The uniconnect compwny has the most misinformed and rude staff. I was travelling to the US for work and wanted a bb plan activated on my phone. Apparently in the sales guy mind the plan he sold to me was valid and when i landed in US and saw that it wasn’t working, i called up the customer care staff of Clay. Not only rude, but disconnected the phone on my face. Digusting you guys. Never recommending anyone in my company or otherwise as well to use a uniconnect card

    I had called their support number seeking certain information about their european sim card, what countries i could use it in and what would be the best plan for me. Despite giving them all the information twice, i was asked the third time and from a new sales person. It got so taxing and super irritating dealing with their not so updated systems, that i decided not using their service at all.

      If you ever happen to come across Uniconnect International sim cards, it’s a request, please do not buy their sim cards. After my experience with their using their sim card in UK, I have concluded that carrying my Indian number would have been more reliable if not cheaper. Just to get some cheap deals, I landed up buying their UK sim card which did not work at all. And if you talk about their customer services, they are equally poor and non receptive to user concerns and issues. Really nad experience with these guys.

        I thought carrying a prepaid Uniconnect international sim card would be a good idea but it turned out to be the most stupidest decision. Whats the point of carrying a sim card that doesn’t work. You do whatever, call their customer care or email them at regular intervals, it doesn’t work. I landed up spending twice to get a local sim card for Malaysia and finally used the one that I bought locally from there. Uniconnect was such a fail!

          I frequently fly to China for work and I usually carry my Indian number, but this time I thought o[censored]sing a uniconnect international sim card. I read about their international plans being cheaper and better and according to them convenient as well. So I got myself 2 sim cards from them. It was such a disastrous experience with these guys. Of the 2 sims that I bought, 1 did not register on any network despite several calls to their customer care. The second sim card however worked, but quite erratically. Calls would get dropped mid conversation or the network would be so poor that you could barely understand the person the phone. After spending so much money on it, it turned out to be a total waste and unreliable. I would have rather used my delhi number.

            Uniconnect Sim cards are a useless connection! I went to Europe and used their european sim as I was travelling to many places in Europe and didn’t want to keep multiple sims.. Guys, trust me you never want to go in for Uniconnect Sims. There are better options available there. Out of the 20 days that I was there my connection worked only for 7 and despite so many calls they did nothing about the poor services that they offered at a very expensive price! Very bad and pathetic service.

              Dear Sir/Mam,

              I am writing this complaint to share my horrible experience with your customer care team under Ms. Smruti Poojary based in Andheri, Mumbai.

              I had an extremely simple matter of getting my phone sim recharged with a new plan as my old pack expired. This is a process that typically takes 1-2 minutes if its an Indian sim (be it through paytm or via a recharge shop) and even less if its a local us sim card (t mobile / at & t etc).

              However, with uniconnect i ran into a unique set of problems that has me stranded and waiting for more than 2 hours just to get my pack renewed. I am listing them here with the hope that with all good conscience and a sense of owing some decency and service to its own customers, uniconnect looks into the matter...
              1. The website uniconnect.in makes it very difficult to get a recharge done. Once i select all my details there is no drop down list of possible recharges (19$.29$, 39$) etc. I am supposed to manually fill in the amount and pay. And the prices are in INR not dollars. And that too rounded off, how are customers supposed to remember what plans they want based on what they got many months back? And are we seriously supposed to round off dollars into rupees? (the options are 1000 rs, 2000rs, 3000rs etc).

              2. Even if if select a rounded off figure and fill in the desired amount it tells me to enter a valid number. (which i did enter as valid). Due to all these issues i was forced to connect to customer care.

              3. I spoke your customer care team under Smruti Poojary based in Andheri on 9th March 12.30 am IST. She said me she will forward me a link to where i can make my payment and then have to send a "screenshot" and then "entertain" my request. I never received that mail for 30 mins.

              4. I called them back and suggested they re check my mail id. They did and of course they had misspelled my name. I made them correct it (had to repeat the spellings 4 times). While i was waiting for the mail, they hung up without any warning in 30 seconds flat.

              5. I went to the link and it opened up "THE SAME PAGE" of making a payment online with only options like 1000rs, 2000rs, 3000rs available. I obviously had a doubt of what i should select and so i called them back again. I had to call 3 times, they picked up the 3rd time, said they were busy, took my number and told me they will call back in 5 mins.

              6. I DID NOT receive back a call for 30 mins. I called them back again (by this time i had lost patience --- i am a visiting medical student and sometimes get very important calls from my peers and colleagues which i cannot afford to miss). So i called the team back.

              7. They picked up the 5 th time and told me they would refer me to some one else to "entertain my request". Seriously?? For as simple as a matter as getting my sim recharged? When i asked them i just needed to know what bloody amount i should select -- they were very rude and told me i should know it will be my previous amount only! I asked them how long it will take to get the sim recharged after i pay the amount... They told me to wait, and after 30 seconds HUNG UP.

              Its been 2 hours and i still don't know what to do. It has been a very horrendous experience for me and i am 1000% sure i am not going back for uniconnect. However i write this complaint with the hope that you have the good conscience to investigate the customer care team based under Smruti Poojary in Mumbai and bring to task whoever took calls at 1 am Indian Standard Time on 9th March.
              I hope these is no such harassment to any unfortunate future uniconnect customers.

              P.S - The customer care team also told me i can ONLY go for the same plan as before, which maybe true but which i doubt now.

                Please do not buy uniconnect international sim cards – I used them in Shanghai and it was a total rip off. I got billed around 18, 000/- for 5 days. And now when I am calling them to share with me the soft copy of my bill again nobody seems to address this matter urgently. But when they had to sell their sim card, everything was treated urgently. Such pathetic approach to services is disgusting. I am not even sure if they would refund the excess amount or not, but am sure of one thing, that nobody that I remotely also know will ever use their sim cards again.

                  What they say, is something that they never deliver. I had inquired about a london sim card from uniconnect almost 5 days back and after receiving an email from them that someone would call me and help with a sim card and an appropriate plan as per my usage requirement, nobody did. Infact m flying out today and still nobdy has felt the need to call me to address my inquiry for a sim card. I am glad that i didn’t land up wasting my monies on them. If their pre sales services are such, i wonder how would their actual services be. Good riddance!

                    My family and I went to Dubai for a holiday and my father bought a uniconnect sim card for me and my brother instead o[censored]s using the international roaming on our local numbers. Later we realized that it was bad decision we landed up spending asmuch as we would have on our Indian numbers in Dubai. We were feueling our numbers like crazy. Every 2nd day we were recharging it for 1000 bucks and still would run out with no proof o[censored]sage. And when we asked for proper itemized bill we were refused saying since its prepaid we don’t keep an account of the calls that you make. Ultimately we landed up throwing those sim cards there only.

                      My friend had used a uniconnect sim card for an official trip and he recommended the same to me for my vacation. On his advice I bought their sim card to use in Germany. I bought their 10 Euros 15 day plan. The plan clearly stated that there is no minimum commitment on it. I had some network difficulty while using the number but managed somehow. I came back, returned the simcard and after almost a month I got a bill which had 500 Rs charged under minimum commitment with the rentals and other adhoc charges. My local calls were charged at 0.20 Euros a minute while they said it was 0.14 euro/minute. There were so many mistakes in the bill which seemed on purpose. Initally their support team refused to take back the bill and accept their mistake until I had to email them what was committed against what was charged. These are clearly NO HASSLE FREE services that uniconnect sims is offering. Terrible first and last time experience.

                        Very bad experience o[censored]sing a uniconnect sim card in Dubai. These are super expensive, unlike what they say most of the times. Their network coverage really sucks and if by any chance u need a refund, there is no way that you can get one. 20. Worst possible ever- I would never recommend anyone to use it anywhere even if its offered for free. They have the worst network coverage and the absolutely no support. Its like they’ll sell their services and forget about customer worries and issues.

                          I bought a Canadian sim card from Uniconnect. Biggest mistake ever. I paid almost Rs 5000/- for a sim card that wouldn’t register its network in Calgary. And getthing through their customer care is a painful task. I mean I had a sim that I had bought for calling purposes but landed up only using it on wifi since that’s the best it could connect on. My monies got wasted, no refunds obviously. Never using Uniconnect ever again.

                          This website is seeing a number of fake complaints about companies.

                          This is being done by competitors which is misusing this website and misleading people to purchase their products.

                          I am surprised no efforts are ever made on the veracity of the complaint by this website as well.

                            Its not the first time that I have traveled abroad or used an international sim card service, but today am really frustrated with the services that uniconnect sim cards in providing in Europe. The network is sick and the data doesn’t work at all. In fact hasn’t been working for the last 3 days now. I called up their customer services for help and I was literally on hold for 20 minutes. 20 minutes and then a dead tone. I rarely write these reviews. But I'm so freaking angry that I had to find a way to communicate how these guys service their customers. We pay a bomb for Uniconnect international sim cards with absolutely zero connectivity. This is absolutely absurd.

                              Do not trust Uniconnect Mobiles for their international sim cards. I had placed and order and then later canceled my request for a US Sim card. These guys told me that they would refund the money since I had canceled the sim card and its been 15 days since, they have completely stopped responding to my emails or even telling me when would they process the refund.

                                I had bought a uniconnect sim card so that i could use it in france and it turned out to be the most expensive thing that happended to me on that trip. Flagfall charges at rs 11 for every call plus their calls were no where cheap either. I would have rather not used their services had i known that they were so damn expensive for below average services they offered.

                                  Do not sign up with uniconnect international sim cards. They say that they have 24x7 customer support but when it actually comes to helping resolve issues, their support team is always sleeping. I experienced their horrible customer support when my sim stopped working in Europe. Initally nobody picked the phone. And when they did they only transferred the call from one to the other. Since it was a prepaid sim card, it seemed like they really didn’t bother about customer support.

                                    I have never been more disappointed, irritated and frustrated with a service provider that what I have experienced with Uniconnect Sim Cards. This is my first review anywhere . Everything was great when I was buying their prepaid sim card for UK. They spoke of their great services and the best in industry plans and so on. So I bought the sim card for almost Rs 4000/- with some 5GB data and 500 mins of FREE calls within UK etc. Sounded like a great plan. I landed and made my first call within UK, called my sister to inform her that I would reach her place in sometime. Call ended in less than 2 minutes. Uniconnect throws a message, 20 minutes consumed from 500 minutes. So basically I thought it was 2 minutes. Within a few days o[censored]sing that number only for local calls, all my 500 minuts were consumed with no basis. When I called up their customer care, they said that they cant help and their system shows that I have consumed the minutes and now nothing can be done. So basically now I either pay more money to recharge the number or I ask people to call me. These guys are really cheap with their approach to making money.

                                      Very bad and rude customer support from Uniconnect. I was using their Canadian sim card and I had issues with setting my data. So like any other customer, I called their support team and the experience of interacting wth them was mind blowing! I was first kept on hold for 10 mins only to connect me to their tech department who said that the settings are fine, could be network issue. So again on hold for 10 minutes and then connected to the network department. They said no problem with the network, must be with my handset only. So basically afte 30 minutes of an international call, there was no solution offered from their end. Disappointing!

                                        Too difficult to understand the process of recharging a sim card that i purchased from uniconnect. I was using their thailand sim and their website for recharging the sim was honestly quite bad. It took me more than 2 hours to figure that out and finally i had to call up their customer support who said that they cant help i will have to go through the website to recharge the number. I spent 1300 rs for no services or support from their team. What use would that be to anyone.
                                        Uniconnect customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
