I, Vikas Sharma, this morning i.e., 01.08.2021 at around 12:05 AM booked cab from my house New Maruthi Nagar to Kacheguda Railway Station. The booking was confirmed and after 5-10 minutes driver of the cab called me and asked about the drop point and after knowing the drop point refused and cancelled the ride. The same thing was happened three times. All the cab drivers not willing to go to Kacheguda Railway station which is around 12 kms.

As there was urgency I booked Ola Cab at 12:30 AM and send my parents to destination. At around 01:00 AM one cab o[censored]ber came to my house and then I have to cancel the trip. Infact after three attempt I not booked the Uber cab and switched to Ola Cab for booking. Uber was automatically booked the cab for which I was charged Rs.78.18.

If I was charged for cancelling the trip that to for not of my fault then why the Uber cannot be charged for canceling my trip on part of driver who refused to come down and insisting me to cancel the ride.

In Ola App if ride was cancelled by driver it will be reflected in "MY RIDE" but in UBER the same was not displayed in "YOUR TRIPS". This shows that Uber is not having fair policy and playing Unfair Practice, for which why UBER cannot be held liable.

Hence I request the authority to take action against the UBER and further direct the Uber to set aside the payment which is shown as due from me of Rs.78.18.

    Today is 28/07/21. I am going to vaccinate my father. This driver is called to come to the specified location .He denied and hung up the phone.This driver S.K behaved wickedly today and totally unprofessional attitude

      On Sunday(25th Jul) I booked for a cash trip in Chennai for Rs. 361.05 and at the end of the trip, the driver was showing lesser amount (Rs. 200+) than what I booked for. At the same time, in my phone it was showing that payment failed. I got confused and did not know what to do and was in hurry for my appntmnt and hence, paid cash (as shown in my phone Rs. 361.05) to the Driver to resolve the issue from his side. Later, I raised this a few times with helpdesk to resolve ‘pending charge’ notification in my uber account, but did not get anything useful. When I spoke to Driver, he could not help anything.

      On 28th Jul morning, I paid the same amount Rs. 361.05 again through paytm for the same trip in order to clear the notification and to book further rides. I have paid double the amount (Rs. 722.10) in total for the same trip, but am not getting any help to get my extra cash refunded.

      Really feeling frustrated and losing my confidence with Uber, as it is very difficult to get any support for being a loyal rider.
      I was trying to pay using Amazon pay (Order ID P[protected], but it was not showing on drivers mobile. Hence I have repaid to driver by scanning code using Amazon pay UPI as per details given below (Paid to bh******[protected]@fbpePaid using ICICI Bank ******XX50₹169.38 Bank Reference ID:[protected] Please instruct him to refund Rs 169.38, as it was paid twice.

        I booked uber auto from Tambaram to Madambakkam. The driver was such a rogue guy who was yelling at me for not getting into auto. I don't know how uber encourages such behaviours and how the guy have guts to yell at a customer in front of all on the road. I need a strict action to be taken on the driver .

            Today My father has travelled to Howrah in a UBER car Maruti Suzuki Swift Drive (Driver name Subrata). Trip charge was showing 454.93. I have made payment by amazon pay. Still after reaching Howrah driver demanded more money (arround 520) from my father. Please look into the matter.

                I would like to know u that, i booked a trip from Malad to Bhuleshwar thru the driver Name Prathamesh vehicle no MH 03 BC 8043.
                It was generally showing 7 min to my place and then this driver called me and was asking of the drop location, but I dint told him and ask him to come down to pick up me as i was in hurry then he said some bad words and cut the call and then i try calling again several times but he didn’t receive my call and i think he was just waiting from my side to cancel the trip. Not only he misbehave on the phone but also waisted my time. Kundly take a strict action against him ..Thanking you

                  After trying to book a cab after 1 hour from uber, one fine driver accepted the request ride from T3 airport to faridabad. The price shown during booking was 1817.55 rupees to be very precise. The cab did not take other route but followed what was showing in his map. He didi jot inform.about price hike(if he knew from app ofcourse), nor any message came to me that booking amount can be 2.5 to 3 % increase due to more demand. And when cab person ended the ride, the fare shown was 3800 rs. (I did not stop the car in between, nor any kind of interference from my side. No car breakdown in between ) you can judge now the fare wasnor than double. And when i asked cab person, please give the breakup to me, he started argument in loud voice (that my whole colony came out) and i was the one saying, i am taking very politely, please either you share or lwt me talk to uber customer care
                  .but he started shouting loudly, give my mo ey or i will call police. Police aa b jaegi tb b m pura paisa leke jaunga. I again said pol8, you may call but i need to get to uber care. Please wait.if its not your fault, dn also its not mine either but he was continuously saying that i was not able to search properly for a reciept on phone. I called safety care on uber as the driver dialled 100 and called police. The person raina on uber care listened to whole matter and said she will talk to driverand disconnected my phone. He was constantly saying you are wasting my time. If you are not able to contact uber, i can't wait for 1 or 2 hours. Gpay me on my personal number he said and said that he will not accept iber wallet amount as now due to my fair high complaint, he will not get any penny so i will only take cash at any cost. I again dialled uber helpline as the matter was getting hotter minute by minute. Driver was not ready to listen. Then i again called safety uber care, again i explained same issue and took on conference call with deiver and uber. They said me to pay through wallet, but driver said he want cash or gpay not uber wallet and phone got disconnected and no further call i recieved from uber in next 4 hours too (till now). This is "UBER Safetly protocol "". Wow. I don't think any regardless of male /female is safe as any time situation with anyone can get worsen and their is no one in uber to talk too.

                      My trip started at 8:04 PM on 18/07/21 from Shop no. G1 & G2 West End Mall, janakpuri west to Raj Nagar-II Palam. My fare was Rs. 142.13 and I have paid the entire amount to the driver (Makhan, Bajaj Auto) in cash. But, still an amount of Rs. 142.13 is shown as outstanding in UBER apps and I have not been able to hire any UBER taxi.

                        I travelled from Panchkula, Haryana to Elante mall, Chandigarh on 18th July, 2021, which is hardly 6km. And they charged me Rs 1334. How can they charge so much for such a short distance. Their site mentions Rs 10/km for intercity trip. I am attaching the receipt.

                          Dear Madam/ Sirs,

                          This is to bring to your notice about the bad experience that I had when I booked your cab on 12th July 2021 at around 9:30 PM. Your driver accepted my booking and declined to pick me up. Up till this it was okay. But after declining the trip, instead of cancelling the trip he was insisting me to cancel it. Further, he had audacity to ask me to wait till morning, to come and pick me up, if I didn't cancel. I also wish to bring to your notice the following statement of his, which was extremely disappointing.

                          1. I have going to my home.

                          My Doubt: If he was going home, Why did he accept the trip?

                          2. Why did you book?

                          My Doubt: Henceforth, should I be taking the drivers permission to book a cab in Uber?

                          3. I accepting Uber booking, not your booking.

                          My Doubt: If we as customers do not book Uber, is this driver going to get a trip from Uber? I fail to understand, if this cab driver was in his sense of equilibrium or was it a lack of training?

                          4. Okay go and complain. Tell in social media.

                          My Doubt: Is he confident that Uber will not take an action against him or is it undermining the power of social media?

                          I would have been least bothered, if he had cancelled the trip like most other cab drivers do, after asking the drop location. My issue is with his behaviour. Hope you will take necessary action on this cab driver. I'm here with attaching the screenshots of the conversation that I had with the driver after my booking.

                            This is to inform you that I booked Uber from Railway Rd. Sadi Nagar, Azadpur, Ashok Vihar, Delhi - 110033, India to National Reference Laboratory, B7 Rd. Block E, Sector 18, Rohini, New Delhi, Delhi 110085, India on July 18, 2021.

                            While Booking the cab, fare was shown INR 141 approximately but after completion of my tour, it was charged INR 428.00 including MCD Tax, Booking fare and Toll/Parking Surcharges.

                            Even though, neither any parking charge nor MCD charge were taken but unfortunately total amount were charge to me INR 428.00

                            If these charge were relay charged by MCD and parking and Cab Driver Mr. Hidayat (as per Uber login), Vehicle No. HR61C3766, has paid to the respective authority, those receipt or proof of payment should be provided to me by the company or cab driver.

                            In view of the above, you are request to please take necessary action against the company as well as driver regarding this cheating.

                              I took an uber on 16th July from home to hospital. The mode selected was visa card. The driver requested for cash so I asked him if I can phonepe him. He said it was fine. Before reaching I paid him on personal phonepe number. In the evening when I tried booking an uber it showed finalize payment before booking. I am unable to use it. I contacted driver and he said there is nothing he could do since he was shown cash mode. Since 2 days I am trying to get help from uber app. I selected my issue and emailed 4 5 times. There is no response from customer care. The driver name is Shafiq and the vehicle number MH01CV4827. Need immediate support from uber.
                              My mother took an uber from home to work on 20th October 2022 for which the amount to be paid was Rs 150. My mother made full payment by giving the driver Rs. 500 note and received back Rs. 350. However when she tried to book an uber the next day (21st October) it showed finalize payment. We have tried to reach customer care but to no avail and all our complaints seem to have reached deaf ears. My mother is not being able to book a cab. Uber please help me resolve the issue.

                                I took a ride from Tughlakabad, New Delhi to Faridabad, Haryana on 16th July 2021, in the evening and was shown a fare of INR 265. It was a cash trip so I paid the driver the cash in full but the after the ride was over, the amount was still shown as outstanding.
                                The next day i. e on 17th July 202, I again took a ride from Faridabad to Tughlakabad, New Delhi, I was shown a fare of INR 252 but was charged INR 517(252 +265) due to which I had to pay INR 520.
                                I have registered complaint with uber but to no use, the company has ignored the request and is not refunding the money.

                                  I had made a ride on 11:31 AM on 15 july, 2021 from Dunlop to The West Bengal University Of Health Sciences by Maruti Uber bike. and paid the driver for the trip full amount in cash, Rs. 125. When I open Uber app it shows that I owe Rs. 125. I had to rush and saw this problem much later. So, I can't contact with the driver, want to report this incident but there is no option for that. That trip payment still stands outstanding. This is very annoying and disheartening if I can't even complain via app and don't know if it is going to resolve

                                    I was k book uber ride driver call me I'm coming on 10 min but after 20 min they not come in pickup point then I was call to uber dirver 10 times but he was not pick my phone he was not answering and he was not send any msg then I cancel ride he is very disoppint me I face many problem for this uber driver very very poor service and I will not book uber ride in future

                                      I tried paying to uber driver through Google pay and it failed and showed processing and since for a similar case it was refunded I used Phonepe to pay the driver and after 1-2 hours Google pay payment also got processed and now I am trying to contact uber to get the refund and I am not able to contact even the driver

                                        I am a 9 months pregnant woman and booked Uber from hospital to my home. Driver took an alternate route than the normal route and when asked for he mentioned due to traffic. After travelling through a highly hilly type road in a bad condition we came to a road which was closed. Driver rerouted and as the route went worse driver mentioned an alternate way to first enter the nearest location and reach that place. But we came to the same old location. Finally i asked him to go back to the place where he initially took the diversion and proceed through the normal route. He did so and when we reached home the final rate was Rs. 400 higher than the initial fare. He argued that we have to pay thr full amount showing in the app. I, being the rider had to face all these difficulties at this health and had a terrible road experience, wastage of time ans wastage of money. How can this be justified?
