I requested to down grade package to gold lite but customer care personnel heard incorrect and intentionally changed it to gold kids
When i called again she said that please complain and that will be fixed on 20th june.
But on 20th june they informed me that is not possible
I said it's your fault please check my recording of my request and change it so. Fraud company looting money

    My customer id is[protected] and complaint number is[protected] registered in videocon d2h customer care. I am not getting service from 3 days and i complained about it yesterday in their call centre. Their people have promised me to send service engineer in 24 hrs and still no one is cared to call me. Why videocon consistently give worst customer service. If my plan subscription is completed for a month they will not allow a single second and my services will be stopped but why they cannot give the same service when face issues. I get number of calls that your subscription is completed like that but why they are not bothered to lift my call when i call customer care. I think they have the software to not receive the call if it comes from the same ip address more than 2-3 times. Their service is very poor and it’s not one time. They consistently delivered worst service to me. I paid 700/- per month to them from 4 years and now i understand how much big mistake i have done. I have been waiting for fifa world cup from 4 years and they put me in a position to look at sky when their service engineer will knock my door. Will they allow to discount the money for not providing service for 3 days. Clearly no coz they tell it’s their company policy. Atleast they are not bothered to lift my call to ask for when they can send so called service engineer to my home to get the services. They have blocked me to not connect call to customer care. Well done videocon for giving me worst customer service consistently

    Today I called customer care as yesterday they have put me in blocked list. Yesterday I tried 3 times and after connecting to service representative the call will be automatically disconnected. They don’t bother to call me back also. Today after I call them am really depressed and shocked with the response they gave to me. Even though complaint number was generated day before yesterday it didn’t reach service engineer as the call was disconnected in the middle(they told).That means even though complaint number was there it is no useful. Now they tell by tomorrow they will send service engineer. That means total 5 days am experienced no service but they charge for these 5 days promptly. This is the most worst experience ever with any private company till now. Atleast now I realise how much money I wasted till now for them

      I had subscribed for videondth platinumhd channel and had been paying the package rates for years. Recently i checked that my package expiry period was reduced by 2 days. Upon trying to contact customer service, i used to be put on hold for several minutes. I tried calling them at different hours of day and night, the response was same. I sent them an email to their customer service in this regard. Later i managed to get them online. As per their information, i had subscribed for cooking channel.. Which is an utter lie. Upon complaint they said they unsubscribed the channel, but they did not talk about crediting the same to my next payment. I used to get reminders to pay my subscription before 1st july. But the balance they quoted online included the extra charges of thre cooking channel. If they have not updated my account, why are they sending me reminders to pay the subscription which still includes the cooking channel charges. I would suggest all customers to carefully note their expiry dates and the amount payable. It seems.. Many are being fleeced by this type of scam. I request the concerned authorities to take action on such scams committed. Without a customers confirmation and authorisation no channel should have the power to add channels and deduct for the same by reducing the viewing dates

        Hi, i have been using videocon d2h, due to some technical issue with the product, channels are automatically changing. May be the issue could be due to software bug. Customer care is not competent to handle such issue and to check this their are pushing for technical person visit to my location, changes of which i have to bear.

        Request for a resolution on the same, as i have recharge on 17 june, and your product is not working.
        Resolution can also be that you can take back your product.

        i wanted to updated more with my experience with videocon d2h.
        When i dont see unsuscribed channels that is fine for me and for them. when i pay more and subscribe to a channel, even after that i don't see that channel means - customer care resolution is visit by technical team for which i have to pay service charge.:)

          1) though i thought that i had the top of the line platinum subscription, i had to subscribe additionally for this channel. Videocon is cheating the customers.
          2) the hd channel 931 is chargeable for some rs 85+ per month + taxes which has a lock in period of 3 months. That means i end up paying rs 200 odd for the next 2 months for whatever # the channel broadcasts
          3) the channel is supposed to be hd. You shoud see for yourself it is not even sd. This is cheating by either videocon d2h or sony ten or both.

          Videocon is a Cheat company. I had the SONY TEN 2 and 3 channels working perfectly for the previous 3 months. now suddenly during FIFA, the channel is disconnected. I called the customer care, they are asking 40rs extra for this single channel PER month, and my whole super gold package which was working fine till today evening is only approx 275 with Sony ten channel working perfectly. during FIFA days, they suddenly removed the package from super gold, and begging for 40 rs extra, fcukers, cheater. this company should die. customer care puts your call on hold for hours.

            My customer. Id 58711313 and rtn is [protected]. My set top box was replaced by service technician due recording failure and cost for the same rs.200+200 paid in cash to tecnician. Few hours later rs.200 was deducted from my account towards the cost of set top box. Compliant has registered with customer care and told rs.200 will be reverted back to my account. But till now not closed by my compliant in fact every day registering my compliant.

              I have done a recharge for add on sony ten3 and it was for one month and it is not mentioned any language intl their d2h infinity app but when recharged i realise that it was a hindi channel and i need to watch world cup in english and when i called a customer care executive and said deactivate it or change it for sony ten2 which was in english but they had a very bad behaviour and said it can only be deactivated after 3 months and i can't even change the channel to english during this period. I was very disappointed that i can't understand hindi fluently and the channel was for three months and they will debit money from my account balance.
              I have used other dth services before and this is the most worst experience i had... They cant even change the channel language though the both languages are available in the same value it is very disappointing...

              Here is the add and they didn't even mentioned the channel language or the deactivation time is 3 months.and making the customers foolish by giving daily amount to be debited

                Four years back we took the videocond2h connection. And our dealer wrongly given the mobile number and that number is saved as our registered telephone number. Our customer id is[protected]. Name: sebastian k. We tried calling the customer care. But no response. And we contacted our dealer but he told it is difficult to do. So we would like to change our rtn to the given number: [protected] as soon as possible....

                I have subscribed channel number 413 yesterday and i am not getting it. What to do? I also want to deactivate my old add-on please help me. A text message is received that the channel has been subscribed and i am not getting it. The customer care is not responsible for it??. Where i should complaint for it? Malayalam or english customer care provider are busy when i am calling

                  I have recharged from my Bank account for Cust.I'd.[protected] on 13/6/2018 at9.45am.for Rs.475/- having transaction I'd.-[protected].it was debited from my account but was not charged. Kindly correct it.such things should not happen in near future. Waiting your replay.I have tried your customer care no.but of no use.I should get service as Early as possible.

                    Have raised multiple complaint against videocon d2h connection - remote is not functioning from last 4 days.

                    Despite of resolution we are only getting false commitments that your problem would be resolved in 24 hrs, 4 hrs & within an hour.

                    Service request raised are getting closed without resolution and engineer are closing them stating consumer is not picking calls.

                      Dear videocon team,
                      Kindly clarify whether videocon d2h will telecast the fifa world cup matches from 14 june 2018 and if so in which hd channels and in which language.

                      I found out that since world cup matches will be shown only in sony ten2 hd (Which is not available in videocon d2h).

                      Your urgent clarification is requested so that i continue subscribing to videocon d2h.

                      I will be compelled to move to other service providers if no clarification is received.

                      Just i discussed with Videocon d2h customer care and they are not aware about world cup saying that we don't aware which chanel broadcast which program.As I'm using Videocon d2h connection from long time so don't want to close it.But if Videocon not able to assure about telecast then I need to take Videocon d2h off immediately as on time if broadcast is not available then no one give me instantly new connection.At least need details can we able to see live marches without hd or hd chanel will be available or not.Thanks to Anthony for update.I decided to wait till Monday else unfortunately go for other service provider on Tuesday

                      Is Fifa wc 2018 available on Videocon D2H SD or HD ?
                      Weak by Videocon. I just made the biggest mistake by choosing Videocon D2H. They have no idea about the Fifa World Cup firstly, and apart from that, all other competitors have all channels, but Videocon.

                      Seriously!! Pick up your game, it is embarrassing...
                      I have called twice customer care but no information received on FIFA 2018 broadcasting channels even after placing call back request no one responded. It's seems taking Videocon is my greatest mistake. Customer care are rude to answer my quarry.
                      If some one can help me out.

                      I see channel 931 as Sony Ten 2 HD. But even the customer care folks are not aware of it. What a shame

                      i tried to activate the channels SONY Ten 2 over phone and the D2H team hold my call continuesly and i spent 30rupees my yesterday, this is very poor response D2H team, if you have such courtesy in your customers you team will not do like this.. very very bad service... i personally fed up with your poor poor poor service...
                      This issue is not new, when there is big tournament, it removes the channel from Platinum HD then we have to buy it separately .
                      In our society we have more than 50 Videocon connections. We have decided to change to other service provider if we can't see WC. My office colleagues also decided so in their societies.
                      Hi Guys dont go for videocon. I think they dont have man power. Service pathetic. Since 05July I m calling to customer care [protected] & [protected] continously and today we are 07/jul just to activate SONY 1 to watch Football world cup. I think by the time they answer Football world cup will get over. Not even single time i got the customer care line.
                      These people have money to give big advertisement but they do not have money to give better service to customer.

                      I dont know who is owner of this videocon. Hope he is checking all reviews.

                        It is very pathetic situation that I am facing with these culprits (Videocon d2h). They have deducted Rs.200 from my account for attending technical visit. But no one has come and didn't attend any complaints so far. After raising many complaints and escalation, no one has provided the resolution. No response at all from any mode of escalation. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. CUST ID[protected]

                        Still the refund was given. They are making fool o[censored]s. What is the point having customer care and all. Simply waste of time on doing esclations. They are not even bother about anything.

                        Videocon is worst... I am going to take legal action for this.

                          I am v pushpa from chennai (Cust id:[protected]. With heavy heart im registering this complaint. I registered a complaint regarding "smart card not inserted properly error" 2 days before on (3rd june 2018) techinician visited my home. He did nothing he said it is the problem related to tv and went off. He just came, stand in house and went, but they deducted rs.300 from my account without my knowledge. I am not able to get any responses from their side and i spent nearly rs.200 for the telephonic charges. But nobody was giving a damn about it. 6th june 2016 is my end of subscription date. Now im not able to see any channels at all. And nobody resolving my problem, they are not treating the customer's problem at all. Now im suffering a lot by using their videocon service. Please i need to find a solution to this problem. They don't have any rights to deduct amount from my account.

                            I am the active customer of videocon d2h dth service since 2011. On 27 april 2018 software upgrade started and after successful installation recording option is not available. After complaining to the customer care the service engineer check the same but couldn't fix the same and gave assurance to replace the same without any charges. But one month is completed but they did not replace the same and when complaint they charge 400 to replace the setup box. This problem is occurred because of wrong software installation. That is not my fault then why i will pay for the same.

                              I am following up with customer care representatives at [protected]
                              since 11th May for replacing the remote. Every time I hear some excuse from
                              unavailability of remote control to thunderstorm. I don't know which of the
                              executive at their center lies and if the reason is the thunderstorm or
                              unavailability of remote control. I have the call recording (attached below) of two of their representatives giving different excuses in the same call.

                              Upon asking who is going to bear the amount being debited on daily basis from the DTH account for the subscription of your service, the agent said "You will have to bear"???

                              I am tired of calling and hearing the same thing that the issue will be
                              fixed in 8 working hours without any luck since 11th May. It has frustrated
                              me a lot and fells like being molested.

                              So many times their executives just disconnects the call and I have to call
                              again and speak the whole story again...even frustrating :(

                              Later sent an email to [protected]@d2h.com on 21st May but got no response later after sharing my customer id on 22nd May.

                              Then on 25th May got an email in a new thread which says they are unable to help me because I didn't shared the customer id with them and today on 29th May in this same thread they said they have the customer but they are not able to help me because I am not receiving their call...RIDICULOUS

                              Please see the attached screenshot depicting the customer id shared right away with them. One can easily see that their focus is not on resolving the issue but on pushing everything on the customer that they were unable to help because of the customer who is following up constantly since more than two weeks.

                              They also sent me a message on 25th May acknowledging a service charge of Rs. 50 (can be seen in the attached screenshot). Can you imagine this, no service, wastage of time and money, frustration with a service charge?

                              Attached the call recording of the customer care executive, screenshot of the complain in the SMS and email screenshot for the proof. Can present more call recordings in which some of their executive felt little angry when I asked him not to disconnect the call and told him that you are daily giving me an 8 hour hope with no resolution. He disconnected the call when I asked him to log disconnection request for DTH.

                              I want the connection amount, the relocation charge and the subscription amount spent since 11th May to be refunded asap. Failing on this, will left me with no other option but to go to the Consumer Forum and escalate the complain to higher authorities using social media with all the proof.

                                I have also same issue of Signal Not Available. When I was called in Customer Care, they replied me that all services rest of your connect and there is no issue from Videocon D2H. They said that our engineer will be come at your home and setting of it but I have pay Rs. 200 Charges for that.

                                Really, it is not acceptable, they are try to looting people like us. I Request to all that please throw your D2H and get good connection from reputed company. Videocon is now starting to looting people.

                                  Cheating the customer by placing someones setup box and not giving a proper response. Even after a several followup with the customer care.

                                  Before 1 month my setup box went through some problem and channel did not come. So i informed customer care and they changed the setup box and said within 2 hours the channels will be live. But after 24 hrs also channel did not start. Then again i complained to the customer care then a technician came and said it cannot be changed and it should again be informed to the customer care. A customer is been ill treated and never been answered in a proper way and should run behind the customer care and also when asked to the technician he answers in a irresponsible way saying i cannot do anything go contact customer care. If so then why is this product sold been available in INDIA. and for sure i wont recommend anyone for videocon from now. my customer id[protected]

                                    I am using videocon d2h since last 5 years. I have paid my monthly subscription of rs 475/ - which was expiring today on 13th may 2018. I am not getting any service from the vendor due to error no. E04-4. I. E. Smart card not inserted properly. We don't touch the stb the question of removal of smart cart does not arise. When called customer care centre, i was told to keep tv on so that they will reset the connection from their end online. After a while i was told that a service engineer will visit to set the problem right with a visit fee of ₹200/-.
                                    When stb, smart card is provided by the service provider it is their duty to see that customer get service un interruptedly. When i refused to pay any charges then i was threatened that your service will not resume unless you pay a visit fee.
                                    This is exploitation of customer.
                                    Videocon group is already in deep trouble.

                                      Dear sir/ma’am,

                                      I am sharing below an experience of sheer apathy and harassment i have suffered from videocon d2h. I hope this should act as an eye opener for prospective videocon d2h customers and they refrain from buying its d2h connection. Since, videocon d2h is taken over by dish tv and they also haven’t done anything to resolve this issue even after writing to their nodal officer, this speaks volumes about the kind of service these guys provide. Should customers still opt to get videocon d2h/dish tv connection, it is at their own peril.

                                      My videocon customer id is[protected] and i am in mumbai. Few days back, i relocated in the same building from 1st floor to 8th floor. Therefore, for relocation of videocon d2h dish antenna and cable from 1st floor to 8th floor, i registered a relocation request by calling to their customer care number +[protected] as mentioned on their website. The relocation request was registered on[protected] and i specifically told customer care executive to send engineer for relocation at around 6 pm on[protected]. The customer care executive said it will be done and he noted my request; however, no request number was provided to me despite promising me so on the phone. (I received an sms on[protected] mentioning that rs. 400 have been debited to my videocon d2h account as service charges for relocation. They debited this amount even without doing any relocation).

                                      Shortly after registering relocation request, i started getting calls from various people from various phone numbers at odd hours of the day asking whether to come for relocation immediately. To each one, i informed that to come on[protected] at scheduled time as otherwise nobody will be available at home to attend to them. However, calls from videocon d2h kept on coming and finally out of frustration, i told one of the callers to come at 5 pm on[protected]. I hurriedly reached home; however, their engineer never came and also nobody called again. I registered a complaint no.[protected] with their customer care and on sms i was confirmed that the complaint will be resolved by[protected].32 pm).

                                      On[protected], again their engineer called and i requested him to come at 5 pm on the same day. Again hurriedly i reached home. After calling him at least 10-12 times, he finally showed up at 7.30 pm. I showed him the dish and cable on 1st floor from where it was to be removed and then to be taken up to 8th floor for reinstallation. I asked him to see place on 8th floor where it is to be installed, which he refused to see. I told him that i'll wait on 8th floor and he should remove dish and cable from 1st floor and bring it to 8th floor. He said he will do it. I went to 8th floor and waited for long time. Their engineer did not come up. I again went down to see what he is doing, and to my utter surprise, the engineer was gone. He had not removed the dish and cable on 1st floor. He had run away without even informing me. I tried calling him on his mobile number and he was deliberately cutting my calls. After some time he switched off his mobile. His mobile number is +[protected].

                                      Another shocking part is, when i called customer care to complain, they informed me that the engineer has reported that the job is done! This was absolutely false. He had not even touched the dish and cable. I registered two complaint no.[protected] and[protected] and on sms i was informed that they will be resolved by[protected].56 pm) and[protected].59 am). However, the complaints were never resolved and nobody from videocon d2h even bothered to call and send engineer for relocation.

                                      I had requested their customer care to connect me with someone senior; however they simply kept my phone on hold for long time. As mentioned on their website, i also wrote to their nodal officer mr. Imran sheikh on nodalofficer. [protected]@dishd2h.com and also wrote to [protected]@d2h.com; however, neither has anybody responded to it nor issue was resolved. Their customer care simply registers complaint but does nothing thereafter. Till date, the relocation is not done but they have debited rs. 400 to my account.

                                      The customer service is worst and these guys are cheating and looting people. Very unprofessional behavior by these people. Prospective videocon d2h customers, beware of this company!

                                      This is a serious fraud being done by videocon d2h (Which is now owned by dish tv). If any authority is taking note of this post, request to resolve this issue and also take appropriate action to curb such practice.
