On 20th Oct'16 afternoon I booked Uber Cab and then I had to call the Cab driver (Name:Bhim, Mob: [protected]) 4 times (!!) to understand about his exact location at that time and explain how to reach at pick up location. During last couple of phone calls he started arguing and surprisingly once he reached at pick up location around 20 mins late of expected arrival, totally misbehaved with us, sounds so arrogant and unprofessional and at last moment the driver cancelled that trip.

Again on same day I had to book Uber (unfortunately!) cab around 10 pm, this time to my utmost surprise Uber has billed me additional Rs 60/- for previous cancellation. It wasn't me who had cancelled the cab. It was driver who cancelled it from his end and uber charged me in next trip.Though the amount is low but would like to highlight that uber should call the customer to confirm whether they have cancelled the cab or it was from driver end and additionally there should be some helpline contact so that customer also can reach Uber at any point of time to get the proper service during any unwanted situation. Hope you understand my point and take necessary action.

    Sir/ma'am,
    This is regarding my trip with uber on 18th october 2016, or rather my canceled trip with one of your drivers. For some reason completely incomprehensible to me i have been charged 80 rupees for a trip i did not take because your driver did not turn up and did not take my calls.
    Now after having charged me the money your application sends me an automated mail telling me that when a trip is cancelled more than five minutes after the driver accepts it i shall be charged this amount. So basically i have been charged an amount almost equivalent to the cost of my trip and that too without any prior information of such a charge being incurred.
    In spite of listing my reason as the fact that the driver did not arrive on time, how i am still supposed to be paying this amount deserves explanation. I have been availing your services for a long time now but such fraud is unacceptable. The information that i will be charged 80 rupees irrespective of the fact that it was your driver who was at fault, is something you should have bothered to inform me about before i booked the cab.
    Why i am being asked to pay for the antics of a driver who did not take my calls and did not arrive on time is beyond my understanding. Revert back on this as soon as possible.

      I have booked uber cab for my mother on pool basis from chandni chowk to civil lines and the driver picked my mother and reached red fort. After reaching red fort he got a pool call which was for daryaganj which was not in route to civil lines so my mother asked her to cancel that call and drop her first because why she will travel 45 minutes more for a journey of 15 mins. On asking so, the driver asked my mother that you can get down here if you don't want to continue. Is this the gesture your driver shows to a lady travelling alone. I request you to kindly fine that driver with a huge penalty so that he don't even think to repeat specially with a single female passenger. Please take necessary action.

        I have booked an uber cab in hyderabad uber pool type for 2 passengers. The fare estimate and the tarrif receipt after ride shown are rs.46 but the driver had taken rs.80 claiming that i should pay the amount shown in his mobile. At that time i paid the amount he showed, but when i checked my tarrif receipt, it shows only rs.46.
        Is the driver fooled me or the uber fooled me? I dont know, but i need an answer to this matter. Being a customer i have the right to ask for why i was charged in extra? I need a clarification i this regard.

          Booked an UBER ride last afternoon (18-Oct-2016) at 13:39 Hrs, Driver location was shown as 3 mins, hence I waited till 13:45 then i attempted to reach him at 13:46, 13:48: 13:49, 13:55, 13:56 the phone rang completely and got disconnected. Driver didn't even picked any of these calls. Finally I got his location in GPS and reached his place but vehicle number was different, with little suspect I called him again at 13:59 without approaching him, finally he picked and started shouting, I was just standing near his cab but he didn't noticed. First thing I realized was the person in the cab and person in the profile picture were different. His vehicle number was also different. He literally started abusing me stating why am I giving missed calls and why the hell you are not providing correct GPS location. I told him, I have been using UBER service daily for about 3 months none of the earlier drivers complained about this location also I don't have the necessity to give a missed call. Driver mentioned he drove all the roads for about 10 mins to identify this locality, when i asked why didn't you answered my call or at least you should have called me to get the location, He suddenly used some foul languages and very strong abusive terms. I said I will complaint this to UBER, he simply said they will give a warning and leave me. He mentioned If I still complaint he said he will come to my locality and abuse me. When I flagged this to UBER, didn't even got an answer. How can they serve peoples with these sort of Goondas. His vehicle number: TN76 AX0590 (Tata Indica). Driver Name: Esakki. Mobile: +[protected]. Please beware of this arrogant driver and worst customer support.

          So far I have sent 3 complaints to Uber till now I haven't got any sort of acknowledgement or response from UBER. I was charged and paid the cancellation fees for that incident /reported trip.

            After booking a cab i was waiting for more than 20 minutes..the driver was such a stupid person after seeing a pick up location also in map he didn't arivve on time..n i was getting late to hospital coz my son is not well..u people charged me 60 rupees when theres a driver fault..y the hell u people hire illiterate people.very bad experience with uber...solve it as soon as possible..

            I was charged Rs 170 where as the notification I received later stated the charges to be Rs. 88. Extremely unhappy. Will not hire Uber ever.

              Hi Uber,

              I called an Uber on October 17, 2016 morning. My pickup location was Kodathi gate, Bangalore and destination was Carmelaram Railway station. The driver was some where in sarjapur road and he put in 'On trip' once he called me, ie before pick up. later he went to destination without picking me up in 'On Trip'. When I called him, he said he done a mistake and he came to pick up location. During all theses time it is in On Trip. Later he dropped me near to destination, not exactly in destination and I walked from there to destination carrying all my luggage. He took 102 Rs which is the bill from the position he was in sarjapur road, his wrong travel to destination and at last a small distance from pickup to destination.Why should I pay for drivers mistake???Please do the needful to get my money back for the distance which I haven't travelled.

                I'm very disappointed with uber. This is the second time that we were charged cancelation fee unnecessarily. First we paid rs100 and this time driver asked us and even harassed us to pay him rs40 as a cancelation fee although the receipt we had showed no cancelation fee and we had already cancelled it and it wad credited again as credit points. But the driver verbally depressed us a lot and even asked not to leave car and go to police station with him. Uber has the most unfortunate and disappointing customer service. I'd say ola has a lot better service. They have a customer care number which is available 24 hours. Even in emergency uber makes no effort. Disheartening to be an uber customer.

                  I find it astonishing that it has been a week and since I submitted my experience with Uber and not even a courteous call back.
                  Here we use services hoping for it to be safe and delightful an experience.

                  From Pune we travelled to Bangalore for my brothers wedding.
                  And one of the free days, happen to visit our cousins.

                  If anyone is aware of Blore, knows how confusing the roads can get.
                  ALso the destination on the Uber app doesnt give you the option to put in the correct address. So I therefore put in the closest destination it gave me. We reached close by but since the roads had an address called 1st cross third block and since there were so many cross roads with block nos, we found ourselves lost. the driver was loosing it, not like he was not getting paid for his service... he started hurling abuses and yelling at my inalws who are senior citizens giving them a panic attack.
                  The driver too stopped on the way to fill petrol to which we were very calm and composed while he had to wait in the queque to fill his fuel, though the money was still running for us.

                  So on what basis was he gettin crazy? had the audacity to get us to get out on the road, but thankfully our cousin came to pick us from a near by road.
                  Please delist this driver, he is nothing less than a psyco.. and I will report this to the head of flash this experience on social media, if I dont hear from Uber.

                    Hello,
                    Uber has billed me Rs 60/- for previous cancellation. It wasn't me who had cancelled the cab. It was driver who cancelled it from his end and uber charged me in next trip. I wrote an email to the support team o[censored]ber but they are saying to email from the registered email id. I am doing it the same still they are not responding to it. I also told them that on this id i receive all receipts still they saying its not registered. Though the amount is low but i just want that uber should call the customer to confirm whether they have cancelled the cab or it was from driver.

                    Received a call from +[protected]. The uber agent told me that he will refund the amount to the debit card. He then asked in which bank i have the account. I told icici. He told me in a to arrange bank account of Syndicate, sbi, and few other bak and told me to call back. So for Rs 60/-, uber wants me to open a new bank account now. Great service. I have the recording of that call as well and the caller was rude which can be proved by listeining to that call. Pathetic Service UBER.

                      Yesterday I booked a taxi from my home address to Neelkanth hospital MG road gurgaon for my wife and daughter and it was decided to pay rs. 135 to driver by me in cash but fare charged by driver was 275 instead of 135.It was aporx. More than double.So, please let me know how can you charge more fare whereas fare was decided and destination was same.Hope you understand my point and take necessary action...

                        I'm complaining from Bangalore. My contact number as per uber id is [protected].My name is Dharmaraj. I had booked a cab on 18/10/2016 at 10.00 am, my booking was for a uberpool which showed the amount to be 74 Rs. My driver named Santosh with vehicle number 1138, at the end of the ride showed us a bill worth Rs 230 while the bill on my phone showed it to be 185.91 Rs. This is totally absurd because initially it was a pool and what is showed in the app has to be paid which was 74 Rs! secondly why would he charge as per meter?? I had booked a share cab. I need my cash back !

                          This is to inform that you lies a lot and also create a lot of inconvenience.

                          On Monday (17 Oct 2016), transferred money to my PAYTM wallet so that it is adequate for my airport trip costing 549/-.

                          But to my surprise, you raised trip price by more than 50%, it is highly unethical. Still I transferred Rs.1000/- more to my PayTM wallet and retried booking.

                          But then my account was blocked and I was advised to contact support, which is possible through email.

                          You American Company are no good since expect customer standing on road (waiting for pickup) to write mail to you.

                          Why my account is blocked ?

                          Is there anybody responsible ?

                          My money is blocked in Wallet and I had to pay CASH for my airport trip.

                          This is my horrendous experience with 5 STAR service o[censored]BER.

                            Hi,

                            I had a booked an Uber Moto yesterday but i had to cancel it as the driver- Devender (Bike Mahindra Centuro 6207) didn't came for pickup as per the suggested time on the Uber app. The App was showing 5 mins but he came after 15 mins. i was getting late so i had booked a another ride from the same Uber App.

                            After some time, the same driver (Devender Bike Mahindra Centuro 6207, Mobile number-[protected] ) called me up and started abusing words to me because i had cancelled his bike pickup.

                            i would request Uber to look into such incidents. Not appreciated.

                              I want to lodge a formal complaint against UBER and UBER driver for the heinous experience encountered today.

                              I have taken a cab from Kilpauk, Chennai to SEZ Sholinganallur, Chennai at 10:10 AM.

                              Driver was the most unprofessional person I have faced in my entire life... The worst experience I ever faced. He first tried to literally grab my phone for navigation stating Uber has not equipped him with navigation. He was damn rude demanding I give my phone... Why the damn will I give my equipment to anyone? I was using navigation for my own purpose as I m new to city. How dare he does.. Later he started throwing tantrum by raising his hands n making lewd gesture n resorting to profanity n lewd remarks in Tamil. Unfortunately I understand Tamil but can't converse. I tried calling 100 but to my utter dismay... There was no one answering at control room... I will take it up on different level as I am an IPS officer's daughter...

                              I m lodging a formal complaint against UBER n the Uber driver. Uber for not helping me despite activating EMERGENCY mode n letting the driver extract double money from me n driver on the charge of harassing my modesty in middle of an unknown place n in middle of a street... How dare he does that!!!

                                I booked an Uber Pool today in the evening but no driver was ready to come and when i cancelled my booking i was charged extra 80/-Rs. for cancellation. Want to know why i was being charged when driver itself is saying to book another cab and i booked the cab for twice and thrice.So i request you to look into this matter and try to resolve it as soon as possible so it may not happen in the future.

                                  This is to inform you that today morning at the signal of ravindra natya mandir dadar prabhadevi, hyundai xcent car no mh 01 cj 4998 dash through the car 110 by breaking the signal and have damage the right side of the bonnet

                                  The door opposite the driver side is also damage and is not opening as well.

                                  The hyundai xcent - uber driver name - faiyaz, been its his mistake he had broken the signal and dash into our car been instead of been apologies for his fault he was talking very arrogantly to us

                                  We have done the complaint of this accident at dadar police station (Shaitan chowki) - dadar (W) complaint no tar-230/16

                                  Attached is the snap of the driver

                                  Please train your 5 star rated driver to - drive the car properly, follow the signal rules and how to speak with others.

                                  Need a positive revert from your end.

                                    Last night I booked a cab from 5, Ali Yavar Jung, Premier Colony, Kurla West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400070, India at 10:22 pm with driver named Santosh.

                                    As I asked the driver if we could take alternate route, the driver was really rude to me. I realized that he even started the trip before I even got in the cab. After feeling threatened by the driver, I decided to get off the cab right away.
                                    The driver him self cancelled the trip and drove off quickly. I tried to book another cab and waited for the next cab in the middle of the road in the dark ally at late night. I realized that I was also charged by Uber for the harassment I had to go through. Even after submitting my complaint to Uber, I have not received any reply.

                                      I was charged with cancellation money last evening by Uber while it was the driver who asked for cancelling the trip; and this is not the first time this is happening! Why do I get charged every time with the cancellation money when its the driver who asks me to cancel the ride as he cannot go that far? why can they not see the destination at the first place and then accept the Uber request? I have been using Uber regularly but this has happened thrice with please look into it as it is really insensible and irresponsible on your part to charge the riders for the drivers' action!!

                                        I applied a promotional code on uber as i was a first time user. the app said promotional code applied successfully and i will get rs.75 off on 3 rides. when i booked a cab i got a notification saying "your promotional code will not be applied". after that i tried entering the code again it said "promotion risk". kindly let me know what went wrong and why was the promotional code not applied.
