Hello,

This side Anwar Sheikh
i had travelled from uber on 17th July 2015 with my credit card account and As i was new for uber i was not able to pay the amount on same day as i paid the amount on 22nd july it was not updated and i got reminder whenever i try to use the app
i tried contacting uber and they asked for screenshot and i send them the same
after that i send 3 reminders for the same and still no response from there side than i made the payment once again on 28th july so as to use the service but they are not reverting the transaction as it was done two times
i suppose here it will be resolved
kindly provide a solution for the same as
this kind of exercise ends up in harassing customers and its very annoying to see that transactions done are not checked and replied by uber team

kindly update this and let me know or i have to take some legal action

    I was given Rs 250 as first ride free money for my first ride in Uber. When contacted driver, he said he will be coming in few minutes time but never turned up but he switched on the meter and then in few minutes time he switched it off charging Rs 50 for the trip and thus I lost my initial free ride value of Rs 250/ - I am sure this has done in connivance o[censored]ber management as though I had preferred a complaint yesterday, no one is bothered to attend this issue

      Today I ordered ice cream from UBER from a promotional offer however I was billed Rs. 400 whereas it should be Rs. 200. I tried contacting the driver however he was out of reach. I was not explained the charges & the guy handed over 4 ice cream bars. I am ready to refund 2 extra bars & get my 200 Rs. credited back. Please help me with this as uber support is really slow.         My account was suspended for no good reason. They asked me to have a balance in my account. I did recharge my account with Rs.500/- out of that they've deducted 286/- from my account on the name of some old settlement. Then after being behind them for 3 days they lied that they've activated my account. It was raining over here when I tried booking the cab from the app, it denied with some error. I did write them multiple emails but they didn't even bother to reapond to the emails. Such a pathetic way to give the servuce to the customer. Very poor service UBER Never go for it Regards

          Hi my slef narayana, Bangalore, I have book Uber cab in 11of July Sunday driver # [protected] he's name is Manjunath after reaching destination of 42 kms travelled his app is not working he's demanding cash of 800, after conversation of 1hour I paid 500.cash . He took ran away. While 3hours after i have opens Uber app in my account 693 deducted .so bothe sides customer only vitctim.I have called so many times to driver he's telling all stories not picking calla.any one help out 500 cash to back.

            My Name is Lomesh Detroja and I am an user o[censored]ber's Cab service for quite some time now. I have been using its services via an account registered with them. Now They have blocked my access on the grounds that my account was flagged due to its use on another device. Though they have restored the access but I cannot use it on my Device in any way. I want access to the account on my device is restored. After Contacting them for a lot number of times I haven't got any resolution. I hope this forum helps me get a resolution.

              Hi. I had a free rides from Uber. I traveled from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad. And check my balance and found that Rs. 297 is deducted from my A/C. And they also delete my 2 free rides. I had complaint to them but didn't get any reasonable answer from them. Kindly help me.

                One user used my code to get registered on Uber . So as per process, he got one free ride and I should also get free ride . But I am unable to see any free ride in my account . When I reported this to uber support then support said that that person used diff code and we can let you know the code if that person gives sign off from his registered email Id . I got the same sign off . Now nobody is reverting from uber support side . My details - shukla.[protected]@gmail.com

                  On 21st June, we had booked a cab at 10pm from Seasons Mall, Pune to Hinjewadi Phase 1. The cab driver started the ride without asking us way before we entered the cab and after reaching Lakshmi Nagar, which is very deserted at night times, he took the cab to the left of the road and stopped the ride without asking us. He said, the car has break down. We had ladies on board. When asked about his supervisor, the response was disturbing. We had to book another cab and wait for almost 30 minutes in that area. I am not requesting for any refund but the company has to push up its customer service.This is the worst experience. Cab details: TATA Indica No: MH12DT2104 Driver : Shanur

                    I have been using the Uber cab facility for last few months and have more than 5 rides and 2 free rides. All of my rides have been in the Mumbai region. On 20th June 2015, I tried to avail the cab from Howrah station ( Kolkata). To my surprise the cab could not be booked. As I was in urgent need of the cab, I mailed the support team on priority. The support team replied saying that due to security reason my account has been blocked and I have to provide id proof and mobile number proof to reset the account. Firstly Uber is a private entity and it is not a government undertaking, so asking for ID proof is wrong. Though due to urgency, I captured a pic of my PAN card mailed the same to them. After a second reminder they replied that I have to provide the mobile number proof. This was too much for me, considering that I am standing in rain and waiting to book a cab. Firstly I want to know, was the government ID was not sufficient to verify my identity and moreover under what authority Uber is asking ID proof from their customer. Is this not a case of breach of customer privacy. They do not provide any information on what is the security breach that resulted in blocking of account and how they will maintain the privacy of my shared identity proof. Uber can be alluring considering the promotional offer, but in long run it has unethical practices in run. Also my 100 rs credit is now stuck in Uber account.                     They re activated my account after number of follow up and mails. I connected with UBER customer service on mail. They did not call me. Uber: [email protected]
                    Disgusting this is now happening with me now...
                    Same problem here. What gives them authority to ask for our ID proof? I am hiring a taxi for god's sake, not applying for passport.
                    Me too faced the same problem but i will not provide my Govt ID or Photo ID. I can not risk of my personal information to a private company either they continue the account or deactivate but awareness in people for not providing Govt. ID and photo is must because we are risking our personal Information in the name of security reason. Do we look like a terrorist or some fraud. If there is a security issue than why dont you asked from beginning and why you are doing it randomly.

                    Please I request all of my brothers and sisters to not provide them your personal information to a non Govt. entity, do not risk your personal Information in the name of security.

                    I have booked a ride from my home to airport which had charged me 190. Later on after 1 hr when again I booked an uber for returning home they charged me 400. How is it possible?? How can the fare for the same distance will vary this much??

                    Stupid Uber facility.

                    it could be 'off hrs' / surge pricing etc.. looks absurd, but possible
                    UBER PooL was disabled from my mobile application after sending a complain mail to UBER. (Issue was, Driver was not aware about the pick up/drop policy).
                    I installed the application again but dint find the option.

                    It has the worst customer service.
                    Uber Cab’s Customer Care Contact Number[protected] is not available.

                    Kindly update the correct & valid customer care contact details. As i am trying to reach your customer care since yesterday.

                    even my uber account is locked.. trying my best to make customer care ppl understand (i) how to take a screenshot of my phone nbr on windows phone.. agreed should have googled it.. (ii) now, they say, they can't find my phone number / is not valid...

                      This is to register a complaint against Uber, On 12th June 2016, I boarded a Cab(DL1Y 6067) from Gurgaon Sec 49, I had booked it till Sector 120, Noida. Driver Ramjit(Contact number [protected]) behaviour was very much inappropriate, I soon as borded the cab, he said, he will not go to Noida as it falls in UP and he doesn't have UP state tax slip, If he will go, he will go to Sector 32 first from there he will take Tax slip which will take 15-20 mins, also Sector 32 is far away from my home, This information itself is wrong as UP state tax can be submitted before entering UP at Delhi border, When we reached Trilokpuri, Delhi he dropped me there only from there I had to go Noida in another arrangement. What is point in hiring a Cab if I hve to hire another in midway. It was really inappropriate particularly at 10 PM night time. I demand action against Driver as well as compensation.                         i have been a regular customer o[censored]ber(India)..i had 3 free rides..today after my ride they deducted balance from my paytm account inspite of my having 3 free rides..now they are not showing any free rides any more..when i complained to them regarding this they replied that apparently there has been some violation of their code (which is a big fat lie) and that apparently i have multiple accounts or somthing (again which is a big fat lie) and that they have disabled my account indefinitly..now this is very embarrasing and inconvenient for a customer..and this is not the first time they have done this..the same thing happened with m y friend as well..they shouldnot be allowed to cheat customers like this..please look into this matter so that nobody else should face this harrasement.. i request a refund..

                          Me and my roommates had UBER account and we shared their promotional codes to get Free rides upto Rs 600 Offer. We all added 200 Rs to UBER and took the free ride. It was showing "1 free ride" in my application. But now when we try to book the cab again it is showing the message "You have 363.00 amount pending from your last ride, you cannot book another ride untill you pay it." They have not given the free ride as they advertise, but deducted the amount even after saying so. The three accounts getting this problem are: 1. Email: [protected]@gmail.com Contact: [protected] 2.                             Hi, I am Vishal Taneja([protected]@gmail.com). I have uber account, they have blocked my account without any proper reason. I have raised an issue with ID[protected]. They have told it is automatically blocked due to security reason, but i already provided them the ID and phone number proof. Still they are saying they are not able to re-enable the account. They told me that you have not followed the terms and condition. There is around 5-6 pages of terms and condition, i have asked them which term and condition i have not followed. According to me i have followed all the terms and conditions. Even they don't have any customer service. Every time you mail, like if you reply to the exiting mail, new person will come and send a automated mail.

                              on 24th may 2015 i took a ride in uber cabs and since it is my first ride and a 400 rupees promotional benefit was added to my account. My ride costed me 283 ans because of promotional offer the app showed me to pay zero (rs 0). Initially i said because of promo code it was shown zero so no need to pay but he somehow manipulated to pay the amount and later i found that i was looted. when this issue was taken to uber customer service they had responded upto some extent and when i asked for refund they were not responding

                                I was first time using uber cab and was just exploring how to use it... and app did not ask confirmation of booking and booked a cab for me... I said driver that it was done mistakenly... and I cancelled my ride ... even though 100 rs. Charged from my account.. This is wrong ... before booking they shud confirm it.. Plz resolve this issue... as their is no customer care no. Also. We can not contact uber directly... my contact no. [protected]

                                  Previously I Have installed the UBER APP but not being able Sync it with the PAYTM wallet. So I Added RS 200 to the UBER paytm wallet which is showing in the payment TAB. At that time I was having 2 free Ride one of worth Rs 600 and another Rs 300. Then I have taken a ride but my free ride was not got deducted but instead they have charged me from my PAYTM account. Then I have Sync the UBER app with My PAYTM wallet and all of a sudden RS 200 which I have previously added has got vanished. And also they have removed my those 2 Free rides. After lodging a complaint to UBER support, they told me that my account is having outstanding amount and told me after I cleared those it will credit that amount to me and free rides will be shown. So I paid. But now they denying to return my those 2 Free rides as well as Rs 200. This fraud needs to stop.

                                    Uber used to provide free rides for referal logins.but they didn't provide me the referral free ride and simply rejected my concern saying that i have violated their terms and conditions.this is completely unaccepatable from my end.At least they should detail me some specific reasons like what rule i have violated.so, i want these kind of fraud companies to be stopped doing all these activities.and also help me out in gettting back wahaever was promised. below is the email id which was used for sigin: [protected]@gmail.com

                                      Uber has given offer saying you will get free rides if you refer friends. I got 2 free rides in my inbox like that, when I took ride it has deducted from paytm not through free ride. When I raised complaint in system, they just denied my free ride saying the system has done so. They do not have a proper customer care service team to handle such issues, None of my questions answered. Moreover when I raised multiple requests to address my question they simply deactivated my account.

                                        Uber has created a Fake account using my email ID without my permission. I had sent multiple emails requesting Uber to delete the account associated with my email ID but Uber has refused to delete the account associated with my email ID. I unnecessarily keep getting emails from Uber showing trips taken by unknown people. This is harassment over internet.
