Hello folks,

Lots of people don't complain but the matter of fact is that uber is just been cheating with their promotional code. They give the promotional code and the time you complete your travel, the promotional code is not valid and you have to pay the full money.

Today before i started my ride, i had a talk with uber guys on [protected]@uber.com and got confirmed whether my ride would be free till rs. 150 or not. They confirmed me and also confirmed me that your coupon is valid.

But when i completed i had to pay the full amount and they then said me that coupon was not valid.

Bull, if the coupon was not valid how could your system take it and even how could their team confirm it.

They are just making people ride and pay full..

This is purely crap and they are scamming people.

Uber is a big time scammer.

    Today at 9:29 AM I have booked Uber and my booking was confirmed with driver BIPIN. The driver did not call us. We had to call the driver twice and asked to come to near by nodal point. At 9:45 Am we went to the nodal point as Uber app was showing 2 minutes waiting time. From 9:45 AM we waited till 10:10 AM, but the driver did not come and uber app was constantly showing 1 minutes waiting time. We called the driver 5-6 times from two different numbers, but neither he picked up the phone nor he called us back. We tried to find the car in 2 minutes walking distance, but couldn't find any car. I had to cancel the trip and Uber charged Rs 60 from my paytm account.
    This is the fourth time I have faced issues with Uber service. Today's incident was nothing but a harassment to me. I am an expected mother and because of the Uber driver's unprofessionalism I had to stand on road for 30 minutes in this summer, both I and my husband is late for office. And I have paid for my own harassment! The most suprising thing is that the driver BIPIN has a rating of 4.4!
    I have faced misbehavior from uber drivers and false deduction of amount in past also. Such bad service, harassment and fraudulent act is not expected from Uber. They had to clarify me how they recruit such unprofessional drivers and why they do not seek for any clarification from the customer before deducting a false amount from customer's account! Why the customers who avail Uber almost everyday has to face such harassment?

      Complaint about the driver name mr. Rajesh, car no..Suzuki swift dzire (Wb04g6518).
      He took extra rs.150/- (Insteed of rs.232 taken rs.382 refer my last travel in undersigned uber account) during payment and after half hour i called driver after checking my receipt and in conversation he misbehave then i inform him i will complain against you and i (We/my family member) will be never use uber service due to wrong and cheater person like you.
      And finally he forcefully returned back in my home address and returned the above 150/-. But such unpeaceful/untollarable activity is not acceptable to customer.
      Please change the driver or train them properly how to deal with the customers.

        Uber suspended my account. I wasn't notified about it.
        I couldn't book any rides. I had a free ride in my account too.
        And now I can't even sign into my account.
        I reached out to uber by email and all I was told is that my account has been suspended and that it will remain suspended for the time being. I wasn't given any time information at all.
        I emailed them again asking why I was suspended.i still haven't recieved a reason for being suspended. I haven't got any reply to my email to them yet.

          On 24th march, I traveled in UBER cab. As I do not have any amount in my paytm cash. I choose payment with Cash.

          Driver showed me the amount when the ride was over, it was Rs. 196. Later when I checked in my account it was Rs. 136.


          More over, I had Rs. 150 free referral ride. I used uber 2 times in a row, don't know when this code gonna work.

          Seems like they got new ways to make money !!!

          Since the previous trip is a cash trip and you chose to cancel it, we will be collecting the applicable cancellation fee of INR 60 only on your next trip. Since you completed the next trip after the cancellation, the total fare that you will paid includes the following,

          Subsequent trip fare - INR 136
          Previous trip’s cancellation fee - INR 60

          You should have received two receipts for each of these payments that you will clear. Hope this answers your question.

            Driver refuse to come to destination for pick up and excepted custmer to reach him. Location was put west patel nagar for pick u and he did not bother to call and check address. When i called he was rude and telling that i cannot come and look for location i should reach him. I had cancelled the cab as this is not acceptable and best is i have been charged for cancellation.

              Hi,
              On 23rd march 2016, i booked a uber cab at 2:58 am for airport, and the app was saying the driver will reach in 6min. I called the driver for the road to follow and reach my house but he didn't follow the path and also he told that he does not know the road also. He reached my flat around 3:22am.
              Without delay i came down to board the car but the driver was not the one whose picture was there in the uber profile. He told me that he does not any road. With in 200mtr the tyre of the vehicle was punctured. And he told that he cannot go. It took at max 30minute to reach the airport.
              After that incident i book a ola cab and reached the airport 5minute late because of which i couldn't board the flight and have to pay extra rs2880 to board another flat. I strongly ask uber to bear that cost but uber is not responding over the mail to me.
              On march8th when i was travelling from airport to my flat, due to some technical problem o[censored]ber money was not deducted from my account but i sent an explicit mail to uber to deduct the money. If i am honest to pay the bill, than in this case why uber is not responding and accepting their fault and bear the cost.
              My ask is
              1 suspend that driver because he was not driving, he gave his car to some one else. Its a security problem of customer.
              2 he should bear the cost of flight

                Uber cab service is pathetic in India & you'll feel cheated everytime you travel with them. They will charge cancellation fee of Rs. 80 everytime the booking is cancelled by the cab driver due to his own reasons. Their so called promo codes never work and after paying the driver you have to lodge a written complain through your mail id or Uber app to resolve the issues and this normally takes between 24-72 hours to get resolved. Uber will refund the money and credit it in your uber account, so to use that you again have to book a cab. This is how uber forcefully tries to retain their customers.
                The drivers are unprofessional. Customer support too is very poor in India. Their app is not up to the mark and multiple issues arise during payment.

                  12:49PM i have booked Uber from Devarbisenahalli to Global Village tech park.
                  Drive Name is Nagesh and Cab number is KA41B5242. He canceled CAB himself and said, I am not well so not able to come to Global village, it is too far from Devarbisanahalli. But 50rs Cancelation charges has been applied for us.

                    I had travelled on uber pool (Bangalore from Vibhutipura to Vasanth nagar) where it showed a fare of Rs. 226.85. But as i had my UBER credits with me so i should not pay a single rupee to the driver.After completing my ride i got massage as '' your fare was zero'' on the Uber app. But The driver charged Rs. 386 showing in his mobile that fare. .                     So i need the Refund of my money which i paid to the driver that is Rs386.

                      Hello Uber i have a complaint for driver i dont know his name but the way he talked was totally embarrasing he talkled lIke (tum gnwar ho kya tum pdhe likhe nhi ho kya tumse jyada mai pdha likha hun and isi beech raste me utar dunga kya kr loge), firstly he reached at my location for pick up but even he did not call me and then i said him to i want to go at that but with different way then he start trying to say this cant be possible and other things seriously guyzz this is totally embarrasing.

                        Earlier, when I started using UBER, i never had any complaints regarding their response nor time. But for past 1 month, they acted carelessly, they didn't even contact me, I had to contact them, still from their location to my location it just takes hardly 5 mins. but UBER takes 20 mins and extra and they don't arrive on the given location we have to go to search for them. And we feel harassed. Try to provide better service to the client and try to be competent.

                          I have shifted from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on 02.03.2016 and was in Lemon tree hotel Navarangpura, I hired Uber to move from Hotel to move to a rented House, Safal Parishkaar-I, Khokara Circle, on 06.03.2016. I forgot my parcel (Woodland shoes) in the cab.

                          I realised in half an hour and called up the driver so that he can return my parcel. He confirmed that the parcel is in his car. I requested him to deliver the same to me. He said ok and he promised that he will drop the parcel to Lemon tree hotel. Later he didnt turn up and had an excuse saying it is very far and i cannot go to that place.

                          I requested him to drop it to the near by place to his home he said helmet circle, Ahmedabad is fine to drop the parcel. I forwarded him the address and the contact person's number. He contected him but didnt turn up to return the parcel. (Uber's Office is near to the place.)Driver's reason for nt returning the parcel: It is too far and i cannot go to deliver the same.

                          I requested the Driver and gave him an address which is 2-5mins from his home he accepted and said he will deliver it but didnt turn up.

                          After all this i called up Uber support, They confirmed saying driver has the parcel and he will return it on 15.03.2016 driver did not turn up to the Office.

                          Uber support connected to thir driver again and requested me to take the parcel from their office on 17.03.2016 and still there is no confirmation on parcel has been recieved to their office.

                          This is merely harrassment and nothing else.

                          Kindly help me in getting my parcel back.

                            I travelled in Bengaluru from Mahadevapuram to Chickpet on19th March 2016 morning. The fare came out as Rs.344. The driver told me that I will have to pay in cash as the Uber screen told "Collect the cash". I paid the cash and got down from the car.
                            After one hour, when I opened the Uber app again to book the cab for returning, I noticed that the amount in Paytm wallet has also gone down by Rs. 344.

                            I called up the driver. He said, what will I do, madam? The screen showed to collect the cash. So I did so.

                            I'm sure i[censored]ber continues to manage things in this manner, it will never be able to sustain.

                            Uber does not have even a call centre for complaints. Shame on these Uber guys, that they harass the customers in this manner.

                                Uber is looting the commuters
                                In the guise of “ surge ” charges

                                Uber is looting the commuters by charging exorbitantly and irrationally in the guise of “surge” charges. On the afternoon of 15th march 2016 at 03-38 pm, i have travelled from new bhoiguda to somajiguda. In the guise of “surge” charge, uber has charged me an amount of rs. 312 for travelling a distance of just 10.61 kilo metres that is @ rs. 29-40 per kilo metre.
                                When commuters open the uber application for booking of a cab, uber is compelling the commuters to accept higher charges (Surge). Uber had not clearly specified what is surge ? Generally during the odd timings, many transport service providers charge half (½) return i.E. 50% of the normal fare as extra. But, uber in the guise of surge, has charged rs. 176-58 extra on a normal fare of rs.135-83 that too in the afternoon at 03-38 pm !
                                I request the commuters to take a note of it and be aware while accepting surge charges. I request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against the cheating and looting by uber.

                                  This email is regarding deduction of money amounting to Rs.190 from my Paytm account. All though it was a free ride on uber cab. The ride was from Laxminagar to New Delhi Railway Station on 9th march 2016 around 11:45 AM. I have sent my complain to UBER and they are saying that it is deducted because i have violated there some term of service. When i further asked them how i violated there Term of Services they are not replying me. I can't understand how using There own complain code which is a part of there promotion strategy violets there own terms of service.                                     Mobile no- [protected] but due to some personal problem I have to cancel the ride and also it got deducted my free ride. I am really not satisfied with this kind of issue please solve and give my free ride back. So that I can get a ride as I have emergency to go airport by 6 in the morning.

                                      I had booked this ride to the airport for a flight at 6am. The driver was not even ready to wait outside my building for even 10 minutes saying "Morning mein hume duty karne do" meaning its morning let us do our duty. He was very rude.
                                      On reaching madahalli flyover I told him to take a shorter route which also had less traffic. He said he cannot take that since it does not fetch him enough money. He said the other route has toll and wants to take that otherwise he is in loss. He was then not ready to go and he dropped me in the middle of nowhere. I missed my flight because of him.
                                      I want to know what action you take against such employees.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        i have a free rides of Rs 250 which was valid till 27 Feb 2016. when i checked this on 27 morning its shows valid till midnight, even i got a message in my email that your's free ride will expires midnight but on the same evening when i was trying to book a cab that time i found that free rides was not available. When i contacted to uber Customer care regarding the same issue, they told me its already expired on 25 Feb 2016. Till now i am not able to understand who is telling lie uber customer care or their Apps.
                                        After that i have another 2 Free Rides of Rs 250 and Rs 150 which is valid few more months. On 12 Mar 2016, when i booked a cab in delhi and for that i applied that free rides but i am totally shocked when i saw the bill of Rs 231 after the ride. when i saw my free rides, i found that both the rides are disappeared from that segment. When again i contacted to customer care regarding the same issue, i got this stupid reply:

                                        Till now i am not able to understand wat exactly happened, when again i contacted him for the clarification of the reply but till now i didn't got any response from the uber.

                                        Now i have few question:
                                        (1) Why you guys give such type of fraud offers once you are not able applied it in actual.
                                        (2) Why there is no customer care number in india so that we are able to talk them personally.
                                        (3) Why don't you guys contacted telephonically from yours side to clarify the matter much better way.
