I have completed a ride on 14 th June 2021 around 6 pm. I have booked this ride by setting payment method as google pay. But the driver asked me to pay by cash as he forgot to bring some phone or something. I have done as asked and paid the amount Rs. 204.00 by cash. He assured me that there won't be any problem the app will be updated. But now in my app it's showing i have ₹203.95 the unpaid amount. Please help as soon as possible as I...

I had booked a trip till bangaluru airport on may 15. It was showing fair as rs 1153 but Uber driver forced me to pay 1700 outside uber system. He cancelled the trip by himself.
Please look into this issue, I have phonepay receipt with me as proof of payment made to driver

    Availing uber service(specially uber moto) is not at all a pleasurable experience for riders.
    Low point o[censored]ber moto:
    1. The drivers are mostly unprofessional. It is understood that it will rain in monsoon, but these amateurish service providers enjoy to keep their passengers waiting for long till the rain stops falling. Simply ridiculous. On 11th june'21, i was kept waiting for over an hour(5pm to 6.13 pm) for drizzle by the driver before he finally decided to cancel the trip. Initially he requested me not to cancel the trip. In such case, who is being harassed?
    2. The subsequent drivers who got the same booking from the system demanded for additional money, refusing which they cancelled the same trip from their end.
    3. The 4th driver went a step further by not complying to the request and unnecessarily uttering abusive words prior cancellation of the booking from his end as well.
    4. The ride finally initiated after a one hour forty five minutes ordeal and harassment at 6.45 pm(11th june'21).
    5. Going through such harassment i intended to get in touch with uber company to register my complaint, but only ended up with a dejection to find that there is no such options available for the rider to register their grievances.
    Conclusion: poor overall service o[censored]ber moto with no standards observed by self(as a consumer) and no option for customers to communicate their experiences/feedback/grievance to uber apart from the predefined options set by the company.

        Hi,

        I have booked uber today on 10-6-21 at 16:49 from BKC on hourly rental basis for 2 hours @ 145 per hour

        It showed 288 rs for 2 hours ride upto 20 km ride

        I ended ride at 18:40 completing 18 km route at kandivali shankar lane.

        But while making payment it increased to 500

        They have added 98 rs as convince fee and 96 rs as X1.6 surge fee without my knowledge besides taking prior confirmation of charge before commencing trip.

        I feel cheated

          I booked Uber bike on Saturday to go to Saltlake and payment mode was Digital. Driver asked me to pay cash and he said that you will refund from uber. So I have ₹100 to driver to fill petrol at petrol pump (cctv footage also there) then I reached destination, after ending the trip driver asked me remaining money for that trip I refused to give and said whenever I will get refund from uber I will give rest of the amount to you.

          I have whatsapp proof that he has received ₹100 from me. He also have accepted that. Also I have call recording.

          Problem is Uber is not ready to refund my extra ₹100 which I paid to driver.

            Yesterday I booked an Uber bike. The driver came to the location and told me how much money the app is showing, I told him that 238. He said that I will not go for this, it will take 150 rs extra. I refused to pay, he asked me to cancel the ride. When I refused to cancel the ride, he started abusing me and started beating me. I request you to take strict action with this driver, otherwise I will have to get legal action done with you and your driver.

            Today I booked uber moto from my office to bus stop. After waiting for 3-5mins 1st driver(can't remember the name) messaged and asked about my destination and the fare, after informing the same and requesting to come fast as otherwise I won't be able to get the bus, he asked for the double charge so I cancelled it, the 2nd driver(Dibyendu) also did exactly same only the difference is that this time he himself cancelled it.
            But the 3rd driver was very good and he dropped me safely at the bus stop but however due to these unnecessary happening I missed the bus.
            Requesting you to please take this matter seriously as this is becoming the everyday story as the drivers are taking advantage. I have attached the screenshots for the same.

              I took a ride with Uber on 16th Apr., 2021 where the app showed me that some previous payment is pending. I agreed to make payment for it and chose option of "Pay in cash to the driver with your next trip". Hence my next trip also became a cash trip.

              My previous outstanding amount was 409. And that trip's fare came out to be 606.

              At the end of my trip, the app (both in my phone as well as Driver's phone) showed 1015 and I made that payment in cash.

              Now when I got the receipt after several minutes, it was only for 700 (It seems that the driver only recorded 700 from his side). And my previous trip (even after making the payment) is still showing as pending in the app and I am unable to make any booking till the time clear it. But I don't know how many times Uber wants me to pay for that.

              Also, the driver (Aziz) behaviour was also suspicious in that trip. He kept asking me for extra money over and above the fare because he accepted my ride late night. But when I didn't agree, he did that. He collected 1015 rs from me but recorded only 700 and kept 315 in his pocket.

              This complaint has been raised with Uber multiple times but they refused to help here. It seems that it is not only the driver but Uber as the organization also, who has come to these levels to make extra money.

                The driver refuse to this trip then why i will pay 20 Rupees cancelation charged bcoz your driver refused for the trip .you should have to charged 20 rupees from driver account.

                  I am a frequent user o[censored]ber i have booked for uber moto from Bidhannagar Municipalty to 131 sarat bose road on abouut 8.20 PM on 24/04/21 after my cancel i got one bike in app it is showing the name Binay and the bike number which was showing is different the biker number which came to me was WB 04H 0877 and said me he will drop but I have to pay him Rs 30 /- extra after charge mention in the app so I said no to him and request him to cancel the trip, he said he will make sure that he will made me pay Rs 15/- extra to company and i can do nothing about it and after 15 mins he cancel the trip and in the Uber app I notice that Rs 15 /- was charged to me

                    Please appreciate One Mr. Narayan Bansode on 20/4/21 took 304 Rs. against actual bill of Rs.204. Again to my utter surprise the is not using and any app like google pay or else one for payment, on request I gave him Rs.500/ and having no change as usual returned only Rs. 190 assuring to return or adjust in next trip and gave me his contact No.[protected] but for last few days after repeated contacts he is not responding, please do let me know what action you propose and whether you refund excess amount paid .

                      I paid cash on non cash trip.because uber driver demand money forcefully in cash form.while I paid amount by paytm but Uber driver demand cash ...I called uber driver many time they told me I had not got your payment through paytm so what I do please tell me ??

                        I had made a trip from Vaishnodevi academy to salkia howrah on 18/4/21 around 7:54pm.The uber driver's name was Md (as shown in app). During the entire journey he did rash driving and on telling him he misbehaved with us. He did not even leave us to the required destination given in the app and moreover I paid him the entire fare of Rs 274 in cash which is now showing completely outstanding. Now the Uber company tells us to pay twice...but why would I pay twice for the same ride?

                            I have boarded the cab from delhi to gurgaon and uber has falsely imposing toll charges on my ride and we all know that no toll charges has to paid when entering in Gurugram. If want to come back to delhi then we need to pay toll charges. I request them to remove the charges but they are not ready to do that

                              I took a trip on uber on 09/04/2021. After riding the car I requested the driver to turn on A.C. system of the car. The driver rudely refused to turn on the air conditioning system stating that due to rise in fuel prices the A.C. can not be turned on. I then asked him to wear a face mask. Initially the driver just ignored my request stating that car can not be driven while wearing a face mask. Later on my repeated request the driver took out a hankie from his pocket and covered his face with that. My question to Uber India is whether the company has made any rule that due to rise is fuel price air conditioning system of the car shall be non functional ? If so then why the company has not informed me the same at the time of booking ? If not so then how the driver dare to say that due to fuel price rise A.C. system can not be turned on where the customer is being charged for the same ? What action is Uber India taking for this sort of negligence which definitely looses the credibility of the organization to its customers ?

                                I, Shabbir A. Patanwala had taken a ride from Safed Pul to Churchgate for which the fare was 427 which I had paid at that same time. Mr. Nanhelal was the driver.

                                Now today I had again taken a trip from Churchgate to Safed Pul - my todays fare was 491 - I was very much shocked when the driver said that the the above fare of Rs. 427 was not paid and so a total of Rs. 790 had to be paid.

                                How could such a mistake occur. Would request you to kindly look into this matter.

                                  This is in regard of my cab booking on sunday from ghaziabad to meerut . five times my cab got cancelled. Drivers asked me about the drop locations and cancelled them saying they dont gas or they dont want to go there, or that they will not go beacuse they dont get the cabs returning back. Once the driver came to the location for the ride reversed back in front of me that they will not go to the location. The cancelleations of the cab led me to stand on the road unattended for a hour.

                                    This is regarding my trip on 9th March from Vadodara Central Bus Station to Kalol (Panchmala District - https://goo.gl/maps/nR6DCyfekxFYHVGK6). The driver made a horrible route mistake & started going towards Kalol (in
                                    Gandhinagar - https://goo.gl/maps/r8kbgFzQoYy13UjW9). He started to take Vadodara - Ahmedabad Expressway & that's when i asked him why he is going towards it & he says my home location is Ahmedabad & so i've got your trip to Kalol, Gandhinagar whereas i had chosen drop location of Kalol, Panchmahal.

                                    Luckily, we hadn't crossed toll-booth by the time i asked him to change route & follow google map. He said you must change drop location because he knew now Uber will consider double fare since we are on expressway & maps will consider completing the expressway completely (which is around 75+ km long) and
                                    unfortunately Uber did that. I had no choice but to change the location, i just moved few meters from my previous drop location. Fare changed from earlier amount of 1058 to 2269. But then he smartly took U turn before the toll-booth & we saved lot of time, he got higher trip fare.

                                    Meaning, trip fare is not considering actual km covered & we covered some 15km extra because of driver's stupidity.
                                    Ideal Route was 55.4km. Driver's stupidity made us cover 74-75km in actual. Uber considered 131km for fare calculation. That means fare charged is much more higher than legitimate. Attaching fare details, all maps for your reference.

                                    I have raised numerous incident in Uber help but they aren't ready to help, completely opposite to customer centric approach, attaching that discussion as well.

                                      On 29th Feb'21, I have taken Uber from Gandhi Nagar (Bengaluru) to Bengaluru International Airport.The bill amount shown to me was Rs.637/-. I paid 640/- to the driver.After an hour, I receive a message that Rs.337/- remains unpaid.Fail to understand, how will a driver leave me without getting his full payment.Would like to understand this goof-up! Will appreciate a revert on the same.
