    The moto driver deliberately took a longer busier route, than standard route. He even stopped for filling petrol within the ride. He then abused me.

        Journey on 25th March to RGIA Airport from Begumput Road

        Driver asked me to Pay Rs.865 on reaching the destination..I said its non cash trip..He said he has not recd. the payment as its still showing on his app to Pay 865 in cash..else he wont let me down and locked the car ..I paid thru paytm to his Mobile No.[protected] and moved as i had a flight to catch but after few minutes money even got deducted Rs.822.55 from my linked wallet as well from Uber.

        On Dispute, Uber only paid me Rs.300 as credits in my Uber app which is not acceptable to me ..It means this trip costed me nearly 1400 ..Uber is not refunding the whole amount.
        Rather they should compensate me well even for their bad service as well..So many times drivers canceled my trip in this booking as well..Every time automatically new booking getting done ..Finally the driver and Uber Cheated me on this trip. I even attached two receipts as well.

          I had been charged twice for one ride.
          First charge was against my corporate credit card, but it shown failed payment in mail which i get from uber, hence in Uber app payment was showing as outstanding, so i cleared that amount thru my paytm account.

          Later on, thru my credit card company notification i got to know that even the first payment thru my credit card has also been done & paid to uber...
          Now 2 issues.
          1. I need refund of my second payment thru paytm, which i did, after Uber's
          information that first payment not done.

          2. i need corrected invoice for the first payment which i did thru my credit card, since it was a payment thru corporate credit card, and i need invoice for the same to settle that expense with my company.

          3. i need a compensation against the harassment which i faced in last 1 week
          from Uber support team, i was sending mails to them with payment screen shots and full incident details given above, but they were not even seeing my
          documents, nor verifying them and just writing same line of reverts and
          documents like robots. I was asking specific need to documents, types or format, but they were just replying that same revert with copy paste mode. After a continuous chase i warned them to file FIR if they not resolve the things, they stopped replying my mails, and later again same robotic replies as was there in first mail.

            Booked an uber cab on 25/3/22... Car no WB04G3629...The driver refused to turn on AC despite scorching heat ...the company (uber) is charging us for ac but they are not in compliance in their action...

                Respected Sir, I Have booked Uber India today from Ultadanga Main Road, Jyoti Raksha Hospital Kolkata 700067 during booking Total Fair was Showing Rupees 346 but after reaching destination which is Housing Colony sapuipara Bally Belur Howrah 711227 driver Mr Sayandeep Mondal Who is good driver tolde me to pay Total Rs 811 (711+100)fair and tax which is very much Expensive nd excess which at the time of booking not given to my knowledge by driver and I paid him Rs 811 in cash so kindly I request you to please refund that excess amount which is charged from me without my mistake and knowledge at time of booking.

                  Booked Uber Taxi on[protected] at Koramangala . Driver did not reported to the spot even after call and then he cancelled the call. His name sown in Uber app as Vinay Kumar Hg

                  However, to my surprise, Rs. 63.21 is deducted from my wallet automatically, . It shows in the app as driver cancelled the trip. This is unacceptable to me. Kindly refund the amount back to my wallet immediately.

                    The drivers in kolkata and the ongoing ride I'm taking are not willing to switch on the AC in this heat inspite of paying such hike rate to Uber. We're have great difficulty with each and every driver we are getting. My ongoing cab number is WB07J5934. The ride was taken on 22nd March 2022 at around 2.15 pm and inspite of pleading so much the driver failed to switch on the AC during my condition of pregnancy. Please take som harsh action against him.

                        I had the worst uber trip today. I have been booking an uber back home along with my friend who lives near by. We share a ride and split the fee. We would always ask the driver to make a stop near by with which they had no problem with. I asked the same to my driver today to take a different route which leads to the same destination, he said that wasnt possible yet we agreed. I had asked him to stop for a second in the middle of the trip as I had to get down. The driver refused and started yelling at me. He started insulting my family, upbringing and he said some other things in Tamil which I did not understand. I felt really humiliated and deeply hurt by his abusive words. All I had asked him to do was stop for a bit on the way so I could get down, but the driver insisted he would drop us both in the location we had entered (my friend's house). He started talking about how he isnt paid enough to make stops and how it's his vehicle and how I have no rights to talk about what route he has to take. This was a very traumatic encounter for me as the driver started to curse at me and shout at me. He even dared me to talk to the commissioner, prime minister etc and that he would handle all of them. I wanted to take further action regarding the driver's abusive behavior but disappointingly Uber does not show any of the ride details after the ride has ended. The only information I have about the driver is his name : Sundaravadivelan.
                        I'm just an 18 year old college student who just wants to get home soon and I feel like I dont deserve such a rude treatment from a driver.
                        .Verbally abusive drivers such as Sundaravaduvelan are the reason why young girls like me feel traumatized and afraid to take an Uber home. I really hope Uber can take proper action regarding such matters.

                          I took a Uber ride on 17th March from Bangalore Airport to HSR Layout Bangalore. While taking the trip the driver took an alternative route and did not take the BIAL South Toll Convenience fee (Airport to City) route during the ride. The uber route was showing that the driver should take the toll road but, he took the other road purposefully. At the end of the ride, Uber charged me RS 1393.05 out of which Rs 99.75was for the toll. I want that toll amount to be refunded. The total amount of 1393.05 is currently not paid by me and I would pay that after the amount is corrected.

                            I had a trip this morning wherein my destination should have been Cinepolis Unity One Mall, Rohini. Instead of this, we ended up at front of someone's house in Rajouri Garden. The driver was a really good person who helped us out to reach the correct destination.

                            I had to pay double the amount (the incorrect route + changed route).

                            Kindly update to the latest routes. I also want my money for the incorrect route back as this happened because of the high incompetence of the correct Uber routes updaters. They may have hired competent drivers but what about the backend operators who are suppose update the location appropriately? I suggest the Uber team to be competent enough so that they do not take the advantage of such mismanagement and loot the money from their customers.

                              I'm writing this mail to share with you my hectic and an unprofessional experience with Uber, due to which I missed my flights and it costed me time, money, additional expense and an important meeting which was irrevocable.

                              I had my flight on 13th March 2022, at 5:55 PM for which I took an Uber. The driver's name Madan. He reached my house location precisely on time. We left immediately. However, he was extremely engrossed on a phone call on his cell constantly and kept on doing other miscellaneous work which driving the cab due to which he wasn't driving even at a nominal speed. I very politely requested him for about 5-6 times to please drive faster and to not be on his cell phone since I would thereby get late to catch my flight. He constantly ignored all my requests and said one statement "Apko jaldi nikalna chaiye tha, mujhe phone pe kaam hai". I left at a time which was very convenient for me to catch my flight had it been any other taxi driver but him.
                              On probably my 7 request, he parked the car to the side and said in hindi ofcourse, "i won't go do whatever you want" and continued to be on his cellphone. He left the car and was on the call. Meanwhile I was crying to him requesting him to take me since I didn't have any time to waste waiting for an other ride. He refused extremely harshly. Mind you, I am an asthmatic, I cannot explain to you the anxiety I experienced that very second, one, because the meeting I was to attend in Patna was extremely important for my career and two, I spent approximately Rs. 11, 000 to and fro Rs. 4500 (next day return) on my air tickets that are non-refundable.
                              I was unable to cancel my ride due to the low internet connection probably at the hault, I requested him crying to atleast cancel my ride so I can book another Uber. He quote on quote said "khud karo karna hai toh, mei nai karunga", knowing that I was helpless and the money would cut from my pocket and not his. I have to mention, how heartless must a person have to be to put someone through this stress for his ego? And as a consumer, how unfair and unprofessional is this to me?
                              In that terror and constant pressure, I managed to cancel the ongoing ride and booked me an other Uber, to my disappointment, be canceled my ride even before reaching the destination on knowing on call that I'm headed to the airport. Then I booked an other Uber, which took more than 10 mins to reach my location. Now in all this chaos I've wasted enough time to catch my flight. The 3rd Uber driver took me to the airport as fast as he could, but despite that I missed my flight. And this, only at the sole fault of your Uber driver.
                              My irrevocable meeting got canceled for which i suffered, I had to book a new flight for the next day, again two and fro which costed me Rs. 4000. I got no compensation from the airline cause it was no fault of theirs but yours for getting me delayed. I had to book myself myself a hotel for the night next to the airport for my next day flight and with this chaos I had to stress out for 7 hours at the airport trying to figure out a solution on my loss.
                              It doesn't end here, ever since I've placed my complaint regarding the Driver on Uber, my Uber fair has tripled. I took an Uber post the chaos at the airport for my hotel, at Aerocity, which showed my approximately Rs. 100 around, on reaching the location it conveniently became Rs. 500 approximately, which I was forced to pay. Again next morning I took an Uber to the airport from Aerocity, it showed me Rs. 118 initially and on reaching the location I was charged Rs. 500 (approximately) for a 10 minute drive? This is extremely unfair as I have incurred unreasonable expense because of your esteemed company which I held at a very high regard, but I'm so disappointed. I'm left with no choice but to uninstall your app.

                              I tagged @Uber and @UberIndia on Instagram regarding the same on the very day and received no response. I messaged on these verified id's, the matter that very moment, it's been 2 days and I've received no response at all.

                              As an Advocate, I'm hereby attaching all the screenshots and proofs of the same and it's my obligation to let you know that I intend to take this matter extremely seriously. I am expecting all the reimbursements including my flight money (to and fro), my hotel money, my cab expense and the emotional stress caused to me as an additional.

                              With this official mail, I am giving you a time of two days for a resolution of the same. If not, I will take this matter to the Consumer Forum at the earliest.

                                I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Cab

                                The issue that I have experienced was: I was overcharged Rs 50 on top of shown fare of Rs 178. Customer support saying it was included as tip. However, it was debited from my card automatically without my permission.

                                It occurred on: 11/03/2022

                                Reimburse Rs 50

                                  Last Ride- This person charges Rs 220/- saying that if you did not pay the said amount of 220 -, I will cancel the trip. It was a late night. Already so many autos they have accepted the trip and canceled after 10-15 minutes. almost 5 cancellations. What is this? If they are not interested then why are accepting the trip after 10-15 min again canceled. They all waste my precious time. It is an offense. I need clarification from UBER and also return my all paid amount to the account. If fails to reply and do. with all proofs, i need to file a case against you. (payment details and recorded voice call is available to you, pls check). The driver is telling me to pay more otherwise I will cancel the trip.

                                    I travelled on 14 march 2022 from vidyaranyapur to bangalore airport by uber. on line charges of rs 630 was taken by Uber . on arrival, the uber taxi driver informed that no payment is made and demanded rs 792 including TOOl charges. it was found from the uber App that payment was on HOLD . there was no response from uber. i was FORCEDT PAY CAS RS792. After sometime Rs 630 was deducted from my account.
                                    when contacted Uber, with lot of correspondence Rs 300 was refunded, stating that THIS IS THE MAX THAT CAN BE REFUNDED.
                                    MY REPEATED REQUESTS TO REFUND RS 792 PAID TO DRIVER, DUE TO SYSTEM FAILURE, FELL INTO DEFF'S EAR.
                                    Uber recognised their fault on this aspect BUT REFUNDING ONLY RS 300.

                                        I booked an uber ride on 13 march 2022 at 11:06am for lucknow from kanpur. The money got debited from my paytm wallet but no ride was booked on app. I lost money, wasted my time and most pathetic thing that I got no customer support no. to talk to someone and kept getting stupid replies about keeping a track of ride which I did not take and not paying in cash which they can not refund, I mentioned clearly to them fraud is done through my paytm wallet. not cash.
