I used uber parcel delivery service to pick up my package- Marinetty Laxman Kumar - picked up my parcel from my friend and when he was about to deliver he called me and insisted I pay him in cash and I told him that was not an option, he then said that Uber won’t pay him till 6 days and that he won’t deliver the parcel. He held my package as hostage in this whole situation. We got into an argument and I told him I will report him for fraud and to the police and he kept my things and left.
We then called him 100’s of times and no answer.
I messaged Uber number of times and only got automated responses saying they have recorded the incident - “recorded the incident?!” Ridiculous! There was no swift action from Uber - his app wasn’t blocked - nor was this man asked to finish and deliver my package - he was enabled intact Uber handled this so so poorly - he continued working and delivering. Is Uber not conferenced that this person can do this with another customer ?? Probably not - because Uber wasn’t bothered. The worst part I get charged for the service!! It took them 10 emails even to get my money refunded

We have now filed a police complaint and will be going ahead with prosecuting this man for theft and also on Uber India for fraud. Uber has become a reliable name and no one was bothered about even getting my goods delivered to me. Uber did not support nor act in a manner or position of care. DO NOT USE UBER PARCEL. I repeat DO not trust this company and use Uber parcel because this company has no enforced consequences for theft against they’re employees.

    Hi,

    It was a very bad experience with uber. I had booked a ride from sector 17, Chandigarh and driver accepted the request and in between the journey, he stated that my phone is switched off, I could not start the ride therefore please pay the amount in cash. As a result, the trip didn't get tracked and the app automatically allocated another new driver who refused to cancel the trip after being told that my trip is already completed. We had paid the previous driver through Amazon pay and didn't get any receipt. We couldn't argue with the driver as it was night time and risky for us to indulge into any conversations with him.

    It was very unsafe and untracked ride by Uber and I request you to take action against the driver and refund my money.

    Please find attached the snapshot of the driver allocated and amount paid to him at the end of the trip.

      I took a ride on Dec 5th - (TS30TA1186). Trip charges showed 190.00 and communicated the same to the driver while boarding it. further, I have communicated that uber credit for 50.00 will be applied and I would have to paid only 140.00 for the trip. He was surprize to know that and said digital payments delay the process and unsure how uber credit will be applied here. Upon reaching the destination, he stated trip is 190.00 only and uber credit didn't got applied. I was shocked to here that and didn't wanted to urge further as he said you have check with the Company as he can't do further. So, I paid the trip amount. Later, when I'm raising the concern on the app, I don't see any response or any query getting raised for it even after multiple ways trying to rasie the concern. Please check and do the needful.

        Yesterday late night I boarded the Uber cab at Terminal 2 Delhi airport. The driver on the pretext of vehicle issues dropped me 2 kms away and started a fight asking me to pay 875 INR in cash. Me resisting he started abusing. I dont understand how he changed my destination. You may check I booked for my home at pitampura and he changed the location to gurugram. Luckily I got the police nearby and was able to escape. Not before causing a lot of mental trauma and getting afraid o[censored]sing Uber next time.

          On 5th Dec, 2021, I booked your cab and waited for nearly an hour. Your first cab driver kept me waiting and did not answer any of my 10-12 calls and messages and ultimately after 25 minutes, he cancelled the trip. The second cab driver after keeping me waiting also cancelled the trip and replied in a very rude way. Then you connected me to the third cab driver who as usual asked me where I had to go. I was so fed up that I deleted your app from my mobile. All the screenshots are with me. You’ve to compensate me for the extreme mental torment and for the loss of time it caused me.

            Transaction is not shown anywhere in Uber but it is charged on Paytm

              I booked a ride of ₹ 275 from Karol bagh to The Maidens Crown banquet of peeragarhi. When we reached the destination driver showed me his phone where fee was 623 that is more than double of the price.

              This is totally fraud by the company. Company is harrassing the customer and driver too. There is no customer care number on the app so we can talk and resolve this problem.

              I'll never recommend this to anyone, it's totally fraud.

                This is the worst thing to happen when you’re in a rush. The Uber drivers cancel your trip if they don’t want to drop you at your location. It has happened multiple times with me now and I happen to miss my flight too due to the same reason. It’s not ethical to leave women stranded midnight waiting for a cab to come but driver cancels 10 times. Please check who you get on board. Also I had to pay extra since he wouldn’t drop me to my location and I had no choice.

                  I used ur cab yesterday for around 6 hours 30 mins and I booked for 5 hours
                  Fare was shown 989
                  Bt it came 2480 that's too much and customer care is giving xyg reasons
                  Pls resolve this
                  Always expecting from customer to coperate bt see how much triple u r charging.there is no contact number to call and reslove the probe

                    I have booked cab for picking up my parents and Many drivers Cancelled the Ride as it is Online payment.
                    At last the last driver too asked for money for that trip and its already too late for my parents to stay there i have said i will pay in cash and after reaching the destination i have picked my parents and paid cash.
                    But uber is not allowing to remove the due for the trip and asking me to pay again before booking another trip.
                    Have tried to reach customer support multiple times still they ask me to pay the amount again. Which is unacceptable.
                    They dont have control over the drivers cancelling the ride for online payment but inturn they are asking me to pay twice for one trip.

                      I am a frequent traveller and uses Uber for most of my trip from home to my office, the distance is about 5.5 km. I usually pay around Rs. 150-250 for this small trips, could not understand their calculation, therefore want to file a complaint against them for cheating their travellers by showing minimum fare and charging maximum without any specific reason. And they don't have customer care service to solve our queries and handle complaints.

                        Ok so i travel mostly from kandivali ganesh chowk to hcg cancer centre borivali ic colony, so the normal rickshaw maximum fare is 86₹ and uber shows that maximum is 102 and we give u off and now ur total is[protected] most of the time i pay 80 so what’s the use to book uber auto there is only 4-10₹ difference, and also while booking it takes nearly about 3-5 mins to book auto and then waiting time. See i have given live they show 109₹ and final 84 but maximum rickshaw takes 86 for the distance i travel. please look into these and if possible the give me cash back because i have paid too much extra

                          On 30th November 2021 I booked a cab from Uber app from Delhi airport at terminal 3 to Rohini sector 16 at that time the app showed me fare of ₹940 so I booked the cab and when I reached my location the app showed me fare of ₹3000 which was not at all relevant and the driver just asked for that money and said that he can do nothing and told to file a complaint on the app and also said that if the fair is not reasonable then we will get our extra money back in the app wallet and I filed a complaint and now it’s about 24hr I have filed complaint and I have not received any of the messages from the company yet and when I again called the driver he said that he can do nothing.
                          I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed after watching this that such a big company has no customer care number or anything where I can call and ask for help I’m sick and tired of this problem kindly acknowledge this as soon as possible

                            Uber booking in India is such a nightmare. I don’t believe the Uber drivers deserve the ratings that they get. Every driver wishes to know where we are expected to drop and then they decide whether they wish to come or not. Secondly, we are charged for cancellation and we have to contest it. Today I went through some 5 or 6 cancellation. I had to wait for almost an hour before I got the cab to pick me up. The drivers need to be disciplined and penalised if they don’t respect the confirmation and guests should not be going through the pain. My humble request to Uber leadership to appropriate action.

                              I am a freequent user o[censored]BER transport .Last three months several trip cancelled by your allotted driver . Even today { 29/11/21 ) advanced booked thrice trip cancelled by your drivers. Today's programme was exam attend, accordingly I have booked yesterday night for today's trip at 9-00 am morning. Due to thrice trips cancelled by your driver at 9-25 am, I was bound to take Police vehicle to reach Exam hall within 10-00 am.
                              In this matter due to continuous trip cancelled of last three months, I have needed total trip history with cancelled trips to me from your end through mail ( nilay.[protected]@yahoo.co.in ) .

                                I have been charged for Uber ride twice during my journey on 28th Nov, 11.31 am booking time from Mumbai Intl. Airport to Pune (Chinchwad).

                                I Paid cash of rs 2479.80 to driver and also the same amount of money got deducted via Paytm app.

                                Please refund the amount of rs. 2479.80 which is charged extra.

                                  At afternoon i took a ride from my home to one of my relative's home at same destination using Uber Rental car service at ₹136 which was also booked for 1hrs and 10KMs. But, at the time of my return journey to home i again booked Uber Rental service and during booking of my ride, fare shown was INR 186.71 for 1Hrs and 10KMs ride but driver took a longer route deliberately and Final Fare charged by me was ₹281.34 to which company gave me excuses stating that i travelled extra time and additional KMs to which i explained that its Driver who took longer route and it was not my mistake. Company has Even charged me Surge charge by 1.5 times. Kindly help me to get proper justice. Thank you

                                    This is to bring to your notice that, while customers are unfairly charged for cancellation there is no provision in your app to charge those drivers who accept to give a ride and cancel in the last minute when the customer is in dire need of a ride . Why the bias? Your drivers need to be charged too for unfairly cancelling in the last minute and wasting our time. I am highly disappointed with Uber drivers. They are unreliable. They call after accepting a customers request and then decide whether or not they want to give the ride. Jungle laws! Please rectify this before you lose customers to such shenanigans

                                      The incident took place on 28 november 2021. we (my mom, my brother, me) booked a cab from IGI T3 to take us to our house. behaviour of the driver was so rude throughout. the fare when we booked the cab was 704INR to which it rose up to 922INR till we reached our destination. In between the fare changed from 704INR to 822INR to which we asked the driver what is this going on? He did not respond politely, and obviously there was a verbal argument involved. He immediately stopped the car before we reached our destination. We agreed to pay him 822INR on the condition that he will drive us to home. He refused to do so. We then, changed the destination, and payed him a total of 922INR when we reached our house. The behaviour of the driver from the start of this drive was rude. He did not give us any contact to reach out to UBER. This attitude of the driver is really not acceptable and I hope he does not repeat this attitude with any other passenger travelling and relying on UBER for a fun ride.

                                        I booked a rental ride on 27.11.2021 for 8 hours. My driver message me that he is coming in 7 minutes. But in a minute I get a text that amount deducted from my wallet and my trip is completed.
                                        I was shocked and immediately I filed complain on help options that I didn't take this ride.
                                        I get a receipt that shows that within 4 min I travel from my location to some other location, which I didn't pick for drop and my bill is 1404. For which my PAYTM wallet is kept on hold. Literally I thought that what the ### is this. And now I am getting mail from uber that my fair is right and I took the ride also. Or I shared any detail with driver. I am mailing uber support constantly by explaining them that first the cab didn't come at my place, second how will I travel that much distance in 4 min. Can some one please help me with this.
