I am a routine uber costumer from my mobile number +91 [protected].
I have booked a uber cab maruti suzuki wagonR at 12:46AM on 16th december 2020 from T3 terminal IGI Airport Delhi to House Number 1015 Sector 3 Vasundhara . The original distance was around 50KM and the estimated fare shown on booking was around 700 rupees. But on reaching the drop location the fare to be paid shown around 2200 rupees . After seeing the bill i was shocked for a moment, I enquired about the same from driver but he responded by saying that bills are computed from server and they don't have any say in the same . on this i hesitantly paid 2200 rupees and taken number of driver for future correspondence . On downloading the bill receipt from uber app I found a discrepency there the distance travelled was shown as 144 km whereas I travelled only around 50 km. The main issue was of actual distance travelled and distance shown in bill are extremely different.

kindly resolve this at the earliest from your end or else I have no option but to get my grievance resolved from appropriate forum which is Consumer Court judicature at Ghaziabad .

I am attaching the bill here for reference.

    I booked an UBER taxi for my friend on 28th September 2020, evening from Punjabi Bagh to Rohini. The fare at the time of booking was displayed at Rs.113/- and the mode of payment was cash. However, at the time of alighting, the driver asked for Rs. 616/- that was Rs. 503/- extra than what was reflected at the beginning of the trip. My friend was allowed to deboard only after he paid Rs.613/- as per the Uber driver’s demand.
    On filing a complaint with UBER, and even after repeated reminders, the matter has not been resolved. UBER has neither refunded the extra Rs. 503/- it has fraudulently charged, nor has it provided any proof of an earlier due that they claim is pending since the year 2015, October 21. What is worse is that, while the fare was displayed as Rs. 113/- at the starting of the trip, UBER exploited the passenger’s helplessness at the end of the trip and extracted Rs. 616/-, an extra Rs. 503/-.
    I requested a call from UBER and shared my number [protected]. However, it is more than 2 months, nobody called to resolve the matter. I asked them for any evidence of earlier due since the year 2015. They have not done that either. This earlier due claim is false since why did they wait for 5 years to recover any dues notwithstanding that I used their service countless times between the years 2015 to 2020? Clearly, there is something wrong at their end.
    Kindly make UBER refund my Rs. 503/- and issue a stricture or a punitive measure and exemplary penalty against UBER so that they cannot defraud and harass helpless customers like this my undue overcharging.

      On Monday 14 December following cancellation fees have been charged on my number [protected]:

      a)Rs25 at 6:06 pm
      b) Rs 31at 6:43 pm
      c)Rs 39 at 7:10 pm

      Please note that In all the above cases the Drivers cancelled the trips once I gave my destination as Vakil Garden City and I did not cancel any of these trips.
      Therefore request you to reverse all these above charges

        My Uber India registered mobile number is [protected]. We had booked a trip from Raghunathpur, Kolkata to Madurdaha, Kolkata on 12/12/20 with total trip fare as 321. The cab arrived on time, but there were lots of other challenges/issues we had to bear during the trip. I would like Uber India to review the following issues and take requested actions ASAP.

        Firstly, the AC was not working and it was very poor quality of air outside, so opening windows was not an option. We were left with no other option but to bear the heat and suffocation. Secondly, the driver didn't sanitize the cab before we boarded and when we asked he said he did it before arriving. When we further asked to show the sanitizer can, he couldn't show any. Lastly, he was wearing a mask just hanging under the chin, throughout the duration of trip with us. Really, is that the correct usage of a mask?

        We were travelling with little kid. So, I think this kind of experience during the trip is absolutely not acceptable. We were suffocating throughout the trip and at the same time we were left with no other option since the driver had already started the trip. Also, the driver wearing a mask on chin just for show is utter ### and poses a life risk to the passengers.

        I would like Uber to take necessary actions against the driver/cab in question. At the same time, I would request for a compensation/refund for the concerned trip, since we were not expecting this level of horrendous service from Uber India. I have attached the screen grab of the trip for reference.

              I booked a cab for terminal -3 airport in the morning today and when I reach on airport the driver started arguing he charged double fare at that time I was getting late for my flight so pay the amount because I don't want to be late but it is very bad experience with Uber . I need my extra amount refund

                    Sir,
                    I booked Uber vehicle no. HR38V7223 from New Delhi Rly Stn to Shamli on 01 Dec 2020. After arriving at Shamli, he asked for payment, I told him that online payment through linked paytm has been made. Then after filling CNG from filling station, he came back to my house at Shamli, and told me that Sir I have not received payment and uber normally takes cash payment for outstation trip. Believing his honesty I paid him Rs 1828 in cash too.

                    After his departure, I checked my paytm account and found that the fare has already been automatically paid from my linked paytm account.

                    Kindly intervene and refund me Rs 1828 paid in excess of fair. Otherwise I will register FIR against Uber as well as the Driver. Alternatively, please share Driver Mr Gavendra Singh mobile number.

                      I have lost my phone in uber vehicle on[protected] and contact uber to get driver number try calling to uber driver [protected] which was provided by uber. His number always switched off and out of service.

                      But uber says we have clearly disclosed all instructions for user to secure their belongings and not responsible by uber, events like happen for user unfortunately not for definitely.

                      I missed my phone and uber has to responsible for this and try to reach driver to provide my phone.

                        On 28th November, I came back to Delhi from Hyderabad and boarded an Uber Taxi as per the Trip Code that was sent to me (from Delhi Airport Terminal 3). It showed me an amount of Rs. 668/- from Terminal 3 to my Home at Mayur Vihar Phase – 1, which by any standards was usual, as even on many of my earlier trips I have paid between Rs. 650/- to Rs 750/-. I boarded a Swift Desire Taxi, driven by one Naveen (as shown registered by Uber). Everything seemed normal and we took the normal route reaching Mayur Vihar through Moti Bagh, Ring Road, Barapulla Flyover and DND Flyway. When I got down, to my utter shock, my Driver showed me a fare of Rs. 1917/-. Even my phone showed the amount of Rs. 1917/-, which I had to pay, as that is the norm for Uber. When I later checked the trip route on the Internet (through my Computer), it showed that we had reached the correct location using the fraud route and the payment made was of Rs. 1917/-. Later on I checked my phone Trips and it showed that I had gone all over South Delhi till Badarpur Toll, crossing over Yamuna River, finally getting off at Munirka, New Delhi. The question that comes to mind is, how was my phone showing that I got off at Munirka, when I actually got off at Mayur Vihar? Was the Uber Website hacked, or was my phone hacked? This Cab driver could have hacked into my phone ultimately showing a wrong amount, and charging me for the same. I was even charged for the crossing of Badarpur Toll (Southbound as well as Northbound), T1 pickup charges (I was actually picked up from T3) and some other MCD charges. Such fraud should not go unpunished and those people responsible for this must be brought to justice. I should be refunded the amount with an additional amount paid to me as fraud compensation and causing mental agony. Either my phone was hacked as it still shows the complete inaccurate route (the screenshots of the complete route has been saved) or Uber has been hacked as even though my route through the Internet access shows that I travelled from Delhi Airport Terminal 3 to Mayur Vihar, it shows that I have been charged Rs. 1917/-. When Uber was sent the message that I had been charged extra, they took no action on it.

                        Uber contacted me, through e-mail and updated my Uber Wallet with the disputed amount. This amount was used on subsequent Uber Trips, automatically by the Uber Software.

                          Hello,

                          My cell no is [protected] and this is with regards to my ride on 20th November. My bill as per your receipt shows Rs. 137 but driver asked for Rs 485 as per his phone app, which we refused and showed him the receipt but he was reluctant on the amount so we paid him Rs. 200 and left. I even tried to raise a concern on the app but nobody reached out. Now you app shows that we paid 285 less and is asking for payment without which we cannot book a cab.

                          A customer should not suffer for a driver's or apps mistake Please call or resolve my issue at the earliest as I am a regular customer o[censored]ber.

                            I lost my iPhone XR on 25th Nov 2020 in the Uber which I boarded. I reached out to the driver, who took considerable time to get back but couldn't find the phone in his car.

                            I request you to look up with the driver diligently as I had kept the phone on the seat. When the driver came back after 45 minutes of constantly calling him, the phone wasn't there.

                            As the phone was expensive and contained sensitive data this puts me in a very vulnerable position. Please help me find the same at the earliest.

                                Every day the drivers cancel the ride. I usually get 5-6 cancellation which takes upto 45 to 1hour time waiting for the ride. If the rides are ment to be cancelled then plz remove the location frok your gps. Depending on uber for office has become an issue. Cannot trust uber for thinking about customer

                                    today trip 18.11.20 and time 924 am I booked a trip from RGI Airport to Goshamahal, Mr.Sunil driver(Maruti suzuki swift dzire) had picked me up from GMR International airport and droped me at goshamahal as per booking. my booking charges was Rs.643/-. he demanded me Rs.790/. i aked uber show only Rs.643/- only but he said that toll fee added you will get detail bill by mail from uber.

                                    just now i realised that i was cheated by the driver, he had cancelled the trip and taken is direct ride.

                                    request to look into the matter, so that in future on customer is cheated by uber driver.

                                        On my last trip, I was charged rs.454. I paid in cash. Now I see that the lier and thieving driver said i have paid only rs.100.

                                        I am a retired government employee (teacher) and you will never see anything like this in my uber history. he must be terminated from uber
