On 14th January 2020, I came back to Delhi from Goa and boarded an Uber Taxi as per the Trip Code that was sent to me (from Delhi Airport Terminal 3). It showed me an amount of Rs. 440/- from Terminal 3 to my Home at Guru Harkishan nagar, Paschim Vihar, which by any standards was usual, as even on many of my earlier trips I have paid between Rs. 400-500/-. I boarded a Maruti Suzuki Ritz (License Plate- HR63C4412), driven by Balwant Singh (as shown registered by Uber). Everything seemed normal and we took the normal route reaching Paschim vihar through Delhi Cantt. When I got down, to my utter shock, my Driver showed me a fare of Rs. 2013/-. Even my phone showed the amount of Rs. 2013. When I refused to pay the amount to driver as I wasn’t having enough cash with me at that time he told me to paytm him the amount. After some time when he left, he started calling me and threatening me to pay the rest of the amount so I had to pay, as that is the norm for Uber and as it was showing in the bill. When I later checked the trip route on the Internet (through my Computer), it showed that we had reached the correct location using the fraud route and the payment made was of Rs. 2013/-. Later, I checked my phone Trips and it showed that I had gone all over Gurugram till Kherki Dhaula toll, and so on and finally getting off at Guru Harkishan Nagar, Paschim vihar, New Delhi. It showed I have travelled 145.35 km from 8:12pm to 9:10pm which is not possible. The question that comes to mind is, how was my phone showing that I went on to travel 145.35 km in just 1 hour whereas the distance between Terminal 3 to my Guru Harkishan Nagar is just 25km? Was the Uber Website hacked, or was my phone hacked? This Cab driver could have hacked into my phone ultimately showing a wrong amount, and charging me for the same. I was even charged for the crossing of Kherki Dhaula Toll, T1 pickup charges (I was actually picked up from T3) and some other MCD charges. Such fraud should not go unpunished and those people responsible for this must be brought to justice. I should be refunded the amount with an additional amount paid to me as fraud compensation and causing mental agony. Either my phone was hacked as it still shows the complete inaccurate route (the screenshots of the complete route has been saved) or Uber has been hacked as even though my route through the Internet access shows that I travelled from Delhi Airport Terminal 3 to Guru Harkishan Nagar, Paschim Vihar, it shows that I have been charged Rs. 2013/-. When Uber was sent the message that I had been charged extra, they took no action on it and I still did not receive any call from them.

Date 19 Jan 2021 Time 10;05 pm T3 IGI Uber Pickup Zone

Booked Uber Go @ 750/- for Crossing Republik (Next to Shipra Mall) Ghaziabad.
Vehicle assigned was Ertiga, I checked Uber app and found that fare is still 750/- as sometimes any car is assigned if lower model is not available.

It was never indicated that Uber Go is not available and Uber XL is assigned with revised fare and to
accept the revised fare. Even when the car was half way, fare shown was still 750/-.

Driver was driving very slowly and when I asked him, he cited that speed cameras are on roads so he drives within limit although speed limit on highway from Gazipur onwards is 100kms for cars... slow driving gives driver more time to show that he has travelled more distance.

Once we reached destination, driver showed me 2106/- on his mobile and even my app was displaying same fare. Distance travelled 147 kms in 63 mins whereas actual distance is 45 kms only.

I offered him 750/- but driver called his owner / uber contact and this fellow rudely told me that if I don't pay, then he will send goons as he knows my address...

Next day i checked full details of my trip and it had Kerki Daula Toll charges also included... just to show that i had travelled from airport T1 and not T3 to Kekri Daula and then to Ghaziabad... so it is all covered up even if you make a complaint.

tried to contact UBER helpline, but reply was that "we will get back soon"
I had to pay 2100/- hoping that UBER will resolve but 2 days have passed and reply i got from uber is that "our expert team is looking into the matter" only to fleece more customers

Request not to hire Uber from delhi airport and that too during night.

    Sir,
    i have tried to book cab/auto on 15/1/2021 morning at 9 am..once the trip was conformed the uber driver has cancelled the trip..This was happend around 5 times with in span on 20 mins..even the uber has cancelled the trip and frozen the account..now i am
    unable to book the cab..i have tried to contact and complain regarding this but there is no use from
    them

      I booked uber from whitefield to international airport Bangalore..while paying, I tried with BHIM UPI and did payment Twice of 831/-...but the transaction was pending and didnt happen so I paid up with cash n left...after 15 min the amount got deducted from my bank and showed it was paid to uber. I am unable to reach uber for this and want the extra money that has been paid back which is supposed to be 1662/-

        In 2018, i travelled by Uber cab to the airport. Since my digital payment showed an error so i paid the cab driver in cash. Uber app still showed payment as pending and highlighted the concern to them. But they still did not confirm. Today after 2years when i booked the cab again they charged me again for that earlier trip. When i raised the concern they replied stating the case is 30days old and they cannot help. How could they charge for a trip that is 30days old.

          Uber has the worst service. Some drivers cancel the ride and some are bloody racists making racist comments. The drivers have no shame that their CUSTOMER is calling or waiting for him. I don't know how uber selects the worst drivers! The drivers are so shameless that they either refuse your ride or make you wait like an ### for 20-30 mins. Won't make the mistake o[censored]sing uber ever again.
          P. S. If you have the guts, put a proper complaint option in the app so that the CUSTOMERs can register their grievances.

            Uber has taken India for granted hires drivers who have no education and manners whatsoever to the point where I beleive under India doesn't even check if their bloody drivers have criminal or other records putting at risk the lives and integrity of the riders this time around uber is not going o get away easy with their load of ### I'm going to create a international platform where people canmlidge their complaints against this supposedley clean and cheap ride application/company

              Hi,

              I would like to lodge a complaint to Uber.

              Today morning I have booked a trip from sealdah railway station to Narayanpur, Rajarhat, Kolkata.

              I have been shown with an estimated fare of Rs 389.

              After availing the cab, I noticed in 10 mins the the fare changed to Rs 538, an increase of 37%.

              Note that there is no road block or traffic condition behind it. It is just some fraudulent behavior from uber.

              I have raised incident with Uber but they are unable to hear my case. They claim it is within the limit.

              Hence I want to lodge a complaint.

                Uber charged money from Paytm wallet and took cash for the ride as well. Their help support is worst that’s why they don’t provide someone to talk on phone. On email they just say their answer and don’t listen to you. Worst company I am seeing in today’s date. Not going to opt and I will advise everyone to boycott Uber as they came into fraud activity.

                  Hi I was travelling on 20th mid night. I took cab from rukmini dhaba Bhiwandi and 10 mins I realised that I lost my important belongings at the pick up point hence I modified the location and asked Ola guy to take back. He denied and said I want to go for food I requested him it will take only 10 mins more. He ignored and started talking on phone without wering mask in bhaiya language I found him suspicious so I told him to stop the car. He didn’t listen to me and started going in more speed I started shouting to stop the car and told him will not pay if you don’t go back. He said get out. When I was getting out he raised the speed of the car and my one leg in the road and another one was in car and he pushed me from back. I was having phone in hand so I follown down on the road and I got minour injuries and phone display broken from both the side. I took phone 4 months back I have bill too but Uber denied me to give recovery.

                    I am Sona Paul, with my son uber car booked 25/12/2020, 6:24 pm pick up location 53 a, J L NEHRU RD, KOLKATA-700071
                    Destination Location - 154 N S C RD KOLKATA-700040
                    When I Call The Driver He Said Please Come to GURUDAWAR CROSSING so I Cameto GURUDAWAR CROSSING BUT when I Call to Many Times Driver said MISS LANGUAGE AND Automatically Change The Driver AND CAR NO. till 6:54 PM
                    AND I Help TRAFFIC POLICE AND Traffic Police said come to that location over my Telephone BUT he does not come to location and he cancelled the booking.

                    THEN I 6:55 BOOKED ANOTHER UBER CAR SAME EVENT TO ME
                    I AM VERY HARASSMENT OF YOUR SYSTEM AND DRIVER BEHAVIOUR.
                    TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY.

                      I have booked a 6hr+60km rental. After about 15km and 45 minutes, me and my wife got down the cab at an apartment, saying him to wait. After 5 minutes, when we came out, the cab and driver were disappeared.
                      We were left in the middle of our journey and had to struggle for next travel arrangement. Faced lot of inconvenience in hot sunlight and loss of time.
                      When complained in the app, Uber replied that the charges are correct. Despite I explained the booked package vs actual details and the frustrating experience, they didn't refund my amount and not compensated for the inconvenience and betrayal.

                        Auto Rates are higher than normal rates rates was changed within a few days and for same route first you charge 64rs for same route then 67 then 69 and now it’s 74 rs for same route this is not expected from Uber very unsatisfied from Uber

                          Today I hired uber taxi from banglore airport to Mysore. For that ride I have received a bill of rs 1766 by email but the driver has charged me rs. 2700. A senior citizen has been cheated by the driver.
                          It is requested that excess amount charged by the driver may be refunded to me and suitable action may be taken against the driver.

                              I had booked Uber cab from Bangalore Aiport [ Uber Point ] to RR nagar, Bangalore on 19th, Dec, 2020 at 12:42 AM while booking the cab the fare was displayed as 885 INR and the driver asked me to paycash instead of online payment. When i got the cab i had shared the OTP to start the trip and given my mobile to driver as he said he was not aware of the destination place and his mobile was discharged and his mobile network is also down. Also he had taken long route so the toll tax need not to be paid.I had also force the driver to take the route as in the Google Map but he keeps on silent.

                              Once I reached the destination the driver was asking me to pay 1345 INR cash in angry tone when i cross checked my mobile the trip was already cancelled by the driver. when i told the driver that the trip was not even started then he was started shouting on the road. I was scared and paid him1345 INR cash to driver.

                                Drivers keep waiting the consumers and the. Cancel.the ride for which consumer has to face losses.
                                If vice versa is the case and if customer cancels the trip they are charged.
                                Now uber has no window to lodge complaints of drivers who cancelled the trips without reason.
                                Day by day uber is dictating the consumers which is a serious thing and the Govt or like should take care of

                                    I booked Uber DL1RTB2857 from IGI T2 Delhi on 20/12/2020 and Started ride on 9:48 PM driver droped me at IP Extension which is Aprox 30 Kms from the airport. My ride estimate was Rs800/-.Ride time was 41 Minutes I got bill of Rs2132/- On close observation of the bill I found that ride distance was 91.97 Kms. Is it possible for Wagon R to travel distance of 91.97Kms in just 41 minutes in Delhi traffic?There are very few options in application. In help section when I applied they revised the fair to Rs2107/- my problem is not resolved and there is no option to contact company. Please stop this fraud company.

                                    I booked Uber DL1RTB2857 from Dabri Etn. Delhi on 05/08/2022 and Started ride on 7:12 PM driver droped me at Aerocity which is Aprox 14 Kms from the airport. My ride estimate was Rs. 276/-.I got bill of Rs1410/- On close observation of the bill I found that ride distance was 67.75 Kms. Is it possible for Wagon R to travel distance of 68Kms in just 45 minutes in Delhi traffic? that means driver has broken all speed limit.
                                    There are very few options in application. In help section when I applied they revised the fair to Rs1410/- my problem is not resolved and there is no option to contact company. Please stop this fraud company.

                                      I was overcharged Rs.31/- in a trip. When I submitted through help menu I was credited. When I took a next trip it was adjusted. But again I was shown Rs.31/- is due from me. This is not the first time.
