Dear Sir,
i have a free rides of Rs 250 which was valid till 27 Feb 2016. when i checked this on 27 morning its shows valid till midnight, even i got a message in my email that your's free ride will expires midnight but on the same evening when i was trying to book a cab that time i found that free rides was not available. When i contacted to uber Customer care regarding the same issue, they told me its already expired on 25 Feb 2016. Till now i am not able to understand who is telling lie uber customer care or their Apps.
After that i have another 2 Free Rides of Rs 250 and Rs 150 which is valid few more months. On 12 Mar 2016, when i booked a cab in delhi and for that i applied that free rides but i am totally shocked when i saw the bill of Rs 231 after the ride. when i saw my free rides, i found that both the rides are disappeared from that segment. When again i contacted to customer care regarding the same issue, i got this stupid reply:

While we certainly appreciate you sharing your personal promo code with friends and family, after reviewing your account, it appears the usage of this promo is in violation o[censored]ber's Terms of Service. Unfortunately we won't be able to honor the value of the promotion.

Till now i am not able to understand wat exactly happened, when again i contacted him for the clarification of the reply but till now i didn't got any response from the uber.
Now i have few question:
(1) Why you guys give such type of fraud offers once you are not able applied it in actual.
(2) Why there is no customer care number in india so that we are able to talk them personally.
(3) Why don't you guys contacted telephonically from yours side to clarify the matter much better way.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Happy to explain what happened here!
Since the previous trip is a cash trip and you chose to cancel it, we will be collecting the applicable cancellation fee of INR 60 only on your next trip. Since you completed the next trip after the cancellation, the total fare that you will paid includes the following,
Subsequent trip fare - INR 136
Previous trip’s cancellation fee - INR 60
You should have received two receipts for each of these payments that you will clear. Hope this answers your question.
