I am staying in Gurugram, Haryana. My sister booked a cab today through uber. She boarded and they left. After covering few Km, the driver knowingly took a wrong turn and continued to drive despite of my sister shouting from the back seat to stop the car or she'll jump. As soon as the driver reached to a turn and slowed down before entering a godown sort of place, she jumped out of the cab and ran to save her life. On the contrary when she dialled Police, the women constable said to wait there so that the PCR could come. Now that man who must be in his 40-45 could have come along with some of his fellow and could have done wrong with me.

I really would want Uber to expel that cab driver and take strict action against him so that at least no other girl or women could feel so unsafe like i did today.

    Description of the incident : Past few months this issue has been re-occurring several times now that whenever I book a ride from a location to my home address the uber drivers calls me & ask about the destination address . After listening to the destination address they agree to come & pickup but when its just 5 mins of pickup time left the ride gets cancelled by the driver . There are days when continuously 2-3 rides are cancelled by the drivers & to get a proper uber cab ride I have to wait for 1-2 hours . Today also similar situation occurred when 2 rides got cancelled by the driver & now I took an auto to reach my home .
    Most of the times I book a uber cab from Chandanagar, Hyderabad to PBEL City, Hyderabad which takes approx. 45 mins of time and in this route due to unknown reason the cab drivers create a problem . Either they hear the source/destination address & cancel the ride or over the call they decline to come & pickup the passenger . In weekends its horrible situation as I never get cabs in any time of the day so I have stopped looking for uber ride on Sat, Sun . But now the problem has expanded to weekdays also . I think so on ride cancellation there is some amount deducted from the passenger also where there was no fault from my side .
    Desirable resolution : I would urge Uber India to take strict actions about the situation because this has caused lot of hassle for me . There are times when aged people want to get a ride to some place & if the drivers are irresponsible & unprofessional then where would the common people go ? From whom should we seek help ? I remember in[protected] Uber cabs used to be one of the best options in Hyderabad for rides but now that trust & confidence is fading away .

      I reached airport thinking I will get Uberr XL ride at approx. Oo 30 hrs on 1st May 2022. Surprisingly there were no XL and every request send was cancelled.

      Is this how local Uber operates

        I booked a cab on Uber on 30th April 2022 which was canceled by the driver but I had to pay Rs. 57.71. Before this, at least 2 to 3 more drivers canceled my booking and because of this, I was about to miss my train.

        But my question is why was I charged money even though I didn't cancel it. I want a refund. Uber India please look into the matter.

          I booked an uber go today evening. At the time of booking the fare shown was around 353 rs. So I booked it. But at the end of the trip, uber claimed the fare as 856 rs. How can uber increase the amount this much? If I knew beforehand, i wouldn't have booked it. This is complete fraudulent. The driver even didn't come to my location. I had to go to him by walking like 5 minutes. And then this problem. How can a shown fare increase more than 500 rs after the trip end?? I want my money back..

            My trip started at 6:33 PM on 25-04-22 from kapashera new Delhi to palam vihar. My fare was Rs. 245 and I have paid the entire amount with 5 rs extra to the driver (Mr. Manoj Kumar) in cash. But, still an amount of Rs. 245 is shown as outstanding in UBER apps and I have not been able to hire any UBER taxi.

                Forgot/lost my CONTIGO insulated water bottle during my last ride with Uber Auto from Miyapur to Moosapet. The driver's name is DAVID. The fare was Rs.149. Would appreciate if the driver is contacted and find out about my water bottle left in the auto while getting out of it.

                  I want to complaint against Mr.Suraj uber auto rickshaw driver, vehicle no. MH12KR0622.
                  i booked my trip from uber app from vishrantwadi bus stop to tingre nagar lane no.11 it is a short trip.
                  Mr.suraj first he picked the trip and called me asked me where is the drop, and i answered drop location is tingre nagar so he disconnected the call and rejected the drip due to short distance.
                  and i want to ask uber india that if your drivers don't want short trip then why the first pick the booking and after they reject the trip, time waste of passenger.
                  please take an action against uber india and that driver.

                      I had make two payments for my ride today in Gpay and Uber App. On raising multiple tickets, there is absolutely no response or support. There is no option to track the concern as the the request disappears with a message 'We have received your message'. Poor service from Uber India.

                          Dear uber team, today i booked uber auto for my home for my self and my mother . After crossing more then half way suddenly your uber driver stopped auto and refused to take us to home and arguing that the final location is just little away from home .
                          He started fighting with us in late night with us on road that i can not go to home as ginal loction is there .
                          After much argument i changed the final location to my home .
                          Then he stopped auto one steet before ojr home and said i will not go more u have to get out from my vehicle as location ended here.
                          And he start asking for extra money.

                          We scared very much and my shole family decided that we will never use uber again .
                          And if no action will taken against driver then i will please my appeal to consumer court against you guys .

                            I am from Kolkata, and in our city like most of the cities, Uber have become an essential part of our life.
                            It is summer now, and I have been noticing this for many days, since the pandemic, that Uber drivers refrained from using AC during the journey. First they conveyed that it is the protocol of Company and to avoid the chance of spreading the virus we are instructed to turn off the AC.
                            Now they do the same, turn off the A/C and conveys that their union is protesting against the company, the commission they receive and hence they will not put the AC on. They offers to turn the AC on only after the customer will pay extra money for it. ( extra money +the original fair displayed by Uber while booking the trip)
                            They paid me several times to turn the AC on.
                            Recently I was also using Uber moto and on booking my trip, they first ask me the fare, and most of the time they hang up the phone directly without any confirmation on whether or not they are coming . Sometimes they would argue the fare, say i was displayed 25 rupees, they would say " madam ji will you give me 50, then I will go"
                            Sometimes after the ride, they would ask for extra money saying the price of petrol have hiked.
                            My one simple question is that what is our / customer's role in this ?
                            This is a matter that is to be solved between the employer and employee, Uber India and the uber drivers, and we as customers shall not face the consequences. When we book a cab we are promised a hustle free journey with professional behaviour and AC service. But that promise is everyday broken.

                              Today i.e. 26th april 2022, around 11 am in the morning, i was trying to book uber bike to reach alipore court which is hardly 3kms away from my home. The booking was accepted and almost 4 to 5 drivers cancelled the trip ether by saying " pay me extra" " i don't want to go, i am here only for a ride and not for booking", " uber themself will drop you and not me", one of them called and asked my drop location, I refused to say the location and asked him to come to ny location for pickup. He disconnected the call and used Slang by messages and also before disconnecting the call, told me " ja korar kor, karor baba amader kichu korte parbe na" which means fo what ever you want no one can do anything to us. Is this how the drivers are to behave with the customers? Kindly do the needful, otherwise i will be bound to take legal steps again UBER India. My previous complaint was not resolved but marked as resolved. Kindly look into the matter seriusly

                                I had made a ride at 6 pm on 24 March 2022 from my relatives place to Khar West, and the trip got over at 6.39 PM. I paid the driver Rs. 211 for the trip.

                                After few days when I opened my Uber app to take a new ride, it showed that the said trip's amount is outstanding & I need to pay the amount to proceed further.

                                I had not opted for any online payment & have chosen for COD.

                                The trip payment still stands outstanding and this needs correction.

                                    Today 25.04.22, while coming office at Noida sector 62 under pass, this CAB driver had almost tried to hit me from right side to overtake. I tried to confront him for his rash driving, but he started shouting and talking in abusive language. I want the company UBER INDIA should take appropriate action against this Driver, as they can kill someone someday with their reckless driving.

                                      I have took ride from malad to Muland on 25 April 2022 by uber auto. I told driver that I will pay by non cash mode but he insisted on cash payment. So I made cash payment of Rs. 340 to auto driver. I raised complaint on uber through get trip help option. Still on app is showing the trip is unpaid.

                                        I booked an ube xl on 24/04/2022 at 4.40 am. At that time the fare was showing as 681 rs. After reaching my destination at 5.39 am i paid the driver 681 rs by cash. He took picture and confirmed it. But after he left, i saw the fare is showing as 701 rs. I wanted to give him the extra 20 rs. But he already left. After some times in my app it is showing as pending 701 rs. I am ready to pay the outstanding 20 rs. But uber is asking me to pay the whole 701 rs. But I have already paid 681 rs to the driver by cash.
