Hello

I want to report lack of service and data theft not being investigated properly by uber, my uber account has been hacked and it has my cards linked to it. The abuser has removed my phone number and has changed the password as well.
Thereafter the rides are being performed and uber is not stopping or blocking the account, even though i am complaining the matter repeatedly

    This is veeran parasuraman,

    Today i took uber ride (30 dec 18) around 12.10 pm from "apparajita apartments ags colony, velachery to st luke's church anna nagar", booked through app registered with "[protected]" and the vehicle"xylo" i don't remember the vehicle number. I left my mobile in the cab itself, once i recognized i try to catch him back but he gone is way. I totally blind now because all the uber details kept in the mob. Even i could not conduct to the driver.
    I tried to get the customer care number but it won't work anyway. Tired to log in with another mob to raise a complaint, it requires the otp i could not get it becuase its gone with my mobile.
    Please help me to get back my mobile from the cab / driver.

    just i remember the driver address "No 82, karunanidhi street, Alandur". Based on this am going to make a police compliant.

      I have taken a cab today morning and the fare it showed was 216 including toll and all, i choose cash mode, the driver took some different path and now 105 extra was added, i asked him, he told it's uber charges, i paid him 320 cash and then filed a complain in uber app, after arguing they refunded 105 as uber credit so they have good practice, take cash and give credit, make sure the next time you travel keep 50 percent extra cash, fare can increase anytime without any reason.

        Uber is strange, and unprofessional. I have taken around 50 rides so far but have never been comfortable making payments only because uber app doesnt work. I have used the same credit card all along, but uber finds a problem with this card. The same card whcih i have been using for over 5 years, paying a good sum each month, and i have a cibil score of over 850/900, ever since cibil was invented. But uber continues to insist that my credit card is faulty. Theyhave inefficient personnel hiding behind walls, whom i cannot talk to or email to. No payment option comes on their app or even while logging into my account through my laptop. Why cannot uber have payment options on all possible platforms so that willing customers like me, can pay up. Uber has asked me to uninstall and re-install their app on my mobile at least on 5 occasions, which i have done. Unfortunately the payment option does not pop up as claimed by uber. Why does only uber have this problem, when ola is super smooth with the same credit card of mine?? Will the incompetent uber wake up, pls?

          Is you are replying from a non technical perspective, the transation id was generated from your server, then handshaken with visa and then the confirming interalia bank or credit card service provider then your taxi was relayed as a 4th step and the ride initiated, your american server has not been updated with the necessary payment received details in cash as well as the credit servie proiced to you by visa card and a third amt was paid to your amerian website as no indian help was available or support a year and half back, now you are asking me to furnish a fourth time how can i be sure your server will get updated manually or automatically, your people keep asking for a screen shot which they dont know what it should contain but should appear like something with a tranasaction which your system generated and not my bank or visa or servie provider, please ask your server techinical team withe checksum parameters and account updates between the books of accounts held bewteen your servers from july 2017 to decemeber 2017, i have made the necessary payments and over and above a charity to uber on two counts, your servers and lack of service has created this error and made to look us indians bad in your books is malice which needs to be reported to the administrative forums and cosumer courts, i have been repeatedly asking u to provide me the said details for the same, on the second instance when your driver didnt arrive in time to my destination u have still charged me ruthlessly for lack of your services. Please get of india and stop your services and cheating indian people. Your are not issuing requisite receipts and how to do you verify a customer paying cash. All your support is vague, ola has been giving me good service. Even your uber eats which is different entity has not delivered me foof by victimizing me as for overdue payment which is not reflected in your systems. Please leave india, our engineers like ola can deliver better and resolve things on time. You may have cheated so many other indians in the same way. Leave india

            I am a constant and loyal user o[censored]ber. I have been availing of its services almost continuously for the last 5 months since y accident in june 2018. Hae got used to uber services. I use ride cards mainly for ubergo. But i notice that over the last few months the base rate has gone up from ₹ 89 to ₹109 and today to ₹139. This is unfair and discouraging. Since the distances involved in my case are moderate the base rate policy works against my interest. You please reduce the base rate to original.

              Uber intercity is the worst possible service they have offered. First of all there is no customer service that can be contact while you are travelling or contact numbers for later. So I booked a intercity from Pune to Mumbai on 25th December around 4pm from the beginning of the trip the driver started throwing tantrums why did you add a stop to the trip, why is your added stop so far away such things which I avoided and choose not to answer....

              On 14 december 2018 we called an uber taxi to take us to the netaji subhash chandra bose airport, kolkata from dl block, sector 2, salt lake, kolkata 700091. The taxi came on time at 0710, and we left for the airport at 0715 and reached the airport just before 0800. The fare was rs254, and i gave rs300 to the driver, named santosh, and asked to a refund me rs45. Santosh took the money and went back to the car, i thought, to bring the change. Instead he drove away fast without giving me the change. I shouted at the taxi, but of no use.
              We have been using uber taxi over a month while in kolkata, but have not seen any such dishonest and unfriendly driver.
              I am not worried about the change, but about such a dishonest driver in the uber fleet.in future i have to be more careful and cautious with an uber taxi/driver if i call a uber taxi. Such behavior of a driver of a reputed company is not acceptable.
              Sorry, i do not have the reg. No. Of the taxi. With the driver's name, the time, pickup point and destination you should be able to pin point the driver and taxi.
              I like to know what action you are going to take against such dishonest driver in your fleet.

                Uber charged my paytm account for an order and has neither processed the order nor transferred it back. Reached out to support multiple times to no avail.

                They keep coming back with the something completely different. I even tried reaching out to paytm support and i haven’t heard from them either. Now they aren’t even letting me book any cabs

                  Recently on 15th of december 2018, i had booked a uber cab to go to a friend's birthday party. It was in the evening and on reaching the destination the fare was inr 357/-. I had some balance amount of around inr 2000/- in the uber app installed in my mobile phone. On reaching the destination, the money should have been deducted from the balance amount which is there in the uber app. I told the uber driver to wait for some times so that money is paid from my balance amount which was showing in my mobile. The uber driver and i kept on waiting for 10 minutes and the money was not from my balance in the uber app. Then the driver told me he cant keep on waiting like that and that i have to pay in cash. I paid the amount in cash to the driver. Later on after waiting for another 10 minutes when i checked the uber balance in my uber app i found that inr 357/- was deducted from the uber balance. All total i had to pay uber inr (357 + 357 = 714). When i raised a concern regarding this issue to uber through the uber app they are reluctant to help me. They are now telling me that they are not paying me the extra amount which i paid to uber.
                  I request in this forum to help me so that this grievance of mine is addressed.

                  At about 1730 hrs from Bangaluru airport a cab driver took the pin from customer and did not pick the passanger who gave the pin, however went away with another passenger

                  This is shiva leela ([protected]) today Tuesday[protected] i have traveled from MIG to Mindspace with driver Sheker (Uber) ([protected]) in rush i didnt recognized that i have applief through paytm and i have paid cash 250rs but from my paytm i have deducted 180 rs again kindly flowup and give my money 250 back

                    We took a cab no: ts 05ua0780 on december 18th.in hyderabad. Cab pick up time 06:42 pm and closing time 07:56 pm at doctors colony road, madhapur.

                    We left i phone in the car. We could not able to contact driver and tried to contact uber office. Not getting proper support from uber

                    Uber being a multination company, we never expect such low profile responce.

                    Please send driver no and contact address. Or else please talk to driver and reply with detaisl. We request you to collect our phone and inform me at

                      At the noida city centre metro station and uber driver driving a wagon r white colour with registration number up 14 ft 4965 applied a sudden brake and rammed into my maruti baleno destroying the front corner right hand please contact back for compensation.
                      We asked the driver to stop and resolve but he refused to stop. It will cost us at least rs 5000 to fix this.

                        Please note that i booked premium taxi on 19/12/2018 from international airport to vasant lawns.

                        The same was cancelled as driver shubhan telephoned me that his car tyre is punctured so he cannot come.

                        Due to this i had to book other taxi. As taxi could not be booked without cancelling previous taxi. Lot of time

                        Was wasted in this process.

                        I request to give back cancellation charges

                          Uber has disabled my account without any prior notification or reason, when i write into them they say that the system has blocked me because i have flouted some terms and conditions which when i ask what they have no answer except that they have addressed my concern. I have been with uber for 2 years with over 500 rides, supervisors called me two weeks back telling me how much they appreciate me being with them however i dont appreciate the way am being treated now. They say there is an outstanding payment on the acct, i have agreed to make the payment however i do not get the option to pay, their technical team cannot figure out what is wrong and are ignoring my concern. I don't like taking ola because they go around and around in circles, a company like this cannot dismiss someone without any good reason.

                            Now a days, uber is always overpriced and they charge atleast 3 to 4 times. Even if cabs are available, they would show that due to high demand fares are higher. They hide behind fake mask o[censored]navailability of cabs and charge three to four times with no upper limit to prices. Initially they offered cabs at nominal prices to capture market. Now that they have done that, they are over charging. There should be an upper limit to price.

                              Booked UBER CAB yesterday at 11.22 am from sector 20-A, Chandigarh to Sector-30A, Chandigarh. Contacted Driver-Sh. Sulakhan to share my pick up location. After some time he started the trip without me (I am not incide the car). Contacted him again.He said that he is coming. He Kept me in dark completely. So I didn't cancel my trip. But in the end, the said drive ended the trip.
                              My money was also deducted.
                              Kindly resolve this issue and refund my money i.e. 48.31 at the earliest and take strict action against the said Driver.

My account is deactivated by you un-neccesarly and without any valid reason.in 10 days how can u judge me that i m fraud. Your seva kendra executive tell me stupid reason for my deactivation.                                   I have paid the bill for my last trip via cash.
                                  But it is showing that i haven't paid the bill.
                                  I think driver has done something. After completing he asked us for fare we have shown him that it is 185 rupees he didn't agreed to it and asked us for more. But we gave him only the original cost i. E.185 rupees. Something fishy is going on.
                                  Due to this i was unable to book a ride and it is showing that to pay the bill. Solve the issue as soon as possible

                                    I travel by uber taxi from choodaman des road yo yashwant our railway station. On 08 dec18 at 12.00 hrs. On nice road toll both driver took rs 280.00 for pay the tool tax. At the railway station yashwantpur. I paid 1039.00 as per bill. I got bill copy after few minute that time driver had goen. Toll tax already include in bill summary. Many time i had wrote to uber but they are not given reply. Take necessery action please.

                                      To whom it may concern,
                                      I had a very bitter experience with uber during this ride. The driver stole my phone, credit card and cash. The very next day i went to uber corporate office located in noida sector 67, seek help from the concerned person (Himakshi). She didnt helped at all. Rather she in[censored]ed me by saying that "being a woman you should take care of your items". She asked me to file a complain with police which i did still i didnt got any resolution. I cannot take it that for good 4 -5 days they were unable to contact the driver. Lastly on conversation with her over the phone she was very very rude and denied to help me find my items. Due to the phone loss, i had to incur a lot of loss as i lost my clients contacts and missed 3 wedding events which i was supposed to manage, all due to the ignorance of the uber employee in noida corporate office. Are you guys going to compensate me for all the losses, mental agony and trauma i had to go through. I will not stop here till i dont get a resolution from uber. I will also write to higher authorities o[censored]ber about this incident
