On 16/04/2019 i have booked the uber cab and it show that i have to pay rs 331 for the rise.
When i finished the tour i was surprised as the cab driver asked the doubled amount that was showing in his app. Neither the cab driver nor me has any clue or info for the double amount.
When i tried to call/email uber customer care number it was not working/operational.
Then i went to the help section then after four day the replied that somewhere around 3 years before my outstanding was some rupees and that has been added to the amount.
My question is that
1. If i had some due with the uber then why it was not communicated with me for the last three years.
2. If i had some due with the uber what it has been not showing in the app.
3. If i had some due then why this is not showing the bill which i have paid double amount.
4. I have paid the double and they are showing the half amount over the app which they also agree
I felt harassed and cheated and now uber has stop replying even in the help section.

    I took an uber hire from lingarajapuram to choodasandra (Around 25 kms). The one way share was shown as rs350/- after a stop of few minutes, i returned to lingarajapuram (A total of 50 kms). A fare of rs998/- was charged. After i raised the complaint with uber, they refused to reduce the charge. I feel the fare should be only rs750/- please resolve this and refund the extra charges

      Hi team, i had raised the complaint to uber more than 2 months back regarding duplicate charges levied to me for which i am not getting any revert and getting the issue closed without the consent.

      I was been told this issue had been escalated and will be reverted back with resolution and also refunded the money in case it duplicate charged. But i have not yet received any reply or resolution.

      How can uber close the issue without resolution or reply??

      Though amount is not high for uber but i would like to highlight this as a worst customer service and negligence in your issue handling.

      Expecting a very quick turn around as this is been charged 2 months now.

        I have got damaged order.. It was clearly happened by the rider o[censored]ber himself.. So when he gave me food, he kept saying sorry sorry as it was damaged already.. After that i came to know items were missing.. Told them to make a conference call with uber delivery partner with me regarding this and they simply denied.. Its completely a fraud... Here i deserve to get my hard earned money back..

        Uber representatives are claiming that they can't refund my amount as my account has been flagged for "high refund activity" when all i did was, as a responsible customer, gave feedback using the options available in uber eats. I didn't ask to be refunded when uber did it automatically from their end in some cases... Hope a proper action will b take of this issue now

            Uber is charging unauthorised toll charges between gurgaon-delhi.
            This toll charges are 105 rs. Per trip.

            Legally, uber ia not allowed to charged such type of charges into the trip fare, if at the toll booth, toll people asks such charges customer can pay directly in cash.

            But, uber blindly charges to the customer in the trip. They are not updatingit and neither refund the toll charges which was actually not.

            I took an uber in the morning from my home at mahadevpura to iskcon temple at rajajinagar which cost me 318 rs. While coming back it showed 391 rs as estimated fare whereas the actual fare was 2445 rs. The driver took an unnecessary spidery route that I didnt ask him to take.even after repeated complain through the app no response as of now.
            I took a ride with uber from mayur vihar-1 to noida sec-62. It was showing rs 220 when i booked the cab however it rose upto rs345 @ drop. Now uber don't provide capability to talk to them. They are not responding back on my complaint. Weird. Poor customer service. I want my money back. This is the first i saw this type of money loot by uber.
            I was overcharged in 4 of my recent trips and now my account is disabled in uber app...this is highly disappointing in terms of services...my email is [protected]@gmail.com and contact number using is [protected].
            I want my money back as soon as possible it's wrong to charge 700 ₹ for a 300 ₹ ride...
            Kindly look in the matter and resolve this issue

                I had booked an order through uber eats fr my daughter in bengaluru.. I tried coordinating with ur team and the delivery boy by calling at least 10 times but due to language problem the delivery boy cudnt understand the exact location.. While in the dark if the nyt my daughter walked outside the hostel gate to the local market in order to locate the guy.. Bt eventually he left saying that he is cancelling order.. Is this nt enough of pain that you guys are charging me for food that didn't reach us???.. I am an office for so a regular cab user.. Bt due to this overcharge i hv been using ola.. Kindly look into the issue and also send me an uber rider pass fr further travel

                  Due to some technical issue in the app o[censored]ber eats, the price of my order was showing with the amount of zero and with the delivery charge it was showing only ten rupees, due to this issue company called me and said to me that i should cancel my order because the restaurant partners are not allowing to deliver the order. I have order 4 bfc shakes from shake maker, surat. Company also called me and said uber eats will not pay for that issue you may reorder. So what should i do, i want my order thats all.

                    1.in bangalore we booked a cab using uber app at around 730 pm from iskcon rajaji nagar to basavanagudi, an appx distance of 15 kms..

                    2. The estimated fare was rs 193/-.

                    3. We arrived 45 mins later at our booked destination without any deviation..

                    4. The actual fare to our utter dismay showed rs 2181/-. The driver wouldn't wait and we ran around mobilized this cash and paid the driver hoping to get a refund from uber.

                    5. We promptly recorded the complaint in uber app and uber acknowledged the same and replied saying the issue is being attended by experts and will be resolved..

                    6. We followed up every day and the last 2 days no substantive reply has come and our distress remains..

                    7. I am examining legal means to recover the excess fare.. This is serious breach of trust based on which this brand has been operating..

                    8. With this much of lapse, we are unable to see a concrete person/process from uber owning up to solve it in a time bound manner..

                    You shouldn’t have paid the driver. But now that you have, you should persue this in consumer court.

                      Hi,

                      I had booked uber cab from delhi airport to drop me at delhi railway station. After completion of trip, i had made payment of rs. 506.88 as per attached receipt. But uber app is still asking me to make another payment of same amount against the same trip and not allowing me to book cab for another trip without completing this payment.

                      I have tried to log-in my grievance through their app along with receipts of transaction/bank statements. But still the issue remains unresolved. Please help!

                        On 10th april 2019 i booked a cab from newtown to sealdah which was charged ₹ 179. After reaching my destination i paid the trip fees. But now i can not book my trip as its showing that i haven't paid. Its ridiculous that a driver will leave the customer without accepting the fee. Driver's name is ghultan. Cab was a swift dzire. Please help me by cancelling the fee and do the needful.. Its a request.

                        Please take action against the driver.. He was paid ₹179 before getting down from the car. This is a very bad behaviour from the driver. His name is Ghultan. The car is a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

                          I advance booked uber to pick my wife and daughter at 1230 for mohan nagar. Spoke to the driver sunil and told him the way for my society,
                          He stood out side the society. So when my wife and daughter came, he asked where to go. So standing outside the house the cab they told him. And he immediately zipped away. And i got the cancellation message from uber. I checked with my wife so this happened, to my surprise i am charged 42 bucks for this, is no fault of mine, over and above that guy should be penalised for utter harassment, and uber to unnecessarily charging me. Pl reply. Or else i will file a complaint with consumer court on this behaviour o[censored]ber and its driver. Regards

                            I booked a cab and the driver was not moving towards my pickup location for about 20 minutes. When asked why he was not moving from his initial location, he confidently says uber app is faulty and that he was coming but the app was showing.

                            After coming, he shows pathetic driving skills taking unnecessary detours and slowing down. I had to face a delay of about an hour and could not reach my destination on time.

                            The service is miserable in this case.

                              I had ordered for food in the uber eats app from inner chef which had a buy one get one free offer on 20th apr 2019. I bought two items for which i had to receive 2 items free. However i received only 2 items. This seems like a bogus marketing strategy where in the consumers are being fooled or the management is pretty lethargic to miss out on the order.

                                Worst ever experience with uber. Booked cab for the 1st time in bangalore and they charged rs. 550 above the expected bill. They did not generate the receipt and not even sent any email after the trip. It was clearly shown in the app that it was my 1st ride, still they say its because of the outstanding bill. When this was the reason then why does it not show in the app.
                                They are simply making fool to customers and charging money illegaly.

                                  On 18 th april 2019, i booked a uber taxi from old palam road t to igi airport terminal-2 from my mobile uber app.

                                  Initially, a bill of ₹193/- was shown.

                                  When, i reached my destination the fare was changed to 340/-.

                                  The reason on change of fare after hiring is not being understood.

                                  I would like know the reason for the hike and the excess amount may be refunded...

                                    Dear sir,

                                    On 4th april 2019, i booked a uber taxi from delhi international airport to hotel fortune - noida sector 27 from my mobile uber app.

                                    I received an estimated bill of ₹658/-

                                    I reached my destination at 10.52 pm. (Uber taxi - dl 1rtb 4203 driver name - mr. Amit)

                                    The driver showed me my trip bill on his mobile green screen ₹1227/- for my last ride from delhi airport to hotel fortune noida sector 27.
                                    I showed him estimated bill on my mobile - ₹658/-

                                    On that he replied airport authority has increased toll tax of ₹450/- is include in your bill and we have taken the fastest route.
                                    I told him i didn't receive mail from uber for a high amount of payment on which he replied may be due to the network you haven't received an email. Will get a mail within 10 -15 minutes its a normal practice.

                                    As soon as i check in in the hotel and received an email receipt of ₹406/- (Against my estimated bill of ₹658/-) for my ride from delhi airport to hotel fortune noida sector 27. I got shocked, immediately i wrote an email to lodge a complaint, unfortunately, no satisfactory action has been taken from uber officials.

                                    Again i wrote request email to share contact details of the driver so that i can follow up with him and ask him to pay ₹821/- extra collected from me. Unfortunately received an email from uber saying it is against uber policy to share driver partners contact details.

                                    Sir,
                                    My question is how the driver showed me my trip bill on his mobile green screen ₹1227/-?

                                    Request you to kindly look into the matter and take strict action against the driver who spoils uber image.

                                    We trust for uber and hire a taxi. Such incidents reflect on uber trust.

                                    Kindly penalize driver and arranges to pay my extra money rs.821/- collected by the driver. Which is my harder money?

                                    I wrote an email to mr. Jain - president - uber india on 8th apri 2019 and reminder on 13th apri 2019. Till date no reply received.

                                    Sir,

                                    Kindly looks into the matter and give me proper justice.

                                      At the time I scheduled a ride through Ubergo on 18th April it showed the fare to be between Rs. 90-106 but at the time I reached the destination I was charged Rs.183. It is highly regretful that Uber has too started such unfair practices and overcharging consumers. Please find the details of the trip in the screenshot attached. Just for ensuring higher profits for their stakeholders these companies can resort to such unfair means and leave their customers frustrated.

                                        Uber has been threatening with emails to deactivate my uber account so that i will no longer be able to avail their services.

                                        Uber has no right to threaten customers with deactivation as a retaliatory measures for protesting against poor service.
                                        Very often the drivers are i'll behaved, do not provide service expected.
                                        Nobody who provides public service can penalize customers for their opinion.
                                        They have extremely poor service and exorbitant rates. But the customer in times of emergency still utilize this service.
