I booked my ride on May 2nd, 2017 in Visakhapatnam. When I first booked the ride opting for cash payment, the rate showed me Rs. 440 just for 12 km ride. I had to cancel that ride as the price was very high. Before I cancel the ride, I called up the driver Lova Kumar AP31 8962 Swift Dzire and asked him if the price will be charged according to km's or the price showing in the app. He said he doesn't know. So immediately I canceled the ride and thought I would re-book again. When I canceled the driver called me and asked why did I cancel. I told him about the price being very high. He asked in a rude manner that he is coming from 2 km's that how can I cancel the ride. I replied saying it's my right to cancel my ride anytime. I have re-booked my ride again after canceling my previous ride, this time the ride order went back to the same driver who previously I spoke. This time without informing me he canceled my ride. This is a disgusting and ridiculous behavior of the driver. I will never ever want to ride with UBER again. Worst experience with unethical drivers. Uber teach your drivers how to be ethical and professional.

    I went on uber today morning during their high surcharge time. I got a promo code KOLOFF by their msg. I tried for several hours to upload the code during bookingof my trip from Raipur Kolkata84 to Joka trum depot Kolkata, but unable to upload due to their system error. I had to pay full charge instead of 50/- off due to their site problem. I am requesting here to return me the discount amount by the company.
    Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I have booked uber taxi from JB Nagar to Santacruz- west Mumbai. under Pooling. But the fair indicated 93.81 instead of 49/-. You are requested to kindly rectify whether I have been wrongly charged and if yes arrange to refund the excess charge of Rs. 44.81.

      Uber india — booked a trip but driver didn't turn up

      Booked at trip from sea mist charkop to ijmima tower malad west at 9.13 and the driver's name was
      Ravindra with vehicle maruti swift dzire. It was 9 minutes to pick me up and i waited for 20 minutes and suddenly my mobile displayed that the trip was on. After 5 minutes when i called him he was not respond my call i called up 15 time till... He dose not reply and i charged up unnecessary by paytm
      I want refund my amount and please release unprofessional drivers

      On 20th April i booked cab from Mogappair East to Avadi. The drriver didnt arrive at the pickup point, but he started the trip. I tried calling the driver twice but he didnt respond to my call. I registered a complaint through Uber App, but the amount was not refunded.
      Why uber is pricing 200 and 300 % on regular trips.from kothapet to somajiguda uberpool was 130 and now 260 undergo was 180 now 360.is there no control over them.i need reply plz
      Today first time in life I book uber from447 barkat Nagar tonk fatak jaipur to Collectrate Jaipur between these two points total distance is 7 km and charged Rs.204 which was not justfied

        I kept getting error while booking uber suddenly and then i reached out to their help page. I was informed that my account is suspended due to some violation of their terms and conditions. After some follow ups they confirmed that ban is due to some issues that happened rarely and they clearly confirmed that ban is now lifted and i can use uber and even mentioned happy to see you soon in uber.

        I was still unable to book cabs and was informed that ban is correct and i can't use uber. These guys have made me so frustrated, i don't understand how they confirm something in writing and later just ignores it.

          ​Dear Sir

          I have traveled in UBER on ​29th April (Saturday) 2017 at 11.26 PM from Delhi Airport to The Park Hotel in Parliament street Delhi by Maruthi Suzuki Wagon R by Mr.Amit.

          I faced following problems with this driver.

          1. After booking we were waiting in front of the Airport with our luggage but he refused to come to our place instead we have to walk a long carrying our luggage left side road after the old petrol bulk.

          2. After raid starts he parked just 100 meters and went to some place keeping us in car for 10 minutes in the middle of a small junction making traffic.

          3. Again he parked in middle in to a gas station and we were forced to wait further 30 mts

          4. He asked Rs.150 as extra asking airport parking fee

          5.We have paid Rs.500 inclusive of Rs.317 ride charge but he has not paid back any changes

          6. He switched on Air condition only in the middle of the ride after repeated request.

          7.Your receipt says raid charges was Rs.167.84 and the surcharge was Rs.150 it was ??????

          After our Delhi Trip today I have landed in Chennai this evening 7.20 Pm after coming out of Airport I was trying to book UBER, when I was trying so your APP says that I have to pay RS.317 of the old ride. Sir how come a driver will leave us un paid after drooping us in Hotel?? I was also not using UBER money to say you can collect.

          This is my third bitter experience with UBER

          After my second bitter experience of charging Rs.50 from my previous ride which was cancelled by driver I have almost all stopped booking UBER. If this issue was not solved I will and my family and few friend o[censored]s will stop using UBER and we will un install the APP from our mobile

          Please dont force us to take any legal action as per consumer protection forum.

            Hello, I had booked an UberGo from my contact no [protected] on 01 may 2017 at 12:30 from Vidya nagar, Indore to Cloth Market, Indore. The distance between these two location is approx. 4 - 5 Kms for which fare should have been between Rs 60 - 80 but the driver charged me Rs 225.87 which is irrational for such a short distance. I had also availed a promotional benefit of Rs 59 for 5 km but the driver fought with me and took Rs 225. Please refund rs 165 to my account.

            I was charged Rs.50/- even though the driver cancelled my trip. I waited for 20 mins and the driver cancels my trip. VOILA what do i see i am charged Rs.50/-.

            PATHETIC and CHEATERS!!

            OLA is any day better, i hardly use UBER nowadays, guys please use OLA..
            I cannot register in UBER with mobile number [protected]. Please let me know when can I register in UBER peacefully.
            I'm not getting any mails and messages when ever i book the ride i'm not getting please look into this and resolve and i appreciate if you resolve the issue

              As per my calculation, I have been charged a cancellation fee of Rs 63.6 on the ride that I have taken on 29/04/2017 at 12:57pm.
              I have raised a ticket that the driver had cancelled this trip from his side, then why I was charged cancellation fees for the same.

              Further, a trip that I had booked on 28/04/2017, 8:54 pm, I had to cancel the trip as the driver didn't pick me up and kept me waiting for around 10mins. For this also I have been charged a cancellation fees of 63.6.

              Moreover, on a trip booked on 29/04/2017, 1:08pm, I took the ride and I was displayed a fare of Rs230 for that ride. I had applied promotional coupon code for which I had to get a waiver of Rs 50 in my next five rides. In addition, I had an Uber credit of Rs 63.6 in my Uber account. So Ideally I had to pay Rs 117. However, the driver displayed a total fare of Rs 243.6 and had taken that amount from me.
              When I checked the receipt for this ride, a cancellation fees was included in this trip for the ride that I had cancelled on 28/04/2017, 8:54pm. And I have already been charged a cancellation fee on this ride as mentioned above. Surprising isn't it?

              I just don't understand what the hell is going on. What types of calculations are you guys making?
              I want a reversal of all the amount that I have been charged for, and that too immediately.

                  I reached Guwahati on 25th April 2017 at 11 am and checked in Hotel President on G.N.B. Road, near Pan bazaar. After due work outside I booked from my mobile UBER cab around 1-45pm from opposite Panbazar Girls High school to Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship at Basistha Chariali, Lalmati, 37 N.H.Bypass, Guwahati – 781029 which is aprox 24 kms and reached at 2-25 pm. As indicated & claimed by the driver we paid Rs.178.00 in cash.

                  We had meetings with their Faculty Member & then with Admn. Officer till 4-30 pm. We then came to CCM’s office of Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon by public transport at 5-15 pm and then to our hotel after 7 pm again by public transport.

                  Since the wifi was complementary facility provided by the Hotel, I was using the same on 26th April and booked uber cab at around 10-30 am. To my surprise it showed that a pending amount of Rs.205.38 is due from me as booking made at 2-48 pm on 25th April but could not be paid due to transaction problem. As I was to attend a tender opening assignment and in a hurry, I booked the cab which showed an estimated fare of Rs. 179.61. After reaching at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship at around 11-25 am as claim by the driver I paid Rs.285/- ( Rs.179.61 for my trip & Rs. 205.38 which unduly collected from me and I am no way responsible for this.)

                  In view of above, I request M/s. Uber to kindly credit my a/c ( Cell no.[protected]) with due intimation to me at the earliest.

                    This is very sad to say that the image o[censored]ber that was set in my mind is degrading and deterriorating. On 29th of April 2017, I booked a cab from Ajmeri gate to Ritz cinema. The driver named Domnic agreed for the service. After a wait of around 10 minutes I realized that the trip is cancelled by the driver. When I talked to him, first of all he was rude and than when I asked him to come to my location he said that he cancelled the trip. In my next trip I was charged around Rs. 63 for this trip that I never completed. So I would request you to kindly refund the extra amount of Rs 63 that was wasted due to your driver's fault and kindly take some severe action against that driver named, Domnick.

                      The driver from under almost got us killed today.. He tried to overtake a cab just lost d balance of his vehicle and bangs d vehicle in roadside barricades on d ghat near china bridge on this under road.. By phone screen broke glasses broke have a bad sprain on my neck can't even keep my neck straight.. My wife got hurt in d chin.. By gods grace der was roadside barricades or else d vehicle wid have tumbled in d ghat river n i wudn't be writing this message anymore.. My family wud have lost der son and daughter in law.. And they wud be suing for this kind of negligence.. We couldnt continued d trip as vehicle was damaged n der was no other vehicle n had to wait for a while before cud get a rickshw.. I would still be suing uber for this kind of neglicience n hiring drivers without any experience and want someone to call back.. I[censored] check d trip details u wudn't know we don't complete d trip and also for more verification u can check for damage in car to imagine d kind of accident we have been thru.

                        I have a few major issues i would like the company to address and i shall list them below:
                        1) cancellation : sometimes the customers are left with no choice but to cancel when the drivers take the wrong route or take too long in reaching or as in the case of my booking on 28th april 2017 at 4:09, the driver told me he was coming to my location on gps and when i called him again at 4:20 he flatly refused to come to my destination and asked me instead to go to where he was waiting, whose location i was not familiar with. He refused to cancel and when i requested politely asking him to cancel so i could book another cab, he hung up on me. This caused grievous delay and made me late for an appointment since i had to book another cab. And to add insult to injury, i was charged for the cancellation!
                        2) many a times the drivers are reckless and take unnecessary risks with the vehicles in over-taking, speeding or zigzagging their way in heavy traffic. One particular experience i had was where the designated uber driver did not show up and another driver who claimed to be his brother drove the cab saying the driver was at a wedding in the village. This driver was highly incompetent, reckless, and did not know how to drive properly. To add to that, he was not at all familiar with the city and could not read the gps and so i had to be the backseat driver giving him directions constantly. This made the long ride very tedious and uncomfortable and i had no choice since i was already running late and there was no other mode of transport easily accessible. I would suggest that the drivers be vetted thoroughly and proper assessment of their driving skills be made and they be penalised if anyone other than the designated driver is found ferrying passengers.

                        It is rather, a long list of complaints but i feel that i have every right to voice my concern in regards to my own safety and for others' sake. I sincerely hope you will look into the matter so that your customers continue to avail of your services.

                          Today (29-april-2017) at 5.59 am i booked an uber cab for my husband. Pick up - dlf phase 5 gurgaon and drop at igi airport delhi. Driver mosim (Phone # [protected]) with a maruti suzuki ertiga confirmed that he would do the ride but cancelled the trip on his own for no rhyme or reason. Not just that when we tried calling after he didnt turn up, his phone which was working fine 5 mins back went to being "switched off" this left my husband waiting in the main road until another ride was called.
                          Same day i had booked for a cab at 9.11 am from gurgaon to igi airport delhi, same thing happened. Driver sabdul (Phone # [protected]) with a hyundai xcent confirmed the trip but didnt turn up. When i tried to call him the number which was working 5 mins back was "out of reach". Again i had to book a new cab, wait in the main road and then managed to get a ride to the airport.
                          If these drivers dont want to drive passengers to their destinations why do they confirm the rides in the first place??
                          Travelers can miss their flights or trains because of this senseless behavior. Will uber compensate in such cases.in both cases the drivers themselves decided to cancel the trips without even informing us and uber decides to charge us cancellation charges.in the first instance inr 106 and in th second inr73.14. Seriously if you people cannot provide services you promise why not shut your business?

                            Booked at trip to kereguddadahalli at 7.13 and the driver's name was
                            Chethan with vehicle mahindra verito. It was 18 minutes to pick me up and i waited for 18 minutes and suddenly my mobile displayed that the trip was on. After 15 minutes when i called him he said he has picked up three passengers and i asked that my trip was on, he said there is some mistake and he will cancel and i have to book onceagain. By 8.30 i should have reached the destination. I was forced to onceagain book other cab and reached the destination at 9.45 pm. His cell number was [protected] name chethan. Useless fellow. By keeping and encouraging such rogue drivers uber is bound to get beating of their credibility.

                            on 17.04/18.04.2017 I hired a cab to Classic Inn, Marenahalli, vijayanagar, Bengaluru from Bangalore international airport the fare which was displayed was 736 and the drivers name was vasundhara. I was made to pay the toll of Rs.125/- while exiting the airport towards vijayanagar. the driver argued, confused me and made to pay. today I hired uber twice and both the drivers informed me that I need not have paid the toll its inclusive in the fare itself. I am Satish Pai and my cell no. is [protected] and [protected]. Please let me know which is correct and have I been duped by the driver. if so, I need refund from your side after recovering the amount from him.

                              We booked cab by scheduling the time from madippakkam Chennai to gowl bazaar chennai, while scheduling or while the cab reaching near to the place they didn't mention peak hours. We use to pay maximum 120 rupees. But the driver charged 650 rupees. Such a frauds... don't earn money by doing fraudulent things to the customers. Better shut down ur business i[censored] can't run ur business instead... Scrubbing the customers pocket.

                                Today we have booked Uber cab from Miyapur. We waited almost one hour for cab and meanwhile we haved called him multiples but we haven't get any response from him so we tried to cancel the ride but we couldn't able to do so. In the end we could able to see 1440 bill in our account. Is there any way to take action against this fraud. Kindly help us.

                                  Worst service by uber. I tried to book for trip and the trip was cancled by the driver with No reason. I called him many tines before he cancled the trip. He delayed my trip and cancled the trip with no reason. If there is any issue, he has to lift the call and has to response. But these ####### do mistakes and we have to get penalties. I didnt know how to get deduct the penality charged which was lied to my account. Can any one hello me pls to speak to uber customer care. Thank you.

                                    This is sharath kumar and my registered. Mobile number is [protected]. As I'm using Windows mobile I'm unable to write my issue using the app. So I'm writing from my personal mail.

                                    Yesterday. I.e., 28/04/2017 around 12:30pm I've taken a trip from ranga theare to balkampet. As I've selected the payment option as promo credits but end of the trip driver asked for money as I explained but he argued and collected fare from me of 170/-. I'm unable to understand how can he collect fare from me when I have selected payment Method as promo code and also the credits were deducted. It's unfair from your end its totally cheating. I need my money back it was too late in the night so I stopped arguing and gave up money and walk away. I need my money back and hope you resolve it as soon as possible.

                                    This is sharath kumar and my registered. Mobile number is [protected]. As I'm using Windows mobile I'm unable to write my issue using the app. So I'm writing from my personal mail.

                                    Yesterday. I.e., 28/04/2017 around 12:30pm I've taken a trip from ranga theare to balkampet. As I've selected the payment option as promo credits but end of the trip driver asked for money as I explained but he argued and collected fare from me of 170/-. I'm unable to understand how can he collect fare from me when I have selected payment Method as promo code and also the credits were deducted. It's unfair from your end its totally cheating. I need my money back it was too late in the night so I stopped arguing and gave up money and walk away. I need my money back and hope you resolve it as soon as possible.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I had booked an Uber taxi on 29 April 2017 (9:14am) from Eastend Apartments, New Ashok Nagar to Lado Sarai. Both the pickup and drop locations fall within New Delhi. The pincode of New Ashok Nagar being 110096 (a Delhi pincode). The same pincode can be seen on the invoice as well (attached).

                                      At the time of booking, the app showed the ride cost estimate of about Rs.220/-. However, upon completion of the journey the bill showed Rs.331/-. Close scrutiny of the receipt revealed that I have been charged a UP State Tax Toll. Uber has unjustly charged me Rs.100 UP State Tax Toll even though no such tax was paid or even had to be paid by my taxi driver. The location is evidently in Delhi, it can be seen in the map on the invoice too.

                                      I request and expect a refund at the earliest.

                                        Today i travelled with uberpool. I booked 2 times and cancelled it due to uber drivers are new and they do not know the address where to come. They are new and do not know the near by place even they are not able communicate properly in hindi. I called 2 times for guiding address but they are not picking up calls as well. They are new to the city so far. Even they do not know the near by place even if they are also not picking up the call also. This is my not fault totally. Due to driver fault i did this. For this cancellation uber charged 2 times (64+64) 128 rupees mistakenly against cancellation. Worst services by uber.

                                        what rubbish... i always preferred Uber over Ola.. but u guys need to get your act right... why the hell u charged 64 for the ride which was not even took place.. at 3.50am i requested uber to pick up and i called that guy to confirm... he responded and said he'll arrive within 10mins but he never did.. we as a clown waited there for like 20min and he didn't even responded after that confirmation call... so i cancelled and took auto.. But u guys without knowing anything charged me 64 i want my refund cuz it wasn't my fault
