We booked a taxi from [protected]. driver jaldeep (car number hr55y2595) picked up the phone and said he would report at friends club, friends colony west, new delhi within 5 minutes. after that we rang up his number [protected] at least 20 times, but every time either the phone was out of reach or was reported as busy. he did not turn up, though we waited for 30 minutes. ultimately we had to cancel the trip, and take ola.
Please let me know why it happened

    On 17/11/2016 I had booked an UberPool service from my destination at GN 34/1, GN Block, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700091 to my desired location at THE CALCUTTA SWIMMING CLUB 1, Strand Road, Kolkata 700001. Accordingly, the driver named Mr Chandan came to pick me up from my pick-up point at 6:01 PM.

    At 7:09 PM, the driver dropped me at 15/1, Strand Rd, Fairley Place, BBD Bagh, Kolkata 700001. When I informed him that the venue he was dropping me is quite a distance from my desired location, he kept on insisting that the location is as per his GPRS guided location, and he was in no mood to drop me to the venue, I had booked. Moreover, he was insisting me to make a fresh booking on Uber App, in order to make him drop to my venue, which I did not comply then.

    As per Uber's regular promotion, I switched over from CASH to PAYTM option in paying off my Cab charges, and hence the fare of Rs 86.24 got automatically debited from my Paytm account, soon after the driver ended the said trip.

    The said driver was very rude when asked to drop me to my venue and impolitely told me to just leave the cab, as he had another call in the pipeline to attend. His picture is also attached herewith for your ready reference.

    I felt quite embarrassed and humiliated then and had no other option than to leave the cab and walk down some 20 minutes to reach to my coveted venue.

    I want Uber now to give me a credit for the entire cost of Rs 86.24 in my account with them, alongwith adequate penalty charges for my humiliation and upset.

      I have booked a cab in Ahmedabad.From Vasna to Income tax.Driver has accepted a request.when i called him, he said he will be at my place within 2 minutes.when i called him after 2 minutes, his phone was switched off.i had tried for 5-10 minutes then i cancel a ride & I found him eating food near my place when i wonder for a rickshaw.I missed my appointment due to this delay.

        I am a regular customer o[censored]ber Cab Services. But this time i have faced to much trouble because of the Uber driver. I have booked a cab Number DL1ZA3827 at 9:38 PM 17/Nov/2016 and Driver name is Gurbandan and that was a Hyundai Xcen. I booked my cab from my home to my office, BG-6 DDA Market Paschim Vihar New Delhi to Kohat Enclave Metro Station. I have informed the driver about my location earlier and i was waiting for the cab on the road of BG-6 DDA Market. Driver was roaming here and there and he was not listing about my location that where i am actually standing, this happened to me very first time with the Uber cab service but this is the worst experience also. I saw the cab was coming to my way and i was waving my hand but he ignored, and then i called him so he told me that the ride is cancelled. This is the whole story which happened to me today and because of that i reached my office late and my salary will be deducted for this late marking because of that Uber driver. I want the compensation for this inconvenience, and i want to register a complaint against that Uber driver.

          12th Nov evening I booked a uber cab from andheri to kanjurmarg.
          Car: maruti Suzuki wagon R
          Driver : gokul.
          Bill amount: 137Rs.
          As the bill amount was showing 0 Rs in my uber app still I paid the driver Rs100 and ask him if extra amount is there, credit it to my next ride.
          Today 17th Nov evening.
          I booked another ride from vikroli to kanjurmarg
          Car: amaze
          Driver : narendra
          Bill amount : 60
          I have to pay Rs197. As my total bill came as previous bill + recent one.
          I was shocked as I feel like I have been cheated.
          Even after helping the driver by showing kindness I have paid Rs100. As my app was showing 0Rs.
          Today I have to pay extra for no reason. There are already small denomination money problems are there and over which I have to face such an issue.

          I would be thankful if my issue is been sorted asap.

            This is to inform you that I have been a partner o[censored]ber for the last one year and have been able to contribute in Ubers as well as my personal growth quite well.

            Due to some financial crisis I had to stop the cab for a few months and as soon as the situation became normal, I started the cab services once again and Uber was my first choice (resumed in Oct 2016).

            The driver was working fine and was able to earn well. however the things become worst when the amount that we earned through online transactions was not credited.

            There were several inquiries raised through the helpline number, however I was only assured that the payment will start getting credited one the account details are updated. After waiting for 2 weeks, when I was finally informed that the account details have been updated (The happiness did not last longer) However the account is negative by 12000rs/-.

            In such critical condition hearing such statements was not at all pleasing.
            checked with the rep again and found that as per them. The device which was handed over first time when we become the partner was our liability. while the internet charges were also the burden on us.

            I informed rep that the information to your authorities regarding the device has been stolen and is no longer been used was already provided in the month of May/ June when the first call was received then also these charges are to be paid by us(as per rep).

            The rep was unable to understand and we were also hopeless as "There was no prior intimation provided regarding the same."

            Finally visited the Uber office in Hauz Khaz hoping something positive will be there for us, however it was nothing but disappointment as Rajesh (one of the Executive) said that there is no other way out whether your were informed prior or not you will have to bear the cost of it.

            It seemed like all the doors were closed onto our face.

            Request him to provide alternatives however none of the executive was ready to listen.

            I felt like cheated as there was no proper intimation regarding the deduction yet disappointment was there when it comes to customer service.

            Now there are several points that I would like you to help me with.

            1. Why was the deduction done from the account without prior intimation
            2. Even when the charges of device were deducted then why does the company want another 12000/- Rs.
            3. It is the policy o[censored]ber that they never inform the partner will do whatever they want.
            4. The Hard money earned has not been given and there was no support from any of the offices available.

            Kindly look into the matter and help me with the desired amount.

            Your help will be appreciated.

              I have booked a uber cab from taverekere, Bengalurur to Jeevan bima nagar, Bengalurur on urgent basis. I waited for 1.5 hours for driver to pick but he made me to rush over the street and didn't came and finally without information my cab was cancelled by driver.

              Without any fault, Uber is forcing me to pay 50/- (cancellation charges).

              Due to unprofessional behaviour of Driver, I missed my super urgent meeting also charging me 50/-.

              I want resolution of my case with proper reason else i would be forced to opt for legal action against Uber.

                The driver shyam came at the wrong address & asked me to come in 2 minutes else trip will be cancelled. I asked him to come outside my home. He refused and i with my luggage walked to the place away from my home where car was parked. The back seat had a luggage and co-passenger & the front seat had his jacket. He asked me to sit on the front seat and hanged the jacket on the seat. I asked him to remove luggage from the back seat as the front seat was dirty. I also tried to send you picture from my phone of the front seat. He refused and asked me to cancel the trip. Left with no option, i sat on the dirty front seat. He still refused to start the trip and talked in rude language.

                On November 13, I had booked at about 11 pm an ubergo from Vasant Kunj. It was late and I was surprised I was not able to get uberpool. However, I booked ubergo as there was no alternative and it was getting late. I contacted the driver who told me he was getting CNG filled and will take more than 15-20 minutes. I was already late and in any case, app was showing only 8 minutes. I told him the same and he said he has three cars ahead of him and it would take minimum 20 minutes for him to come. Since it was already late, I cancelled the booking and used ola. However, a cancellation charge of rs.60 was levied on me and recovered from me with the fare of my this morning (November 17) trip. I am disgusted that instead of bring apologetic for deficiency in service, Uber charged me this amount. The amount is refundable with damages

                  I Used UBER SERVICE. But Last time they Over charge my Fare. I Went From My

                  Home : SUKHSAGAR APARTMENT ANAND MAHEL ROAD TO MUGLISARA MAIN ROAD.
                  At That Time They Took 103.00 Rs For Only 3 TO 4 Kilometers. Normal Fare is 54-60 Rs. The Driver Overcharge 43 Rs For This Short Distance.

                  Date Of Incedent : 12/11/2016.
                  Driver's Name : RAINSING.
                  Cab No : GJ05BV0977.
                  Cab Name : Tata Indigo.
                  So Customer Service was very bad in uber cab. Please improve it.

                      Hi team,

                      This is with regards to the duplicate payment and long routing concerns that i have on my trip on 12th november with uber india.

                      I had taken 2 trips on uber on 12th november. 1st one at 11:13 am from my residence at uttarahalli kengeri road to choodasandra. 2nd one is at 03:09 pm return from choodasandra to uttarahalli kengeri road.

                      While booking the 1st trip, i had paytm wallet balance of ₹200 and i opted payment option as paytm. The trip coated me ₹564 (Including the toll charges of ₹60 which i payed in cash at toll gate to driver, later got reversed, revised bill is ₹504).

                      When the trip ended, since i had only ₹200 in my paytm wallet, i assumed that i need to pay the remaining ₹364 in cash, i paid it to driver (Total cash paid is ₹424- (₹60+₹364).

                      Later in afternoon, while booking the return drop, i noticed that payment had not been gone and i had to recharge my paytm wallet for ₹364 to make the full payment via paytm only. I recharged my wallet and payment been done.
                      I booked the return trip and reached home. The return trip cost me just ₹374 compared to first one of ₹564. Obviously the first one has been linger than required.

                      I had logged case for 3 issues in uber app under help menu.
                      1. Duplicate payment of cash for ₹364/-
                      2. Toll charges payment in cash if ₹60/-
                      3. Longer rout

                      Of these 3 cases i logged, i got resolution only for second one for toll charges. 1st and 3rd are still pending am doing follow ups from long time but no reaponse.

                      Please help me to get the issue resolved.

                      I book cab in cash.. then comlete my trip.. then after no charge paid.. bcoz paytm provide 2 free rides with uber... then now this duduct my paytm wallet banalce..
                      Today i had book cab but driver said i did not pick up it is my closing time please cancelled trip. so i cancelled request us why u people charged Rs.40 for that even through it is not my fault .why should i pay .please return my cacelled fees

                        They irst overcharged me and when I complained they refund the amount as credit but later I noticed that I was unable to book ride as they have blocked my account. After repeated writing of mails and sending them the copy of my id card my problem was not silved. This continued for a month . Whenever I write an email they said that they have reactivated the account but I was unable to book a ride and two days ago when I complained the same to them they balantly replied that they are not going to activate my account,

                          When i signed up for the first time itself, uber india disabled my account saying i am aless-than-ethical customer. I do not understand how. I have not tried to use any of their free rides nor have i sent free ride codes to anyone.

                          Since they suspect my honesty, i have no reason to believe in uber's honesty. Therefore, i asked them to delete my account. However, i only got a form response as follows:

                          "hi,

                          I am afraid i do not have further info as this is a system generated flag with no manual intervention in the process. Our system is the same across the 300+ cities that we operate in. It flags suspicious accounts and disables the application of promotions on these accounts and in some cases even cuts off access to these accounts.
                          You will appreciate that these security features need to be built in to prevent misuse of our services and to prevent users from creating accounts for the sole purpose of taking free rides. You might not have had that intention, however, the system cannot differentiate between the two situations and frankly, there really is no way for anyone else to distinguish the two either.
                          I am afraid i really cannot be of any more help with this than i already have."

                          I am worried that uber may sell my information (Email and mobile number) to other telemarkeeters. I would like to have them delete my account.

                            Dear uber,
                            Absolutely pathetic that i am charged more than 6 times on my uber ride. Yesterday, i took an uberpool, please read it carefully an uberpool which showed an amount of rs.62 from the pickup location to the destination. Voila! What do i see when i get down that i am being charged rs.375/- i. E. More than 6 times the fare that was quoted and that too on an uberpool? Ridiculous.

                            Just answer a simple question, should after all this i should still continue with uber. This is the third time uber has been charging such exorbitant price. I used to be a loyal customer with uber (You can check the history for the past one year) but the services and prices has been pathetic over the past two months. Ola way way better, at least they dont cheat people.

                              I used to ride Uber India because it is slightly cheaper …it was only recently that I realised that UBER doesn't have a customer service number in india so u have to either resolve any matter with the driver who is usually unhelpful or will have to go to the police to resolve the matter…I also recently got into one such incident where I had taken a ride from Mukherjee nagar to Sarojini nagar in Delhi.the amount was 258.87 for which we paid the driver in cash..we then booked another taxi back home and was charged 296.10(trip amount) plus 258.87(outstanding amount of the previous trip for which we had paid earlier to the other driver)all our efforts to contact UBER customer service to resolve the matter failed and the driver started threatening us to pay up the entire amount..we could only resolve the matter at the police station and we have not received any call from uber yet..so I'd choose ola though it is slightly more expensive since it's customer service is prompt and helpful unlike uber India

                              I hired a user taxi on 6/11 at 7 pm from my residence in banashankari to city railway station distance in the route that we went 10kms but was. charged for 18kms plus surge fare IP.

                                Today I took 2 rides from prem nagar to think and vice versa, set my payment options as debit card .In first ride I'll able to pay 182.13 but still didn't get any mesg from my bank and in second ride I didn't even get any option to pay for the ride, ...why so???

                                I'm mailing you guys so that I don't have to pay some extra charges or fine with my future rides.

                                I booked an Uber cab ( Tata Indigo ) on this specified date. The cab driver was almost 10 km away from my pick up location and HE ASKED ME TO CANCEL IT. But I wasn't aware of the cancellation fee and I had been charged extra 100 for my next ride. Please look into this issue. Thank you.

                                  A driver with a license where LMV_CAB /TRANS was not mentioned, I was not allowed to attach the driver for my vehicle and was asked to rectify the license.

                                  If the driver can be allowed to drive that vehicle, then why I was denied?
                                  I informed the office and they told me that the said account was blocked but it was only for showing me.
                                  In the evening I noticed the car was driven by the same driver.
                                  The registration no of the car which he is driving is AS25 BC 7721.

                                    Sir / Madam,
                                    I would like to raise a complaint against the driver of cab no. KA 03 AB 9048. The driver on account of so called " urgent" banged my car from behind and broke the bumper. Instead of apologizing he abuses not only to me but also my sister who was with me. I do not understand how you people allow such people to ply on the road who drive so dangerously on the road, any day a pedestrian could become a victim to this driver's driving. I request this driver to be removed from driving any car in the future.

                                      I have an issue with my latest Uber ride. I was availing a promotion from Uber according to which 20% of fare would be discounted 5 times until 13th Nov. I was given the discount for 3 times but in the 4th ride i was not given the promotional discount. Can you please check what is wrong.

                                      My Trips taken are as below. Discount only given 3 times. :-

                                      1) Yesterday at 1 PM : Rs 170.06 ----- NO Discount
                                      2) Thursday at 12:42 PM : Rs 169.52 ------ Discount Given
                                      3) Wednesday at 1.03 PM : Rs 162.[protected] Discount Given
                                      4) Tuesday at 1:22 PM : Rs 151.[protected] Discount Given
                                      5) Monday at 5:55 PM : Rs 0.0 ----- Trip Cancelled

                                      Please check and revert.

                                        I would like to put the following grievance for your immediate action:

                                        I used Uber service for my trip on the evening of Wednesday, 9th November 2016 at 17.21, the charge for which was INR 453.48. After reaching my destination I authorized the payment for the trip using my Citibank credit card, ending in digits 4241. I received a text message from Citibank at 20.07 stating that the transaction was successful and my card was debited with the said amount. However, I did not receive a receipt of this payment on my e mail.

                                        On 10th November evening, when I tried to make a booking through my app, I was shown that there is an outstanding balance of 453.48. When I tried to authorize the said payment again, I have not been able to do the same. I tried the same with two other credit cards as well with no success. Every time I am told that there is a problem processing the said charge. The same has been happening till date. I have not been able to book a cab when I needed it the most.

                                        As you are aware, there is a problem with the use of cash due to the restriction of 500 and 1000 rupee notes by RBI. At such a time, when we need to avail cashless services the most, Uber has failed in upholding the same.

                                        Basically, it is a payment that I have already made. My bank has confirmed again yesterday, when I called them, that the transaction has been successful from their end and the amount has been sent to the Uber account.

                                        I am a regular Uber user since the last several months and it is frustrating to know that such an issue can occur. I tried to raise my issue through the app at least three times since last evening, but I was not able to speak to any customer care person to put forth my grievance, neither was my issue addressed successfully. In fact, your app does not have this kind of a grievance stated at all!!!

                                        I request you to address my issue urgently so as to enable me to use the Uber services effectively. Also clarify that there are no outstanding payments against my account.
