I had hired an Uber taxi in Mumbai from Powai to Charmee enclave Vile Parle on 4th Mar at about 5.30 PM. The fare was approx 192 rs which I paid in cash. On the return trip at about 10.00 PM, I again hired an Uber taxi and was mentally prepared for paying approx the same amount as above . On arrival at Powai the driver showed the bill to be 387 Rs. On asking for details, he claimed that the previous trip balance of 192 Rs has not been paid and the same needs to be paid alongwith the present charge of 194 Rs. In total the driver collected 387 Rs.

This additional charge of 192 rs twice from me in cash is wrong and needs to be refunded.

    Dear Sir,

    Today morning, I booked cab, driver said I am at the Airport if I pick up you will have to pay Rs 100 extra in cash. I refused for so on request of driver when I canceled the trip I have been charged Rs 60. Which is illegal.

    Pls refund me by correcting my payment due for last trip as I havent made payment yet.

      My Uber account has been blocked for a long time. I have repeatedly requested Uber to tell me the reason for blocking my account but their only reply is that their system does it for security purposes and that the system could be wrong. I haven't gotten any response stating that they will unblock it or look into it. They won't even tell me the reason my account has been blocked. I need to know why they have blocked my account and unblock it.

        Today around 10pm I have booked a cab and waited for 15mins . After that the cab driver cancelled the trip. Then I have booked OLA cabs. Now I'm checking the Uber app it's shows up as I have to pay 50rs.
        For what and why I need to pay this amount
        Can you send me details about the Uber payment.

          I have booked a car from ernakulam near radison blue hotel around 8.50 pm. The driver confirmed and identified the location. He first attended my call and asked the destination. Later he did not picked. I called several times and th system show oneminute running. After about 15 minutes later i cancelled the trip and made another request. Your have charged me for none of my fault. Again this type of service is not acceptable. I request to enquire and look into the matter.

            On Friday i.e. 31st March, 2017 i have booked uber but it got cancelled twice (both the times drivers had cancel the ride-screenshot is attached). For one cancellation i got credit of Rs. 60 but for cancellation of another ride till the date i did not receive any credit. Instead of that uber has deducted Rs. 60 from my paytm account. So now i am eligible for Rs. 120 credit i.e. Rs. 60 which uber has deducted from my paytm account and cancellation charges of Rs. 60. I have taken follow up from them and i have registered proper complaint but they have failed horribly as they are not ready to accept their mistake even after sharing all screenshots with them . Now i am sharing all screenshots 1. Deduction of Rs. 60 from paytm 2. Where you will be able to see 2 rides 3. Their reply on my complaint.
            Its been 3 days they have not yet reverted on my complaint.

            They still not replying with proper solution or evidence. Whereas i have all the evidences to proove my point. I have screenshots where you can see my paytm account is debited n also my 2 trips got cancelled by the driver. Even after so many weeks they are not able to solve the issue.

              On 3rd April I booked a cab from panvel station. Driver didn't show up for 30 mins because he was apparently refueling. I wanted to cancel but the app said it would deduct 60 rupees. Thus I asked the driver to do so because it was his fault. Today on 4th April uber illegally deducted 60 rupees on my other ride. Kindly ask them to repair the damages or they stand to lose a loyal customer and also I'll make sure everyone in my friend circle is aware of this grotesque theft.

                Uber India, you have cheated India and Indian peoples by your fake policies and fake promises, I have not got my referral amount Rs.4000/- INR I will make sure I take this amount and also spread the word to not trust companies like Uber. Mouth advertise is the most effective I make sure from now no more new car gets attached to Uber, you Uber staff at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai office is worst, rude, pointing out fingers to partners very unprofessional behavior, Ms.Nina at at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai office who assisted me was very rude, pointing out finger, not ready to listen. I need my referral amount Rs.4000/- INR

                  I opened an Uber account a year back, but using my personal car so car so, not using Uber. Few days back when I was in urgency any try to use it, I saw it is suspended, I though its because of not using it for long.

                  But their customer care saying its suspended because of "Suspicious Activity" and could not be activated. They don't bother to show the reason ever after repetitive query.

                  I see this as VIOLATION OF DIGNITY, would have sue if had time. There are many such instances if you search internet. GOVT should ban such middleman, who taking their cut sitting else where.

                  Cars are ours, drivers are ours, passengers are ours...what are they providing?

Our system is the same across the 300+ cities that we operate in.                   As i mentioned i never used your free rides neither i did any suspicious activity. This is really a derogatory comments without proper justification, you should never do against your customer. Even after so many requests, if you don't have way to know actual reason, there is problem in your system. I really don't want to buy another number just for uber. Request you to bring attention of your senior authority if you are incapable to handle this issue.                     For a distance of around 6 - 7 kms I was charged 358Rs. I have been regularly travelling in taxies and on my regular route I was charged Rs.358 in the place of around Rs.90 or 100 - this is 3.5 times higher. The driver was very unprofessional when I said I cannot give the suggested amount and when I wanted to speak to the customer care, he did not share me any reporting number and said he does not have any.

                    This is very unfair on Uber India and it has to be addressed or responded back.

                      Rs.49.48 added with my bill of Rs.197.03 has been wrongly charged because the driver refused to take a drive on that day at 5.43 pm on 01st April ' 2017. Moreover, the seat of that car was highly wet and my dress also got messed up due to same and I had to miss an important meeting because of rude and ugly behaviour of the driver.

                      I hereby strongly protest the behaviour of the said driver and want to lodge a complaint against the driver and revert me back whatever action is taken by your organisation against the said driver.


                      Please revert back the charges in my account.

                        I had recieved an sms from uber saying 50% off on payment uaing expression card. i had taken 2 rides and had paid with expression card for them but i didnt recieve any discount. i have been trying to complain using help on thier app but i am not getting any assistant. they want me to upload screenshot of sms however the feature to upload image is not working on thier app. i am trying to convey the same to them but in reaponse they are only sending me automated msgs with steps to upload image using thier app. i am frustrated for a week now. i am uploading the images with msg i had recieved and part of my conversation woth thier help team for one ride. the conversation for support of second ride is also more or less same more lengthy. Uber has no intention of helping me so please provide assist.

                          I have attached two uber receipts for ur reference. I have gone trip from My home Ayappa Nagar to Egmore station on 30.3.2017 ( Thursday) @8.46pm i have paid amount : 129.20 from my hand as cash. issue is driver Mr.Mukilan uber account shows Amount : 00.00 due to some network problem or internet issue. But my uber account amount : 129.20 shown and paid.

                          Second trip on 1.4.2017( sunday) @ 9.15pm from Ayappa nagar to central station through Uber driver name : SMOD Nair for the trip driver uber account shows the receipt of Rs.288.97 ( including last trip amount : 129.20 +158.77) i have paid the driver full amount of Rs.287/- ( two times i have paid for single trip). Kindly check with both driver and confirm me the refund or else free rides for my next trip to support the customer.

                          Note : If driver uber account shows Rs.00 means even though we ride trip, we should pay or not. Kindly confirm and solve the issue as we consider you one of the best service for the customer . Two receipts attached for your reference take some necessary action for this mail.'

                            I was supposed to catch a train from kalupur railway statition ahemdabad around 8:30 pm and for the same i booked the uber cab around, first the driver's phone was switched off when i tried to contact and later when he came, he refused to carry the luggage which was in a normal amount that was 2 briefcase and a 2 handbags, and he talked rudely and said that he would cancel the ride and he would mention that the customer has heavy luggage to escape from his liablity, which was completely not true, and he cancelled the same, and when we booked another cab was not able to trace the proper gps location which was correctly mentioned, and he shouted on us and said that he won't come to pick us from the location and asked to cancel the ride, and due to which i almost miss my train. Such kind of behaviour is not expected from cab drivers and due to such behavaiour of the cab driver it is we the customer who in have to face lot of problems and and when we cancel the cab in emergency it is only we who have to face the losses and have to pay extra amount on the next ride as we cancelled the cab. I really hope uber take this into consideration. I want that if they can take any action for the same and if they required the information in relation to the cab driver i would provide the same. As the act has charged the inappropriate charge of rs 110 on me, which completely no acceptable.

                              On 02.04.2017 at 12.26 pm I had booked an Uber from Anushakti Nagar Central School # 1 . Had received details of the driver Dharmendra. However on locating the driver for around 20 minutes it was observed that he was going away from the pick up point. Also tried to make a call to the driver to guide the correct path but the call was going unanswered. Finally I cancelled the ride at 12.56 pm . Since my payment was linked to PAYTM, as soon as I cancelled, Rs. 60 was deducted from my PAYTM wallet as cancellation charges. Please confirm where is the clause that cancellation charges will be levied is mentioned ? How could the charges just be deducted because the payment was linked to PAYTM. This is sheer loot of the needy passenger. Not acceptable as we waited enough and even tried calling the driver.

                              I booked UberGo in PUNE. Estimate was around 150 but it charged me 550. It happend with me twice on 26th March in Pune. After discussing with driver he informed me that I was charged according to Uber hire. But I booked Uber Go. Uber app is malfunctioned. It is charging incorrectly.

                                Iam Sankaranand.K, Safety Manager in General Motors, Bangalore.
                                Date - 31.March.2017.
                                We have been stressing on usage of seat belts by all our employee, whether on / off duty. It is been made to accept it, as a commitment of making it a regular practice. But one of my colleague, made a query to me of how to manage Cabs without seat belt.
                                She has booked an Uber Cab on 31.Mar.2017. She sat in the rear seat and then found out that there were no seat belts. Due to urgency, she had traveled in the cab. But she acknowledged her mistake to me on arrival.
                                This is to bring to your kind attention, that your support in ensuring seat belts in each of your cab might save lives in future. Think of it.

                                  I had booked uber cab for my mother on 01.04.2017 at 6.30 p.m and got confirmation of booking with driver (Sunil) and cab details (Wagon R). The same time I contacted the driver (Sunil) who in turn answered my phone and told that he is at the destination, I searched for him and directed him to reach the destination. But at the same time I got the message that driver sunil has cancelled your booking and I need to re-book.
                                  Innocently I again booked the cab at received the details of another driver (Raj) with different cab (Swift Dzire) number. As soon as it started I received message that your driver shall charge Rs. 63.60 as pervious fare. I immediately asked the driver how message of previous fare is reflecting.. but he in turn denied and told that he has just started the trip...
                                  The driver who was not well conversant with the GPS system took long route to New Delhi Railway Station and dropped at the back gate of Railway Station instead of front gate.. Moreover he did not stopped the trip and immediately asked for the fare amount of Rs. 356. My mother paid him Rs. 400/- he neither returned the change to my mother nor I got the message of total fare amount on my mobile number. Since my mother was in hurry she gave the money and rushed for the train.

                                  I then called the driver for clarification, he in turn told me that since u cancelled the previous cab, u are charged Rs. 63.60 as cancelled fare. Why the driver did not told me earlier that previous fare is because of cancellation of cab.. Why would I cancel the cab, when within the span of 2-3 minutes I had again booked the cab and that too from the Uber.. I would have booked it from Ola also..
                                  All in all I was charged total Rs. 70/- as extra fare.. Rs. 63.60 and Rs. 4/- as change.. Due to driver's long route also I was charged more than Rs 250/- which is the normal fare which I generally pay for New Delhi Railway Station.

                                  I had lodged complaint on the same day to Uber but no revert from their side.
                                  Uber can from their own records find out who had cancelled the cab... Cab was cancelled by the driver...

                                  i ramakrishna, on sunday 26th march 2017 i booked uber cab from mehdipatnam bus stop i.e piller number 13 to Q city in nanak ramguda .but after 10 minutes also he was not came to pick up point.uber service is the worst in the world brcause of cab driver i missed govt. job entrance exam

                                    I had received a message in my mobile about an offer from Uber - "Save Rs 500 on next 10 Uber trips! Click https://m.uber.com/ul/?action=applyPromo&promo=SAVE500 to get 50% off 10 Uber trips.Disc Rs 50/trip till April 7'17". I clicked the link to book a uber on 1st April 2017. However in spite of the offer, only Rs 6 off was given to me. kindly make sure that all offers sent to user's mobiles are valid.
                                    Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      On 30th March, I had reported an unprofessional behavior of driver and later discussed with UBER on-call support staff. The Uber listened the incident and shown regret and promised that they are going to take action against the driver and will refund the charges as the last Ride was incomplete as driver ends it midway...However, since next day morning I can't access my UBER account...My mobile No ([protected]) as well as registered email address ([protected]@rediffmail.com) is not working for me...Seems UBER has deactivated my accoubt b/o informing me...Completely frustrated and surprised...

                                      Can you please let me know why my account is disabled since I reported an issues with my last Ride?

                                      After listening to whole incident and verifying the data from backend, you support service staff (I guess it was Kritesh ) had promised to make the refund of last ride as Ride was imcomplete...He had also promised that he will update me on the actions Uber will be taking against the driver...

                                      However, surprisingly Uber has disabled the my account so that I can't further chase UBER on this...

                                      In above complaint I had mistakenly added my Mobile no and started receiving unnecessary call from User users...Can you please remove my Mobile No and email id?

                                        We had booked Uber cab from jaslok hospital till Agar bazar of 01 April 2017 @ 13:05 hrs. As per your route map it was expected to arrive with 11 mins. Afer waiting for more than 20 mins we called on the cell no ([protected]) as he had already passed from the location of pick up ( as per route map). He was unable to locate the destination. We would have to wait for more 20-25 mins, instead we opted to cancel the booking but a pop up came that we will be charged Rs. 60/- extra on our next ride.

                                        If the fault is of your driver why should we pay the charges and there is no screen provided for the reason for cancellation.

                                        After half an hour driver called us we had already reached our destination in kaali peeli taxi so he himself cancelled the booking to which if any charges are levied we wont be paying it.
                                        Kindly look into the matter & take proper action
