Uber and Paytm. but despite my writing to both they did not bother to answer? suits them fine to ignore and loot people of petty cash. though Rs.60 is not exactly petty cash no one would bother to make a big issue out of it, Right?

                I deleted my Uber account. If many more people do the same thing, when they are put to trouble and grievances not even attended to.

                  On 12 May, I had booked Uber for my friend and at the time of booking it showed charge as approx 480 rs. To my shock I got bill of 868 rs and there was a surcharge of rs 416.59 charged. I had used Uber many times in past and never encountered such issue before. I know how surcharge works and would have never booked the trip at such exhorbitant rate. I request you to please remove the surcharge so I can pay the remaining trip charge. Uber customer service is pathetic.

                    Uber claimed that on 6th may I book cab & also cash got deducted accidentally by me there account as I was unable to book other cab.

                    I never Initiated this drive, also contacted​ help centre but response was pathetic, they didn't provide any trip details as well.

                    Please check as they are claiming as ligitimate charge, refund not given by them

                      I have a complaint to make regarding the services o[censored]ber and its policies. Today, on May 14, 2017, I booked a cab from Ramlal Kapoor Marg, Bhai Parmanand Colony to Shirdi Sai Baba School located in Faridabad, Sector 86. The said destination was my test center as I had an important exam today. The cab (DL1 RT5518) was booked and we met the driver at the pickup point. But he refused to drive us to Faridabad stating that the taxes have been increased and he doesn't take drives to Faridabad or Gurugram. And then he cancelled the trip. I, then again, requested a cab (Hyundai Xcent) and to avoid any more inconvenience I immediately called the drive, Gagan. And he also refused to drive us to Faridabad, so I had to cancel the pickup. Now, I missed my exam because o[censored]ber and I want compensation for this whole trauma. Your policies should be updated as per the needs of the customers and their convenience. You should have stated on your app that the drive could not be completed due to whatever reasons and so I could have made other arrangements to reach my destination. Due to this incident I failed to take the examination for which I had been preparing for.

                        I had been a regular commuter from no.9, ex-servicemen colony, r. T. Nagar
                        (My residence) to 340 b, 9th cross 4th main, peenya industrial area (Ganapathy nagar in your records) for the last 8 months or so. Very often i had occasions where the driver of the cab could not find the location and do not reach my pick - up point. My pick-up point is in a prominent area behind r. T. Nagar police station
                        Near chaitanya hospital. These drivers who can not reach the pick-up point cancel the trip. I am made to pay the cancellation charges even if i did not cancel. I had made
                        Everal such complaints but no response from your end. I had a similar
                        Experience yesterday also. The driver could not reach. I booked ola cab and proceeded to my destination i had helped him by explaining how to locate the pick-up point despite that, he could not reach,. You verify from you records whether i had cancelled or he cancelled. Even if he cancels, you charge from our next trip. This practice is highly objectionable and should be avoided

                            We were booked at a 3 star hotel​in pune. We were to take the shivneri bus from breman chowk. The hotel manager booked a uber cab from his app. He booked the cab and the driver arrived late as he didn't know the location. Further as soon as we boarded​the cab, he announced that he wasn't familiar​with the city as he was transferred just 10 days ago. We were also new to the city and the worst part is, he was oblivious of what was happening. Its really shocking and appaling to note that uber just sends inexperienced& untrained drivers who don't know much about the city. Fortunately for us the bus was late by 20 minutes and this helped us reach our destination jn time. However this led to a lot of heated exchange of words btn the passengers and let to a lot of distress & panic which was unnecessary. Kindly ensure that your drivers r indeed trained and experienced before sending them on trips for customers.

                            I hope uber takes some steps to ensure that customers in Pune have better service.it seems that the drivers have become bold and are aware that uber never taken any action.sometimes we feel making a complaint would mean risking​ our safety in subsequent trips!!!

                              I am Aagam Mishrikotkar, a resident of pune.
                              It happened in my last trip. I booked an uber cab and I wanted to reach early to my destination so I called the driver. I told him that I needed to reach early. He then cancelled the ride. When I booked uber cab again today to reach my destination, I got an outstanding charge of rs 63, Apart from the amount I was told to pay for my trip.
                              So I request you to look into my matter and refund me rs 63 which was taken from me in spite of being the driver fault.

                                I have booked uber at 9:15 AM - Maruti Suzuki For
                                Vaishali sector 3 to Vidya Bharati School, Surya Nagar, Ghaziabad. I have paid 95 for that.

                                In returning, again I booked uber at 11:22 AM - MAruti Suzuki Wagor R
                                Vidya Bharati School, Surya Nagar, Ghaziabad to Vaishali sector 3. Now I have to pay for Rs. 320

                                Wanted to know why this is so difference. The diver name was Mohd, now showing full name. The driver was following wrong route with no reason. I want my money back.

                                Non of the customer care number is working, how can a customer complain directly.

                                  Yesterday i booked the ride but the cab driver did not reached on the spot. He was making excuses to come to the pickup location... Ia sked him two nearest to come whereas he was not agreeing... So i cancelled the ride because was waiting with luggage and he was just denying to come... Still i need to pay for that?? First cab person unable to find d out the location and after 45 min he said to cancel the cab.., again book the cab the person reached the location and didn't call me when i called him that it's ur cab who standing from of me then he said yes and said that he is not able to went to ghaziabad and cancel the cab... I m taking about today... Its realy pathetic i wil never travel from uber... Thanks for giving me the bad experience alwaz

                                        I had taken a trip back from Apollo Hospital to my residence at E110, Greater Kailash2, New Delhi, distance of 6.5 km. on 08/05/2017 in afternoon. However I was made to pay an extraordinary amount of Rs 117.21 instead of Rs.49.00. Kindly refund the extra amount charged to me - Rs. 68.21 by adjusting in my next travel.

                                        In event the amount is not refunded, please inform me the breakup of the amount charged to me, when in all other trips within 8 KM's under Uber Pool you have only charged me Rs 49 as per your extensive advertisement.
