I am using videocon d2h since last 5 years. I have paid my monthly subscription of rs 475/ - which was expiring today on 13th may 2018. I am not getting any service from the vendor due to error no. E04-4. I. E. Smart card not inserted properly. We don't touch the stb the question of removal of smart cart does not arise. When called customer care centre, i was told to keep tv on so that they will reset the connection from their end online. After a while i was told that a service engineer will visit to set the problem right with a visit fee of ₹200/-.
When stb, smart card is provided by the service provider it is their duty to see that customer get service un interruptedly. When i refused to pay any charges then i was threatened that your service will not resume unless you pay a visit fee.
This is exploitation of customer.
Videocon group is already in deep trouble.

    Dear sir/ma’am,

    I am sharing below an experience of sheer apathy and harassment i have suffered from videocon d2h. I hope this should act as an eye opener for prospective videocon d2h customers and they refrain from buying its d2h connection. Since, videocon d2h is taken over by dish tv and they also haven’t done anything to resolve this issue even after writing to their nodal officer, this speaks volumes about the kind of service these guys provide. Should customers still opt to get videocon d2h/dish tv connection, it is at their own peril.

    My videocon customer id is[protected] and i am in mumbai. Few days back, i relocated in the same building from 1st floor to 8th floor. Therefore, for relocation of videocon d2h dish antenna and cable from 1st floor to 8th floor, i registered a relocation request by calling to their customer care number +[protected] as mentioned on their website. The relocation request was registered on[protected] and i specifically told customer care executive to send engineer for relocation at around 6 pm on[protected]. The customer care executive said it will be done and he noted my request; however, no request number was provided to me despite promising me so on the phone. (I received an sms on[protected] mentioning that rs. 400 have been debited to my videocon d2h account as service charges for relocation. They debited this amount even without doing any relocation).

    Shortly after registering relocation request, i started getting calls from various people from various phone numbers at odd hours of the day asking whether to come for relocation immediately. To each one, i informed that to come on[protected] at scheduled time as otherwise nobody will be available at home to attend to them. However, calls from videocon d2h kept on coming and finally out of frustration, i told one of the callers to come at 5 pm on[protected]. I hurriedly reached home; however, their engineer never came and also nobody called again. I registered a complaint no.[protected] with their customer care and on sms i was confirmed that the complaint will be resolved by[protected].32 pm).

    On[protected], again their engineer called and i requested him to come at 5 pm on the same day. Again hurriedly i reached home. After calling him at least 10-12 times, he finally showed up at 7.30 pm. I showed him the dish and cable on 1st floor from where it was to be removed and then to be taken up to 8th floor for reinstallation. I asked him to see place on 8th floor where it is to be installed, which he refused to see. I told him that i'll wait on 8th floor and he should remove dish and cable from 1st floor and bring it to 8th floor. He said he will do it. I went to 8th floor and waited for long time. Their engineer did not come up. I again went down to see what he is doing, and to my utter surprise, the engineer was gone. He had not removed the dish and cable on 1st floor. He had run away without even informing me. I tried calling him on his mobile number and he was deliberately cutting my calls. After some time he switched off his mobile. His mobile number is +[protected].

    Another shocking part is, when i called customer care to complain, they informed me that the engineer has reported that the job is done! This was absolutely false. He had not even touched the dish and cable. I registered two complaint no.[protected] and[protected] and on sms i was informed that they will be resolved by[protected].56 pm) and[protected].59 am). However, the complaints were never resolved and nobody from videocon d2h even bothered to call and send engineer for relocation.

    I had requested their customer care to connect me with someone senior; however they simply kept my phone on hold for long time. As mentioned on their website, i also wrote to their nodal officer mr. Imran sheikh on nodalofficer. [protected]@dishd2h.com and also wrote to [protected]@d2h.com; however, neither has anybody responded to it nor issue was resolved. Their customer care simply registers complaint but does nothing thereafter. Till date, the relocation is not done but they have debited rs. 400 to my account.

    The customer service is worst and these guys are cheating and looting people. Very unprofessional behavior by these people. Prospective videocon d2h customers, beware of this company!

    This is a serious fraud being done by videocon d2h (Which is now owned by dish tv). If any authority is taking note of this post, request to resolve this issue and also take appropriate action to curb such practice.

      I have d2h connection i want to downgrade. D2h never allowed me to dawn grade my package. Whenever i call to there customer care they immediately cut the lime.

      And every time they are telling to recharge to change the plan this way they have two extra recharge and binding me to leave the connection.

        No service, no refund of money
        Hi all,

        Have a horrible experience to share with all. Never ever go with videocond2h!! These guys are extremely pathetic. They are so cheap and unprofessional that they neither give service or refund my money. I recharge videocon account on april 5th 2018 from that time tv screen showing no signal. Raised complaint via phone email but no response. This is not new whenever i recharge face this issue, since then i have raised several complaints, no use! They only assure it will get resolved by 24hrs or 8hrs but never so. I have even written and called them asking to terminate the connection and refund my money 6200/-. Have also told them that they can take back their set up box etc. These guys are so cheap and unprofessional they can't even refund,
        Future customers please beware, opt for some other services, never go choose them!!

          My base pack was popular suddenly yesterday it was revised to gold lite. How? And why? Did i told them to revised? With whom consent their backend team has change my base pack? Who gave them the authority to change my base pack without confirming me... Customer care service too poor girl couldn't give appropriate answer and when she transfer the call to senior, senior didn't have audacity to speak with me, didnt pick the call i was on hold for good 7 mins.. Ridiculous.. Very clearly i want to state them i want my base pack to be as earlier that is popular.
          I have sent them email, connected through facebook, twitter but no reply from them. Pathetic service.

            Sir
            I was a videocon d2h subscriber my customer id is[protected]. I had problems with the lmp provided by the company since last one year and i had to get it replaced thrice by the company service man and each time i had to pay 600₹ for the same. Hence i decided to disconnect the services and lodged complaints for the same (Complaint no.[protected] and[protected] inspite of multiple reminders there is no response from the customercare or the company as the refund amount remaining is 7293.25 ₹.
            Kindly register my complaint for refund, poor services and also charge penalty against the company and the promoter of this product mr abhishek bacchan.

              We paid for videocon d2h various package including that dd all channels. But when live cricket or other event showed on dd. Videocon d2h has stop service from there platform. Why videocon d2h is forced to people for purchased other sport package. Please forcefully stop this viewers. And broadcast without disturbing all dd channels. If the viewers want to see doordarshan, then they should not give inconvenience. Do not ever block any dd channels anymore.

                Hi,

                Myself samit patil using videocon d2h for customer id[protected] from last 2 years. Recently videocon d2h has started looting customers with their khuskiyon ka weekend offer in which they lure customers with re. 1 offer & later charge it with higher value of rs. 50.

                I am very furious about above issue. After complaining several times they resolved my complaint but 4 days later issue has reoccurred when i did monthly recharge. I again lodged a complaint to which they are avoiding to reply.

                      I am a user of vediocon d2h with customer id[protected], the vedicon company is making me full, they disconnect my connection from there end before the recharge end date. When i call to customer care of vediocon d2h they advised me to take a engineer visit for which charges is rs 200/- when i denied to take such engineer visit they forced me to take the visit and calling me again & again to take engineer visit, after that my subscription was end. I didn’t recharge my set top box for some day’s so after one week they start my set top box in god condition. Again i call to customer care that without engineer visit my set top box started again. How is this possible? Before some days you ware saying it is not possible without engineer visit. After there convention i recharge again on 30 march 18 after one day the again stop my set top box and telling me to take a engineer visit for which i have to pay the charges. Customer care people is also making me fool. Once they change my plan by making me fool. They are making me fool on every call. They are disconnecting my phone without my permission. On running call they are acting like they are not getting my voice and thane disconnected. I have a recording of all the things. Which i can forward me that how they denied on my question they only want to earn money by unethical way. They are teasing there customer so i request you to take a strict action against them. And force them to start my tv early. I request you to just listen my recording of last one month then you will realize how this company are making us fool. I also mail them regarding the same but they reply me after 20 days for that mail. The company is fraud and there executives are also fraud for unethical business practice.

                      Till now i did not get any response of my complaint. now vediocon d2h teasing me more by stopping the channels which i have in my package, the connection is more week now. all the channels of vediocon marketing strategy are running successfully other then all news and paid channels are interrupted the vediocon company is totally fraud. kindly take the action as soon as possible.
                      My customer ID is[protected]. My base back changed from South Platinum HD to some basic plan. I would like to change back my base back to south platinum HD. Please do the needful.
                      I lost my RTN. So i couldn't change my base pack.

                        I suppose to upgrade my STB with comparability to connect Smart [protected]@h Remote with my phone via BT dongle, D2H CCA asked me pay Rs.2070/- to grade the STB,
                        Service team called me for same and i explained as mentioned but they didn't had such device so they proposed me to pay additional amount so that they will install D2H another device, whi ch i rejected to do so, as it wasn't communicated to me from D2H.

                        i spent 70 minute them over phone but they don't have solution, they also want me to pay more Rs.2490/- to get that Device and my earlier made payment they are going to adjust under month subscription charges.

                        i fail understand that who has them to authorized to hold my money if they are failed to serve the customer, [protected]@h gave me wrong information to make the payment, they don't have device with above facilities than why should i pay additional amount ? why they can't adjust with payment made by me and collect the remaining amount?
                        if all not possible than why they are not able refund my money? also why should i leave my money with them?

                        Non of team member till manager don't have the solution, i believe this their CEO and MD and directors are at least have some sense before making such strategies and policies .

                            I am taking services of videocon d2h dish tv since sept 4, 2014. But now in new gold sports pack, they are having similar channels on more than one channel numbers even some of them are on three or four channels. And when i was trying to lodge a complain then they were denying to give complaint no. And saying complain after 4-5 hours. Hope u would pay attention to it and resolve it.

                              I was using the Videocon D2H service for more than 5 years till the time my set top box became dead. After that I waited for 1 year to get it rectify and since they I had done yearly payment, I guess they were least bothered even to come and repair and started avoiding my call by different reasons like - you complained to wrong email ID(when I used the email available on website), you should call only from registered phone number, you cannot give online complaint when I used my login Id on videocon website... and finally they suggested me to make payment to upgrade the box and later they didnt respond at all, so I decided to get new connection from Tata. Now it's been almost a year, I have been waiting for refund of 2490/- and company denies any payment received when I have made payment on their website through online banking and my statement shows the completed transaction..There has been no response from customer care or local office either. Initially, they made some false commitments now none of them are even responding. I would request you to please look into matter help with it.

                                On 5th March 2018, I tried recharging Videocon d2h. It was made to wrong customer id.47036477 instead of[protected]correct one). I request Videocon D2h to resolve this issue and credit the amount back so that i can make a proper recharge and enjoy wonderful perks of Videocon services.

                                Also, find screenshots of the transaction carried out.

                                  Dear sir,
                                  I am sorry to say that your service is very poor, becouse you are not solve my problems permanently. Last 3 days we are not waching any channel due to proper signal not available in my set top box. I have already complain register through phone but your customere care service not taken any action or nor sending any technical person for rectify this problem. If you not provide my service then i requesting you refund my rechage amount which is recharge on 25/02/2018, and i will be disconect my connection. Please look the matter and take the action early. Also be noted that last time your technical person visit my home and he only broken one branch of plant only and i had pay 400/- for this job. There after i continue this job but my problems is not solve permanently.

                                    Hi,

                                    I received an SMS on 10th Jan 2018 by Videocon D2H on my registered mobile that FREE Subscription was provided to me till 24th Feb 2018.
                                    They discontinued the services without informing me on 9th Feb 2018.
                                    Now they want me to subscribe the channel & pay the charges for subscription.
                                    This is clear case of cheating & unethical.
                                    Can you kindly help & address the issue.

                                    As per the message the FREE subscription is till 24th Feb 2018. As on today no action has been taken, The complaint was raised on 16th Feb 2018 in this forum where as to Videocon D2H was informed on 9th Feb'18 by call to customer care & mail.

                                    After several mails & discussions I got the below reply & was informed over my registered cell phone that I will be provided SONY TEN1 subscription for the promised 12 days starting 26th Feb'18 till Mar 9th 2018.

                                    But the subscription was not given & when I wrote back to the [protected]@d2h.com they say that I need to pay for the subscription. Kindly find below mail which was responded after 10 days of reporting the issue. The tele support is useless & they never understand or hear what you are saying.

                                      I have pay 100rs to retailer.
                                      Retailer has cheat me to show fake message to success your recharge but actually recharge failed amount not debit in my account.

                                      I have complaint many time to retailer and videocon d2h customer care.

                                      Videocon d2h say i am not supported to this case. But why to me not support this case. My money not black. I have earning money is limited and earning source is very tough.

                                        Please make me free from videocon d2h services as they call me frequently even during my busy hours of work. Even during sundays, the same thing is repeating hour after hour. Yesterday i received lots of call from videocon.. Please dont disturb anyone like this.. Its really testing the patience...
