I booked a ride from​ my place which is nibm road to Magarpatta city. I called the driver and he was unable to find my address and hence he asked me to canx the ride and book again. (I have the call recordings) i canx the ride to book another one but was not able to as i was using my paytm accnt. It said need min balance of 350 to book ride. I had almost 400 in my paytm wallet. Aftr checking on paytm found out that the amount 350 is kept on hold by uber as there was a ride to be taken to Magarpatta. This was not indicated first. If it wld had been i.wld have not cancelled the first ride as advised by the driver
I was not carrying any cash and hence had to face a lot of challenges. I will surely go ahead with a complain to uber or maybe take this to a lawyer to sue the company.

    I have received emails and messages from uber that all rides upto 7km will be charged Rs. 49 or less, however today i took 4 rides today and all were below 7km but still i was charged more than Rs.49 for all the rides.

    This is not the first time i am raising an issue with uber and everytime they say that it was a technical issue. Please resolve this issue asap.

      Sir, On 24/3/2017 at around 08:17am I booked uber from my house, the app immediately showed me the driver details and when I was waiting for him to come, he calls and tells that he has another booking and asked us to cancel as he cannot come, my father got irritated and said ok, I went to app to cancel & saw that Im being charged for cancelling and so I called the driver to come and told him to come as the app chose him and he is not coming & y should I pay for it.Drivers name is Kishore Bathina in Visakhapatnam, trip was from akkireddipalem to isukathota mvp colony.I need an explanation of drivers behaviour, he wad saying that I need to select an uber within 5km range

        I Have Book Uber Car From Shivaji Park Dadar to Mulund Dt. 27 march 2017, Amt. Rs.60/- for Cancellation Charges, i was tired to call back Driver for 45 min, there was no response by driver. Driver No.[protected],
        Then rebook new car Charges paid Amt rs.232 by bill & Amt.Rs.60/- charges paid for Cancellation Charges its not a my fault But Charges will paid. So What this policy by UBER.
        Please I Want Return My Cancellation Charges.

          Hi,

          This is Gayathri, i booked an Uber cab on[protected] Morning. Cab driver asked me to cancel the ride when i got into the cab, as cab tire got punctured.

          And i booked for another cab but the driver cancelled the ride without my knowledge.

          Today[protected] i booked for a cab, Uber showed me an additional payment of 50rs due to previous cancellation.

          I had no other option and so i paid the amount. This is ridiculous and this issue is not for the first time.

          I need my amount to be refunded or adjusted in upcoming trips.

            I am able to login but i am not able to apply any promo codes.It says that my account doesn't have the ability to apply any promo codes.I have already raised this complaint in uber itself but nobody is responding there.Also, they debited money for card verification but still i am not able to pay through my card.firstly, they will start those discount than deactivate the user accounts so that they can't take benefit from it.

              Uber has Deactivated my account and when asked they say that they don't have any information for the same.

              I wanted to use my Yatra account to book cab which is in collaboration with Uber but since my account is deactivated now, I can't utilize the service.

              My uber account disable, I have tries to comment the uber team but not getting response. Team should leat me know the reason why I am unable to access.
              Just to add on it.
              Seeing my complaint against uber india one moron called me as a Uber representative and tried doing a fraud with me but couldn't succeed.

              I want everybody to be aware of this as this person is very smart enough to play with you, may be he would have grown up doing the same thing with his mother/sister as well.

                The trip that i took at 6 am in the morning, i forgot my phone in the cab. we thn connected with the driver again and traced him back and went and picked up my phone from him. but since we were in a rush, i jst checked if my phone was switched on or not, but within 5 ins i got to know that my memory card was missing. and now, that driver has switched off his phone. i really need my memory card back as it is, plzzz help

                Hi,

                Today I booked a cab(Uber Pool) from EC phase 1, Neeladri nagar 2nd cross to Cyber Park.At the time of booking the amount shown for the trip was Rs 35 but at the end driver took Rs 85 from me.

                Also I never cancelled any of the uber ride in past.
                I need clarification for this.

                  I booked uber cab to airport and on booking it shows trip amount as 738 rs. After reaching he asked for 788 rs. as trip amount. I asked it's showing 738rs. Which I have to pay. He said it's 788. I argued with him and told him that you are overcharging. I gave him 1000 rs. but he returned only 110 rs. (He didn't returned remaining amount which is102 rs. )

                    I booked UberGO in Ahmedabad from the newly designed Uber App. The app malfunctioned and charged me through UberHire. The design itself is faulty as the confirmation page does not clearly state the type of cab booked and the cost. End result is that I was charged Rs 540 for a ride which was under 2 kms and normally costs Rs 50. I demand Rs 490 to be returned to me, or I will not only stop using further Uber service, but I will also go to the consumer court, and charge them.

                    Lost Mobile in Uber on 18/03/2017
                    UBER Charge me price of 19.75 km. But in actual 9.6 km in google map.
                    I have been charged 250 rupees from Willington Island to Palarivattom while the app shows 160 rupees and the driver don't familiar with location and he roam here and there and charged me 250 rupees. I had an issue with another driver that he behaved very rudely and charged cancellation charge . So this is my last trip with Uber

                        Abusive driver.
                        he dropped me at wrong location. 2km away from my place. He said the trip has ended. On repeated pleading he said he cant allow even his dad in the cab once the trip is over. He dropped me in a remote area far off from my Home.being new to the city I had no idea how to reach my destination. My phone was off too so I couldn't book another ride
                        when i refused to pay he abused me and said i am inviting trouble. he asked me to give him 5 stars. luckily i had my phone discharged.
                        i had to pay him the fare and then take an auto after walking to the main road.
                        will uber look into this? or should i file an FIR?

                        Better you proceed with FIR since Uber not responding with customer complaint. So you may go to file a complaint in Police station / File a complaint in Consumer Court.

                          In mumbai . Trip was from juhu to mahim in a wagon r . The no nof the car was 7427 and the drivers name was raes . I have the details on my email . I have left my i phone 6 plus at the back of the seat of this car . I dont know how to contct the driver . Please have him call me urgent on [protected] . Its strange that i cannot reach my driver as the mobile no of the driver is not mentioned on the email .

                            I had booked uber go at2108hrs from igi terminal 3 arrivals to come to gurgaon.
                            after i got the drivers contact just called to give him my exact location.first he asked me where i had to go when i informed him to gurgaon he advised that i had to pay an tax of inr 150 at the airport i said ok u give me the receipt i shall pay u. on hearing this he said forget it and he cancelled the trip.just to avoid the confusion i took a black and yellow cab as it was getting late.
                            please advise my asking for receipt was wrong??? on this simple thing you cancel the trip.this is the 2nd incidence in a row that has happened with me regarding the uber drivers.
                            this is not accepted.

                              I have been availing uber services for several months and I had no problem in it. But today's​ ride was the worst one. My driver's name is Muruganandam and his car is Ford Icon with registration number TN 22BM 7459. He was so rude in his behaviour and speach. He was so unprofessional. He was even smoking inside the car before I entered, but I was able to smell it, which was so uncomfortable. When I asked him about this he cooley said me to lodge a complaint. Is he so careless because he thinks there won't be any action taken? So I request you to take the needy action. I hope this doesn't repeat again.

                                Myself Amit Verma from Ahmedabad, Gujrat. I am having the uber app installed in my mobile number [protected] & I use your cabs service regularly.

                                Today I was checking uber app & in notification's head there was a message- "UBERGO Rides for flat Rs 50"- Starting today, all your ubergo rides will be flat rs 50 upto 8 kms and capped at rs 100 upto 15 kms, in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. I booked a ubergo from my mobile app using mobile number [protected] & completed a trip from, Suprabh apt, Shrinand nagar, Ahmedabad-380051 to Gulbai Tekrara Rd, Natraj Society, Ahmedabad-380006...The trip kms was just 6.82 kms and trip duration was just 17.49 minutes...There was absoultely no traffic on roads & no stoppage were taken still I was charged Rs 83.72 for the same trip. I am attaching the screenshot for the notification & and the receipt.

                                Why are you fooling people giving them notifications yourself and then you overchage the way you want...Pathetic !!!

                                I need an explanation for that !!! immediately please.

                                DISAPPOINTMENT CONTINUES…..

                                Today again I was checked uber app & in notification's head there was the same message- "UBERGO Rides for flat Rs 50"- Starting today, all your ubergo rides will be flat rs 50 upto 8 kms and capped at rs 100 upto 15 kms, in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. I booked a ubergo from my mobile app using mobile number [protected] & completed a trip from Suprabh apt, Shrinand nagar, Ahmedabad-380051 to Gulbai Tekrara Rd, Natraj Society, Ahmedabad-380006...Today the trip kms was just 6.81 kms and trip duration was just 19.06 minutes...Today again there was very less traffic on roads & no stoppage was taken, I was charged Rs 51.21 for the subjected trip with an receipt stating that I was supposed to get charged Rs 84.93 today but as there was a credit of Rs 33.72 (Which you people overcharged from me yesterday) it is Rs 51.21 . I am attaching the screenshot for the notification & and the receipt.

                                My point is, as per your current offers/schemes I was supposed to get charged Rs 50 for my yesterday’s trip & again Rs 50 for my today’s trip, that makes a total of Rs 100 & all I really paid to you people- Yesterday Rs 83.72 & today Rs 51.21 a total of Rs 134.93. Yesterday I got overcharged & you people said that it was because a “TECHNICAL GLITCH” & today also the the same story got repeated & I was again overcharged, now what will you say now, that once again your so called “TECHNICAL GLITCH” continues !!!

                                My question remains the same that why are you fooling people giving them notifications yourself and then you people overchage the way you want...Pathetic!!! I was not wrong yesterday when I said that you people are really making your customers fool…..

                                Need an quick explanation & resolution. Kindly make the necessary refunds thus I can uninstall your app & start using some other genuine CAB services.

                                  The journey was cancelled by the driver (not me) in some months ago... But the fare was added with my new ride... Just totally irritating and very dispointed... I am totally shocked... Very poor service... If driver was not interested to service properly, then why are you open your service????? I'm ready to book that ride but your driver was cancelled the ride... Why I pay the bill?????

                                    I was overcharged for a trip that showed 223 rupees but on arriving i was charged 1414 rupees. After complaining for many days they finally gave me the money back in form o[censored]ber credits and not cash through which i had paid. Well, i accepted it and then a friend asked me to book them a ride but it was deducting the fare from my credits but he had to pay through cash so i logged out and used a different account to try to book a ride. It failed and i tried to log back in and book the ride anyway. But it still didn’t work. After contacting them i found out that they suspended my account with almost 800 rupees stuck there for using multiple accounts. Now, if that was not allowed then they shouldn’t have made it possible to create more than one account per device but they chose to suspend the account since i had money stuck there.

                                    I would like for them to either lift the suspension or refund the credits to the linked paytm account.

                                    I also forgot to mention that they asked for my ID proof and even though they had no right to ask for it I sent them a picture of my voter ID anyway. Then they asked to verify the phone number and I asked them to proceed with it but they didn’t and instead told me that they have decided to keep the account suspended.

                                      When booked on 20/3/17to go to maxcure hospital, it gave me Rs. 120 to reach. But when I got down it had showed 278Rs in drivers mobile, and he started saying it is a outstanding bill. I never has playtime, card payment etc... Always paying by cash. Same problem was there, when I came on the same day back. That time the driver was not ready to go. Again it was showing the outdtanding payment+my actual trip money. So Pls help me. I have stopped booking uber, thinking same problem I have to face.

                                        My aunt took a ride back to home (Aramghar in the evening) and after a while she realised that she left her phone in the car and she called cab driver the driver told I don't have it and dis-connected and after that he is not picking up the call. Also my aunts phone has been turned off.

                                        Whenever I use Barcode which is provided by urself only I didn't get any such type of off trip. Last time I used it and I didn't get it wanna know what's the matter u, urself are provideing Barcode for free rides.
