In the Uber app i use, Uber claims, " every 6th ride is free with digital payment". And every time they will either restart the loop when it gets to 6th ride. Either Remove that misleading ad/claim or don't restart the loop again. This is the 2nd time it has happened. earlier they had claimed 0 of 4 ride. And again had restarted the loop with 0 of 6 trips

When I booked my ride it's shows 270rs after complete my ride it's shows 860rs ..how it will comes?? ¿??????

Uber service is toooooooo bad and worst. ..I WILL INTIMATE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS.. DONT USE THIS UBER RIDE

    This is about the financial loss I've been suffering since some days. A few days back I boarded a cab through Paytm which cost me 554 rupees as my fare. Since then, whenever I tried booking a cab, I failed to book and was shown a message i.e. "Error in booking due to outstanding amount of 554rs", even though that amount was already deducted from my Paytm a/c. I still tried selecting mode of payment to 'clear due', out of options given, which included 'Paytm and Card' but despite trying got a notification on screen saying, 'Something went wrong'. I removed my app and re-installed it. After re-installing, I saw that all my previous trips have disappeared and it says no trips. Assuming that the problem has been resolved, I tried adding Paytm as a payment method before booking a cab, but got a notification saying something like 'card_error_outstanding'. After repetitively trying adding that mode, I finally had to book a cab through cash. To my surprise, I was charged 720 rupees for a trip from GD Goenka University, Sohna Road to C-8 Vasant Kunj whereas the trip fare should've been 550 rupees and today afternoon I booked a cab again through cash as mode of payment from GD Goenka University to HUDA City Centre, and was charged 430 rupees instead of 273 as estimated fare. Which simply means, that first of all I was charged 554 from my Paytm account days back, then stupidly given a notification of 'an outstanding amount of 554 rupees' and after an attempt of reinstalling the app, I wasn't allowed to add Paytm as a mode of payment and now I'm being charged that outstanding amount of rupees 554 in smaller divisions of money through cash in my recent rides. I want a refund. I'm being harassed like crazy.

      Hello there, I am bound to write this mail as I am really disappointed from the service of my last ride which I took today i.e. on 21st February...I choosed a destination to Mukherjee Nagar from my location I.e. Hans Apparent, Shadhara..The route was only 12 kms from my location, I will be supporting my statement because to 2 reasons namely-
      1. I took the same route from uber on yesterday only and was only 11.84kms, which you can check from my history.
      2.I entered destination to Mukherjee Nagar today at the time of booking my cab.
      But today's driver took a very bad route and as I travelled 13.95 kms and I was still 15 kms from Mukherjee Nagar as a result thereof I was bound myself to stop my cab in between and took a metro instead for Mukherjee Nagar, and when I asked my driver about the same he told ' He don't know what wrong with the Google maps today, and it is today showing very bad results'. I was like is that a joke?
      I got late for my meeting, late for my office and lost my client, which cannot be compensated at any cost.
      I question what uber provide for reply upon this ?
      I am keen to know how can be a customer still be satisfied from your reply..
      It is not a question of refund of ₹175 it's about the quality of service and harrassment as well.
      I think Customer forum is meant to satisfy the customer dissatisfaction, Wow should i really appreciate about UBER'S reply ?
      Well I didn't find any reason to opt UBER next time. l am highly dissatisfied about today's driver service, moreover more disappointed about UBERS Customer Service reply..According to you if a driver travels you unnecessary 13.95 kms at the cost of the customer money & time and (original destination is ought to be only 12kms only), was still 15 kms away, it is fine i[censored]BER finds its to be within UBER'S estimation..
      Your reply is stated as under
      "We've reviewed the fare for this ride and realized that even the driver Aslam took some wrong turns, the fare was not affected and it was within our estimate"

      I got a new dimension of "some wrong turns", it means 13.95 Kms..
      In simple words if your travel distance is only 12 kms and if a driver makes its 13.95+15 kms = 28.95 it is fine because according to UBER it is UBER'S estimation..

      WOW, Great work.
      Now i find no reason to opt for UBER again, and will be forwarding this to my family and friends and would also sharing this on Social media unless no action taken about this issue..I would also ask them to not to go for UBER next time..

        I am S. Thejaseino. Took uber from safdarjung enclave Delhi to DLF promonade.. Charge shown in my phone before and after the ride is rs. 129.
        While the driver took rs.189 from me. Kindly explain as to why that happened. Driver's fault or system error.?? This never happen before. I don't remember cancelling any uber trip. Therefore there's no reason to charge cancellation fee etc. Many a times we just let go rs5-10 when we don't have change. Kindly find who /what went wrong so that this is not
        repeated in future.

          The Uber X was booked from Street no 14 Alkapuri in Hyderabad to Nampalli Railway Station. The actual charge was Rs 475.64. But the driver demanded Rs 800 and did not leave us untill we paid Rs 800. It is highly unacceptable. The reason he gives that we are 7 people (with two young girls of age 9y and 15y) but the vehicle is meant for 6 people. The point is, he mentions it before the biginning of the trip and agrees to take all 7 passingers. On the contrary while I was paying for the trip, he demanded Rs 800. Please fix the exploitation.

            One day before writing this complaint I registered my number in UBER app . And due to something I was not able to login. I contacted uber support for the same . After initial investigation they solved my issue and I was able to login with temporary password. Somehow I my email id wasn't updated in app and asked to update my email id . Later I got a reply from UBER is that my account is suspended and their decision is final . I am asking them what is the reason but they are not giving proper reason for suspension. Now I have left contacting them . I feel UBER is really arrogant in providing services and this is really a very bad experience for me.

              I booked uber after seeing estimated fare...
              My mother got into cab and ride started and then received msg saying you will be charged 2.1x of normal rates..
              What the passenger is supposed to do when he or she already en route...
              Whats the use of these kind of services?
              7:15am ride with 2.1x surcharge is terrible and cannot be accepted.
              How to resolve this and make uber better

                The uber driver was called to come at gold souk around 6.45 pm on 14 feb, 2017 .he came there and called me, i told him to come inside and turn the car and pick us but he didn't like what i said and he didn't compromise to come there. What he did was he suddenly cut the phone and again he didn't pick my call and he didn't either come to pick also.. i had to.cancel that ride and book for another .

                  Standard o[censored]ber is degrading day by day. I missed an International flight on 20 feb because of one of your cunning drivers. I scheduled a ride a day before and when driver called I told him I have to go to Terminal 3 delhi, to which he agreed but came 15 minutes late. Then I told him to come to my building as I had 30 kg luggage. He refused to enter into the society although he was allowed and he said he cant accommodate the luggage even though he had Honda Amaze. After much argument he agreed to take the luggage but I had to carry 2 bags to gate of my society as I had no other choice. When I was about to sit in his cab, he said he had received a message and he wont take me to terminal 3. I was so furious at him. I asked him what should I do now to which he responded madam take an auto and he drove off. It was 8 in the night. I tried to find another vehicle but I got late and missed my flight. On the top of it, I received a message from uber that I did not board the cab and I was charged 60Rs as cancellation fee!!. What the hell is happenning here?

                  If you do not want me escalate this on social media or file a legal case against you guys, I request you right away take an action against this driver. I want his driver license cancelled. Such people should not be allowed to run commercial vehicles. Below are the details of the ride and driver.

                    Good evening,
                    I am writing this email to talk to you'll about your service regarding uber and paytm. So let me tell you a story of how i was left really angry with Uber last night.
                    I arrived at the chennai airport at 2am last night and booked a cab to take me to my destination using paytm. The taxi driver did not speak a word of english or hindi but only tamil. He did not understand me and cancelled my ride. I called for a second taxi to pick me up from the airport and again same story. He did not understand english or hindi and cancelled.
                    The problem arose when i went to book my third taxi. I had around 500 bucks in my paytm wallet while booking the first two cabs. While booking the third one it did not book as the Uber app requires atleast rs 350 minimum balance. I checked my paytm and saw that Uber was holding my Rs 350 till 7 am and i didn't have enough balance to book another cab. Now just imagine if i didn't have any physical money on me i would have been stranded. That's number one.
                    On top of that Uber had the odacisty to take away my Rs 50 from paytm because the cab drivers cancelled the rides twice! How could you'll be so unreasonable that you hold my money for 5 hours and on top of that deduct my money?
                    You think its a joke to be stuck in a new city without having paytm balance at 2 am in the morning? Thankfully i had enough money with me to get me to my destination.
                    Uber please make sure that your drivers can atleast understand english or hindi.
                    Now the least you can do is give me my 50 bucks back on paytm. Wallet txn id: [protected].

                      Today I booked a uber cab Chevrolet beat white color no. CH 1295 driver gurdeep . I booked it from ror bhawan mansa Devi complex sec 4 panchkula to phase 7 mohali sector 61. The estimate given was about RS.208 and there were no surge charges but when we reached our destination the driver charged us RS. 468 telling us that there was a surge charge of ×1.4 and he disnt start fare in front o[censored]s
                      how's this posssible it can only be possible i[censored]ber is fraud or driver was involved in some sort of malpractice . this is utter nonsense .
                      Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                        On 18 Feb 2017 around 8.24 P. M. we booked Uber from C-3507 mini LIG rajajipuram Lucknow to A-109 Shivpuri kalyanpur opposite to jagrani hospital Lucknow. I booked Uber at a fare estimation of Rs. 177.56 and it was showing that the car will be delay for 24 minutes.Okay we kept waiting. The driver name was Anil he picked us from our given location.First he didn't ask us to start the trip fare so that he will apply per km fare cost, and then when he dropped us on our given destination he showed us that the total fare was Rs. 259. As I booked cab on Rs. 177 how can he asked us higher fare. As I book cab mostly from Uber company. I really trust this company and I kindly request you to take action against this.                         Uber there is no contact Number no official good system to complain against Uber Staff for their misbehave with customer use rude and slang language and over charge. How they get permission in India without ensure all of this.
                        Uber must be pay for that. I hope Government and Court take immediate actions against Uber for there cheating with customer. I search there website to complain against Uber staff but no way or scope in there official website.
                        I had booked a uber cab for my friend in the pool category from girish park to rabindra sarobar metro station.The amount charged was 97 rupees.He had made the payment but the drivers uber app was not working properly so he didnt updated the payement and i was charged 97 in my nest trip with uber.The trip was taken on 19.1.17 at 12.23pm

                          Promo code or offers are given to bengaluru trip only, whereas i am residing at mysore and most of the time i am in mysore,
                          Pl review the above issue and give the offers for mysore trips.
                          Earlier complaint is not resolved, it was regarding trip booked for the first time in bengaluru and the driver didn't turn up and also don't answer to my calls, i was forced to book another trip with out cancelling the first one, my promo free trips rs 50 was debited and didn't refund in spite of complaining

                            Uber gave an offer that was valid from 13th Feb to 18th Feb in Lucknow that any trip till 8km will be charged only ₹79. I made two trips today which were less than 8km But the discount was not given as per the ongoing offer at that time. It was displayed that if the distance was more than 8km or time more than 30min then a discount of ₹40 would be given and if the trip is upto 8km then only ₹79 would be charged. Although the discount was not given as promised and I was charged ₹108 for one trip and ₹109 for another.
                            I am a regular customer o[censored]ber then also I was cheated. Ask uber to return my remaining money else I will stop using it. My no is [protected] and email is yogi.[protected]@gmail.com. Such fake offers shall not be flashed as they misguide the customers. Also I can check still this offer is flashing.

                              Hello Sir,

                              First of all, there is no way to contact UBER India either by an email or phone or message to complain about the gross irregularities inflicted on the consumers to UBER India. In the interest of all the Consumer using UBER services, there is a immediate and URGENT need to provide their contact information separately for Complaints in their website. This is a restrictive practice by UBER India.

                              On Feb 9, 2017 around 9.36 am I took UBER Taxi - A Maruti Suzuki SWIFT Dzire of Karnataka registration for travelling a distance of 6 kms. (From Jayanagar 9th Block to UttaraHalli, Bangalore.They charged me Rs549 for the services. The details are in the attached PDF file.

                              1) The all inclusive maximum charges fixed by RTO, Karnataka is Rs13/km. Hence, I need to pay Rs78 only which is the normal fare. At the time of booking the service, I was not apprised of any surging charges. The attached bill shows that minimum is Rs549. How they worked out I do not know and I was not informed before hand. Nobody, either the Karnataka Govt or myself agreed for the charges.

                              2) The practice of hiding the approx charges before the booking is confirmed is becoming a common feature o[censored]BER to exploit the innocent consumers. They have no choice except to pay the amount at the end of the journey. I am sure UBER is resorting to this practice regularly and exploiting lot of Consumers. This should be put to an end.

                              3) I need to be refunded the excess amount of Rs471 immediately by UBER. Similarly, all the consumers who were exploited like this should be refunded.

                              On 8th Dec 2016, I used Uber & was trying to pay through Paytm . Since the payment did not get through, I paid by cash- Rs 279.94.

                              Now when I took the next trip on 12th Feb 2017, Uber app has considered that I have not paid the cash & charged me again.

                              So I am requesting for a refund.

                                I had successfully registered for uber an year back or so, but last month i tried using my account i couldn't log in (30 January 2017), i requested the customer care to see whats wrong with this but they came with same reply each and every time i asked a question.
                                I tried resetting my details but no use of it, the genius reply which they sent each time was we cant do anything and you cant use our service with given details.
                                i asked them the reason behind this but they couldn't answer and simply said sorry and their work was done.
                                I'm attaching the screenshots of my conversation with the technical staff o[censored]ber so that you can see how unprofessional these people are.
                                i demand an explanation right away from these unethical people!

                                  Train ticket fare is Rs 4300.

                                    On 10th Feb 2017, I took an Uber go from Surat railway station. When I booked the cab at that time the cost for the whole trip was showing Rs 125.81. After reaching to the destination when driver ended the ride at that time the final fare was showing Rs 53.38. So the driver told me that due to some GPS problem this happens so pay me that much amount which showed me at the time of booking and I paid it thinking of it as technical issue. But the problem lies when I took an another cab on 15th Feb, the final fare of the trip should be of Rs 128 but in actual it was Rs 210 and the driver of that trip told me that the remaining extra 84 Rs is of my last trip pending amount. I paid almost twice for a single trip.
                                    This is just disgusting, I have never experienced this kind of worst service ever. Also, this is also a worst rule o[censored]ber to charge customer 50 Rs for cancelling it after 5mins. If you want to carry on with this than make an another rule for from driver side too. They makes their customer to wait for another 15-20mins and if they don't wish to take ride after then they cancel it. It is already happened with me more than 7-8 times. They even don't care if their can be an emergency from customer side.
                                    In addition to this, the Uber drivers are just looking for those areas where their is high surge going on as to complete their day task, Doesn't matter if any of their other customer is in need for cab.
                                    From last 6 months I have experienced this problems many times. OLA charges some more than Uber but I can say that it is also providing services better than Uber.

                                      I sent the following complaint to Customer Service, Uber Taxi Services, India, by email on 15 February 2017. The concerned trip was made on 14 Feb. 2017 between 1225 hour and about 1250 hour.

                                      My name is Gouranga Rajkhowa and mobile no. is [protected]. I used an UberGo taxi (Wagoner) from X block, Regency Park II, Gurgaon (my home), to Medanta Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon. The driver's phone no. is [protected]. I forgot the driver's name and car No. On reaching the destination, I asked the driver what was the fare, to which he replied that the basic fare was indicated in my mobile before we started the journey. I remembered that the basic fare was Rs. 114 with an agreed surge pricing of 1.9x. As there was no immediate response from Uber in my phone and I was in a hurry to attend an emergency case, I went with his words and paid the driver Rs Rs. 226 and gave a five star feedback to Uber. When I requested a trip back home, to my surprise my mobile showed a past due of Rs 229.42 Even now, at the time of writing this mail, the past due is still there.

                                      Please sort out this issue immediately so that I can continue using Uber services. Being a regular customer o[censored]ber, I didn't expect this sort of service from Uber.

                                      If this issue is not sorted out immediately, I will be forced to use other services like Ola.

                                      As per their advice I tried my best to send my complaint to Uber but failed
                                      due to their complicated system of the website "help.uber.com". As an alternative, Uber India does not even have a telephone no. for contact by customers. Uber is now asking me through their app to pay them Rs 229.42. I cannot now use Uber without this repeat payment

                                      I request you to kindly help me to avoid the double payment demand which is very unfair on Uber's part.

                                      I travelled from Doddanekundi to pai layout and vice versa. For the first trip uber charged me 108rs which was acceptable. Return trip map is showing something different and I am charged with rs222. When I gave complaint they are reverting with rs 50 off and not even checking the complaint. I am not going to pay the amount and uninstalling the app

                                        I would like to launch a complaint against the Uber driver for car number: KA029133.
                                        The driver had not parked properly in the parking space and was disobeying the security officials at Brigade Metropolis at 10:14 am, when asked the driver was very abusive.
