On Sunday 12th September 2021, I had to make a trip from Manpada Thane to Khatwari Darbar Bandra at around 10.30 AM

Hence at around 09.00 AM, I opened the OLA App and checked to pre book my ride. It showed me a fare of Rs. 569/-

I cross checked it on UBER then itself. It showed me a range of 500 Rs to 625 rs.. I immediately booked my ride for 10.30 AM on UBER at 09.00 AM.

When I completed the ride with UBER at around 11.30 AM, the driver asked me to pay Rs 1062/- . Even my UBER app was showing the same.

I protested saying that it was twice the fare for which I had pre booked.

The driver said that he will have to call the police to settle the matter.

I said OK.

He then made me sit for almost 10 minutes, and rang up some helpline number from his phone which instructed him to collect the fare of Rs. 530/- which I was ready to pay.

This is very bad.

In almost every other situation I would have been forced to pay the inflated amount.

It is simply because I had reached my destination well before time due to empty roads on a lazy Sunday morning, that I could afford to protest, be with the driver in the cab itself for 10 minutes.

Booking at some rate and charging double on completion of journey is not at all ethical.

    So many drivers harassing for location dets then just not picking up or cancelling..this is causing so many delays.. yesterday 4 drivers did this to me and one of them would not cancel and kept my trip open for 28 minutes.. the option of being able to contact customer should be removed and these drivers penalised .uber customer services failing to take up the issues

      I have issues with the uber ride:

      1. On 10.09.21 i booked an uber cab at 16:03 PM. Driver name was Rajesh (car Maruti Suzuki Dzire). When i booked the car it was showing different fare (Rs. 316). Though it was high i accepted it and got the ride.
      After reaching the destination, when i was about to pay the fare, i was shock and surprise to see that the fare has gone to much higher rate (Rs. 361).

      2. On that very day 10.09.21 i again booked an uber cab for return at 17:45 PM. Driver name as Sunil (car Hyundai Xcent). Again same incident happened. Booked the car at Rs. 209 and when it reached the destination it turned to Rs. 275.

      Now, please let me know how this is happening in a consistent manner. i fell cheated and disgusted by this incident. i dont know whether you will take action or not but certainly it will hamper the image, atleast to me it has.

        We booked a UBER AUTO on Sept.08, 2021 at 1.21PM for a ride from LTT to Thakur Complex through Mobile No. [protected] and the fair was Rs.367.84.
        The booking was confirmed and received by Mohammad Kashif of vehicle No. MH47AW0430 at 1.21PM. However, he asked for Fifty Rupees extra. We were ready to pay the amount provided he gave a receipt for the same. He declined to give any receipt against the payment.
        We did book the ride again expecting that it would be forwarded to some other driver but it went to the same driver Mphammd Kashif and he again asked for Fifty rupees extra.
        Is it okay on the part o[censored]BER India or UBER India takes action against such drivers?

          I have booked UBER CAB (No 10BH 4264) opposite to Alandur Metro Railway station .
          Once after I got in, he asked me the Payment mode and and he said would accept only cash. For this, he said would do some changes on his side and I was in hurry and urgent to reach the place I said ok. But later I got a call from another driver (TN07CL7349) called as he was waiting at pickup point. After this I realized this Driver got cheated me and that time about to cross half of the distance. In this, I had to pay cancellation charges of 2nd cab. I expecting UBER should take necessary action against the first driver (No 10BH 4264) and refund my cancellation charges for 2nd CAB.

            I had just started using Uber with the number [protected]. I hadn't set any payment method. This Uber app auto-synced the method of payment with my amazon account.
            Since I was unaware of this, I was paying the driver in cash and the fare was getting deducted from my amazon pay too. This happened for initial 3 rides (details given below):
            1. 22 Aug at 1.57 pm - Rs. 429.27
            2. 25 Aug at 11.05 pm - Rs. 76.70
            3. 27 Aug at 12.32 pm - Rs. 173.97
            And then one day while I was checking my amazon account, I noticed these deductions made to Uber. Immediately I asked for Uber support to refund Rs. 683 which has been paid twice till now. Also, I shared the snapshots of these fare deductions from my amazon pay. They were not ready to refund the amount and none of the drivers (for those 3 rides) informed me that the payment is already done online.
            When I am asking for refund, they are just saying that the payment in cash is done for a non-cash trip so we won't be refunding the amount. This is how they are cheating their customers of their hard-earned money. Kindly help with the issue.

              Do you fell indian customers are dull and dumb your drivers continuously cancelled my 7 trips and demanding extra money to pick and even than while cancelling trips you said you will be partially charged for the the bluddy cancellation.

                This is to inform that Myself Arun VELLUPULA, I engaged a uber cab on 28/02/2021 from SNS HOMES X to Brindavan colony Shamshabad Hyderabad in tata zest.
                The total fare was 512, I paid the total fare in cash only. But in the uber app it is still showing still your are pending with 212 and the not allowing me to book another ride as i am having pending dues. Though i reported this issue in uber app help and support module they didn't resolve the issue.
                1)Why is it showing like this?
                2) How did the cab left us without taking total amount?
                3) Do the cab driver engaged in arguments with us for not paying the total fare.

                The copy of receipt is attached and the the reply i got from uber help support system.

                Iam request to connect with that same uber driver so that i will clarify this issue.

                  I want to give a complaint against all the uber drivers in my place Guwahati Assam. This issue has been going on from last 3-4 months. The issue is that whenever i try to book a cab at uber app, the driver of the cab that has been successfully booked cancels my request and gives it to another one. This is not for one time. The drivers keeps on cancelling the trips and changes it to another one till one makes his mind to complete the trip. At first after the cab is booked, the uber drivers rings a call and asks about the destination and if they don't want to go to the destination because of their mood or whatever reasons they gives it to other person or cab. This is not for one day, i face this problem everytime i book a cab. The trips gets changed couple of time after asking the destination till i find one sensible driver who wills to go to the destination after knowing it. I would have understood if the destinations were at far distance but they are not, the divers cancels it even if the destination is at very much shorter distance. Whenever i get a call from my uber driver just after the booking and if he asks about the destination, i immediately know that he is going to cancel or change my request. And this is not only in my case, i have heard the same issue faced by other people from Guwahati. Please look over this issue otherwise i am disappointed with uber as it has become no use to me nowadays. And please appoint some sensible and sincere persons for driving.

After reached the destination place I paid the amount in cash but the driver mentioned the payment not received. Therefore the amount is showing outstanding whenever I m going to book a Uber.

                        On 31 Aug and 02 Sep I had scheduled a trip in the morning. In both cases neither did the cab come noor was there any information from Uber regarding the non availability. Pse look into this and if you are unable to honour the schedules there should be info to the customer

                              I booked the cab from RML hospital and driver called me to ask my destination as i told him the destination he refused to go to the destination and asked me to cancel the ride, i did not do as uber deducts the partial amount for cancellation, and i asked driver if you do not want to go to the destination you can cancel it he dropped the call and started abusing, BC sali pagal and tujhe mai dekh lunga then i got panic and cancelled it from my end i again booked it and the same driver accepted the request and he started abusing on the text i cancelled it again and was really scared if i would have ride that cab what he had done.

                                I have got a reward from Amazon to book uber and get a cash back of 30% hoto ₹75. For that I have done registration also and ₹1 got deducted and credited to uber account.
                                But now when I m booking this offer, uber app opens up and a message comes that this operation is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later. What is this non sense !!!

                                  My Name is Aaina Hashmi.. i lodging complaint against Uber India Because their driver often cancel my booking/ride after knowing the location doesn’t matter wherever i am going ..i would like either uber should make policy that driver should ask the destination as its all mentioned in app or Government or india Should take some strict action ..if some has to go in emergency somewhere and driver cancels your booking who will be responsible for that..or girl standing on the road late night and driver cancels and something happens wrong to her who will take the responsibility..i guess uber should take some strict action if driver cancels the ride they will deduct the money from their account same as they do with passengers .

                                      Today I have taken two rides.1st one was from Max hospital Vaishali to 7th avenue, Gaur city, Noida Extension. At the booking time ride price shown to me was Rs 171/- which. I agreed & took the ride. One the way driver took wrong turn & it travelled more distance & on arrival I was charged Rd 276/-. If driver makes a mistake how can be a passenger punished for paying higher charged? Same incident took on my second ride from 7 the avenue, Gaur City to Max hospital Vaishali, in which earlier shown price which was Rs 226/- was raised suddenly to Rs 300/-. I earnestly request to refund my above excess payments.

                                        ગાડી ના ડોક્યુમેન્ટ પુરતા નથી અને અમારી જોડે અસભ્યતા રીતે વાત કરી પેમેન્ટ લીધેલ છે ગાડીમાં આગળ પાછળ ની નંબર પ્લેટ માંથી એક જ નંબર પ્લેટ લાગેલી હતી અમે પુછપરસ કરતા એવું કેવામાં આવ્યું કે તમારે નંબર પ્લેટને શુ લેવા દેવા તમારે જવાનું હોય તો લઈ જવું ના બેસવું હોય તો કેન્સલ કરાવી દો નંબર પ્લેટ હોય કે ના હોય તમારે શુ લેવા દેવા તમારે તો જવાથી મતલબ રાખવાનો મારી જોડે ટાઇમ નથી મારે ઓલાની ટ્રીપ આવીછેના જવું હોય તો કેનશાલ કરી દો એટલે હું ફ્રોે પડું અમે કીધુ કે અમને શું ખબર કે અમારે જે ગાડી બુક કરાવેલ છે તે ગાડી છે તો એમને ગાડીનો ઈનશ્યૂરશ ની કોંપી બતાવી તેમા ગાડી નંબર . જીજે ૨૭ એક્ષ ૨૫૦૧ ની કોપી હતી એ પણ ઈન્શુરનશ ની તારીખ પતી ગયેલી હતીને અમને અપશબ્દો બોલીને ગાડી લઈને નીકળી ગયેલ હતા અને અમને ધમકી આપેલી કે કપ્લેન કરતા નહી નઈતરતોમજા નઈ આવે એટલા માટે હુ મારું ઓળખ આપવા માગતો નથી તમે મે જે ગાડીની કંપ્લેઇન કરેલ છે તે ગાડી તમારી રીતે જે કાયદે શર કાર્ય વાઈ પ્રમાણે એક્ષન લેવા વીનંતી કરું છું અને મારી ઓળક જાહેર ના કરવા વીનંતી કરું છું આ વાતને લગભગ ૪૦ કે ૪૫ દીવસ પહેલાની છે હુ આશા રાખુ છું કે તમે ગાડી નંબર જીજે ૨૭ એક્ષ ૨૫૦૧ તમારો ઓફીસે બોલાવીને ચેક કરી બીજા કે મારા જેવા ગ્રાહકને સંતોશ પુરક સવારી થાય એવી આશા રાખુ છું આપનો શુભ ચીંતક આપનોરેગ્યુલર કટમર
