I booked Uber on 13th March 2017, for post pick up the later day i.e on 14th march 2017 btw 4:40 to 4:55 am. I even recieved a message from uber, saying schedule pickup is coming soon. I had flight at 7, i planned accordingly. When i called the driver he refused to come saying it is quite far, he asked me to cancel the ride. I denied cancelling my ride, driver mentioned "do whatever you wish to, i wont come". Early morning getting transport is troublesome, I somehow managed my way to airport.

If this is the condition o[censored]ber, i can say, either we have to plan alternative dis trusting uber or people wil hardly opt for so.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Driver charged 459 Rs for the ride whereas it show 160-240 while booking.
Previous day i booked to same route, the driver charged 161 rs, but the next day it is more than double amount.

If we ask the driver he says, complain to the company are police as the bill is generated by the company app.

    I Kanwarjit Singh, Mobile number [protected]. I regularly use Uber cab. I recently refer a friend for getting 3 free rides. His number is [protected]. But he also couldn't​ get free ride. Even I refer another Mobile number of mine (Reliance jio [protected]). I got coupon on that number even i get messages also. But i could not book ride through my Reliance jio number. Always there is shown that mobile number not working.

    While booking the UberGo, it has shown a fare of Rs. 49.54 but after arriving there following the route chosen by driver without any of my interference, It showed a bill amount of Rs. 80.54 and I had to pay that. It happened with me on 8/3/2017 at 15:31 at Kolkata.

      For some unknown reason my account has been disabled and I am unable to login. And the customer support o[censored]ber does not respond to emails. No phone numbers to call them.
      They cannot be so arrogant and disable customers according to their whims without any proper reason.

      Please look into this.
      If they do not respond properly, we need to ban Uber.

        I had booked a cab on 12 march 2017 and the driver told me that he would be at my pick up point in 5 minutes but after 10 minutes i called him and he was not picking up his phone. I called him about 12 to 15 times and he still never picked up and i was compelled to cance. In the evening i took a cab and was charged rs 80/- for cancellation of the afternoon trip. I would like you to refund the ame to me so that i can use it on my next trip. Since the fault was not mine i will not pay. I would like you to take up the issue with the concerned driver. My mobile number is [protected] you can verify.

        The uber company charges for cancellation in my next ride. cancellation is a very normal thing. This is highly unethical. If we make them wait for more than 5 min, they charge in your next ride. Fraudulents

          Today I booked Uber from Sitra to Saravanampatti. Driver confirmed the pick up point via phone and did not come for pick up for abt half an hour.. he switched off his phone after my call. I did cancellation after waiting and charges were also deducted... he switched On his mobile once charges were deducted!!! worst service!!! Got impression to never hire uber.

            This is to inform u that I have been wrongly charged a cancellation fee...The pool passenger and my route where two opposite directions ...Why would i pool with him ...I[censored] look at my past trips and my regular route you would understand ...Why would I change my route ...Yes I understand ur pool system but an entire different route from da regular is not accepted ...Hence u need to refund ASAP... I HV had issues with Uber in da past hence I HV minimized taking it too often ...But seems like I would have to stop all together if issues r not resolved soon.

              I called a UberGo cab from Institute of engineering and technology, Sitapur Road, Lucknow to Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow...On the app estimated charges were shown about Rs 182-230, but on completion of the journey the payable amount shown was Rs 617... I was charged three times the money displayed on the application of the Under India... I demand refund of the extra money which I had to pay for the trip...

              In Hinjewadi area it is observed that Uber cab services displays way high surcharges in evenings.. Specially on Fridays there is an exponential growth in surcharges
              Respected sir,
              I had taken a ride from my place to bandra on 5 march.I applied for a promo code of 50%off inspire of the discount amount being displayed, the driver took the original amount and not the discounted amount.
              I request you to take strict action regarding this as this is not the first time of this insident.

                The driver, given to me, by uber used an abusive word against me, as well as my Family Member. And, he also threatened me, that he was a local person. He abused me, as well as my Mother.he even started to threaten me by saying that hr is a local person. If this is true, then firstly, the reason for the verbal argument itself would noy arise. But he could not understand the direction of my GPS, and also started to use abusive and derogatory words against me as well as my Family Member(s).What am I supposed to do now? Please help.

                  I booked an Uber Go with a ride estimate of Rs 370 from Mithibai College to CST. When the trip ended it showed the fare at Rs 620. I paid for the toll as well and this was my first ride with Uber and I am highly disappointed with this kind of services. I seek a refund of 250 Rs into my account ASAP. I also complained to the driver but the driver told me to comtact the company for any grievances. I hope that you get in touch with me quickly.

                    2day 11 Mar at abt 1100hrs, I booked Uber Chennai from saidapet 2 Periyar Ngr. D driver not pickup frm d selected point, when I called him, he said he already passed d point nd cannot comeback, advd me 2 cancl. I cnceld. But immediately, i booked uber for d same destination. I had 2 pay d ride fare nd cancellation charge of Rs.50 which is not fair.

                        This is to tell you that I got a promo code of 25%off on my ride and I applied it. Today I booked a ride and the price before booking showed 93 and then 25%off but after my ride was completed the price was very high it was 180 that showed in drivers phone but when I got the message it showed 112. And then in the evening I booked again it showed 103 and then 25% off but then the amount was 105 that showed in drivers phone. I never expected this type of response. This is the first time it happened to me and it was not all acceptable. If this happens again I'm sorry I'll not bike from your app.

                          Staff misbehaved with owner and didn't allow me(owner) and driver to give feedback. He said we don't allow to give feedback to uber by customers. I have made his video as well. I can give it i[censored] proceed further. He was abusive with me. He said we are helpless to do anything. He told that you are employee o[censored]ber and working under uber. He said go out if you want to give feedback.

                            I booked an uber today to take my pet to her vet . She is extremely serious and needed to get to the vet ASAP . As soon as I sat in the car, the driver blatantly told me to get out of the car as the car is to ride humans around and not animals . He even abused me and tried to misbehave . After I for down he was not ready to leave my building and kept on irritating me . This is pathetic . His language was vulgar the watchman's had to throw him out of the society .                                 I would like to bring to your attention a road rage incident that took place on 8-Mar-2017 around 5:15 PM at Arakere Gate traffic signal on Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore.

                                An Uber Taxi with Registration Number KA 51 C 9100 (Photo attached) was blocking the left lane at the green signal though he had his right indicator on and wanted to take a right at the junction. I was driving in my car just behind this taxi, and after persistently alerting the taxi driver by honking I managed to have him move to the right so that I could pass. (Note this is a very busy junction and it take nearly 5 minutes to get a green signal and this driver had block the entire left lane.).

                                However, after I passed the traffic signal this Uber taxi driver instead of taking his right decided to follow me and blocked my car TWICE after the traffic signal in a rash and dangerous manner, blocking the entire traffic on the road, came out and started hurling vulgar abuses at me and also threatened me of dire consequences if I ever try this with him again. He also mentioned that "He has seen enough people like me and knows how to deal with such people."

                                Drivers mannerism and language indicated that he indeed could even physically hurt anyone in such circumstances and can be a great threat to commuters on the road.

                                In the best interest of other commuters I take this opportunity to register this complain again this Uber taxi driver and request your organization to take strict action against him in this regard.

                                FYI, I have also registered a complaint at the local traffic police station regarding this matter.

                                  Today evening I booked one Uber from Ganeshguri by standing at GS road near Flyover adjacent to the car passing way towards Zoo road for my journey to my home near Zoo. The driver of the Uber car (Alto, Phone no [protected]) pick up my phone and I explained him my location. As the car is not arriving I ring him again about 8 to 10 minute from my first call. I am surprised that he told me he is waiting in somewhere else despite clearly explaining my location in the first call and keeping my Location and Data on in my mobile. This time also I explained my location to the driver once again and requested him to come immediately to pick up me. But he did not arrive and instead of that he cancelled my booking. I ring him third time. But he did not pick up my phone. After that I request another Uber car. This time one Swift Dizire picked up me from the same location where I was waiting about 15 to 20 minute for the Uber Alto of driver having phone no [protected].

                                  Cancellation was done by Uber Alto Driver having phone no [protected], while I was waiting more than 15 minutes for him and called 3 times from my phone. He did not ring me even once. Even then Uber have cut Rs. 40 as penalty from me which I have to paid to the Uber Dzire driver having phone no [protected].

                                  This is my worst ever experience in UBER. You please control the bad elements (drivers) in your domain. Otherwise your reputation will vanish definitely.

                                  today when I was scrolling down my messages is saw that I was overcharged by Rs895.50. I am surprised and wonder how this is possible !

                                      I took a share ride from DN Nagar metro station to InOrbit Malad on 6th March at 5.15pm. The bill was rs 59 and i paid promptly on getting in the cab. At the time of alighting I was shocked to see the bill at rs 228/- The driver told me that this is the balance due of past trips for which I had not paid. I refused to pay . The driver chased me . I had an urgent work to finish and had to head back and could not deal with the driver. Then he called me saying he is reporting me to the police. Later he called on 7th March at 1.30 am in the night. Then he sent abusive messages on whatsapp calling me an international Chor.

                                      On analysing the bill I came to know that the excess is on account of two trips which I had cancelled after booking 3 months back. I had no memory of the same.

                                      Following needs to be addressed
                                      1) Why is UBER India allowing a passenger to use UBER without first settling past dues ?
                                      2) Why do I as a passenger do not have any idea that there are past dues on the account ?
                                      3) Why do I get a shock on seeing a bill of rs 228 when the bill at the time of taking the ride is rs 59 ?
                                      4) Why is the driver calling me and threatening me to take me to the police ?
                                      5) Why is the driver calling me at 1.30 am in the night ?
                                      6) Why is the driver sending me the choicest of abuse in hindi and calling me an international chor ?
                                      7) What is UBER doing so that these unfair trade practices are not followed with anyone else in the future ?

                                        I rode on 7th Mar on uber ..he cheated to me charged total 100% fare amount and didn't gave back us 50% promotion code amount.. he also spoke lied and had bad argument with us.. please take strict action against him...driver also had take advantage of women innocence.. uber shoud canceled this type of bad men..now it's clear that uber ride is also not safe for women its can happen anything with women if have specially this types of *****s.

Sorry for the confusion around the fare for this ride. i can see that the promotion got applied to this trip. unfortunately, due to a technical glitch, the driver partner's device displayed the full amount and the same was collected from you. Since this doesn't seem fair, I've added uber credicts worth INR 68.08 to your profile to account for the additional cash collected from you on this trip. now complaint has been resolved.. Thanks for your help..
