What happened -

- I book an Uber from IGI Airport T3 to get dropped in Dwarka...
- The driver calls me to check where I need to be dropped.
- I tell him I need to go to Dwarka
- He tells me he has reached the pick-up point and drops the call.
- I see the pop-up that the trip has finished and have been charged a sum of INR 380.60 without even being picked-up!!!
- There was no way of contacting the driver!
- And I could not book another cab using the UBER app as it asks me to pay the amount before booking another ride!! Pay for WHAT exactly?!!
- I had to resort to a Pre-Paid Taxi service from the airport eventually!

      Paid twice online payment for a trip.

      I Binay Kumar Sarma, 4A, Barnali Path, Sijubari, Hatigaon, Guwahati, Assam 781038, India, today(12/10/2021) booked a trip to 4MGV+59J, Devkota Nagar, Guwahati, Assam 781011, India. I select UPI online payment option for the said trip charge Rs 264.10. But my online trip charge cut twice from bank account. The detail of bank payments are -

      I have made the payment dues of ₹18 on 27/09/21 and also 9on 07/10/21but the due keeps on popping up each time i time I try to make fresh booking..i had previously tried to contact uber through emails and helpline but got no response.if the issues or not resolved immediately they we may have to go legally.

          I took ride on 25/6/21, I was in rush so I paid to the driver in cash for a non-cash ride and the payment wasn't updated by driver after I paid him the ride amount of 243 rupees.

          Since I was not aware of the policy that payment issues cannot be updated after 90 days, I cannot book the ride because the application still shows outstanding amount of 243. I will be forced to stop using uber serivces incase this issue is not resolved from Uber India. I am not going to pay twice for the same ride. Please resolve the issue.
          And that exact happen with me I have already paid full amount to driver in cash and driver didn’t update on his part and now they are showing last ride amount is pending please pay
          Disgusting service by Uber & cheater drivers
          By doing this with every customer they are loosing there company name
          And
          Now everyday they are trying to deduct that amount by themselves with my paytm wallet account

              Hello, Uber charged Rs 478 To my paytm wallet WITHOUT TRAVEL. I received an message at 1:41 AM on 4 oct 2021 that 478 have been charged to my Uber account. When I went back and checked my paytm similar amount had been previously tried to be deducted but I hadn’t charged my paytm. As soon as I charged, the next day I got this FRADULENT charge from UBER INDIA.
              Please help. I am sure this must be done to other users as well!!
              On top of that there is NO customer care number you can call to address at either UBER OR PAYTM - leaving the customer in a helpless situation!
              And that exact happen with me I have already paid full amount to driver in cash and driver didn’t update on his part and now they are showing last ride amount is pending please pay

                Hi Uber Team,

                Good Morning,

                On 29/06/2021 take uber auto from BKC Mumbai to Dombivali Sunil Nagar.

                Before completing the trip, paid online through my SBI card Rs. 582 still it wasn't showing received to driver account. We wait for sometime but it wasn't updated in driver account. So the driver tells me that it was reversed to your account.
                So afterwards I paid him cash of Rs. 582

                The amount is charged me by sbi card and paid cash also didn't receive any proper solution from Uber till date. continuesly following up for more than one month still my issue not resolved and another issue of 30/06/ 2021 Rs. 83 showing as pending in my account which I already paid in cash.

                In both the cases can you please check with driver and get back to me.

                  I am very dissapointed with uber cab services seriously. Why uber driver cancel the trip without anyone permission, Yesterday i was rushing to go for my urgent work but these ola drivers cancelled my trip twice or thrice specially i was standing on the road like a fool person with my family in this heat. This is totally unprofessional manner to do that. I do not think i will use ola anymore. This is ridiculous and i am very very disappointed with this uber drivers.                     The driver was RUDE AND ARROGANT. He refused to wear a mask and asked whether we wear masks at home!!! He said that it was too hot and had taken both vaccinations so he would not wear the mask. Considering Ubers demands to confirm declarations before booking a car this vioaltion of safety protocols should never be tolerated

                        I was charged Rs. 285 for not even taking a ride. I was at the T3 Delhi airport when I booked an uber. The driver had started the ride before reaching my pick up point. When I check the uber application on my phone, the driver was headed towards the opposite direction while I was still waiting at the airport to be picked up. When I stopped the ride on my phone app, I was charged Rs 285 for not even taking a ride. Their customer care is not addressing the problem as well, hence reaching out here.

                          Hi,

                          It is with great shame and embarassment that I have to register a complain against an uneducated uber driver (Details mentioned below) who abused me while trying to explain the address.

                          So disappointed with Uber's safety measures that even after sitting at the police station the customer care refused to share any details about the driver.
                          This incident happened at 10:31 today on 28th Sept 2021 while booking a cab for my dad who was supposed to return home (Grant Road) from Chembur West. While requesting to hold on to confirm the address he started abusing with bad words stating we do not know the address.
                          He abused not once but thrice over the call.

                          Cab Number : MH01CV1566 (Blue Maruti Suzuki Wagon R)

                          I am embarrassed and disgusted by this experience I faced today.

                          I am hereby attaching the official NC from Nagpada Police Station filed against Uber's cab driver.

                          The police authorities asked us to send this to you hoping that you would respond and take necessary action against him otherwise they would directly get in touch with Uber.

                          I am struggling enough back and forth and complained a lot of times to Uber support there is no strict course of action taken against the driver.

                          Unless there is no solution to this I will certainly ask the police authorities to investigate further against Uber and also file.

                          Hence, I decided to get my complaint to your notice in return of some fair decision and justice being served here

                              Given that Uber rides are pretty steep compared to a regular taxi service and given that the passenger is willing to pay it, no matter the surcharge and the hike in price every few minutes (which, at some point in time, starts to feel like the passenger is bidding at an auction house rather than booking a cab), i simply fail to understand the reaosn why the cabbie allotted feels he has the right to call and ask the passenger his/her destination before deciding to accept a ride or not.

                              I have been travelling to work and back three days a week for the last one month or so. I understand the distance is great and hence the morning bookings are at 6.15 am. But the driver refusing the ride should also understand that the client requesting a ride that early in the morning, for that great a distance, and, at times, at double the price, isn't booking an uber for a picninc or a long drive.

                              I face the same problem while returning from work. There are days i have waited outside my workplace alone for over an hour while cab drivers refuse, cancel and pass me on to the next driver.

                              There have been times when the car has come to my stop, asked for my destination, cancelled and driven past me. There are times when they inquire for the destination, then ask me to cancel the trip or they stay put wherever they are knowing i being desperate to reach home, will cancel, pay for my cancellation and rebook the ride at a higher price. On rare occasions i have even been asked to get off at a place way before my drop-off point because the driver is bored, tired or has suddenly remembered he has an emergency he needs to take care of. In such cases, i have never recieved a refund for the distance i did not travel.

                              I have had great experiences with Uber in the past where drivers have been extremely humane, accomodating and courteous, where they came as life saviours. There have been times when i got the impression that the drivers cared less than a dime for the people they were stranding on the street.

                              Excuses such as a hike in oil prices, Uber doesn't pay us on time, i won't get passengers on my way back, IT'S MY LUNCH HOUR - these are expected of local cab services and not from a cab service that promises elite, harassment-free and safe travel.

                              Dear Uber, we need you. Having said that, there is also a limit to how much a person can bear in terms of being made to feel humiliated and helpless. I suggest you reconsider one of two things - either rethink the type of employees you hire or rethink the principles and the moto you stand by.

                              That way we, the common passengers you treat as esteemed and exclusive will find it easier to put up with ineptitude, carelessness, unnecessary outbursts and loss of face since we will start expecting less from the exclusive service we trust so much.

                              Please understand pushing us away will hurt your services as much as it will hurt us common passengers.

                                I have booked a uber from number-[protected]. Allotted car detail is
                                KA01AF2746. The driver arrived and cancelled the trip. He asked us to sit and pay the same amount as the fare. Getting late we agreed with it. After 10 minutes of reaching the destination we realised we left a phone inside. It was ringing for first 15 to 20 minutes. Later it has been switched off. Driver name is Mr ashoka H M. Car is maruti swift desire white colour.

                                  I booked a rental on 27/9/2021 from Action Area 1C, New Town, Kolkata at 7:21 pm. I had booked a rental for 2.5 hours. However, after the first drop the driver by mistake ended the trip at Jadavpur. The app showed that I had to pay the full amoint even the the trip ended only 1 hour post to its starting covering only about 10 kms. I raised a complaint on uber app which went unheard. I complained again on "My Trips" in the uber app to no avail. Fjnally I had to pay the entire amount before I could book another ride on the app. This was highly disappointing and dissatisfying experience from uber as it had caused a lot of inconvenience and charged a higher fare at the same time. It feels like the uber app can behave the way it wants according to its own liking. Highly disappointed. I expexct to refunded as I should ve treated fairly.

                                      I booked Uber on 27th Sep 2021 at 5 pm from Sector 44A, Chandigarh to Sector 20 A, Chandigarh.
                                      It took as intercity and charged Rs 1200 (Invoice attached) for just 4kms.
                                      I am trying to register a complaint through the app, but I have got no response.

                                      Please escalate my complaint as it has caused much harassment to the elderly person who was travelling.
