I booked an Uber pool cab today at 10:13 AM. On calling the driver, he told me that he is in my vicinity but he won't be picking me up. To this, I said OK and canceled my trip. I again booked a cab and the same driver asked me to cancel my trip. This happened a total of 3 times and the fourth time as well, the driver denied duty even though he himself said that he was just outside my society. The fourth time I wasn't able to cancel the trip on my own and I asked him to cancel the trip at his end. He was very rude and denied to do so. When I called him, he simply picked up the call and kept it aside. I called me a total of 12 times and every time he picked up my call and kept it aside without uttering a single word.
I then booked a cab from Ola and my trip started at 10:33 AM respectively. It is to be noted that all this while, my Uber trip was still active even though I was not picked up at all. on the other hand, I received a notification at 10:29 AM that my UBEr trip has been completed and that I was charged INR43.39 for this trip. All this while, I was actually traveling in an OLA cab that I booked.
I want to complain against the UBEr cab driver who not only denied my pickup 4 times, but he also ignored my calls and refused to cancel the trip at his end. I demand strict action to be taken against him or else I will escalate the issue to higher authorities and also publish it on all social networking websites. I was a loyal Uber rider but today, I was pushed to use another cab facility.
