I booked a uber cab today with starting point cuttack n destination bhadrak both places in odisha.I had made enquiry regarding fare.n if there was no service to my area it should ve declined my rqst. Instead the driver arrived n threatened us 2 get out of the cab immediately.complete unprofessional attitude by driver n company.I ll never book another cab through uber nor I would recommend it 2 any. Also I had 2 pay d base fare of 50 eventhough the ride was cancelled by uber.if no step is taken I would initiate legal action.

If they blocked because I refer promo code so why there are option in apps for referring your promo code & give him first ride free & also you got 1 ride when they use. So now tell me what can I do.       I am a regular passenger o[censored]BER cabs of Kolkata city (West Bengal ). But, the experience gathered as
      on 14.02.2016 is very horrible.At about 22:10, from Howrah Launch Ghat ( beside Howrah station ), I
      was booked for Uber cabs from my mobile apps for returning home at Saltlake with my wife & my one year
      old girl child.We have some luggage. But, after some time, it was surprised to observe that the position of the car in the same location ( during booking of the car) but, no intimation was sent to me.
      I contact to the cabs driver over phone, he refused to pick up from my position showing that there might be some police problem though there are several cars/commercial taxi were stopped for passenger.
      After that booked car was came, but intentionally, it was stopped at a location away from around 50 mtr from me so that police can warn him not to stop.
      After that, again I contact him but he refuses to stop, still we are running behind him with my wife, little child & luggage . But, driver was not stopped his car.
      Being such a helpless situation, i was taken a prepaid taxi to return my home from Howrah. but, suddenly, a message was came to me with a bill amounting Rs 83.00(deducting from my paytm wallet ) for a fake journey route from Railway museum to 37.Balaram Dey St.
      It may also be noted that after facing such an unexpected situation, I was forgotten to cancel my booking . So An cancellation charge may be claimed, if applicable. But, how a fake bill can be generated for a fake route, it is beyond my knowledge.
      Thus, I make this complain not only for refunding such fake bill but also to request the UBER authority to choose the driver more precisely so that it doesn't make any further news Headline like Bangalore Incident.
      However, the bill with driver details are enclosed herewith for ready reference.

      I used to book Uber cabs for communication. But, such type of incident was never happened . Even my colleges were become frightened when i shared my experience of last night.

        Today morning at 10:39 i requested a uber. Which arrived and left without notifying me. and he started the meter, because of which i got charged, and the amount got deducted from my PayTm wallet. This ia a fraud case. And i want refund as well as apologies from the driver.

          I boarded the cab at 9.20 am from Kamala Nagar, HYD to Golconda fort, HYD. He was not following the route in the google maps and he was telling i know the route and was taking the long route. When the navigation route was showing wrong infomation, He was ready to leave on road and go. No Disciplined behavior, Was on call with friends and speaking non sense and commenting.

            Hello Uber Team, I am really disappointed with my last experience on UBER. I had booked a cab for my mother and Sister, the driver took a very wrong route, in the reverse direction, made a 5 KM journey to more that 22 KM. and a 15 min trip a 45 min long. I was scared for my family's safety, and driver was just driving with out any knowledge of the paths. Your emergency help team confirmed that.
            I called driver multiple times that he is driving wrong route, he did not listen. Now your team is giving me stupid reasons that the wrong fair and trip map is due to incorrect GPS. please explain how can your drivers do that, when the MAP shows the destination, and even suggests path.

            I also received messages from UBER for Rs 100 off before this ride, however no Rs 100 were discounted on thsi ride. have attached the snapshot.

            This is not at all expected o[censored]BER. Highly disappointed.

              Uber drivers resist and refuse friends or colleagues hiring cabs on pooling basis though the total fair will be paid by the passenger who had booked the cab and going to alight finally. Though this would result on savings for individuals, residing in the same area hiring different vehicles, this would also enable saving of fuel, a national resource, which we can not afford to waste. This is the right time Uber changes its policy in this regard or the concerned regulatory authorities enforce upon Uber, that it should not refuse pooling of cab.

                  Uber recently disabled my uber account without prior notice & without any proper reasons. On my last trip with uber the uber driver charged me incorrectly, and also he used slangs. So, i lodged a complaint to uber & they have refunded my money. But today when i was trying to book a cab from the same account, it was showing that, my account is disabled. But, no reasons were there and as a result i'm not even able to use the 250 rupees o[censored]ber credit from my previous trip adjustments. So, First of all, they charged me incorrectly on my last ride, they gave my money back, again they took the maoney given, just by saying, your account is disabled...!!
                  Is this is a joke ???
                  I tried to contact uber & they always send me robotic mails saying that sorry sir, the system has flaged you, & the system has blocked you. So, how the system has taken my 250 rupees ?????

                  These guys are just thieves. Please indian consumer forum board help me. Please help me.

                  Hello,
                  On 20th Sept 2017 I rode by Uber in Mumba. I opted for card payment. but due to bad weather and technical difficulties the internet was inaccessible which made me to pay by cash an amount of Rs239. But as the option was of card payment, the amount got transfered to my next ride. Hence I paid double charge. On complaining this to Uber helpline. They refused to help me and refund the amount back saying that its out of their hand.
                  I ask that if there are such technical issues happening every now and then, then why they have given the card payment option. If some issues happens they should consider it and resolve the issue by confirming the issue with the drivers.
                  This is pathetic!! All looters.

                    i mail my problem and asked why you have disable my account but they only say due to suspicious thing, i asked them what type of suspicious thing and if you have proof that i have violate any of your term then show it and what about my cash in the uber and what about my ride which were left in my account, , who is responsible for my cash money, , when i asked these question then uber support stop replying me, , itz clearly mean that they are cheating there customer and i m mail them from two weeks and they completely bother me

                      I registered myself on Uber as i received a message form my friend which said i will get INR 250 off on my first ride. I took out my time to go through the long process of registering by verifying my email and mobile. When i registered it showed one free ride. But the moment i requested a cab, it showed me message that Free ride given to me has been withdrawn.
                      I took an effort to write to Uber, they replied with requirement of Government ID proof. I sent that also, now they want snapshot where my mobile number shows up. I use Yureka phone, which doesn't show up the number snapshot. I told them about the problem, but they are not giving the promotion promised.
                      1) When i receive and verify the OTP, what is the requirement of snapshot showing my mobile number on the phone?
                      2) When i already provided them with Government ID proof, what else they want?
                      3) If company is financially not doing well, then why they are giving out promotion promises they cant fulfill. It claims to be an international service provider, but their services are like fraud local vendors.

                      Resolution Required:
                      1) Free ride which i was promised
                      2) An Apology email from Uber for all the time i had to spend
                      3) If they can't give free ride then email stating that they are financially incapable

                        I booked a uber cab on 14-jan-16 at 3:50 pm. While booking a cab I choose paytm wallet for payment option, however when I get down from the cab the person with me was told by the driver to pay in cash and amount of Rs 125 was paid which was not in my knowledge. Later on after some days when i got a mail from paytm, that my money has been deducted for a uber ride then I got to know that it has been paid twice to uber. So I would request you to look in to this matter and return the extra amount being taken for the ride.

                              My uber account with id- [protected]@yahoo.com, Mob- [protected] was disabled on 26 December when i tried to login my account through my new phone. Its my permanent number and hence I requested them to activate my account as early as possible so that I could use the cab services as I wasn't involved in any suspicious activity. They activated my account but only for a week and then again disabled it even when I gave my Pan card for verification. I was also willing to give the IMEI no of both my phones. But now when I mail them, either they don't reply or no action is taken. Kindly resolve the matter as early as possible.

                                I am afraid i do not have further info in regards to this as this is a system generated flag. Our system is the same across the 300+ cities that we operate in. It flags suspicious accounts and disables the application of promotions on these accounts and in some cases even cuts off access to these accounts.

                                I am afraid i really cannot be of any more help with this than i already have, which is to say, that i have tried my best to ensure you continue to have uninterrupted access to our services.

                                    Dear Concern,

                                    Please note, I had a very tough experience with the Banglore Uber Cab. Driver Confrimed the pick up, didn't turned up for the pick up, after he confirmed the drop location. My family struggled for 45 minutes on the road. He didnt picked up the call as well.

                                    Not only that, now the most unethical practice starts.He Turned On his trip in his uber app and which costed me a huge amount. I realized this when I got a confirmation from the bank. and when I was asked to rate the driver. I rated him 1 star, but no one from uber team is concern to verify and get deeper into the problem.

                                      i utilised uber taxi services but after ptm balance rs. 2000/- it is not debited i have paid the cash.
