I booked a UberPool from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai. Ride share was Rs. 82. At Santa Cruz, driver said location written is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai but it is navigating to some Airport office nearby. I showed him that my Uber app shows airport location. He did not agree, dropped me at Hans Bhugra Marg, Shivaji nagar Vakola, Siddharth Nagar, Santacruz East, Mumbai and asked me to book another cab to airport. Fare estimate came out to be INR 104.46 which was supposed to be INR 82. I had to pay him, as I was getting late for Airport. I booked UberGo from that location to airport and there fare came out to be INR 137.75. Overall I had to pay INR 242.21 for a journey which should not be for more than INR 140 via UberGo as per journey estimates from original pickup location to final drop location.
On complaining Uber, they said that fair calculation is fine and refunded just INR 21 as Uber credits.
Attached screenshot clearly shows ride estimate to be around INR 140 via UberGo from original pickup location to final drop location for which I had to pay INR 242.21 along with inconvenience of standing on road and wait for UberGo.

Uber cabs have deducted amount from my paytm a/c without providing any service. When complained to uber, they are giving meaning less replies without verifying facts. Kindly resolve my issue. My uber a/c is linked to [protected]@gmail.com and mobile no. +91 [protected]. Regards Varaprasad

    Hello all,

    If you want to complain anything about Uber service or the driver or the money loot if any, you have to call God only because they have not given anywhere the customer no or phone no to contact. It is only the name Uber customer care no and contact no but that lead you to nil page.. Pl try and check in google. You can find even Mr Obama's contact no but not Uber no.

    I had a fight with the driver ( 6972 - [protected]) for dropping me in my place what I booked for but he is says what google shows only that way, I will go and if stopped that is customer destination. I had to walk for a km to my house even though I came from Hospital at that moment and no mercy from that driver. What to do with this kind of idiot drivers. I am patient and had band in my hand ( guiddyness). When I tried to contact customer care, I did not find the no anywhere. If any one knows, pl share with me. I want to complain atleast for the other pity customers like me. Thanks,

      Hi,

      I took the ride from Kempfort to Majestic in Bangalore on 28th Oct 2016 .While booking it showed ₹ 250 for the trip. But they charged ₹439.71 distance surchage and Surge x2.0 pricing.

      I booked the cab without any extra charges or Surge pricing.

      Simply you guys are cheating customer and without informing customer you are charging surge pricing, even driver does not know why this charges put on this ride.

      You should put surge price before booking any ride otherwise no need to fool customer.

      I want my Surge pricing money to my PayTm wallet back. You already lost a customer.

        I asked for a ride in the morning. The driver who responded was rude and not ready to talk and understand the location. When, I tried to make him understand he was not ready to listen and he advised me to call for another vehicle. I repeat, HE ADVISED ME TO CALL ANOTHER VEHICLE. As result of this, I got late for the office, had to wait for an auto and suffered .

        On top of this, despite the unethical attitude of your driver, you penalised me by adding cancellation charges in my return trip.

        Return these charges immediately to my account or I will be compelled to go to the consumer court.

        Post completition of my trip, 3x amount of origianl fare was deducted from my paytm account. Uber ia not refunding. Please help.

          I have travelled from bsnl bhavan, ernakulam, kerala to mangattil road on 1.11.2016. The distance is only 12 km. But charged for 24 km and also charged distance surcharge. This is cheating. I am regularly using uber from ernakulam to tripunithura and you can check my previous rides. Also an important thing is that there is no response for our complaints. Even not able to register the complaints. Pl do the needful to reimburse the extra amount charged

            On friday october 28- when driver did not turn up and switched off his phone, i was charged extra cancellation fee

            Today was worse. As usual i cook a cab from new ashoknagar to kailash on uber pool. I was asked to pay r 67.20 but when i reached by destination driver charged me 180 rs.

            Why did uber overcharge me. I consciously opted for pool. I need my money back or you face action

              I booked a uber at 11.12 am 03/11/2016 from shalimar railway station to kamal talkies garden reach. i got a uber n his driver name is lalan reg. no. wb04g7374. i ask him why you dont come to pick up location he told me i did want to come so u cancel the ride and search another. thn i start questioning why u wont come after that he start abusing me and used bad languages. i want to uber ahould take action against him. thank you

              On 3rd nov 2016 morning i booked uber for the first time to attend a training from vadapalani, which connected me to Mr. jayakumar(driver) TN06b7755 i mistakenly chosen share option and before start a ride i relized and i requested him to cancel the same but he refused stating that need payment as per uber policy cannot cancel with out riding he asked me for the full payment i was in hurry to avoid further argument he asked 50rs which i paid. each penny should be earned but not to be begged i had a very very bad experience today. it end up uninstall your uber app one customer may not be a big deal for you but...very bad

                I traveled from New Delhi airport to New Delhi station at about 2 am in the morning of 28th Oct. At that moment there was no surge mentioned in the app so I assumed that it will be a normal trip (which I have taken before as well, in the morning itself). Last time I took a ride from the same source to same destination at the same time it charged me about 166 Rs (103.87 Rs for 17.3 Km and 22.45 Rs. for 22:27 mins) whose bill contained every detail about each of the charges. But this time I was charged a whooping 354 Rs. At first I was confused, but the only choice I had at that moment was to pay the bill and then have a look at the bill summary which I have been mailed at the end of the journey. To my surprise all I got in the bill summary was that my trip fare is 354 Rs. The journey map showed that the trip distance was 21.89 Km and trip time was 28:50 mins. THAT'S IT! I mean where is the fare breakdown? Even if I was charged at 7 rs/km for 15 km and 14 rs/km for the rest and adding the base fare and time charges I get 265 Rs at best. Since there was no surge mentioned at the booking time I cannot add any figure to it. When I contacted uber regarding this, all I got in a reply was that "the price displayed in the app at the beginning of the trip is the fare you'll be charged for the ride, no matter what". I mean seriously? You don;t even have any explanation for the price displayed in the app at the beginning? It must be following some equation or pricing model.
                Sincerely disappointed by such a service from Uber.

                    Yesterday i booked a cab nd was charged 60 rs extra i didn't cancel any uber in the past.
                    In the past was waiting for cab for almost 30 min nd was calling the driver he did not pick my call then too i didn't cancel uber i dont msg from uber that had to cancel the trip pls book another cab. SO y my 60 rs were deducted?rply soon nd i want my 60 rs back

                      I have recently taken a uber pool drive from janakpuri to south campus library, daula kaun. Distance is approximately 16km, on evening of 02-november-2016. Cab number was dl1rt7833, maruti wagaonr and driver name was kaushal.

                      I usually travelled this distance in uber pool in rs.100/. While booking the cab uber app showed me that the estimated fare is rs 115/- and nowhere it is mentioned it is charging more than the normal charge. The driver also get another booking from jail road which was cancelled when he reached for the picking the same.

                      When i finally reached the destination surprising the final amount came as rs.335/-. Please let me know when the calculated amount showed as rs 115 why the final amount came as rs. 335/-.

                      Please check and let me know why uber calculated rs 335/- which is tipple than the normal charge, without displaying any pop-up to the customer that the charge of travel is more than the normal travel charge?

                      I'm not at all satisfied with your services and your service support. I feel like i have been mentally harassed by non-operation of your services and poor customer service.

                      In delhi charging customer more than the normal is illegal now. I need the response immediately from your end and need you to do corrective action else i have no option left accept to take up this matter with the competent authority.

                        I took the ride from pimpri to amanora in pune, and i charged 114 rs distance surchage. i am not sure why this surchage they put.

                        I booked the cab without any extra chages.

                        I feel you gyus are cheating, even driver does not know why this charges put on this ride and he is foorcefuly asking the money.

                          I am distressed to writeagain on this for the second time. On 27.10.16, at 12.25 pm, the driver without coming to the pick up spot, has cancelled the trip by himself for reasons best known to him. I contacted him over phone 2 or 3 times from 12.00 to 12.20, giving the location of the pickup spot. I was made to wait for more than 20 minutes, but, i was shocked to get a message that the trip has been cancelled and that you have charged me rs 50/towards the same. I sent a message to you, explaining the circumstances and asked to refund the amount, wrongly charged to my account. On 28th oct, i got a message from you, the amount will surely be recredited in my account in 2 to 3 daystime. But, till date, no action seems to have been taken by you.

                          The exemplary speed with wich you charged my account is not there in recrediting the same. I hope, you will not make me wait any longerand arrange for credit immediately.
                          More over, i would like to know, how you are going to compensate me for the mental agony caused in this regard

                          Evenafter a week, you are dead silent in refunding the amount, wrongly charged to my pay tm account, without my knowledge and consent??Is this the way, you serve a customer?For the fault of the driver, who hadnot turned up on the pick up spotand cancelling the trip by himself, you have charged my account, simply because I have a pay tm account.In your reply, you have stated, that your people will contact me in several days.Several days means, how long/ cant you specify the period, within which, it will be resolved?Hope, you will recredit the amount immediately./if I dont get my money back, I will be forced to take other legal means.

                            Hi Team,

                            Could you please help me out in getting my final settlement from Randstad India. I resigned on 21st Oct 2016, and I was assured initially that the final settlement will take 2 weeks. After I started tracking this in 2 weeks from 21st Oct, they started giving excuses that the final settlement has been made in 45 Days And My Randstand Login Id Also Close I Have no Offer Letter, I Can't open My Rand Stand Id
                            I did raise grievance ticket at their website, but they closed the ticket without any action been taken on the same, and I think now they have disabled my Id from raising any further grievance And Yet My Salary is not recivied.

                            Manager assigned, has not given not even one single concrete response, that she will get things cleared for me, and unfortunately the HR contacts do not have a single clue of what is going on with the settlement. They don't even know how the details should be taken forward and how can I get my experience letter.

                            Could you all please help me out taking this complaint and getting this resolved for me.

                              Yesterday I booked a ride for my brother from Infosys gate 6 to Reliable Pride Apartment in Somsundrapalya circle.

                              The ride was charged 150 rs from my uber credits.
                              Also the driver took 150 rs separately from the rider saying it should be paid by cash.

                              Please look into this and let me know why the ride has been charged twice!!!

                                On 26.10 2016 at 10.32 driver ram lal refused to drive us to Spicy eleven, Krishna nagar.so we booked another cab at 10.44.
                                Now at 10.44 driver satender charged us rs 383.
                                in his phn we saw the amount as rs 383 only.
                                but latter when i checked my phone i saw that 80 rs was extra charged for cancelled trip of driver ram lal.
                                i was charged Rs 80 extra[protected].
                                I have been charged 80 rs extra for cancelled trip but it was done due to refusal of driver ram lal to travel to my destination point.
                                plz see into the matter and refund the extra charged amount.

                                  I have recently taken a drive from Wipro, Kolkata to Ramchandrapur, Kolkata.. Distance is approximately 18km, on evening of 28-octobet-2016.

                                  I usually traveled this distance in Uber in 250 rs. While booking the cab Uber app showed me that the estimated fare is Rs 551, and nowhere it is mentioned it is charging more than the normal charge. It did not displayed any surge multiplier like 1.2X applied to a trip and asks for my confirmation if i am 'Ok' with the charge.

                                  Please check and let me know why Uber calculated Rs 551 which is double than the normal charge, without displaying any pop-up to the customer that the charge of travel is more than the normal travel charge?

                                  When I finally reached the destination surprising the final amount came as Rs 815. Please let me know when the calculated amount showed as Rs 551 why the final amount came as 815 where there was no such traffic and the travel time is only 40 mins?

                                  In West Bengal charging customer more than the normal is illegal now. I need the response immediately from your end and need you to do corrective action.

                                    It was morning 8'o clock, i was at chennai central railway station going to my room in chepauk. I booked a uber x, it was a toyota erios. Then a car came i think it was indigo he waved his hand at us, we thought it was him. He asked us for some crn number and took my phone then deliberately cancelled the trip. He said trip cancelled because you don't have the crn number. He asked us to pay 200 to drop us at our destination. We had to pay 50 cancellation charges along with charges for another ride. He said his name as srinivasan, the car has uber logo on it. I don't know the car number but it was a white indigo car. I'm sure he tried to fool us by faking it as a uber driver.

                                      Today, early i had a flight to catch and booked the can through uber one day in advance.in the morning the taxi was supposed to come to my place between 3:45am to 4am. i remembered the taxi showed near my apartment but i didn't get any phone to contact him. hence i reached to the main gate following the uberapa and happened to see a taxi outside my gate. upon asking why he has not contacted us, he said the booking has been cancelled. i asked who did it and why are we not informed about it. at this time its tough to get a taxi. he replied saying he has already got another passenger and we can share the taxi with him to which we denied. however, we booked another taxi and reached the airport on time. this was my second ride in uber and i am extremely disappointed with this driver called zubair, who was supposed to pick me up from j p nagar 8th phase.

                                        This is madhurika barwal i am mailing regarding a case of lost wallet inside the cab. We have booked a cab near mg road vivanta taj. The cab driver picked us up but by mistake cancelled the trip. I am unable to track the driver since he called from uber number [protected] and don't remember the cab number. Please help us to find the wallet it has all the government id's of my friend. My registered no. To uber is [protected]. I am a regular uber customer with registers name madhurika b. Kindly help us to track the cancelled trip since we don't get any messages like ola for every booking and cancellation we are not able to track the cab. When enquired through app they are unable to understand the issue and suggesting to go in trip and contact driver. Since the trip was not started by driver and it got cancelled. We just sat and got out of cab but forgot wallet in cab. Please help us.
