Hi team,
I wanted to get this to your notice that the below cancellation was not done based on my intention. After booking the cab, i have called the driver atleast 10 times and he did not pick the call at all due to which i was suppose to cancel the booking.
Further, i booked another cab and the driver doesnt pick the call for 4 times and picks later and says me that he is on the way. After a long time, i just get a message that the driver has cancelled the trip.
After the cancellation for the second time, i booked another cab and the booking goes to the same person and he tells that he cant take the booking and cancelled again.
It was such a crucial travel for me that day as i was suppose to catch my flight - i would have missed the flight in case i wouldnt have got the 4th booking that i did.
Today as well when i came back, i booked a cab from bangalore airport to my home, and called the driver from the uber zone - the driver picks and tells me that he will pick me in a minute or 2, and he cancels the trip as soon as i disconnect the call.in case they cant come, why dont they atleast tell it out rather than giving false promises.
Now, my request is:
1. The below rs 50 is not due to my mistake, and its purely coz of the drivers who did the blunder. This needs to be reversed back to my account
2. Action should be taken on these drivers - coz they dont have any courtesy to atleast tell a sorry when i am facing so much of inconvenience. When i told them to somehow manage as i need to catch my flight, they tell so bluntly that they cant do anything and further speak to uber in case of any issues.
3. Some step needs to be taken by uber to make sure drivers dont do false promises and put the traveller's time under a big risk.
Its really frustrating and ridiculous to face such issues coz o[censored]ber's mistake and more over pay penalty charges for cancellation.
