I had booked an UBER cab yesterday from my friends mobile. I was traveling with two of my female cousins. The Driver took a lot of time to reach my pickup location and beside that, the moment we entered his cab he started abusing all o[censored]s and misbehaving. When I asked him to cool down, he asked us to get down from the cab in the middle of nowhere. This is how UBER provides safety to their female riders??

I had to wait for more than 40 mins in the middle of nowhere to book a new cab.

I have informed UBER customer service but didn't get any response yet. I have attached the booking details for reference.

    Sir/ Madam,
    My self is Nitin Mathur, Address 34/63, Near Spring Filed School, Kiran Path, Mansarovar- 302020.
    I have booked a UBER cab on 16/04/2016 at 6:57 pm for regular checkup of my Mother (she is suffering from PSP (Neurological disease) and sudden vomiting, the cab is reached to my home on right time, I ask driver- my mother is can’t walk too much so please take your cab at lobby, but driver reply very harsh and say if your mother cant walk you must be book ambulance, the cab is not for patient, I told him we have just go for regular checkup, this is not a emergency but he did’nt understand and cancel the cab himself and go away without listening, the appointment is also cancel due delay. cab detail as below and attached

      I have charged an excess amount than fare, on the date of 17th apr 2016, and the i have the history of my fare list also, actual fare i have to pay is 7 rupees by applying free ride on that date, but he charged 127 rupees

        I booked cab from old madras road to vijaynagar, bangalore on 13 april 2016 around 9pm.
        While booking journey price was shown me 156.07 rupees so i booked cab woth pool service so it was shared with others. One more other person joined me in trip that gay also, they charged.

        While booking journey price was shown me 156.07 rupees but when i completed journey, uber charged 250 rupees . When i inquired, they are saying surge thi sand that.

        Actully its uber app problem, it showed wrong charges and later they charged me.
        I feel like uber is cheating customers.

          Hi, this is to inform you that I booked uber cab from Delhi pratap nagar to ghaziyabad model town, as driver called and said that uber can not travel to that route and not ready to go nd he cancelled the route then i booked OLA nd when i picked ola i got text that 150rs has been debited from my paytm wallet which is for canncellation o[censored]ber. I charged Rs 150 without travelling & u can see the proof below nd u will find it how uber is doing a fraud with customers... Please refund my rs 150

            Y'day 14 Apr 2016 . my trip from Aundh to Yerwada thru Khadki and Holkar bridge, I was charged toll twice for total of 60 rupees . while toll is collected only once near Khadki Sai Baba Mandir. This is cheating by Uber and highest degree of cheating is Uber doesn't have call in number or even the email address to write to. I will be informing RTA and Govt that Uber is practicing such nefarious methods while at other end advertising that they have slashed rates to 6 ruppes per KM .
            Really fraud company!!!

              I forgot my phone in uber cab yesterday. After reaching out to driver, he gave assurance of returning back the mobile phone. But later on he switched off my as well as his cell number.
              I am not able to reach him now as his phone is switched off. I have already logged complaint at uber support yesterday, but not much progress on my complaint.

                On 12th march, 2016 around 1- 1:30am my brother hit by a uber cab driver.
                There was a passenger sitting inside that cab. She told the driver to take him to a hospital and she took an auto from there.
                The driver took my brother's body and while driving towards
                Hospital he turned his cab to an area which is lonly(Silent area).He throw away my brother's body and left. Becouse of too much blood lose my brother died in the hospital(Trauma centre) on 14th monday afternoon (2:30pm around). Now the driver is caught by police.And i want to make a complaint against uber company

                  Team,

                  I have been using uber cabs since 2014-15 and having a favorable opinion all these days. As the company is getting older, i see the quality of service is stooping down and may spell doom one day.
                  Not all, but some drivers are spoiling the name
                  A) by way of their ignorance (Reading the map)
                  B) cars are not in a good condition, lot of rattling noises.
                  C) no cleanliness in the car.
                  D) no proper attire./ seat covers are very dirty.
                  E) sleepy faces.
                  Some of the other drivers are setting a wrong example
                  A) cancelling the customer request
                  B) not reachable on phone though the phone is ringing.
                  C) asking the customer to cancel and rebook again as he is heading home in the opposite direction.
                  I normally book cabs from malleswaram to rmz ecospace and there is no problem in the morning.
                  But getting back home is a big concern. They try to deny the service though it is well within the city limits as it takes more time to reach the destination.
                  Drivers are keen in getting shorter distances to complete their target for the day and claim the incentive. The uber drivers are keener to complete the target for the day instead of servicing the customers. Many a times the drivers ask the customers to book a different ride from a different mobile after reaching the destination so that the mobile number is different and the ride is counted which actually a fake request.
                  This happens almost everyday and become a practice with almost everyone.
                  I request the uber team to resolve this denial of service attitude of drivers asap.
                  As a suggestion, in the uber app, please incorporate an option "heading towards home" for the drivers to select in the evening (Eod option) indicating his last duty for the day, so that all customer requests can be routed in the same direction. This may avoid denial of service to the customer as the driver is also happy that his journey towards home is not wasted.
                  I hope the uber team will take this suggestion and feedback in the right customer spirit and ensure this 'denial of service' in any form does not happen again from the so called uber drivers.

                  Incorrect Fare

                  I tool a uberpool from my home to work which normally takes Rs50 when I take Ubergo but the drive charged me Rs100. There was no price surge and I was supposed to pay Rs32 as per the estimated price.
                  The receipt shows 6.07 miles whereas the distance from home to work is less than 2 miles

                    I was charged inaapropiate;ly by ubver.
                    They dont even have a customer care where customers can share their grieviences.

                    I am trying to book a cab for the past 7 days, but everytime i try booking one it prompts me with a message that the previous outstanding you are facing is not cleared yet.
                    They even have substratced an amoubt of 200, its still showing me the same issue.

                    I need my refund back after recharging my wallet with 555 rs, i am not at all able to book a cab from uber.

                    Kidnly look into the matter and het it resolved a.S.A.P

                      After I booked the car the driver called me and he was addressing me as 'tumi' instead of 'apni'. I cancelled the rode after some time due to some other reason but he again called me after an hour and did just did not speak anything. What is this. Teach your driver some manners.

                        I booked an Uber cab on 10th april at around 7:30am from my house to kempegowda international airport.He came till my house and then he said i will not go to airport because then i have to come back empty..without any passengers, which was not our problem beacause we booked only for one sided and no round trip.He also said "am not intrsted..although you are requesting...am going to city", he acted as if its his private taxi.I trusted uber and thus did not expected this.This was very much disappointing.Driver's name was VINOD KUMAR and the taxi was ETIOS his phone number was [protected].I will be contented if you are taking some actions against this.

                            Hi,

                            I had booked uber today for office drop.The Driver RAJU([protected]) Ahmedabad Region refused to enter my society just because he had to make an entry at the main gate.I am pregnant and told him several times that i can't walk till the gate and also that i am getting late for work.He did not listen and asked me to cancel the booking.Since i had an important meeting to attend at work i had book another car (although i got late for the meeting).
                            I Book uber on daily basis and all other drivers o[censored]BER as well as other cab provider companies never refuse to enter the society.

                            The Drivers's behavior today was highly unprofessional and irritating.Also, i missed few important discussions at office just because of a lame excuse of a lame driver.

                            Moreover why should i pay cancellation charges when the driver himself refused to his duty.

                            I want my money (cancellation charge) to be refunded and also action to be taken against such drivers with proof.

                              I took a ubergo cab from uppal (Hyderabad) to nizampet (Hyderabad). The distance is around 30 kms. Over an above the normal charges of base price, time charges and distance charges, uber has charged me for distance surcharge. This distance surcharge is not mentioned while booking the cab and definition of the distance surcharge as per the uber website is toll charges and airport charges.. However when i escalated the issue, they told me that extra charges after 16 km... And each km they have charged rs.18 for a ubergo...
                              My total charges is 422.33 and out of which distance surcharge is 101.. Which is around 24% of overall charge...
                              When i wrote to them... There response is that a normal way uber works...

                                This is rushang shah have to complain that I have booked uber cab on saturday dated 2th april, 2016 at around 7.20 pm from ctm express highway ahmedabad uber cab accepted my trip after accepted the phone came from driver side name raju after five minutes the driver rejected my trip eventhough I talked with him about my location but driver rejected my trip without finding me and as per uber noms I have charged 40 rs but actually trip was cancelled my driver so why I am charged I want trip so it was totally disgusting policy o[censored]ber cab and never suggest anyone to ride on it

                                Incorrect Amount charged to me.

                                I Booked uber and canceled within 5 min because uber is far from my place.
                                So they charged my Rs 60/- extra for cancellation of ride.
                                and 2nd time i booked another uber pool and they have taken additionally 60/- from mine. i want to refund my charges. because i have canceled 1st drive within 5 min when driver called me for pickup.

                                  I was trying to download uber taxi service in my mobile phone to book taxi for my wife for a trip next day. By mistake i confirmed the taxi and he called my wife. When she said that it was for the next day the taxi driver with the mobile number 0091-[protected] used abusive languages to my wife and threatened her. He misbehaved by saying unwanted words to her. I dont know his name but this is his number

                                    I am going to consumer court and i will file a case against uber today we booked a taxi and your driver didn, t knew any routes and he abused me and my mother and said us to get out of taxi and in another trip the fare was of rs50 and your driver blackmailed us and charged rs130 i will sue uber for this kindly send me your contact number uber i[censored] want me not to go to the consumer court

                                      I used an Uber cab this morning (1st April 2016) from Aerocity to DLF Square in Gurgaon. The driver named Parikshan cab no. 2919 cheated me by charging me twice on Paytm and took cash from me. On reaching the destination, Paytm was slow and did not show up, so he asked me cash and I paid him. Later I found the payment on Paytm went through. Will never use Uber again !

                                        I booked a cab using Uberpool at 10.43 am on 30/03/2016, which showed Rs.125.30 as fare to be paid . While the app was constantly showing 2-3 minutes of arriving time, the cab came at around 11.00 am. After the trip had handed, my phone showed fare to be paid is Rs.125.30 and I got the receipt via email for the same. But driver's device showed the fare of Rs.223. I had to pay extra on trip which highly disappointed me, despite being a daily commuter using Uber. This was the third incident of this nature. I want this issue to be resolved real quick otherwise I will have to take legal action against Uber.
