Promo code or offers are given to bengaluru trip only, whereas i am residing at mysore and most of the time i am in mysore,
Pl review the above issue and give the offers for mysore trips.
Earlier complaint is not resolved, it was regarding trip booked for the first time in bengaluru and the driver didn't turn up and also don't answer to my calls, i was forced to book another trip with out cancelling the first one, my promo free trips rs 50 was debited and didn't refund in spite of complaining

    Uber gave an offer that was valid from 13th Feb to 18th Feb in Lucknow that any trip till 8km will be charged only ₹79. I made two trips today which were less than 8km But the discount was not given as per the ongoing offer at that time. It was displayed that if the distance was more than 8km or time more than 30min then a discount of ₹40 would be given and if the trip is upto 8km then only ₹79 would be charged. Although the discount was not given as promised and I was charged ₹108 for one trip and ₹109 for another.
    I am a regular customer o[censored]ber then also I was cheated. Ask uber to return my remaining money else I will stop using it. My no is [protected] and email is yogi.[protected]@gmail.com. Such fake offers shall not be flashed as they misguide the customers. Also I can check still this offer is flashing.

      Hello Sir,

      First of all, there is no way to contact UBER India either by an email or phone or message to complain about the gross irregularities inflicted on the consumers to UBER India. In the interest of all the Consumer using UBER services, there is a immediate and URGENT need to provide their contact information separately for Complaints in their website. This is a restrictive practice by UBER India.

      On Feb 9, 2017 around 9.36 am I took UBER Taxi - A Maruti Suzuki SWIFT Dzire of Karnataka registration for travelling a distance of 6 kms. (From Jayanagar 9th Block to UttaraHalli, Bangalore.They charged me Rs549 for the services. The details are in the attached PDF file.

      1) The all inclusive maximum charges fixed by RTO, Karnataka is Rs13/km. Hence, I need to pay Rs78 only which is the normal fare. At the time of booking the service, I was not apprised of any surging charges. The attached bill shows that minimum is Rs549. How they worked out I do not know and I was not informed before hand. Nobody, either the Karnataka Govt or myself agreed for the charges.

      2) The practice of hiding the approx charges before the booking is confirmed is becoming a common feature o[censored]BER to exploit the innocent consumers. They have no choice except to pay the amount at the end of the journey. I am sure UBER is resorting to this practice regularly and exploiting lot of Consumers. This should be put to an end.

      3) I need to be refunded the excess amount of Rs471 immediately by UBER. Similarly, all the consumers who were exploited like this should be refunded.

      On 8th Dec 2016, I used Uber & was trying to pay through Paytm . Since the payment did not get through, I paid by cash- Rs 279.94.

      Now when I took the next trip on 12th Feb 2017, Uber app has considered that I have not paid the cash & charged me again.

      So I am requesting for a refund.

        Hello,

        I had successfully registered for uber an year back or so, but last month i tried using my account i couldn't log in (30 January 2017), i requested the customer care to see whats wrong with this but they came with same reply each and every time i asked a question.
        I tried resetting my details but no use of it, the genius reply which they sent each time was we cant do anything and you cant use our service with given details.
        i asked them the reason behind this but they couldn't answer and simply said sorry and their work was done.
        I'm attaching the screenshots of my conversation with the technical staff o[censored]ber so that you can see how unprofessional these people are.
        i demand an explanation right away from these unethical people!

          Booked an Uber cab from Veeranapalya to Cantonment Railway station, Bangalore. Driver Dropped at majestic railway station . I was with my family and we missed the train.. We were 4 members...
          Train ticket fare is Rs 4300.
          Incident happened on 15th February 2017.

          Desirable resolution:
          I would request refund on the fare collected by Uber and need Uber has to pay the train fare Rs 4300. Uber India is responsible for this incident.

            On 10th Feb 2017, I took an Uber go from Surat railway station. When I booked the cab at that time the cost for the whole trip was showing Rs 125.81. After reaching to the destination when driver ended the ride at that time the final fare was showing Rs 53.38. So the driver told me that due to some GPS problem this happens so pay me that much amount which showed me at the time of booking and I paid it thinking of it as technical issue. But the problem lies when I took an another cab on 15th Feb, the final fare of the trip should be of Rs 128 but in actual it was Rs 210 and the driver of that trip told me that the remaining extra 84 Rs is of my last trip pending amount. I paid almost twice for a single trip.
            This is just disgusting, I have never experienced this kind of worst service ever. Also, this is also a worst rule o[censored]ber to charge customer 50 Rs for cancelling it after 5mins. If you want to carry on with this than make an another rule for from driver side too. They makes their customer to wait for another 15-20mins and if they don't wish to take ride after then they cancel it. It is already happened with me more than 7-8 times. They even don't care if their can be an emergency from customer side.
            In addition to this, the Uber drivers are just looking for those areas where their is high surge going on as to complete their day task, Doesn't matter if any of their other customer is in need for cab.
            From last 6 months I have experienced this problems many times. OLA charges some more than Uber but I can say that it is also providing services better than Uber.

              I sent the following complaint to Customer Service, Uber Taxi Services, India, by email on 15 February 2017. The concerned trip was made on 14 Feb. 2017 between 1225 hour and about 1250 hour.

              My name is Gouranga Rajkhowa and mobile no. is [protected]. I used an UberGo taxi (Wagoner) from X block, Regency Park II, Gurgaon (my home), to Medanta Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon. The driver's phone no. is [protected]. I forgot the driver's name and car No. On reaching the destination, I asked the driver what was the fare, to which he replied that the basic fare was indicated in my mobile before we started the journey. I remembered that the basic fare was Rs. 114 with an agreed surge pricing of 1.9x. As there was no immediate response from Uber in my phone and I was in a hurry to attend an emergency case, I went with his words and paid the driver Rs Rs. 226 and gave a five star feedback to Uber. When I requested a trip back home, to my surprise my mobile showed a past due of Rs 229.42 Even now, at the time of writing this mail, the past due is still there.

              Please sort out this issue immediately so that I can continue using Uber services. Being a regular customer o[censored]ber, I didn't expect this sort of service from Uber.

              If this issue is not sorted out immediately, I will be forced to use other services like Ola.

              As per their advice I tried my best to send my complaint to Uber but failed
              due to their complicated system of the website "help.uber.com". As an alternative, Uber India does not even have a telephone no. for contact by customers. Uber is now asking me through their app to pay them Rs 229.42. I cannot now use Uber without this repeat payment

              I request you to kindly help me to avoid the double payment demand which is very unfair on Uber's part.

              I travelled from Doddanekundi to pai layout and vice versa. For the first trip uber charged me 108rs which was acceptable. Return trip map is showing something different and I am charged with rs222. When I gave complaint they are reverting with rs 50 off and not even checking the complaint. I am not going to pay the amount and uninstalling the app

                The driver had not parked properly in the parking space and was disobeying the security officials at Brigade Metropolis at 10:14 am, when asked the driver was very abusive.

                  Hi, I have lost my phone in a uber cab while back from office. When I called driver, he completely denied that he has found any phone in cab. I keep calling on my number and the same was coming out of range and then switched off. Again I called driver next morning, he told he has cleaned whole cab and didn't find any phone. Later I blocked my both sim which was there in phone. I was suffering from fever so could go police station for lost complaints. I went police station after four days and explained the whole story. Ploce called the driver and told him to appear in police station next morning.
                  Next day he didn't come to police station and phone was switched off. Later in evening i got a call from customer care that driver has reported that he has found the lost phone and told me to contact him and schedule the plan to take back the phone. I keep chasing the driver for two weeks but he didn't submit the phone saying he is busy in trips and not getting any trips towards my place. I again complained the whole story to Uber customer care office the situation. Then i got a call from driver and he didn't talk to me properly and started scolding me for complaints against him in Uber. I again wrote a mail to customer care that I do not want to talk to driver and instruct him to submit the phone in Uber office and the same I will collect. I got a reply that driver will submit the phone in uber office on or before 4th of Feb at any cost and I can collect on Monday. But still he has not submitted phone to uber office. When I wrote back again to uber customer care, again I got a reply that I need to collect it from driver.

                  I have already requested Uber that driver is not behaving with me properly so i don not want to talk to him and collect phone from him. But support team is seems to be supporting the crime. I have written a mail that I fi do not get my phone back by today EOD, I will file a police complain against driver and hence uber for supporting crime and driver.

                  I lost my hopes that I will get my phone back but still I am writing here to get some support from this team.

                    As per the Uber pool, "You’re not the only one going your way. Share your uberX car and driver with other riders, and you’ll share the cost. So everyone gets a guaranteed fare that’s the cheapest Uber option."

                    Well that's good enough, but the trip time should not be more than Uber go +15 min.

                    For any destination we can reach in multiple routes, only one route will be best possible route and if I go in that route it takes me X amount of time but uber pool takes to the destination not in best route, it all depends on the cab availability and it takes literally 2 or 3 X time the original time. How can we rely on Uber Pool? We don't know the route till we get into cab how much time its goanna take to reach destination. Their bills always generates wrong trip distance.

                    What uber pool is doing -

                    1) Wasting time of customers.
                    2) Not providing reliable service.
                    3) Drivers are always in hurry to finish the trip to reach the weekly target so that they get incentives. Most of times Drivers in Uber pool has to talk on phone to pick another customer.

                    I raised numerous complaints to Uber but their customer service is merely waste of time. They never reply what we are asking and won’t accept mistake from their service and instead will push on to driver side. I don’t mind sharing the Email conversation had with Uber support. They don't have telephonic customer care, one of the biggest setback to customers.

                        Actually i booked my cab from kondapur to prasad imax in sharing, when i am booking it was showing estimated price is 123rs. But cab driver dropped me atvbanjarahills and it coat me 160 rs.

                        I want my money back.

                        Cab driver dropped me at banjarahills it is ok, but i got bill upto secunderabad. Who it is possible.

                          Hi,
                          I travelled from #2, 100 feet ring road hoskerehalli, Bsk 3rd stage to Cambridge hospital ulsoor(Bangalore) around 10 am on 12/02/2017 in swift desire (driver's name:sathish) but we were asked to pay in cash Rs. 216 (we paid 220) but now we see that even in my paytm account Rs.186 has been deducted for the same ride in UBER.
                          Request you to reimburse the amount back to my paytm account.

                            My paytm is zeroed and [protected], I have diligently used and paid my bills from my card or paytm acct and I have had around 600-700 rupees. I was living in chennai india, now in sydney - australia. I am not able to retrieve that acct as the above mentioned number was pune number when I was living in maharashtra. please release my money with immediate effect as you guys are not responding at all. what the bloody dash is happening with you guys. before i drag you to consumer forum, FIX IT.

                              Yesterday (9th Feb, 2017), I took a UBER service for taxi from 1026, 25th Main, 38th Cross, 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore 560041 to 18, Uttarahalli Road, Bengaluru by 9.36 am driven by one Mr. Suresh Kumar C C - Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire car covering a distance of 6 kms. The ride took exactly 23 minutes to reach the destination.. I was surprised at the destination when the UBER taxi driver demanded Rs549 for the service of providing taxi to travel for 6 Kms. When I booked the UBER taxi, they did not mention the approx.amount being charged. They simply mentioned it is a UBER boost service. This is unethical. The normal fare comes to less than Rs80 fit 6 kms ride. As pet the Karnataka Govt order, they cannot charge more than Rs13 per Km. There is no provision in the website o[censored]BER to complain such issues. This also need to be addressed. The worst part of the charge is they send me a receipt to my email which states that the calculated charges are Rs279 which is also 3.5 times the normal fare but as the minimum being Rs549, they are charging Rs549. Who has given the authority to charge such high charges? They did not bother to give a hibt about the charges when the offer is made. This kind of practice is a unethical, looting, exorbitant, no relation to the cost of service provided. Such practices should be stopped henceforth as they will continue to cheat the consumers. Please initiate to refund the excess amount of Rs469 charged from me over the normal fare of Rs80. Also, such taxi operators should not be allowed to function and their permissions to operate should be withdrawn based on complaints of this nature from various consumers.                                 Hi. I have been unable to make payment in the Uber app due to some technical issue. I have raised the same through the Support function in the App. But the issue has not been resolved for more than a month now and am unable to use the App. After raising the issue multiple time I am getting the same useless reply that "we will resolve it shortly" but no avail.

                                  I had booked thorough link sent to me for 50% off on Uber go. The cost came out to be ₹549 for 6.6km and 15 min. Which is, 5 times more than regular Uber go what to speak of discount. I could have quarrelled with the driver and not gave the amount. But we gave it. Now I demand the refund of ₹500 for this mistake o[censored]ber if you want us to continue using Uber. Else we have contact of consumer court. You decide. I want in next 72 hours.

                                  I was charged excess by uber driver.my amount of taxi was Rs.44.14..but driver charged me Rs.148.77..i want my amount refunded as early as possible..it is an humble request to you to refund me..now i am trying drivers call but he is avoiding my call and this proves that he has cheated me..please refund me my amount..

                                    The driver o[censored]ber make me wait more than 15 min and did not picked me up, but after second trip that unattanded previous trip amount was detected.
                                    I m surprised hw unprofessional u people are.
                                    Return my 50 rupee amount as soon as possible because it is totally unfair, I paid for what I did't ride and put in wait for more than 15 min.
                                    It was driver mistake but i paid, what a joke, I thought It was my last trip from uber.

                                      Recent I have been charged for cancellations Rs 50, but I have not cancel the trip infact uber guy didn't called me also and than I went for 2nd ride I thought is not going to come and that time they charged me 50rs extra. Was it my fault that your uber guy didn't called me back?

                                      And
                                      Today 1more time your uber guy told me to cancel the trip as he was not able to come my location and again you guys are going to change me 50rs extra.

                                      Being a customer I have to face so much problem Because of your uber guys. And worst part is you guys don't even have customer care number so that customer can be in pain, uber will not help.

                                      From last 4trip worst. Uber should help they customer rather than filling they pocket.

                                        My name is Saritha. am one of the UBER customer.

                                        Today i had a problem with your one of the UBER Driver. I booked the cab on pool from karkhana mcdonalds to Banjarahills road no.10, banjarahills dated 8/02/2017.After crossing the paradise signal suddenly he started driving in a wrong direction and when i questioned him the reason he behaved very rude and maintained no minimum respect to customer.On top that, he said if am not ok whichever the path he take i should get down of the cab.
                                        What the hell is that i didn't understand and totally shocked with his behavior.
                                        He continued behaving in the same manner for around 15-20 minutes till he realized all people were observing him around on the main road.
                                        I want you guys take the further action on this urgently
                                        I am very much frustrated about this incident and with your driver's rude behavior, i am going to file complaint on the car if don't get to hear anything from you guys. I tried contacting your customer care numbers but was not able to connect. Give me a call for further actions.
