Hi,

I was trying to book Uber for travel to ASF, gwal pahari today morning(1st march, 2016) and trip was booked successfully and the driver started moving towards destination rather than the pickup location(sector 70, Gurgaon), when I called up he said that the trip is cancelled and I need to book some other cab. Now when I tried booking a new cab, it showed me that I need to pay Rs 57 for a trip which I never undertook. so when I called up the driver he said it happened by mistake and he is coming for pickup and suggested that I should not book any other cab, after repeated calling, he never picked up the call nor came for the pickup. Now this is again a case of cheating done by the driver for a trip he never undertook and charged money for that. I would like to report this case, escalate it to your higher authority and would demand that this driver be punished and that my money is refunded back.

    Hi,

    This is regarding one of my recent morning trips with Uber on February 26, 2016 (Recent Friday) with driver Jafarudeen. Since the driver's mobile was not working and even after reaching the destination, he was not able to complete the trip, he rebooted his phone or I don't know what he did that to me amount was shown as Rs. 0. Now although I had selected payment by card, I paid him in cash Rs. 140 as I wasn't sure about my fare and had applied promo code NCR 25. Even after paying him in cash, now when I tried booking my new trip, it showed me Rs 190 as an amount that I need to pay for the same trip and I was forced to pay again Rs 190 for the same trip for which I had already paid Rs 140 in cash to driver. Now this is a cheating, a fraud case by driver which is I see supported by Uber. I would like to report this case and want my money to be refunded.

    I have faced the same issue two days back. They immediately replied after getting my complaint but after that they do they do not bother to reply my mails. It's amazing and pathetic as well. Don't know what to do in this circumstances. Please help if anyone know how to get rid of this.

      I traveled from safdarjung enclave to Darya Ganj, in New Delhi by vehicle no. HR 69 C 7123. The driver refuses to give any Uber complaint nos. I am from Mumbai and at night around 11pm if the driver surpasses Darya Ganj and takes me towards Noida, How any passenger/outstation guest would know. Can 't driver understand he overshot the destination. He responds only when I ask him where we are heading to ... and he knows towards Noida, then why he didn't ask when Darya Ganj went behind, . He pleads ignorance ? Strange. It's my 1st and last trip by Uber. Uber shall survive by shear Crore population of cities, fooling newer people daily, so these complaints doesn't matter. So phone nos for complaints not existing/given.

        Hi,

        I have charged twice for single ride. I.e first driver took cash of RS 272 and later from my account 272 got deducted, travel date was 25 Feb 2016.

        I m really frustrated as neither customer care nor driver helped me to resolve my issue.

        Uber is real cheat as there is no customer care who listen to customer issues.

        I have put up my request but no help.. God knows how others travel with u guys, God help who got cheated like me and no one is there to listen.

          Dear concern,

          For this Thursday ride I have paid Rs.160 cash to Driver Lankeshwar as I didnot have sufficient balance in my paytm wallet. But when I recharged for my Sunday trip the total amount Rs. 293 has got deducted from my wallet. I called Lankeshwar on +[protected] for my money back. He also promised that the money will be refunded by 27th Feb end of day. But the same has not credited on my wallet. We trust this uber Company and chose most for safety ride. If this type of cheats happens with us, how could we chose you other than so many available services. I have also audio clip of Lankeshwar regarding promise of refunding money. Please take action and help to get my RS. 160 extra spent for the ride from Guwahati airport to Chatribari.

            I booked a cab from Karol Bagh to vikas Puri around 8:50 PM, today[protected]. I tried reaching to the driver but the phone was not reachable. After waiting for a while I canceled the ride and booked again. Again the same driver picked the request but he was unreachable again. I repeated this cancel request at least 3 times and the same driver picked the request. This wasted a lot my time and I finally had to book an OLA cab!

              We have booked a cab from Mathrusree nagar to Secunderabad railway station...Driver called us for exact address. He responded like foolish..He wants to come us to his way..At last we suggested and he reached. After that as per luggage he is not responded like good language. He told that like this is our own car. I[censored] don't want you can cancel. He is saying like that way. we only adjusted. We don't want like this service. This is very very bad. Please take necessary action about this type o[censored]seless drivers ...Thanks...

                Yesterday I travelled in Uber cab from Vijay nagar colony to Badangpet (Hyderabad). Booking done after loading Rs. 250 in my paytm wallet ([protected]). After reaching destination, billed amount showed Rs. 20.98 after discount in Uber app I my mobile where as the bill amount was Rs. 220 in driver's mobile. Driver refreshed about 5 to 6 times though the bill amount showed Rs 220. He asked to pay, After arguing with him about 10 to 15 mins, I paid the amount Rs. 220. After 30 mins, Rs. 20.98 was deducted from my paytm wallet.
                This was the my first and worst experience with Uber cabs.

                    I have used uber taxi on 23rd February 2016 from faridabad sector 9 to mayur vihar phase 1 extn and total amount was 655 inr which is wrong invoice generated by uber because they have charged me UP mcd toll tax and UP state tax and amount 200 INR charged .

                    * Faridabad new delhi MCD charge 80 INR and they have charged me 125 INR .

                    * I have sent many mails regarding same issue because they have done same mistake in past .

                    I had travelled on uber pool (Bangalore from Vibhutipura to Vasanth nagar) where it showed a fare of Rs. 226.85. But as i had my UBER credits with me so i should not pay a single rupee to the driver.But The driver charged Rs. 386 showing in his mobile that fare. . Details:

                    I have booked the cab from dhaula kuan metro station to dwaraka, when I contacted the driver he said he is coming, and he is not reached the location, again I called him then he said he does not know the location of my pickup, and I wait for 20 minutes the driver is not reached my pickup location.
                    And I have not cancelled the trip . but uber has charged 80 rupees for cancelation fees .even tho I am not canceled the trip.

                    On 19th dec 2016, i took a uber pool from egl to lbs nagar. The driver deliberately took the longer route despite my refusal saying that there is heavy traffic in the normal route and it will take more than 1 hr to reach and the longer route will take 30 mins . He stopped mid way as well. During booking the price shown to me was 62 rs but after the trip the actualy price charged was 250 rs. I have raised the complain . I have sent more than 20 messages in the uber help section but nobody has responsed yet. This is really annoying . They dont even have any customer care number. There is no way at all to reach them .

                    On Saturday evening (28th October) I booked an Uber ride from my residence @ 36/1/2C, Pulin Khatick Road (Opposite J K Files), PS Tangra, Kolkata - 700 015 till Lalbazar HQ. I travel daily by Uber. Unfortunately, the driver Sanjay Kumar showed 4 mins in reaching my residence. when I reached my residence gate to avail the cab (when it showed as 'ARRIVING' in my mobile, I was informed by driver Sanjay Kumar who had reached my building gate that he had already cancelled the booking WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME OVER TELEPHONE to inform me that he had already arrived. I was waiting for his arrival and it would have taken only a minute from my first floor flat to reach him near the gate. He cancelled it WITHOUT INTIMATING HIS ARRIVAL although the Uber App showed the cab as 'Arriving' when I reached the gate to await the cab's arrival. I was charged Rs. 47.50 due to the driver's cancellation FOR NO FAULT OF MINE. Every day I wait patiently on the road for Uber cabs to arrive on time which is hardly the case. Some drivers don't want to listen to location guidance but customers are expected to wait. Fares have been hiked nearly DOUBLE the amount every day, be it 5.30 AM or any other time of the day. Please put an end to such harassment to regular customers. Everyone wants to make a fast buck but not at the regular customer's cost please. Such harassment will only force regular people from switching to alternate modes of transport.

                      My name is Aswini Kanodia. I registered on Uber first time on my ID [protected]@gmail.com and mobile no. [protected] and get Rs.250/- free rids after that I give my Promo Code No. to other person and again I get Rs. 150/- free rids. On 21.02.2016 I registered on uber site for go on Mullick Bazar, Kolkata. After drop to me from your driver on Mullick Bazar and stop his mobile. On mobile shown Cash of Rs. 153/- how it is possible because I get free rids. I said to driver that I get free rids he cant listen any thing and take full cash from me.

                      I came to know that many of my friends get free rids when he go any where all free rids are disable without any reason. Please look into this matter as urgent.

                          I have referred uber to my friends & they have used uber through my promo code. In this way, I had 6 free rides which had been disabled by uber suddenly.
                          I have emailed them in this regard but no satisfactory reply had been given by them.
                          This is the way I had cheated because I have followed their ruIes through which this promo code should be used & when I had promoted uber, they disabled my free rides which I had received through referrals without any ultimatum.
                          Please solve this issue soon & ask them to return those 6 free rides soon.

                            When I can see at least 3 cars near domestic terminal on 21.02.2016 at 14.10 hrs, & they are not moving but available, still uber didn't take my request, which lead me to book an ac car with Rs 890, when uber ride is only around Rs 300 for the distance. I am going to lodge a complain in consumer forum for this irresponsible behaviour. Please furnish your explanation. As my senior citizen parents also suffered for this behaviour.

                              Today, i booked an Uber cab from Marol Maroshi Road to Mumbai International Airport. Uber charged me an Extra 120Rs for International Airport Parking and Surcharges. I didnt understand why do we need to pay this charges when i am taking a drop to Airport and not a pickup from Airport. Attaching receipt details.

                                I hav an issue with my uber account. Uber keep my account block continuosly 1st when it was blocked i gaved my pan card details and a picture then they unlocked my account again now they have locked my account and now they don't reply to my mails also.

                                  I choosed uber taxi yesterday from rohini to g.k1 they charged me 409.they bloody driver charged from shalimar to gk-1and its 33 km from gk 1 .kindly request to uber take strickly action to that driver. who charged extra money for that ride and kindly refund my money.uber i gave very bad feeedback to u.

                                      Hello,

                                      Today i have booked a shared pool cab, but driver without picking me he went away with another customer.

                                      Moreover this activity i have tried multiple times today to go my office but no one turned up. This is the first time i had bad experienced with Uber.

                                      Seems drivers are not well trained to acknowledge the shared pool cab. They are just hurry to complete the trip.

                                      In this multiple tried i have charged for one of the trip for which i haven't taken ride. When driver went from my place towards the destination i have cancelled the booking to book the another one.

                                      I have also updated the same to the customer team, but no one is addressing my concern.

                                        I booked uber sharing cab on booking time govindpuri to laxmi nagar and it's charge I'd 188 but after dropping he charge me 323 rupees. I have one coupon code 250 rupees so I paid 72 rupees.
                                        But in my fare details it's show 0 amount. So kindly return my balance as soon as possible and stop this type of activated .
