No rides taken but amount deducted is Rs 152.22 for 5 km. I have booked cab and called driver but he never picked up phone. Status showing calling driver the bell was ringing. I came to know from y friends that there is a big fraud Company is playing with some drivers. This guy name Praveen is a fraud and he will eat up your money. You call him he will not picup phone and amount from your account will show debit. You will get a receipt of also for the same. Uber will not reply to such complaint as they are doing similar fraud with different kinds. They also taking share of such practice. Please beware and do not opt for Uber. I have logged my complaint to Police but they said resolved this with Uber as amount is very low for them to take up case against them. This driver no is [protected]

    Dear Sir,
    I have 1 Free ride having Account with Uber ([protected]@gmail.com). I got hired Ubergo from Gurgaon Sec 31 to Mehrauli on 22 January, 2016. After Completion of ride, i told driver to pay the amount through my Paytm wallet but he told he is new to Uber system and he is unable to process.Hence, he took Cash of Rs. 320 from me. After 5 min i got message that amount of ride has been deducted from paytm wallet.

    I took a ride on 5th July and I paid cash of Rs.522. But on 31st July again the payment got deducted from paytm wallet. Please look into this matter

      The driver purposely took a waste turn which was not even showing the map that would gone the opposite way towards some village. When asked he replied " this is the only road" . Going further that road was closed, so we made him took the correct way which was the straight highway NH-2 road without any diversion. The driver was taking to my friend is such a demeaning manner. I cannot even describe the way he was to my female friend and he was so insulting in his tone. Moreover, "he mentioned we take purposely long routes otherwise we don't get money".

        We booked a cab which is 15mins away from our place we keep on calling for almost 45 minutes and listened the same answer I am coming when we tried to give our address details he has no patience to listen that and he told that he will come using gps after 15mins when we called him he arrogantly answered that your gps is not working so am going back we told that my sister is pregnant and we booked cab in her emergency he didn't listen anything and just cut the call and didn't lift my call again I don't know how a person can be so insensible towards a pregnant lady worst Uber and worst driver and he charged 40 rs for cancellation such a stupid. ...

          I used the pool service and booked a cab from Dwarka to Gurgaon. I was allocated the pool with another rider who was heading towards Saket. These two are entirely different locations and in no way be pooled.

          Either of the user had to go to other user location and then head towards his own. In short a 40 min ride would have turned into 2 hr journey. Also the route shown to both the user was not diverted.

          So either of the user had to cancel the ride and so i did the same. But still I had to pay the entire amount and also resulted in waste of time for both the user.

          The driver also spoke to the customer care but no solution was provided and was told to manage the situation.

          The pool service thus seems to have some limitations and should be allowed only if these kind of problems are resolved.

            My booking was confirmed and driver Subramani ( Tata Indica : KA088490 ) was supposed to come in 4 minutes. As I was waiting for the car, I received a call from Subramani asking for my drop location. After I informed him the location, Subramani stopped taking any call from me and did not come. I was waiting for 30 minutes. There was no response from him. It was very shocking behaviour from a driver from such a reputed company like Uber.

            Over and above I received a bill of Rs. 50 for cancelling the trip.

            I request you to take a strict action against such driver and give me a reverse credit of Rs.50.

            Such behaviour of your driver will have a serious impact on a loyal customer like me and will force me to look for some alternate solution if any action is not taken.

              I had taken a ride in South Kolkata in the afternoon of 14th January 2016 and the Fare was Rs 103/- was charged thrice from my Bank Account vide POS[protected], POS[protected] and finally POS[protected]. Please be kind enough to check the mistake on your part and refund the extra Amount of Rs 206/- Charged by you. Regards

              I too am having a similar issue. I was charged thrice for my morning ride on 16th January. i have sent several emails and posts on twitter to refund the extra collected. They are not responding to my emails. Only reply to my twitter post stating they are looking into the matter. Money was debited thrice in a span of 30 mins but it has been 3 days since I complained and yet the money is not refunded nor they are providing any deadline to get back to me.

              I am facing the same issue. Wrote to Uber several times no reply. I have sent them the receipt of mu paytm wallet. Which shows that my account got deducted rs 97 three times. No one is even acknowledged my emails. Pls refund the extra amount of rs 194 to my wallet. My account is listed as [protected]@gmail.com.

                This happened in Kolkata. I was Travelling with my wife on Jan 15 from BowBazaar to Sodepur. I have given the destination as Sodepur on the Aap. However the driver was very rude and he dropped me somewhere midway saying that he cannot go beyond his service area. However when I gave my destination as Sodepur the aap did not say it was beyond service area. This was a very disturbing situation for me. I had luggage and I was in so much trouble because I have availed Uber Cab.

                  This is to inform you that I've been charged on 5th Jan 2016 for not using your Uber cab service. By mistake a request is made. While I was in the process of cancelling the request, I received a call from driver Mr. Kamal (mobile no. [protected]). I told him to cancel the request. Later on, I see that a receipt with charges have been sent on my mobile app. This is a cheating by Uber driver. I am sorry to say that, Uber driver cheat customers and this is the kind of drivers Uber have for providing service. I request Uber to cancel the receipt and also refund the amount and promotional amount plus penalty for cheating and providing hassle to me.

                    Company's referral programme

                    I earned six free rides as per Company's referral programme. The Company has withdrawn the earned free rides without justifiable reasons at its own whims.

                    The ubermoto money

                    Today i took a ride with dashrath from vastrapur to kataria automobiles and i think i have been charged wrong please look into this as i am a regular rider.

                      I have booked a ride from my home to airport which had charged me 190. Later on after 1 hr when again I booked an uber for returning home they charged me 400. How is it possible?? How can the fare for the same distance will vary this much?? Stupid Uber facility.

                        Hi Am Balaji did not registered with UBER any time. some has wrongly registered with my email instead of his. But unfortunately i tried to registered with uber thinking they have good service, it said user already registered.

                        When I tried using the forgot password it said the account has been disabled.

                        When I wrote to delete the id so that i can register, the so called worst customer care executive Jerome was asking me to provide me government based ID proof and a screen shot of my mail.

                        How can i believe them, they have to use the rotten brains that if am not the account holder how can i write the mail to them.

                          I am en route Lower Parel from Bandra. I booked an Uber which arrived 15 mins late. Tried calling the driver twice but he refused to answer! I could see him take a detour on the map and stopping on the way. When he arrived I asked him why he did not answer my calls he said arrogantly that he didn't receive any calls. Which was s lie! Then he asked me whether I would like to go ahead with the journey or get off very arrogantly! I think he was hoping I would cancel! His name is Pramod and the car number is mh47 c 7170. And yes he was eating aloud in the car

                            I know that the first ride in Uber is free and yesterday I used UBER for the very first time. I made a travel in Uber Cab which costs around Rs 90 and I was informed by the cab driver that Rs 90 is deducted from the free amount of Rs 250 and the balance amount of Rs 160 can be used for my next ride. I believed his words and hired an Uber later in the evening to the bus station. Since I was informed that there is Rs 160 left in my account to spare, I didn't even bothered to take cash from ATM. When I reached the destination, I was asked to give an amount and the driver asked me to pay the amount in cash. To be sad, I didn't had enough liquid cash to pay since I didn't find any ATM nor I had PayTm. So I had to borrow this amount from a guy which was quite humiliating and left me ashamed. It was all due to a wrong message given to me by the previous Cab driver. I had great expectations from this great start-up and unfortunately I had a very bad start with UBER. I know that only first ride is free, but the words of your driver made this confusion and humiliation. Sorry, UBER.

                              Pls refer to my E-mail appended below which is self explanatory. If you still feel that refusal by your driver to pick-up with-out coming at a pick-up location carries a cancellation charges of Rs. 80/- on the customer, is a total surprise. I think you must penalise the driver for refusing to reach pickup location and give bonus to customer for wasting his time for refusing. Thanks and waiting for your reply.                                 Driver called BAPU, drives a white Tata Indica Vista. I was travelling from Loni to Shivajinagar on last friday. As we stopped near a medical shop because i had to buy some medicines, the moment I was getting down, a stupid bike driver tried to overtake from our left and claims to call the footpath, a ' way for the bikes" As this happened, Mr greedy Bapu tried his hands on as well and blamed me for the accident( as he wanted me to pay for his repairs) as these guys were Marathi, half of the things, I couldnt understand but ultimately I was the one who had to pay extra for my amazing driver Bapu. That amount is nowhere. It just went into his empty pockets. So Uber, you just lost one customer and his surrounding customers as well :)

                                  I booked a cab on 24th morning from NASC to New Delhi Railway station. THe driver said to me that he is far off and that I have entered the wrong puck up location. Do I have to locate the Driver first to enter my location?
                                  He asked me to cancel the booking and book again. I cancelled the trip and tried to book again. Suddenly the price was raised 2.1 fold. You are fleecing the customers just like the auto drivers of Delhi. I did not book the trip and now I have been sent a bill of Rs 80. What for? This is my last interaction with company like UBER.

                                      I booked a uber go taxi on wednesday night the 23rd dec 2015 from dehradun shatabdi train which got a little late due to being held up at NDLS stn signal which permits the train to proceed to the platform. The driver cancelled the trip which was fine by me but later I recd a mail that I have been chgd Rs 80 for waiting without going through the trip. I understand that this is due to change in policy o[censored]ber. My grouse is that any change in policy must be notified to the customer so that none feels cheated and knows that a penalty will be charged and u will also not be allowed to travel

                                        I have booked a taxi from ambience mall gurgaon to dwarka sector 10...got the contact details driver Khrsheed Khan ...first he told told to wife on phone that he wont be able to come to gate no. 1 to pick and he asked my wife to come at gate number 4...when my wife came to gate number 4 ...that has asked her to came at red light which far from that gate number four..even then also my wife who was carry our 1 year old child and all the shopping bag in this chilling evening ran behind that car...for at least half kilometer...and then that said that he wont go to dwarka...
