Today on 30th March I booked an Uber from Gangadham society to Sopanbaug, the estimate I got was around 140/- to 160/- rupees so I confirmed my ride and tookt. On reaching the destination I was asked to pay Rs 580/- which is exorbitant for a ride for 6.5 kms. The service was UberHIRE, It was Toyota Etios, the driver Vishnu was also very puzzled as to why the bill came soooo much for a destination of 6.5 km, he requested me to pay as otherwise he would have to pay, he also complaint to customer care helpline but they could not help. I demand that you look into the matter as Soon as Possible, or I will make severe complaint about your service. I came back the same distance in 80/- by riksha as I am determined never to use or allow any family or friends to use Uber ever again until my grievance is resilved and I am refunded the excess money taken from me.

If this is going to be the type of service, I am sorry Uber will get a very poor response. No one will take this cheating lightly.

    Halo,
    I booked a share Uber pool taxi on 27th march from home to office, my driver said coming to pick me up, I waited for 35 minutes...he didn't come.
    Suddenly my trip started on google map o[censored]ber.
    How my driver can skip me and start the trip??
    there is no OPT like in case of Ola or other taxis for security of customer in such cases.
    I was charged complete amount of Rs.333/-for this ride. It caused me mental harassment, waste of energy and valuable time also.
    I launched a complaint using mobile app to Uber. they said will refund my money. Uber second day shown me my money on trip as 0.
    My paytm wallet still not received amount from Uber.

    I have all phone calls with me for conversation with Uber taxi driver-Santosh. Paytm wallet is also evidence for payment deducted but received nothing in refund.

    I want to launch a serious complaint against this ridiculous service from Uber India..

    till date no refund received from uber team !
    they only deleted amount from the log of trips taken in mobile app, but not refunded my money to paytm wallet which is linked to uber app.
    Very disappointing, I never expected such thing from Uber.

    Better you may launch the Complaint in Consumer court or RTI.

      Dear concern
      Today evening i booked a cab (Wagonr) after calling me, driver cancelled a trip himself and then i l choosed again another cab (Swift dzire) with pol option then there was show rs 163 amount but when i reached at my destination another drive (Swift dzire) showed rs 227 and driver charged me same amount..

      Let know why customer has to paid 63.60 extra if first driver cancelled a trip himself (Which is showing in uber app).

      It means if two or more driver continuaslly cancel their trip then customer will have to pay this extra amount it's strange..
      It was first experience with uber and i hope it will be last too i[censored]ber does not solve this issue and further i will never suggest to another about u and your services untill u resolve it..

        Very disgusted to get this Rs 50/- debit yesterday for a trip which was done on 16th March from Jogeshwari to Matunga - i was charged by the Uber Driver Rs 158/-, which was paid immediately, and I did not get a receipt of the same. Yesterday I did my next Uber ride and when i was paying the fare I was charged Rs 50 extra for a balance unpaid. As I was in a hurry and did not wanted to argue with the Uber driver - I paid that amount and was in a fix to understand what this extra amount was.
        Then I got the receipt fr the 16th March ride - which shows that the Matunga drive was costing Rs 253 - Rs 50 discount ( which was actually mentioned as a 50% discount in your discount Codes )= Rs 203. I paid Rs 158/- on 16th March - Why did the driver take RS 158/- from me if the bill was Rs 203/- ???? How did the driver calculate the fare wrongly & why was I not informed immediately about the same, so I would had been mentally prepared to pay if there was a mistake on the part of the Uber Driver. Now how do we know this was a mistake or you are taking back the discount money from us & trying to loot & fool customers.

          Hello Uber,
          Yesterday evening at 6:40pm I have booked Uber cab, but driver Rambabu with tata indica 6321 no made me to wait for more than half n hour, he has understanding problem and completely unaware of Hyderabad roads he was simply roaming in same area and not even tried to call me so as it's becoming too late I have called and explained address clearly still he was unable to come to address he made one hour delay and finally called me to cancel the drive.
          This is not first I have faced this problem.

          I have faced same problem in Bangalore also Shivamadu is the driver with swift desire vehicle he was very near to my location but just unable to cross the road
          Even he asked me to cancel cab

          I don't understand the logic behind cancelling the vehicle when you foolish drivers unable to contact customer why should customer has to cancel from our end and bear the charges this is totally unfair.

          And this was charged me in next ride I request to Remove the last ride cancellation charges n Credit previous paid charges 50 rs.

          Hope you guys understand the problem

            Hi,

            When my phone was formatted, and i logged in using my phone an accunt got created by the same name but with no email id. The earlier one with email id, also existed but with no phone number in it. Basically, there is a duplicate account.

            I have tried explaining this to your customer support team, who (barring 2 of them) reply like morons with copy-paste responses without even understanding what is needed. The best part- for every reply that I do, someone new picks up the thread and demonstrates impeccable stupidity.

            Uber confirmed to one duplicate account (after a dozen of iterations) and closed it from their side, without even taking a confirmation from me. The problem hasnt been solved, and I am still receiving superlative stupid replies which are blindly sent.

            Uber customer representatives are basically making a fool of me, doing time pass.

              We forgot our wallet in Uber Mumbai Cab, MH02CR7684.

              Driver not picking our phone even though we must have called him 50+ times, we are also not getting any support from Uber India though registered complaint on their website against the trip.
              We have our important documents in the wallet like PAN card and RC book.
              Need help.

                Dear sir, I booked a cab from my location to railway station Indore on 28th Feb 2017 at 4:35 pm approx. The driver arrived late by almost 10 mins. Then he refused to go to the desired side of railway station and said will charge extra . We agreed to pay whatever amount comes up but he said he will charge ₹ 50.00 above the bill amount which is against the rules. So I left the cab n paid the amount upto where I travelled. Took an auto n reached railway station just in time. Driver name: Gulsingh, car: Indigo MP09CK1136. Pls take some action so customers don't suffer.

                  I booked a ride from​ my place which is nibm road to Magarpatta city. I called the driver and he was unable to find my address and hence he asked me to canx the ride and book again. (I have the call recordings) i canx the ride to book another one but was not able to as i was using my paytm accnt. It said need min balance of 350 to book ride. I had almost 400 in my paytm wallet. Aftr checking on paytm found out that the amount 350 is kept on hold by uber as there was a ride to be taken to Magarpatta. This was not indicated first. If it wld had been i.wld have not cancelled the first ride as advised by the driver
                  I was not carrying any cash and hence had to face a lot of challenges. I will surely go ahead with a complain to uber or maybe take this to a lawyer to sue the company.

                    I have received emails and messages from uber that all rides upto 7km will be charged Rs. 49 or less, however today i took 4 rides today and all were below 7km but still i was charged more than Rs.49 for all the rides.

                    This is not the first time i am raising an issue with uber and everytime they say that it was a technical issue. Please resolve this issue asap.

                      Sir, On 24/3/2017 at around 08:17am I booked uber from my house, the app immediately showed me the driver details and when I was waiting for him to come, he calls and tells that he has another booking and asked us to cancel as he cannot come, my father got irritated and said ok, I went to app to cancel & saw that Im being charged for cancelling and so I called the driver to come and told him to come as the app chose him and he is not coming & y should I pay for it.Drivers name is Kishore Bathina in Visakhapatnam, trip was from akkireddipalem to isukathota mvp colony.I need an explanation of drivers behaviour, he wad saying that I need to select an uber within 5km range

                        I Have Book Uber Car From Shivaji Park Dadar to Mulund Dt. 27 march 2017, Amt. Rs.60/- for Cancellation Charges, i was tired to call back Driver for 45 min, there was no response by driver. Driver No.[protected],
                        Then rebook new car Charges paid Amt rs.232 by bill & Amt.Rs.60/- charges paid for Cancellation Charges its not a my fault But Charges will paid. So What this policy by UBER.

                          Hi,

                          This is Gayathri, i booked an Uber cab on[protected] Morning. Cab driver asked me to cancel the ride when i got into the cab, as cab tire got punctured.

                          And i booked for another cab but the driver cancelled the ride without my knowledge.

                          Today[protected] i booked for a cab, Uber showed me an additional payment of 50rs due to previous cancellation.

                          I had no other option and so i paid the amount. This is ridiculous and this issue is not for the first time.

                          I need my amount to be refunded or adjusted in upcoming trips.

                            I am able to login but i am not able to apply any promo codes.It says that my account doesn't have the ability to apply any promo codes.I have already raised this complaint in uber itself but nobody is responding there.Also, they debited money for card verification but still i am not able to pay through my card.firstly, they will start those discount than deactivate the user accounts so that they can't take benefit from it.

                              I wanted to use my Yatra account to book cab which is in collaboration with Uber but since my account is deactivated now, I can't utilize the service.

                              My uber account disable, I have tries to comment the uber team but not getting response. Team should leat me know the reason why I am unable to access.
                              Just to add on it.
                              Seeing my complaint against uber india one moron called me as a Uber representative and tried doing a fraud with me but couldn't succeed.

                              I want everybody to be aware of this as this person is very smart enough to play with you, may be he would have grown up doing the same thing with his mother/sister as well.

                                The trip that i took at 6 am in the morning, i forgot my phone in the cab. we thn connected with the driver again and traced him back and went and picked up my phone from him. but since we were in a rush, i jst checked if my phone was switched on or not, but within 5 ins i got to know that my memory card was missing. and now, that driver has switched off his phone. i really need my memory card back as it is, plzzz help

                                Today I booked a cab(Uber Pool) from EC phase 1, Neeladri nagar 2nd cross to Cyber Park.At the time of booking the amount shown for the trip was Rs 35 but at the end driver took Rs 85 from me.

                                Also I never cancelled any of the uber ride in past.
                                I need clarification for this.

                                  I booked uber cab to airport and on booking it shows trip amount as 738 rs. After reaching he asked for 788 rs. as trip amount. I asked it's showing 738rs. Which I have to pay. He said it's 788. I argued with him and told him that you are overcharging. I gave him 1000 rs. but he returned only 110 rs. (He didn't returned remaining amount which is102 rs. )

                                    I booked UberGO in Ahmedabad from the newly designed Uber App. The app malfunctioned and charged me through UberHire. The design itself is faulty as the confirmation page does not clearly state the type of cab booked and the cost. End result is that I was charged Rs 540 for a ride which was under 2 kms and normally costs Rs 50. I demand Rs 490 to be returned to me, or I will not only stop using further Uber service, but I will also go to the consumer court, and charge them.

                                    I have been charged 250 rupees from Willington Island to Palarivattom while the app shows 160 rupees and the driver don't familiar with location and he roam here and there and charged me 250 rupees. I had an issue with another driver that he behaved very rudely and charged cancellation charge . So this is my last trip with Uber

                                      I have charged 50rs which is wrongly charged driver said that i cant come u cancel but it is automatically cancelled frm the driver side why i charged 50rs i need my 50 rs back u r stoling the money like this only u r running a fraud company i need my 50 rs back and the driver dont know the language hindi what he is saying i cant understand what i m saying he cant what he did i dont know i want my money back u theif i[censored]r business i not running i will earn money like this by charging 50 rs ola is better if i didnt get my money back then i will go by ola and i will tell my friends also to uninstall uber go with ola send me money back reply me soon

                                        Abusive driver.
                                        he dropped me at wrong location. 2km away from my place. He said the trip has ended. On repeated pleading he said he cant allow even his dad in the cab once the trip is over. He dropped me in a remote area far off from my Home.being new to the city I had no idea how to reach my destination. My phone was off too so I couldn't book another ride
                                        when i refused to pay he abused me and said i am inviting trouble. he asked me to give him 5 stars. luckily i had my phone discharged.
                                        i had to pay him the fare and then take an auto after walking to the main road.
                                        will uber look into this? or should i file an FIR?

                                        Better you proceed with FIR since Uber not responding with customer complaint. So you may go to file a complaint in Police station / File a complaint in Consumer Court.
