Dear uber team, today i booked uber auto for my home for my self and my mother . After crossing more then half way suddenly your uber driver stopped auto and refused to take us to home and arguing that the final location is just little away from home .
He started fighting with us in late night with us on road that i can not go to home as ginal loction is there .
After much argument i changed the final location to my home .
Then he stopped auto one steet before ojr home and said i will not go more u have to get out from my vehicle as location ended here.
And he start asking for extra money.

We scared very much and my shole family decided that we will never use uber again .
And if no action will taken against driver then i will please my appeal to consumer court against you guys .

    I am from Kolkata, and in our city like most of the cities, Uber have become an essential part of our life.
    It is summer now, and I have been noticing this for many days, since the pandemic, that Uber drivers refrained from using AC during the journey. First they conveyed that it is the protocol of Company and to avoid the chance of spreading the virus we are instructed to turn off the AC.
    Now they do the same, turn off the A/C and conveys that their union is protesting against the company, the commission they receive and hence they will not put the AC on. They offers to turn the AC on only after the customer will pay extra money for it. ( extra money +the original fair displayed by Uber while booking the trip)
    They paid me several times to turn the AC on.
    Recently I was also using Uber moto and on booking my trip, they first ask me the fare, and most of the time they hang up the phone directly without any confirmation on whether or not they are coming . Sometimes they would argue the fare, say i was displayed 25 rupees, they would say " madam ji will you give me 50, then I will go"
    Sometimes after the ride, they would ask for extra money saying the price of petrol have hiked.
    My one simple question is that what is our / customer's role in this ?
    This is a matter that is to be solved between the employer and employee, Uber India and the uber drivers, and we as customers shall not face the consequences. When we book a cab we are promised a hustle free journey with professional behaviour and AC service. But that promise is everyday broken.

      Today i.e. 26th april 2022, around 11 am in the morning, i was trying to book uber bike to reach alipore court which is hardly 3kms away from my home. The booking was accepted and almost 4 to 5 drivers cancelled the trip ether by saying " pay me extra" " i don't want to go, i am here only for a ride and not for booking", " uber themself will drop you and not me", one of them called and asked my drop location, I refused to say the location and asked him to come to ny location for pickup. He disconnected the call and used Slang by messages and also before disconnecting the call, told me " ja korar kor, karor baba amader kichu korte parbe na" which means fo what ever you want no one can do anything to us. Is this how the drivers are to behave with the customers? Kindly do the needful, otherwise i will be bound to take legal steps again UBER India. My previous complaint was not resolved but marked as resolved. Kindly look into the matter seriusly

        I had made a ride at 6 pm on 24 March 2022 from my relatives place to Khar West, and the trip got over at 6.39 PM. I paid the driver Rs. 211 for the trip.

        After few days when I opened my Uber app to take a new ride, it showed that the said trip's amount is outstanding & I need to pay the amount to proceed further.

        I had not opted for any online payment & have chosen for COD.

        The trip payment still stands outstanding and this needs correction.

            Today 25.04.22, while coming office at Noida sector 62 under pass, this CAB driver had almost tried to hit me from right side to overtake. I tried to confront him for his rash driving, but he started shouting and talking in abusive language. I want the company UBER INDIA should take appropriate action against this Driver, as they can kill someone someday with their reckless driving.

              I have took ride from malad to Muland on 25 April 2022 by uber auto. I told driver that I will pay by non cash mode but he insisted on cash payment. So I made cash payment of Rs. 340 to auto driver. I raised complaint on uber through get trip help option. Still on app is showing the trip is unpaid.

                I booked an ube xl on 24/04/2022 at 4.40 am. At that time the fare was showing as 681 rs. After reaching my destination at 5.39 am i paid the driver 681 rs by cash. He took picture and confirmed it. But after he left, i saw the fare is showing as 701 rs. I wanted to give him the extra 20 rs. But he already left. After some times in my app it is showing as pending 701 rs. I am ready to pay the outstanding 20 rs. But uber is asking me to pay the whole 701 rs. But I have already paid 681 rs to the driver by cash.

                I complained on their portal through support system. They took almost 6 days to reply. But finally they resolved the issue. They lifted the pending payment..

                  I was shown rs.277 for covering the distance from Salt Lake DL block to Haldirams, Teghoria but at the end of the trip I was charged with rs. 483 which is huge. This is extremely annoying. If I would have known earlier that this much would be charged then I would have never avail that. And if this is how Uber works then I would have to recommend others not to go for it.

                    I booked a ride with uber .. which showed up front price of Approx Rs 430

                    But when driver ended up the trip I had to pay 1019 .

                    How come there is 2X of difference in the price .

                    This is pure loot !

                    What if someone is not carrying up that much cash .. what if I book this up for my

                      I have had the most disturbing trip ever. The car broke down on a road and the driver panicked so much. He did not care about the customer. We could have been in a terrible accident. There was no way to reach uber helpline. He did not cancel the ride so i was stuck in a car for more than 1 hr with no ac and such bad traffic.

                      I have tried to complain on the app but i have still not recieved any call from them. Please use uber at your own risk.

                        Iam going city to airport its showing & customer telling i have quickly flight use the nice road so i have going nice road totally 72.5 km running but uber giving fare is only 893 rupeese id diesel rate is 97 rupeese what was fare ging in uber cheeting company

                          On 13-Apr, I booked a cab around 4:30 am from my home in Sohna to New Delhi railway station PaharGanj Side. After the pickup, driver told me I'll have to pay Rs 90 for Sohna toll which I did. After reaching Delhi he dropped me away from the station as per his convenience at AjmeriGate side instead of PaharGanj. Now the fare for ride was Rs 972 which is paid him via UPI. The money got debited from my account but due to some technical issue the driver didn't receive it so he asked me to try again. I paid Rs 972 again via UPI and the same issue happened. I told him the money will definitely get credited but then he asked me for cash instead. Since I was getting late for my train thanks to his far-away drop, I paid him Rs 800 as this the only cash I had with me. I took his mobile no. and requested him to return my money once he receives it. He also promised that he'll give me my money back.

                          On 15-Apr, I got confirmation from my bank that money has been transferred in driver's account. I immediately called him and asked for my money, he then started misbehaving and talking rudely. He told he's busy and then hung up on me. Since then he's not taken my call at all. He's just sitting on my money. Such a dishonest and liar driver he is. In total I paid him Rs 2834 for the trip (90 Toll + 972 UPI + 972 UPI + 800 Cash). I want my remaining money back i.e. Rs 1862 (90+972+800). Is Uber fine being associated with such a driver who is being a nuisance to the riders and misbehaving when they are asking for their own money? Uber driver name is Naseem Katariya, his Vehicle no. HR55AC4710 and his contact no. is +91-[protected]. Pls help me with this. I want my money back by any means.

                              I have booked uber outstation from pune to mumbai dated 18/04/2022 and selected uber cash as payment method.
                              At the end of the trip when i asked uber driver final amount he said his network is not working hence he cant complete the ride in his uber app due to which in my app as well trip not showing completed because uber driver not pressed the complete button. Hence he Asked me to check my uber app and the amount to be paid which was showing at the time of booking and it was Rs 2099/-, i told him that my payment method is uber cash but since its not completed the trip in app by uber balance showing as it is and driver asked me to pay via goggle pay, i thought since uber cash not deducted i paid him 2099+ toll Rs 540/- total 2639/-
                              later on I realised that my uber cash also got debited Rs 2000/- from my uber wallet and i have paid via google pay also so total 4639/- gone instead of Rs 2639/- and also i came to know that actual toll tax was Rs 270/- but driver paid through fastag hence i did not realise the amount and gone by drivers word that it was Rs 540/- but actually its 270/- hence driver took extra 270/- there and uber cash Rs 2000/-
                              When i made complaint to Uber help they denied to refund the amount and just given credit of Rs 150/-
                              I have all the proofs with me o[censored]ber cash payment, google pay payment and reply from uber and I have attached the same.

                              Uber has stopped responding to complaint and its absolutely unprofessional way of handling the clients at the place they dont have any customer service no to whom we can talk and now they have taken my Rs 2270/- extra amount and refused to give back.
                              Please help in getting my refund back.

                                I selected UPI for that trip. Because of driver forced me to give cash in hand. I gave cash for my trip. But in app.. it's showing not paid.. i contacted uber 4 times, but I'm not getting any support from them.

                                  Have booked an Uber Go on the 17th of March at around 10 21 pm from Park Street, Kolkata to Keshtopur, Kolkata. The driver was Shiv Nath Ray, license Plate WB04H6826 and the payment was done online through Google Pay. The original fare when I booked the Uber was Rs. 447 and after the ride was over the fare came up to Rs 1061, with a surge fare of Rs 614. There was no issue during the ride like bad weather, route deviation, road blockage or traffic which would explain the surge fare and also there was no pending charge from my side. The receipt I have received does not reflect the initial price or the surge fare I've paid. I requested help on the 17th but I am yet to hear back. It was disappointing to be blindsided by such a big charge and could have caused a dilemma for all parties involved if I did not have the amount with me. I request you to look through the prices charged without reason and notice and return the extra surge fare I had to pay.

                                  I am attaching the Receipt, the initial and the surge payment receipt from Google Pay and the trip details. I hope I can receive a positive response.

                                  They have addressed and have returned back the surge fare in the form of Uber Cash in 2 hours. Really happy with the response, requiring minimal calling and effectively resolving the issue!

                                    It's very harassing to the customer that even if you want to complain, lengthy procedure is there, again the uber divers are very unprofessional and misbehaved..most of them .they call to customer at every ride and confirm adress first and they will make you to wait a lot and last either they will make you cancel the trip or they will redirect, by this customer waits a lot .
                                    There is no provision to complain these drivers as they cannot be contacted once the trip is redirectef

                                      I booked Uber on august 2nd 2020 from Delhi to Faridabad that cab charged me 767 rs with driver shahid Ali. At that time I tried to add the credit card but due to some technical error It got failed so I paid in cash. I tried to contact Uber through their customer care support but didn’t get any response.
                                      On April 14 I booked a Uber bike with driver Deepak which cost me around 51 bucks but rider kept telling me to pay 818 rs including outstanding amount. I paid him 70 rs as he told me that my bill was 68 for this ride.
                                      I explained him the whole situation so he said he will put up my issue with Uber as there is no other way to contact them.
                                      He asked for my number for unresolved case scenario.
                                      Next day he called me and told me that Uber has blocked him because he failed to recover the outstanding amount.
                                      It is a mental and financial harassment for me and the rider as well. He keeps texting me to clear the outstanding amount which I did before. Kindly solve the issue

                                        We have hired ride from kalyani veg hotel to oxy vally phase2 from uber on 16th April 2022 at 2245 but reaching at viman Nagar driver started shouting my kids and wife and asking for money. For a thin window plastic paper and shouting at my son and wife intially and asked us rudely to left the trip when we left the car he continously abusing and slapped me and found a sugercan stick to hit me people gathered there and try to stop the guy even after this he has not stopped and continuous sly abuseing in local language, inguess the mental status of this e driver was not in good condition and he can be dangeorus to harm any body
