I have 2 incidents with Uber which is not at all acceptable. Details are given below:
1. On 30th Sep, I have booked Uber cab. However, driver didn't reached my pick up point and even didn't bothered to call me. After a couple of calls made by me, he stated that due to heavy rush on the road he is unable to reach. Being frusted I came out on the road and to my surprise I couldn't find any congestion on the road. Once I queried, the driver confirmed that he is waiting in some other place, which is almost 1 Km from my pick up point and asked me to walk up till that area. However, once I started walking, I could not find any rush on the road and being fade up I have cancelled the ride as I was getting late. But, Uber has charged me Rs. 60/- as cancellation charge, though driver failled to turn up at the pick up point (which was clearly defined in the route map).
2. On 6th Jul, 2016 I had booked a cab from Uber. However, the driver has changed the money for to and fro travel (total 16.58Km), though I have travel only one way, i.e. approx 8 Km only. Once I came back home and gone through the Receipt, I came to know this incorrect charging. On 7th July, I have raised a complaint with "[protected]@uber.com" (ref no.[protected] and provided them the receipt and also the details of my journey. However, I have not received any reply from them till today..!!

    Hi, this is Dr Atul Vaidya. I had booked a Uber cab on Wednesday evening to travel from talkatora stadium to C1 Janakpuri, New Delhi. Since my phone was switched off later I could not check the fare status. I received a receipt afterwards stating that my fare was zero as there was some promo offer; but I have been charged for the trip. I request you to look into the matter and kindly do the needful.

    IN THIS CONNECTION TO THE ABOVE MENTIONED MY UBER ACCOUNT NAME MANISH SAMBHWANI MOB NO [protected] WAS DISABLE. I WAS COMPLAINT TO UBER SUPPORT [protected]@uber.com but they do not reply sufficient reason. some the before they ask me for my govt. photo id. same day i send them. but still account is disable.

      Hi,

      I Would like to report an incident and share my experience with uber.

      I had booked an uber ride under uber pool category .

      The pick up venue was beharam baug(Jogeshwari West) and the Destination was Marol (Andheri East).

      While booking my ride the system showed an estimate fare of rs 96.

      However post the ride i was charged for Rs 166.

      I am certain about my booking under uber pool and i have used he facility several times before, However i have never been charged as much as 166.

      Kindly look into the matter at the earliest as there is some technical error from your end for sure.

      Also please make a note that i have been having bitter experience again and again and it is not acceptable .

      please revert asap.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

        I have booked a cab from jayanagar to Hongasandra.
        Maximum Cost suppose to be INR 170.
        Fare estimate showed 167, but Uber charged 332.
        Got to know about surge pricing after seeing the receipt.
        Uber neither asked for my acceptance nor showed fare estimate as per surge pricing. Have paid amount in full and there is no right option with uber to raise a complaint on the same.

          Hi, i booked an uber cab and it arrived at my place. When i booked it i could see a message poping up that i will know my exact charge once the cab will arrive.but when the can areived the charge was not clear and hence i requested the uber deiver to connect mw to customer care after waisting my 30mins he said he is cancellig the trip. If i miss my train i simply want uber to pay for my trip. Uber is cheating customers as the driver cancelled the trip and i was charged Rs 60.

            I will like to start by saying there is no valid helpline that Uber provides. Phone no [protected] was charged 40 rupees more in my last ride and the reason was given that we are charging for last ride yesterday whereas a ride was never booked. I was never contacted by uber neither did I get any message.
            How come they charge more without taking consent. I was informed after the trip was started(not at the time of booking).
            Why doesn't Uber have a helpline and if there is one then why is it not mentioned in the app or the website properly in front!!

            I was told about the last cancelled trip today. isn't this straight away mugging people.
            Look at the time of cancelled invoice I received.

              How can they charge just double with the customer when i am taking the cab regularly from past a week on the same route. How can they do this with their regular customer. And their driver "lakhan" who does'nt have the sense how to talk with the female passenger keeps on arguing me not ready to tell me the customer support number. When he finally shared a number it was the driver support people who were not ready to speak with me by saying that if you want to speak you need to call us from the driver's registered mobile no. I mean are you serious keep on harrasing the passenger not only the driver but the support people as well. They disconnected the call and when i call back them again a guy picked up the call when i ask him about the customer support he denied and when i ask for the number of customer care he said we don't have any customer care number you have to write a mail i told him your driver is arguing with me and charging me double and you are telling me to write a mail at this point of time. Do i need to call a cops to help me that male "ankit" told me do whatever you want to do but we cannot do anything. The horrible start of someone's morning it was my biggest mistake to think that uber is genuine & safe for females. I want a proper explanation in this they cannot harass the customer like this.

                Dear Concern,

                I am satish. My Contact no is [protected].I had hired a taxi cab on 29.0.2016 from uber app and traveled to my destination Vishrantvadi, Pune. i have availed a coupon and there were no charge applicable for the same trip but driver has charged me Rs. 60/-. that driver's name Atul, Swift Desire and contact No. [protected].
                its not about the money but the trust. how such people looted publicly to a helpless consumer and we can't complaint anywhere.

                  When i booked the cab its 5 mins away but driver told to wait for long and told me to cancel but uber charging me for the same. Pathrtic cab servuces and drivers his name is santosh and his no. Is [protected]. Pl change this policy and hive trainjng to drivers. Pathetic u people are.how can you charge from customet when driver is not willing to come and pick on time and telling us to cancel. I havent seen a disgusting policies like you. Pl work on jg otherwise your comoany will be sinking very soon. Do you fhink you can dacoit custoners for your own benefts. cheap you guys are too.

                    On friday morning 23rd sept 2016 i took an uber. The ride distance was 24 km but my fare is calculate based on a 54 km trip. I wrote an email to uber but they are not willing to accept the fact the the fare was calculated on a wrong distance. And they are not willing to refund my fare.

                    Before the trip there is a ride estimate shown, it is shown as "estimate" and they are saying that it is the actual fare that is charged. I believe this is misleading the customers.

                      Cheating the customer by producing fake receipts

                      I booked uber from anna nagar to neelangarai,. Trip end at neelangarai but driver started to cheat suddenly by telling my phone got switched off i can't stop the ride.. Then he cal someone and told him to stop the ride.. Then i got a mail of 446 bill and the drop point at valasaravakkam.. But my estimate is 270..                       Very - very worst experience with uber cab first time.

                      Today we took a uber cab toyta innova (Taxi no: not received any message from uber) from kagadaspura to electronic city (About 22 km by shortest path) at 6:00pm, driver name: sunil,

                      We had very worst experience with cab as well as driver. Initially he refused to take money through wallet and he forced us to select cash payment.in-between journey he asked us to re-route many time and misguided us. Finally when we finished our journey it was showing 77.80 km instead of 22km. When we asked regarding the same he started shouting on us and making argument. Even he was about to fight with us. So we made payment (Rs. 1520/-).

                      We are not expecting this all thing with uber. We trust on uber but now and onward i lost trust on uber. Billing is also not proper from uber.

                      I want to re-estimate my fair and whatever excess fare charged by uber has to be refunded as soon as possible. Take strict action on this and this should not happen with any other customer in future. If this action has not been resolved, we will be forced to take legal actions.

                      When I had booked uberpool, it said the fare was 25 rupees. At the time of drop it showed me 87 rupees. I wonder the fare difference for a distance of 4 kilometers.

                        I have booked Uber India cab today around 5:30 pm.. it was a pool cab... as i booked it for 2 seats.. the driver already had his 2 seats fulll.. there were 2 men already in the cab, i booked a cab with my sister... there were 2 men sitting at the back seat.. only one seat left that was the front seat..

                        My question is how could we 2 sit when there is only 1 seat left.. he should have not confirmed the cab when there is no seat available.. he asked me to sit in the back seat and my sister to sit beside him, which we didn't like to..

                          I have booked uber todaty at 9.50 a. M from cakes rowdon street to bentick street and the fare estimated at rs. 60.00. I started my jouney for kalal mandir and when reached my destination at bentick street i was surprised to see that fare charged was rs. 90. I am using this route frequently the fare comes around rs. 65/66. When i see the details i was surprised to see that the details show that i have started my jouney from 50 jawaharlal nehru road. Kolkata. I never expected such mistake from a company likeee uber.

                            Misuse of my gmail account

                            Recently i have been receiving mails about using uber services which i am not.my gmail account is being misused for booking uber cabs.please block this id from booking anymore rides. My mail- [protected]@gmail.com. make sure this does not happen in future and no one books uber cabs from this mail.kindly look into this matter as i have been receiving anonymous mails....

                            I want to inform you that I was in a uber taxi and I kept my wallet on my seat and when he dropped me I didn't remind to pick my wallet from taxi .I called him after about 5 Minutes and he said that there is nothing on the seat .i had all my documents, cash ₹11000 and debit card .                               I book UBER cab on Saturday afternoon & evening the same distance from devli road jawaher park to MGF mall Gurgaon and back.
                              In afternoon trip I paid Rs.192/- the distance shown 18 kms
                              Whereas in evening trip I paid Rs.246/+Rs.150 promo card total Rs.396/- the distance shown 33 kms
                              However the distance was same.
                              I was very disappointed by this incident please do the needful and refund the excess charges to me

                                I had booked a cab on 24th September, 2016 at 3:04pm.When we called the chauffeur Mr.Rakesh Chand he showed his inability to come stating reasons of tyre puncture and requested to cancel the booking.On request of the chauffeur I cancelled my trip and booked another cab at the same time which completed our journey at the same time I was charged additional ₹80 for cancelling my trip.
                                I hereby request yourself to refund/adjust the amount in my next trip.Plz revert back otherwise I will have to take support from law.

                                  I have booked a taxi by 1.30 pm today since I have not received the taxi I rang up to the driver Mr. Kannan, In the mean while I can see in my Google map he was closely near by to my home hardly 60 - 70 meters away from my home, all o[censored]s were standing on the road & waiting for the car then after some time he came then we three people got in to the car. Then I asked the driver for the delay he said that the address given by me is wrong, since I have all ready used this facility the address was all ready prompting in the cell which I marked & I told him that I have furnished correct one during this conversation he got wild & started abusing me in front of my family members then after moving around some distance say around one Kms he informed me that he has cancelled the trip and asked me to get down from the car. I am a senior citizen of 78 years old & retired Executive Engineer Of The Govt, along with me my ailing sick sister of 76 years old and my wife were there, Since I have an appointment with the Dr. by 2.00 pm I requested him to drop me at the hospital but unmindful of my request he left us on the Road. But I booked another car from UBER & reached the hospital. All these day I was very happy with UBER service & the drivers are so polite & helping This young man Mr.Kannan will definitely spoil the image o[censored]BER. But I will use UBER only. It is for you to correct these Black Sheep.

                                    I had booked an uber at 2.32 pm today and the driver told me to cancel the ride as he had some personal issues but I found out that I had been charged Rs 50 for the rise that I never took. what kind of service is this?
