I booked a ride from metro station sector21 dwarka to kadian education institute d - block.
Then when i called the driver to ask where he was he asked me where i have to go as soon as i said that i have to go to palam vihar first he didn't say anything. Then the driver cancelled the ride and then when we again tried to book the ride then it showed that first we have to pay ₹42 then only we can book our rides further. This is a request that please refund those ₹42 as the driver had cancelled the ride. It was booked from the no. [protected] by the name aradhana parmar.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Could not contact customer services for food related order in uber eat.
If restaurant cancelled the order they wont pay anything as compensation for customer but if customer cancelled order due to payment issue in app, uber eat charges full amount of ordered payment as compensation.

    On 16th aoril i had booked your cab at sahar international airport and was allotted a vehicle. The app indicated that in 2 minutes the taxi would arrive, however, as there was no sign of the cab, i tried calling the driver. The first time the phone was just ringing and went unanswered for 5 minutes. I then called again only to find that the driver's phone was switched off. After waiting for 15 minutes, i had no option but to cancel the booking.
    I had on 18th april sent a email informing me about the same and was informed that the amount of rs. 47.25 charged would be credited to me.
    I find that till date the amount is shown as due from me and as a result i am unable to make any bookings.
    Kindly revert back on the same else i would delete the app.

      Hello,

      I was travelling to india in the november 2018 and my experience wasn’t good taking the taxi with uber and ola during my stay. This is the reason i am writing to you with a belief that some action/ training will be provided to the drivers.

      It has apparently become a usual practice for taxi drivers to take by-lanes, side lanes and takes routes other than main routes in banglore which is very frustrating. I know the traffic is horrendous in banglore but it is better to get stuck in the traffic than being alone and into some untoward or unsafe situations. Moreover when the customer asked to take main roads these drivers still take by/lanes and get rude. We are left with no choice in such roads to continue the journey than getting off somewhere in rural areas. I was nearly about to miss my flight to london and was very scared to travel on those routes which the taxi driver took bylane in rural remote villages to enter or exit into bangalore city from and to bangalore airport.

      It’s just very unsafe for women, single ladies or even family to be driven through such routes were there is every possibility of crimes. Apparently, my local friends said that there have been cases of robery in those routes.

      Moreover, the reason why these taxi driver take these routes from little remote rural villages and side/ back routes is to avoid airport toll. As a passenger we pay the amount that is due including toll and in return passengers safety and reliability is taxi companies responsibility. Perhaps local govt and airport authorities to make more strict rules so drivers have no choice than to take main roads from and to airport. All other routes should be ceased towards and from airport.
      I have been travelling over the world and taken uber in uk and america too and no where we find such dirty unmanaged cars which are not even maintained in good condition. Neither the drivers put the ac no matter how many times we ask for perhaps to save fuel charges and tell their customers that the ac isn’t working. Which is a common excuse these days with uber/ ola cabs. Can you please relay this information to these local cab companies that when we passengers pay the charges that incurs, why can’t passenger get the good quality of service and safety.

      Kindly please ensure this is disseminated across all hyderabad/ bangalore branches particularly. Please ensure to update your drivers not to take such back/side routes from little remote dangerous routes just to avoid paying airport toll fees by putting passengers in very unsafe situations. I have approached uber likewise, ola cabs and airport authority.

      Please kindly follow up on my complaint. I am going to travel to india again in dec 2018 until jan and hope this upcoming travel experience is better/safe than previous.

        I am sushil desai from pune, i had ride through uber on dated 13th dec 2018 from home (Spine road) to sainath hospital (See attachment for refrence) and they would charged fare by me of rs.135.47. I made payment to uber driver (Driver name - ram, license plate: mh12pq9434) by cash. When i ride again through uber (Driver name - rajesh, license plate: mh12kn7816) from sainath hospital to home (Spine road) they would charged fare by me of rs.74.81 plus balance from previous trip of rs.135.47 total i had made payment to driver of rs. 210.28 (Driver name - rajesh, license plate: mh12kn7816) here i have already paid balance trip fare to driver. So here i paid extra amount to you.
        So please take corrective action on it and bring back to money my uber account ([protected])

          I was riding uber cab today 13/12/2018 in bangalore boarded cab at 10:26pm global village kengeri bangalore 59 and got down at 10:49pm srinivasnagara bangalore 50 unfortunately while giving cash i for cab driver devaraja hadagali with license plate: ka05ad6889 i forgot my mobile in cab and when i realized that i forgot my mobile within 2 minutes the cab was moved, i called my mobile number multiple times it was ringing and after 10 minutes of ringing it was disconnected on this location https://goo.gl/maps/FBjWKyoT4H12 (Which i traced after few hours of switched off.
          I somehow logged in to my uber login portal and raised a complaint immediately also i called the driver through uber portal but after saying him about my trip and loss of my phone in his cab he immediately said "hello hello and disconnected the phone" and when reached him again he is disconnecting our calls.

          I have raised multiple complaints to uber but till now no response i dont know what type of service are they providing when they dont have a proper customer care. I am registering this complaint on this forum to at least i could get a immediate response from uber.

            I boo UBER cab form Choodasandra to Yashwant pur railway station on 08 Dec 2018 at 12.00 Hrs. on Nice road toll booth I paid Rs 180.00 to toll booth as per driver direction.. After finish my ride I paid Rs 1039.00 as per bill . Bill receipt
            I received after few minutes . when I check toll tax also add in my bill .Double toll tax drown by Uber from me . Many time I wrote to Uber cab but they are not given positive ripely to me .

              On 8th december, i had booked a auto from kba to cubbon road while waiting in the road itself. The entire road is visible for all traffic movement. The auto no. Is ends with 6181. (My no.[protected]). The map was showing driver reports in 4 minutes time. The driver never reported and cancelled the trip. When i booked again, the app was requesting for additional payment of rs.20 for to be paid to next cab. I accepted it (No option but to accept) and again same auto appeared and picked up. I feel the auto driver would have played mischief to get additional rs.20/- for short distance travel. I had told him also about this. He did not report in the first instance and reported when booked for second time and took rs.60/- for the travel. I think this is fraud and organised crime by auto drivers. Please refund rs..20/- in my next trip whenever booked.

                I had left 2 bags and the items are worth more than rs10, 000 in the back seat of the car.
                I got into the cab (Toyota etios) from kempegowda bangalore airport on 11th december around 7.45 pm. When i reached home the driver hurried me and took off the car quickly. I took all my luggage except these 2 bags.
                Once i realised after sometime, i immediately called the driver using uber contact (Uber connects the call to the driver), he picked up and acknowledged that there 2 bags with items. He promised that he will give back the bags on 12th december (Which never happened).
                I called again on 12th december (After numerous attempts) he said by evening he will give.
                I also gave the description and details to uber, but no response from uber yet.
                I am surprised that uber is not responding as well.

                  This incident happened on 29.11.2018. I booked uber cab from mumbai domestic airport for my home (Thane) at around 5.30pm. After booking was done it was cancelled by the driver. I again booked a cab, this time the cab came. I loaded my luggage and was about to sit in the cab when the driver just said that he is cancelling the ride. He said it very casually and didn't give any proper reason. He just unloaded my luggage and left. Now when i check the app it shows that i have some amount pending to pay for the cancelled ride!
                  Dear uber team if you are not capable of handling service at peak hours or maybe to some destination then please specify it before booking, unnecessarily don't waste people's time. Because of your pathetic service i had to stand at airport for more than an hour with my family.
                  Needless to say that i am not going to use your service again and will advice the same to my family and friends.

                    I travelled in Uber on 11.12.20180evening at 11pm and I have selected the payment method Paytm but the driver said trip completed but driver said that the payment not happened from Paytm so you have to do the payment of Rs:141/- so I paid when the timw of completing my trip but the amount of this trip which is 195.59 has already deducted from my account I requested the driver to return my cash but he is not doing it kindly return my amount other wise I am going to put this is into nodal forum.

                      Date of issue: 12/12/2018
                      Issue 1: the trip got automatically cancelled before reaching the destination.
                      Issue 2: the receipt shows the amount as 1706, however i had to pay 2157.
                      Issue 3: now when i'm trying to book another cab, it says i have a previous due of 451.

                      Need this corrected and have the amount refund to my account

                      Uber prices are sham. They overcharge for Uber pool as well as Uber go. For 5 km in Uber pool they show prices from 150-200 . Such a sham and loot

                        I happened to take a trip from uber india from bangalore airport to jp nagar. And i got a bill of 1018.00 rs and i made payment of 1018.00 from my debit card. Surprisingly i was asked make payment again with uber even though my bank statement has confirmed money got transferred to uber account.

                        For 2-3 weeks they kept on saying it was payment gateway error and they can't do any thing, and with out confirming if issue was resolved they kept on forcefully closing tickets (Height of professionalism i guess). After almost a month they confessed that it was any issue with uber and wrongly the payment status was updated.

                        I was relived finally that uber has understood their mistake, but they wanted to take things even further. They have issues a credit of 1018.00 to my uber account and asked me to pay again for 1018.00.

                        Which is really disturning, what makes them think that even after this terrible experience i will still go and use their service worth of 1018.00? Even if i do how they can force customer to use their service for customer's money? Is this how uber make sure customer's will not use competition and stick to their service?

                          I made a trip from santhosapuram, vengaivasal to happinest appartments avadi in tata zest on 16/11/2018. I paid the amount to the driver in cash at the end of the trip. The driver had some net problem. Now i’ve been charged with a fine of 359 with my next trip. I feel this is unfair. Please sort out this problem as soon as possible. I am logging my complaint for the 3rd time.. Still no steps have been taken. I am a regular customer o[censored]ber kindly please sort this issue

                              This happened on 10th december 2018. It had been a long time since i ordered from uber eats and after hearing my friends's glowing recommendation, i decided to try it once more for ordering milkshakes. I noticed an offer was going on and hence placed my order. But to my shock, an amount of 115.6 rs was deducted (Being mentioned as outstanding balance). I thought that that must have been the case and since i was in a hurry i paid outstanding amount and placed the order (Making the payment for the order separately of 112 rs). The shock came when i went back and checked my paytm account regarding my previous order from uber eats. Since i use paytm for almost all my transactions, it was quite easy to track. I found that the previous outstanding amount, was indeed a false claims on the part o[censored]ber as the payment had been made in full. Ever since i have sent a complaint to uber and paytm asking for support regarding the same. I got the response from paytm almost within 5-10min... However uber team have yet to respond. I have sent them the screenshot of both the transactions, yet i haven't even been offered any explanation as to why the amount not 115 was deducted from my account.

                              To make everything worse... I haven't received any receipt from uber guys, with the invoice for the outstanding payment...

                              So i would like to ask you guys this...

                              Is this the way you do business??
                              By swindling people??

                              I have tried to reach out to them a couple of times already to no avail and as such am left optioneless but to post here...

                              Kindly help me sort out this issue..

                                Aftet booking the cab, the drivers called and enquire about the payment is in cash or card. When it is card payment suddently the driver cancelling the trip. It is giving very much trouble to the passengers. Kindly look into the matter and do needful. This issue was frequently happened.

                                  Uber driver stolen my mobile phone ..photographs of ride receipt are attached with this complaint including driver details and taxi number... Booked uber taxi on 08 12 2018 at morning from my registered phone number i. E.[[protected]] with uber from mina international hotel sv road, jogeshweri west to domestic airport mumbai around 6:15 am. When i reached airport, taxi driver fled away with my phone and i was already late for my flight to delhi so i didnt get the time to make any proper approach... My mobile phone is of blue colour motorola made model type moto g5s... Pls help.. There are some important data and card details in that phone... Pls contact me at this number i.                                     On 29th april, we used uber for a trip from thiruvottiyur chennai to guduvancherry chennai and on 30th april we used uber for a return trip - guduvancherry to thiruvottiyur.

                                    Both the trips had toll plazas, but since we had a special permit ticket with us, no toll was paid during the trips. But the uber receipt included a toll fare of rs. 40 and rs. 63 respectively.

                                    Inspite of writing to uber multiple times on this, i have not got a valid answer. It is too to be charged a fee which was not paid at all

                                      While i have booked uber cab dt.09.12.18 then charges is 179. Rs but finally with pointed location taken 258rs. I had used a cab today morning with same pointed locations fare charges is ok then why already booked cab charges vary by your side without any prior intimatation this is not fare every time customer suffer with extra charges.                                         Since past 3 years my uber account is blocked even after submitting request many times to uber no action has been taken from their side. They just email me that they will get back soon but most of time they dont and sometimes they just reply back that my account is blocked for suspicious activity and i should wait till the issue is resolved. Now its been 3 years still im blocked.
