I booked an uber by 6 in the morning (fare showed Rs 163) and the driver arrived. My uncle and aunt boarded the car. The driver had cancelled the trip booked thru uber and continued the trip separately. When i checked my phone after 40mins to see the invoice, i found that i was charged a cancellation fee but my aunt called me and told me she was dropped at the destination. He had charged Rs 250. They were not aware of this and they had paid without the bill. So cheap of the driver to cheat consumers like this. I have always preferred travelling with uber but I seriously regret today. And im not able to get the details of the driver now.

    It is really Sad and disguisting to inform you that the recent ride from uber was really a terrible experience.
    I had book Uber in share from akbar bhavan, chanakyapuri to Dargah hazrat Nizamiuddin.The fare which was dispalying in the screen at the time of booking was Rs 97 but when we reached there the fare in the screen was showing Rs 191. which the driver asked us Pay.

    Any way I had paid the fare but I am ashtonished by the way you have cheated me.I don't know whether it was the problem with the GPS installed in the car or the diver's negligence.
    after all it was my loss money as well as metal injury.

    So, I kindly request you to please help in refund my extra amount which they have charged together with compensation.

    Hope you would take the issue seriously.

      I have been charged cancellation fee without even cancelling any ride.
      We book a cab which was suppose to reach to us at sita pura so we called and directed him the address and later on we tried calling him to ask him where he has reached, few minutes later our ride is cancelled because the driver cancelled it not us. We kept waiting for him.
      It has happened more than once that I have been charged cancellation fee for no reason.
      I'm really disappointed with this kind of service charging money unnecessary

        I booked cab from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad to NABARD Officers quarter, Ameerpet, Hyderabad today, i.e. on 04.02.2017 starting at 12.20 hrs, for Rs.513.06. On completion of the trip the amount was charged to my Paytm Account.

        In addition to the above payment, the driver (Vehicle No. TS OQ AT/TR 3057) compelled me to pay him additional Rs.400/-. He argued that that was the parking charges. He showed me a receipt No 076749/4.2.2017 for parking from 08.17 hrs to 12.20 hrs, i.e. for 4 hrs 4 minutes. On his insistence, I paid the money to him
        All total, the trip costed me Rs.913.06, where as the cab service of Police deptt. would have costed me Rs.610.
        I hope Uber would consider refunding the extra amount of Rs.400 to me.

            Self booked cab for Chandigarh railway station from Mohali Punjab.taxi reached in time and was comfortable Journey, during disembarking I realized that my message for final payment was not updated so I saw the drivers mobile and he showed me amount of Rs 180 on his mobile, accordingly I paid, later when message was updated on my phone it shows Rs 120 only .It was a case of forgery and cheating .I need my full refund .

                Dear Sir,

                On 24th Jan 2017 I used Uber which cost me INR 160 which includes my previous last unpaid ride cost 80 & present cost 80. This is what I checked on drivers mobile & there was problem with my uber app I could not get status or ride cost.

                As I was in hurry I paid the cash INR160. but after sometime status came on my mobile & shows payment clear showing cash paid INR 80 which is for present ride only.

                I am surprised after checking my history, I already had paid my last ride through my card & there was no any pending ride to pay from me.

                I asked the driver about my extra payment, he updated that the extra paid amount will get returned back to your Uber account. But still I dont have received any money.

                I request to check the details & advise about my extra INR 80.

                Got a call from [protected] & [protected] regarding my complaint against Uber & without knowing any details they asked my ICICI bank account details for payment back INR 80. I told I dont have ICICI account. Then there reply was "ICICI nahi he, fir to nahi ho payega".. & cut the phone.

                Dear Uber,
                What is the point behind returning my Extra amount in ICICI bank account only?

                Please let me know the proper reason for not reflecting my extra payment INR 80, you can add it in my Uber account as credit.

                  I am writing here to point the unprofessional behavior o[censored]ber Driver, Jaipur Mr. Chottu Lal [protected] on Thursday, 2nd February 2017. Despite the fact that I had pre-booked theMaruti Suzuki Dezire cab on 1 feb.17 for 5:00 am he did not turned up to the destination. On contacting him twice on phone he said that that he has reached the destination.But he was not found and after around 5:30 pm he cancelled the trip from his end and the rider need to catch train at 6:00am jaipur junction for interview.

                    Yesterday (01-feb-2017) I booked a uber cab using nokia lumia 525, first I have selected payment mode CASH but application showed me to change payment option, hence after some time I have changed it to Paytm. But after that my account got blocked automatically and I have to pay by cash to the driver. I have sent a mail to uber via help.uber.com & the uber representative mailed me saying that - as i have violated the rule hence account blocked.
                    When i replied him to inform me the reason of violation. They came back saying it is a system generated, we can't help in this.

                    This is very disappointing, even if customer want to know the reason and want to reactive his account once again, uber representative is saying nothing is in their hand.

                    That means uber is least bothered about their customer. and I think that is why they do not have any customer care call center present.

                      Driver Mr. Jabastin who drove TN20BU 9711 to pick me and my wife up from my residence at kattupakkam chennai around 10.00am todayand drop at gopal street, t, nagar, chennai behaved very discourteously when I asked him to go straight at porur signal and he insisted on turning left which is normally has thick traffic in the mroning.He argued very harshly and made us get down near Porur lake. I warned him for his behavior.He demanded Rs.63/- for driving me til that place. I refused. But my wife cursed him and paid the money. i was left starnded on the road till I booked next Uber and reached my destination. Ensure strict action taken against the driver under intimation to me. No other customer should undergo such harassment from a driver of this kind. I am a regular user o[censored]ber i have never experienced such a situation so far..

                        On 23rd December 2016, I booked an Uber Pool cab at 10:06 PM. I was already at the pick up location BEFORE booking the cab and waited there for over 20 minutes.The driver circled around my area and drove off. I waited patiently expecting him to return but he had cancelled the ride without so much as a phone call to me. I was charged Rs. 60 as a cancellation charge but was not notified about this until I took my next Uber ride a month later. I logged in to help.uber.com and claimed a refund but never received the same in my account.

                        This is not the first time this has happened to me. Most of my recent encounters with Uber in South Mumbai have ended with drivers arriving at the wrong location (which I can see on the map), refusing to answer telephone calls (perhaps they were driving but there is always speakerphone, isn't there) and then driving off without any notice after making me wait on the road. What I consider even worse is the fact that I am charged a cancellation fee for being stood up.

                        As I stated earlier, these are not isolated incidents but rather the norm in South Bombay, an area where the drivers appear to be completely unfamiliar with the roads. I have faced many instances wherein Uber drivers wait nearly a kilometer away from the pick up location without bothering to call the passenger and cite parking issues as the reason.

                        I therefore request Uber to do the following:
                        1) Ensure that the driver is actually at the designated location before charging the customer a cancellation fee. Otherwise, you are essentially charging your customers after standing them up
                        2) Ensure that the customer receives a notification on their phone confirming that the driver has cancelled. Before this became the norm, I have waited for 45 minutes at a time on a dark road wondering where the Uber cab is
                        3) I would recommend that Uber require all drivers to call the customer before cancelling the trip instead of simply driving off after arriving at the wrong location
                        4) Ensure that the cancellation charge is communicated IMMEDIATELY to the customer. At present, it is being done on the date of the next trip. This is unacceptable as the customer has no choice but to cough up the unexpected extra cash during another trip with no prior information
                        5) Also please refund the Rs. 60 cancellation charge that I was incorrectly made to incur after being stood up late at night.

                        I also want to add that I had applied a promo code on Jan 21st (I believe it was HEADOUT17 or something on those lines) but did not receive the benefit of the discount on the trip. I know I activated it because when I tried to do so a second time before booking the Uber, I received a message stating that the promo code was already activated for my account. It was my first trip of the weekend so it had not been used elsewhere. The uber driver confirmed that the code was available to other customers and was being applied to them but had not been done to my account. I was also charged an additional Rs. 60 for the previously mentioned incorrect cancellation in that same trip, thereby adding to the frustration.

                          I have book the cab from bilekahalli (home) location. To vishwapriya lay out. @8:30 . Driver mints was 3 mint. But dint turn to my place till 10 :19pm. Even he dint cancelled the drive, you people are charging for us to cancel. He was playing with saying that I am coming, even we came out on the road waiting for him 20 mints laughing at us and foolish, this kind of rubbish people you have it as driver. If dint take action on this I am going to consumer court. Check with my past drive.i have attached with screen short of the driver waiting.

                            Today i booked uber cab, but the driver denied his duty ! Im not able to cancel this trip and hence could not book another cab . Could you please cancel that drive . And the driver is not willing to cancel from his end.But from my paytm account 50rs is deducted . Why should i be charged if the driver has denied duty . This is absolutely ridiculous .he denied duty even after knowing im a pregnant woman

                            Same issue I had with driver.. Today I booked a cab after I getting into cab at 9.30pm and driver repeatedly asking me where is the drop and he cancelled the drive and denied his duty after knowing am pregnant women. And again I booked next cab where I have been charged for that.. This so stupid and ridiculous. And uber is not taking any action on it and no customer care number.. Just cheating the customers blindly

                              I booked UberSUV on 29th Jan Midnight from Friends colony Borabanda to Prashanth Nagar Langer House. It arrived very late and stopped around one Km away from the Pickup point. I had to trace the vehicle by that time the Driver Ravi cancelled the booking. On questioning him he said he does not have balance in his mobile. So, I had to rebook the vehicle for which you have charged Rs.100 without my fault. Moreover on reaching the destination he charged Rs. 743/- inspite of my showing the bill amount which you have sent. So I request you to kindly resolve my issue. He didnot followed the instructions of his mobile enabled with GPS.
                              In the earlier trip from Prashanth Nagar Langer House to Friends Colony Borabanda the bill was Rs. 560/- only.

                              Yesterday your abusive driver got me into an accident and then fled. Now the guy who was hit by the car has come back to me harassing for money. 1st I go through this torture of abusive driver and 2nd I have to deal with this harassment. But noone at Uber has got back to me to sort my issues. Please take action.

                                  I booked Uber from Kolkata station but waited for 10 minutes and driver didn't turn up though he said that he was nearby. After calling again he said he had a problem with the car and told me to cancel the trip. I did that and booked again. After the ride I was charged Rs 266 whereas the charge was showing 206 in my phone. Driver said that since I canceled the last trip I had to pay cancelation charge. I canceled only when that driver told me to cancel. Please adjust this money in my next ride

                                    To The concerned officer,
                                    Yesterday I had ride at about 6.22PM and the the driver's name is Mr. Rajesh, I am very surprised and felt sorry at the destination when I asked about the fare .Driver asked me to pay Rs.261/- when I asked that the estimated fare was Rs.75/- after giving a discount of Rs.50/- and there can not be any due amount, he said that I will have to pay rs.261/- otherwise he will not allow me to get down and wife was with me. I said that I never kept the fare pending, .But repeatedly asked me to pay the amount of Rs.261/- and to claim the amount through mail, and I requested the driver Mr. Rajesh to contact your office, any how he called your office and from your office directed the Driver to accept Rs.75/- and asked him to allow us to get down.

                                    First of all I want to know that I never receive the instant receipt through SMS of the fare, and if there was any pending amount which I did not pay I never received a demand to pay that amount of Rs.185/- from your office.

                                    I am sure that the concerned driver did not submit the true account of fare collected by cash and suddenly I came to know yesterday.

                                    It is not possible for me to check the mail for the payment very moment of paid cash.

                                    So still you think that I did not pay the fare and and an amount is pending of Rs.185/- I will pay this amount and I will be the last person to use Uber Cab and will convey this unexpected event to each of my persons who are in contact with me.

                                    Further I will request you not to allow any driver to use their personal authority on customers, I am transacting with UBER not individually with the driver, How a driver like Mr. Rajesh could say that I should not have called the UBER CAB, when I asked repeatedly then only he contacted with your office.

                                    So please resolve this matter immediately and in future I will need instant money receipt though SMS then only I will use UBER Cab.

                                      Yesterday around 1:30 pm I took an Uber ride, from the address MIG 165, APHB Colony, Indira Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana to Lingampalli Railway Station, Lingampalli, Hyderabad, Telangana. The distance was around 9.5 kms.
                                      As I checked, the estimated fare was showing as Rs. 69.00
                                      So I confirmed the booking.

                                      I have opted to pay by PayTM.

                                      But as I checked later, I found that, I was billed for Rs. 304.39

                                      Please arrange to refund the excess amount that has been billed to me.

                                      In case any other details are required, please let me know.

                                        We are waiting for cab and Driver had cancelled the trip itself without correspondence, we contact him he told he called on registered number and no reply from your side so I cancelled the trip from my side but in the app the trip was not cancelled.
                                        and charged Rs. 60/-
                                        very bad experience, all my family members with senior citizen member standing on road for waiting cab .
