I have been writing several emails to uber about this unauthorized duplicate charge for which I also shared the message that I received from my bank along with the Screen sort of my credit card statement, however I hv not received a single response from them so far hence seeking this forum help. They don't have a customer centric chat site or number to speak with anyone which means that one has to die to settle their issues. I M really devastated by there customer service and want it to take further.

    I signed in uber eats app to order food, after 2-3 minutes later, I when reopened the app, it was already log out, I tried login again!

    It said, my account is disabled, I couldn't even make an single food order from my account, I tried so many times emailing them regarding reactivating my account, but they declined each time!

    Please help me, I am genuine user, I never did fraud in my life, and use 1 and only number

      Hi

      Have ordered the food from chennai india.

      While registering my debit card, they deducted firs rs.1/ from my account.

      And i have ordered few items after that. And one of my order the item got cancelled immediately but they took 45.38 rs. Immediately from my card.

      And i have followed up with all the details they asked like bank statement, sms screenshot and even they told to check with bank.

      Everything through their mobile app only. All i shared to the details.

      Nothing is resolved from their end. They simply said issue with bank. And i am using this bank card for more than 10 years and i didnt face any issue.

      But this uber eats didnt credit my sample amount and this transaction.

      There is no help email or help phone no. Available for to talk. They asked to contact simply via ubereats app only.

      Just a big company they are cheating and dragging this issue for more than a week. Not sure how to proceed next.

      If the amount is more, we dont know anyway to contact and get the issue resolved. It is too much threat for the internet transactions.

        Submitting on behalf of my wife. Last evening (26/05/2019) she was driving her own car through Guindy, Chennai. When she was behind a Uber cab, both the car were driving at the speed of 30-40KM/hour, the Uber cab suddenly hit the brake and stopped the car (reason is unknown) though the cab car stopped just by fraction of seconds without any indication she managed to control and stop but the momentum of car touched the cab car's back bumper (no damaged for both the cars, refer attached pictures). She wanted to get down and discuss though it was not her fault but there were no parking place and traffic she couldnt get down in the spot to discus so she put the left indicator and drove forward slowly to find a place to park and discuss but the cab driver overtook her and stopped at almost middle of the road and got down and started harassing her with all vulgar and offensive words. As she got frightened because of abusive cab driver's behavior she didnt get down from the car instead she was trying to call police for help. Meanwhile this cab driver started banging her cab bonnet and broke her car's right rear view mirror. Later he left the spot as public started gathering. I'm really worried why Uber has such drivers who dont even know how to talk to ladies in public places. I request Uber to take required action on the driver so such things dont happen again for another lady victim. Please keep me posted on the progress and it will be a great help if you could get the compensation money from him for the mirror damage. Thanks in advance.

          Used uber on 22nd may 2019 twice @11 a. M & 2.55 p. M. On first trip it was scheduled booking after estimated approval of fare under rs.110.00 but not at all convinced about fare breakdown which cost rs. 187.00. Seems driver has initiate trip start before reached to our start point.
          We have just compare above because while returned after 4 hrs by uber only and similar route, similar destinations we have got charged rs 104.00 only.

          Please justify the fare since uber is my first and only choice since long but this incidence is forced me to think other option.

              I had booked uber pool on 24.5.19 evening. Car no. 3566 swift desire... But out of my utter surprise a booking came to the car from a spot which i had already left 5 mins ago... So i had to accept that the car had to make a u turn and had to pick up the rider... I had not made a complain if any number of booking uber company had been made as permitted on the way of journey... But i had to go to back side as i was in uber pool. Not expected from you uber... So miser.

              I had booked an order on 26.06.2019 of Rs.68, and my money got deducted from my bank account, for EPAYMENT SERVIC making a total of Rs. 226, through the payment gateway, and the payment gateway name is zaakpay, however no money has be refunded yet, kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                I am writing my complain here because i am tired of facing unprofessional behaviour from uber drivers, and these (The drivers) not facing any kind of consequences.
                I personally feel your feedback system in the app serves no real purpose.
                Today, i got an uber cab (After a previous cancelation without any motive). The cab was place exactly 200 metres away from me and didn't pick any of my calls. When i walked towards him and approached him, he was playing games in his phone and denied his duty. He denied to cancel the trip as well.
                I really think these drivers should not be working for big companies as uber and spoiling the name.
                These are the details of the car: ka51 c 8228
                This is just one case or thousands. I think uber should really work on the professionalism of its drivers.

                I have two uber gift cards worth rupees 1000 each, I applied it on one of my number and after then I requested to change my number, they have changed my phone number but they didn't transferred my uber credit of 2000 rupees, I will never use uber and will never let anyone to use this kind of fraud company services.

                  I have order my breakfast - mini tiffin and podi idli in hotel bharathi bhavan (Chennai).in mini tiffin they mentioned coffee as in combo list. When i spoke to delivery boy who was there in hotel by the time, the delivery boy said they are not providing the coffee. So i told don't get the food. So i got call from uber customer support that if i cancel this order i have to pay cancellation charges.

                  If hotel is not providing the food as they mentioned in combo list why do they accept my order. I said i don't pay cancellation charges for hotel mistake. Uber eats customer support agent cancelled the order. Now they are asking me to pay the cancellation charges.

                  I raised a complaint on uber eats for this. They keep sending a scripted messages and never responding for my actual message.

                  I clearly said i didn't do any mistake here. I ordered food, if hotel is not ready to give as they mentioned in list, everybody will as them to cancel that. I did't get the food at the end. Now why should i want to pay cancellation charges.

                  Uber eats customer support not responding taking any necessary action and keeping asking me to pay cancellation charges and never been resolved yet.
                  Please take necessary action on uber and that hotel bharathi bhavan (Chennai).

                    Unnecessary toll charges were added to last uber ride i took.. The estimated price was 380 rs and i was charged 110 rs extra along with 8 rs as waiting fare, that is i paid 500 rs to the driver without reason. I want my refund back. There is no complain number or any source where i can register my complaint. I want this to be resolved as soon as possible.

                      I am pranoy suresh (Uber user with email id - [protected]@gmail.com). I took a trip with uber driver naseem (Vehicle no. Hr74a9568) to delhi airport terminal 3 from sector 48 gurgaon. The fare displayed in my uber app at the start of trip was somewhere around rs. 360/-
                      The driver was quite talkative throughout the trip. He dropped me at my destination and we parted on a happy note. However the driver did not close my trip and kept on driving. I texted him a couple of times through the app to which he kept replying. Finally he closed the trip when i called him. However he didn't receive the call. I was charged rd 629.35 which included airport surcharge etc.

                      I tried raising this issue through the app but the app doesn't provide any category for this kind of incident. Please find attached my receipt in which my destination is seen as rajokri flyover. It can be easily confirmed that i didn't change my destination during the travel from my phone.

                      I request uber to explore this incident and make your app foolproof for this kind of incidents. I would also request to refund the extra amount i have been charged.

                        I ordered food at 3:07am and deliver time estimated was 30-40 mins. After u booked it said 3:55am then 04:05 am then 04:35am n now 04:55am and the order is ready n the restaurant is still waiting for a pick up person. Ubereats customer care is closed. Restaurant guy tells me he's waiting for a delivery person and there's nobody to pick up am charges on my card. I don't have an option to cancel it as well or get my money reversed. So without sleeping should i wait for you guys to come n deliver. If you don't have enuf man power then y shud u take orders i wudv chosen a different delivery method. We are ordering food cause we are hungry.. And this is not the first time.. U guys r ridiculous n hopeless. I have no clue abt my order n my money

                          Hi,

                          Uber India is making customers fool, they always charge high delivery charges during evening and night time and yet don't deliver food as per the committed time as per Uber eats app.

                          When customers calls to Uber customer Care to cancel order as they have failed to deliver on tome, at the beginning they will waste some time by asking some useless details and saying sorry multiple times and at the end When you insist them to cancel at any cost they say you'll be charged as per uber policy. Moreover, they don't have cancel option in Uber Eats India app.

                          I would like govt to take some action against these buggers, they are taking benefits of our laws which are not good against these companies. These things doesn't happen outside inside just because we have strict laws to fight these kind of things.

                          Its high time now, please take some action against Uber

                            I booked a round trip with Uber XL on 18th May 2019. The trip was From Sector 76 Noida, with one stop at Sector 50 which is 2 kms away and another stop at Sector 16 which is approximately 9 to 10 kms away, after that the final destination was Sector 76 itself. All the stop locations were updated accurately in the app. The amount for the trip was estimated between 480 to 600 rupees as per the app. Once the trip stopped the total charge was a whopping 1619 rupees. Have tried contacting the customer support continuously but they are not ready to respond at all. Even tried contacting Uber support on twitter. still no response. My hard earned money is not for Uber's technical faults. The entire distance covered was around 22 kilometers within Noida. Still a toll is there. Dont know for what. Stop your orgainsation in India if you are not even able to support us. other Indian origin apps may charge a little more than you do but are much better in customer support and charging what they say... I need my money back

                              Issue : i took a cab to go to my office. I am an entrepreneur and director of two companies
                              I was going to my office and since my driver is on leave i booked uber. The whole experience was terrible. I couldnt install uber app on my phone for soe echnical reason so i booked from my mom's phone. I shared my live location yet he came to the wrong place which is ok it happens i understand. But the problem was he didnt have the courtesy to call and ask where to come.
                              I had to reach on time (I was before time). He kept taking the wrong turns and kept taking u turn. I told him we have to take a right he took a left saying "i know madam where to go" then he took me to wrong place, saying aagaya aapka destination. I have built my own office how the hell i wouldn't where is my office. Then he dropped me and said this is what the app is showing. I got so angry i requested him to take the way that i asked him to as i have lot of baggage with me. Then he took and charged me 500 inr.
                              I am very unhappy with this. I dont think i will ever take an uber. I was late for my business meeting. I shall post this on social media. And make sure people avoid uber

                                Uber India is not responding at all. There is no customer care number to deal with such situations. The driver not even tried to contact anyone. It is such a shocking moment for me that even so worldwide brand also not maintaining customer satisfaction.

                                  I am facing a grave problem which has been created on the part o[censored]ber but not solved quite unsatisfactorily.

                                  I am writing the problem step by step so that you can easily understand my problem.

                                  1. On 12th march, 2019, i booked two double chicken rolls from arslan-jessore road via uber eats worth ₹101.90/- (Order id: #f64d1). I chose cash on delivery option.

                                  2. The food items had not been delivered to my house as the delivery boy (Somnath) had not come to my place.

                                  3. So, the food never arrived at my house.

                                  4. But uber eats showed that the food was delivered which is absolutely false.

                                  5. As the delivery boy (Somnath) had not come to my house to deliver my order, i was unable to pay him the amount ₹101.90 /-.

                                  6. And i am not responsible to pay the amount as the food items had not been delivered to my address.

                                  7. I don't know what had been done with the food items or where it was delivered. The delivery boy (Somnath) only knows it. He is the main culprit because he was responsible to deliver the food items to my address which he had not done.

                                  8. Then i complained against the order via uber eats app but no investigation was made regarding this at that time.

                                  9. Two months completed. On 19th may, 2019 (2days before) at 12:30am, while returning from my loksava voting duty, i tried to book a uber cab via uber riding app from dum dum railway station. But on the app it was showed to me that there is an outstanding amount ₹101.90/- regarding the uber eats order (#f64d1) two months ago.

                                  10. It is an absolute illegal charge against me because on 12th march, the delivery boy (Somnath) had not delivered my order to my house. Why should i pay the money as i had not received the order?

                                  11. Yesterday (20.05.2019) i repeatedly complained to uber but your executives continuously insisted me to pay the outstanding amount when i had not got my food items two months ago.

                                  12. I demand from you to remove the false outstanding amount ₹101.90/- from my uber riding & eats apps now & take the whole outstanding amount from the delivery boy (Somnath) as he created the mess, not from me.

                                  13. Therefore, i humbly request you to remove the false outstanding amount ₹101.90/- from my uber riding & eats apps immediately without giving me any lame excuse of your terms & policy & inform me solving the problem positively.

                                    I took a ride on 18th may from kaushambi to logix mall noida. It showed me 169 rs but the driver has changed the route, i told him this is not usual route. Untill i reached location it showed me 169 rs fare. But when driver ended trip it showed 400rs. And receipt showed extra 231 toll charges. When i complaint driver he said this amount will be refunded. I am complaining uber since then. They are just showing me receipt. Nothing else. I want my money back. Not rich enough to afford 200+ extra charge for mistake that i didn't commit.

                                      Uber eats india forced me to pay and receive a food order i did not want to take.

                                      I placed an order on their mobile application on 20th may 2019 at around 8:20 pm and immediately wanted to cancel the order as i had to go out but the cancellation button on the mobile application was not functioning. I repeatedly tried to cancelled but in vain so i called their call centre only to be told about their policy of cancellations.

                                      They failed to acknowledge their mistake i. E software glitch and repeatedly kept parroting about their policy of cancellation.

                                      When i asked them to cancel the order from there they said i would still be charged for the food even if i don't accept or receive.

                                      Their policy is illogical and harassing for the customer.
                                      I spoke with their supervisor to find a resolution of how not to get charged due to their fault. But there is not a single word of ownership from their end.

                                      Ther were unhelpful and parroting the same word that it is their policy.

                                      Please help as these kinds of the company seem to show zero care towards customer well being. They are only there to harass us and make money while we suffer due to their negligence, fault, errors and glitches. They fail to display empathy and are totally mean in nature and fraudulent in policy framing.

                                      Please help our society be better by not letting these companies go untouched.

                                        I ordered uber eats[protected]/-they have deducted my money from paytm and i got food. At same time they deducted 524.04/- for uber cab without any ride. So many message in help section and email had send. No response. Even they don't have any customer care number, if any urgent issue u can not contact for help to them. You need to dependent on there help and last two days they are not helping any. How they are doing business. Who gave the permission to them india???. I asked ubers eats they are not helping, told it is not there department.

                                        Not sure whether i am getting my money. Even i contact with paytm. They raised the ticket after so many debate against them. But no response
