Worst ever experience with uber. Booked cab for the 1st time in bangalore and they charged rs. 550 above the expected bill. They did not generate the receipt and not even sent any email after the trip. It was clearly shown in the app that it was my 1st ride, still they say its because of the outstanding bill. When this was the reason then why does it not show in the app.
They are simply making fool to customers and charging money illegaly.

    Sir,

    On 18 th april 2019, i booked a uber taxi from old palam road t to igi airport terminal-2 from my mobile uber app.

    Initially, a bill of ₹193/- was shown.

    When, i reached my destination the fare was changed to 340/-.

    The reason on change of fare after hiring is not being understood.

    I would like know the reason for the hike and the excess amount may be refunded...

      Dear sir,

      On 4th april 2019, i booked a uber taxi from delhi international airport to hotel fortune - noida sector 27 from my mobile uber app.

      I received an estimated bill of ₹658/-

      I reached my destination at 10.52 pm. (Uber taxi - dl 1rtb 4203 driver name - mr. Amit)

      The driver showed me my trip bill on his mobile green screen ₹1227/- for my last ride from delhi airport to hotel fortune noida sector 27.
      I showed him estimated bill on my mobile - ₹658/-

      On that he replied airport authority has increased toll tax of ₹450/- is include in your bill and we have taken the fastest route.
      I told him i didn't receive mail from uber for a high amount of payment on which he replied may be due to the network you haven't received an email. Will get a mail within 10 -15 minutes its a normal practice.

      As soon as i check in in the hotel and received an email receipt of ₹406/- (Against my estimated bill of ₹658/-) for my ride from delhi airport to hotel fortune noida sector 27. I got shocked, immediately i wrote an email to lodge a complaint, unfortunately, no satisfactory action has been taken from uber officials.

      Again i wrote request email to share contact details of the driver so that i can follow up with him and ask him to pay ₹821/- extra collected from me. Unfortunately received an email from uber saying it is against uber policy to share driver partners contact details.

      Sir,
      My question is how the driver showed me my trip bill on his mobile green screen ₹1227/-?

      Request you to kindly look into the matter and take strict action against the driver who spoils uber image.

      We trust for uber and hire a taxi. Such incidents reflect on uber trust.

      Kindly penalize driver and arranges to pay my extra money rs.821/- collected by the driver. Which is my harder money?

      I wrote an email to mr. Jain - president - uber india on 8th apri 2019 and reminder on 13th apri 2019. Till date no reply received.

      Kindly looks into the matter and give me proper justice.

        At the time I scheduled a ride through Ubergo on 18th April it showed the fare to be between Rs. 90-106 but at the time I reached the destination I was charged Rs.183. It is highly regretful that Uber has too started such unfair practices and overcharging consumers. Please find the details of the trip in the screenshot attached. Just for ensuring higher profits for their stakeholders these companies can resort to such unfair means and leave their customers frustrated.

          Uber has been threatening with emails to deactivate my uber account so that i will no longer be able to avail their services.

          Uber has no right to threaten customers with deactivation as a retaliatory measures for protesting against poor service.
          Very often the drivers are i'll behaved, do not provide service expected.
          Nobody who provides public service can penalize customers for their opinion.
          They have extremely poor service and exorbitant rates. But the customer in times of emergency still utilize this service.

            On 16 apr 2019, at 7:13 pm, i hired an uber cab license plate: hr74b7577, driver name: kadir from omax celebration mall, sohna road, gurugram, haryana-122028 to block h, h3/6, sector26, gurugram, haryana 122022. When the trip was completed at 07:51pm, i paid the driver by cash ₹265 (Actual fare 263.38) and got down from the cab. After the cab left, i received communication from uber that the amount of ₹263.38 is unpaid. Company should take action against the cab driver and confirm about my payment.

            Sir these uber India drivers are a big cheats. I am facing same problem. This company has no sense of responsibility and a little concern for their customers.

              I was shown 400 rs while booking a ride from delhi t2 airport to dwarka, but instead they have charged me 693 which is way too high. I would have booked delhi police taxi instead of this. This is complete fraud. The ride was way too high and there is no solution available on app. This is completely duping a customer and not even resolving it. On this trip i am charged 493 as toll surcharge fee which is completely nonsense. My contact number is [protected]. I need an answer and solution for this. I have taken this trip on 17/04/2019 at around 1:20 am from delhi t 2 airport

                I have sent amount of rs. 10, 000 to uber india ([protected]@axisbank) account through upi from my upi id [protected]@paytm by mistake.
                I needed to send this amount to some other account but unfortunately, due to my app issue it is transferred to uber india account. It is debited from bank account and transaction was successful. I have checked with bank also and they said that transaction was completely successful.
                I was keep following up with uber but they are not resolving my query. Today they have called me and said that they can't see any transaction in their statement, so they can't refund. How is it possible that the same transaction is showing in my bank statement and not showing in their statement. It is a big amount for me and i want my money back.
                They are refusing to refund my money. This is the new way of earning by doing fraud.

                Uber are doing fraud and i would not let that happened.

                  On 10th april -19 i have booked uber auto. But driver did not come to pick me and started trip and amount also deducted from my paytm account. Then i have booked a auto again from same pick up point and that trip successfully completed also. Then i have raise complain against old one trip and asked uber to refund my money back. But i got revert from uber that i have completed trip. How can i completed 2 trip with in 10 min from same pick up point. I have screenshot also. Pls refer the attached screenshot. Now from uber nobody is reverting. This is 2nd time happend when uber is not resolving my issue. Last time also u have sent approx 10 mails but no response and i lost my money

                    I booked a cab from my pick up location and half way realized location has issue which i entered. Generally location i entered was the usual one i was using to get my home but this time google was showing that location somewhere else. I change my location from the app that time driver stopped the car and start fighting with me regarding the location change i made. I asked him to drop me to correct location so he ended up the trip and get down from the car with the intention of assault and tried to get me out of car. Driver name is kiran kumar bn.

                    Highly unprofessional ... I didn’t recive my order and as it was from paytm so my all money got wasted ... they deliver my order in wrong address and when i talked to customer care that lady told me to pick up that my order by my own ... this company only loot people...

                      Today after i tried to login to uber eats and was logged out. When i tried to login with my pohone number, it failed with error "this mobile number is not recognised by uber."!!!

                      When i tried my uber ride account, the same happened and i am blocked from logging into my uber account.

                      I raised a complaint from uber support page as in i am not able to login to my uber account. This was all around 12 noon on 14th april 2019 (Today).

                      At around 7:21 pm ist i received a transaction confirmation message from my debit card. The message goes like this
                      "alert: you've spent rs. 3508.79 via debit card xx4233 at uber trip vgxft help. Uber on[protected]:19:21:06"

                      I contacted by bank and blocked my debit card permanently, went to the nearest police station and registered a fir. Filled the cdf form and filled it and will be sending it to the bank.

                      A while later, a upi authorisation request came on my phonepe account, which i could luckily decline the upi is safer. Needless to say, this was also from uber at[protected]:21:41:00 and the message goes like this
                      "uber india systems pvt ltd has requested you on phonepe. Rs.2547.5 will be debited from your account on approving the request"

                      Just after 5 minutes of the above transaction, i received another transaction confirmation alert from my bank, this time is was on a linked credit card to the uber account. I immediately called the bank to permanently block this card and took down the complaint number. Will be filling up the cdf form and sent email. The message goes like this;
                      "alert: you've spent rs. 2563.33 on credit card xx7193 at uber trip xgyzk help. Uber on[protected]:21:48:15"

                      While i was writing this complaint, another upi transaction request came on g-pay which i can't cancel but ignore. The fraudster is desperate to try all the payment methods i have linked to my account.

                      All of this could happen due to the lack of security being provided by uber as the associated phone number and email address was modified without intimation. The fraudster used the linked payment methods to make unauthorised purchases/payments.

                      Since there is no uber helpline or hotline, the fraudster was able to continue to make unauthorised transactions even after blocking a card. If this is not me alone then the magnitude of the fraud will be huge in the coming days. Uber need to come up with the details of how was this allowed and what are the measure they are planning to take to avoid this as well as many other challenges.

                        I had booked uber from hitech city to lb nagar just drop by non-sedan car.
                        The fare provided to us was between 600 to 800 inr, so we were two ladies decided to go ahead.
                        On reaching the spot the uber driver asked for 2450/- as fees. But the same was not shown on his screen and neither on our screen.
                        It was 7 p. M. And no traffic at all from orr exit 3 route. He was rude and firm stating that the rate was 6 times.
                        How this calculation worked out, we paid the money to avoid an argument. But this is pure looting business in form of goon.
                        If we take a sedan also it will not cost this amount.
                        Horrible driver and service.
                        They will never refund nor adhere to the complaint for sure. Worst service.

                          This has been for the last t5-6 trips that i have been observing that the uber final fare is almost double the one it reflects before selecting cab. Moreover, the when using uber pool drivers do keep wasting time in searching for the riders not coming on location what they have shared.
                          Th cab drivers do cancel a trip on their own and many times refuses to take after booking to places which they don't want to.

                            When a male person are in delay of 1 mins then they are cancelled the uber cab and deduct the 42 rs in your account but monika from arjun nagar ghaziabad are always late but uber not taking any action against them and even they are least bothered to other passengers time, such kind of service not expected to uber.

                            Such a incident has already happened 3-4 times but observed that uber is least interested to take any decision for the same, if you are not be able to maintain the service then stop.

                            Request you again pls support to your daily co-passengers.

                              I have suddenly been charged for an outstanding bill of thb 45 which has been showing against my account since jun' 2015. I booked a car in bangkok, thailand in 2015 and since the driver failed to pick me up, the trip was cancelled. I took up the matter up to your customer care after returning to india and i was assured that the outstanding has been nullified and i won't have to pay this.
                              But suddenly after four years, i find my credit card statement has debit transaction of thb 45 against my uber travel dated 05 apr'2019. Please refund and make good the dispute.

                                On 10th april 2019 we landed at banglore airport we was to proceed for mysore as usual i from my mobile no [protected] booked a intercity taxi with fare of rs 2504 and taxi with regt no. Ka 04 aa 2851 with driver name nagarjuna g came to us. Condition of tax was very bad and even front seat belt, back hand handle above seat etc were broken. Behaviour of driver since beginning was not pleasant. Anyhow we started at 12.15 innight (0, 15 of 11th april 2019) and reached to kings kouet hotel of mysore at around 4.00 (Morning) 0f 11th april 2019 as soon as we reached destination taxi driver demanded from usrs 3660 and told that 2504 was minimum fare. When i tried to saw fare from my mobile there was no fare reflecting as with intention he does not mark trip completed and told to us what can he do if our mobile is not showing rs 3660 he behaved arrogantly and took from us rs 3660 we obtained a receipt from him and felt bad from this incidence also gave a mental torture to us

                                Firstly auto search takes lot of time and after long searching auto is not available... During rush hour to office spending 10 mins on auto search is totally unacceptable... Also very rarely I get successful search in peak hours

                                  I took uber hire go service. They charged double than usual fare. And uber hire go service is for disposal and multiple meetings. I hired uber hire go so that can take facility and drop my family member to one location and reach my destination. The driver declined that service and no action taken by uber while complaint. And driver took toll fee forcibly, while it remains included in there fare.

                                    A driver who is rude on call. A driver who wastes my time and does not move towards the pickup point and doesn't even cancel the trip and wants to know what my drop location is. If i have time, i can play this game and not cancel either but at times i do have to cancel. Uber doesn't have any way to address this grievance because i am not allowed to register my grievance against such a driver. Apparently, wasted time is no big deal for uber. Probably it works for uber because of the times this happens when the ride is booked with no surcharge and when i book after canceling, i charges have suddenly gone up, a lot of times within a few seconds. Since the driver's are able to see if the ride has been booked with or without surcharge, i think they do it more when it is booked without surcharge.
                                    So my issues with uber:

                                    Why is there no way of registering a complaint against a driver who was given my booking but who harassed me and wasted my time, called to ask me what my destination was and took a long time so that i cancel.

                                    Why are the charges changing so rapidly and randomly, motivating the drivers to harass the passengers when trip is booked without no surcharge so that after the passenger cancels the very next ride might be at a higher cost.

                                      I booked a cab from uber app from manikonda to mind space on nov 12 2018. But the driver neither turn up or cancelled the trip. So it is showing in pending payments that i need to pay 255/- in receipt. Please verify and cancel the trip.

                                      Time : 9:18am.
                                      Driver name : naga mallesh.
                                      From address : kpr colony, manikonda. To address : building 1 raheja it park.

                                        I had taken a trip from miraroad to jogeshwari west on 9 april 2019, at 1:36pm.

                                        On reaching the desitinatio, i had paid the driver 300₹ (Trip charge was ₹290). When i did not receive a message from uber syaing the trip was paid for, i asked the driver and he said that tgere was issue with his phone and hence was not able do it, but assured me that it will be done.

                                        Same night i wanted to book an uber back to mira toad, the app would not allow me as it says there is a pending charge!!! How
                                        Can it be pending, when i have paid cash for it???!

                                        Please assisit in resolving this asap
