We did a recharge of 1425 for 3 months as instructed by the customer care of videocon d2h. But within 2 months the service got deactivated. When we connected with customer care again they told us that some extra service were being activated by there back end service team. Due to which the subscription charge were cut and the service got deactivated within 2 months. And we asked when will our subscription money be back they told us it will take 36 hrs, 48 hrs.

    From past one day my d2h connection was not showing any signal, for that we tried everything we can like restarting the box and removing and again connecting wires but still not successful. Today we called d2h cuatomer care and booked an appointment with their engineer. That person came and did nothing literally nothing and amazingly signal came and took 200rs for that. I think they intentionally do that so that to get an extra money. Really angry becauze of it and would like my refund otherwise i'll throw the box outside or sell it on ebay and will get back my money.

      I have Videocon D2H HD set top box. But from last one month it is not working. I have booked many complaints through mail/phone. They have reset and reconnect my account but problem is same. They says within 48 hrs. Problem will be solved but till now problem is not solved.
      Kindly do needful to solve my problem.

          Over a few weeks, we observe a terrible crackling noise in all the channels, including hd. Despite my multiple complaints to the customer support, they force me to check the connectivity often, which i found to be good always. There are no sound issues when streaming live/recorded content from the internet/usb/dvd. The issue is only with channels subscribed on d2h.

          Further, for no reason i am being forced to register a technician visit on chargeable basis without any fault at my end.

            Hello,
            I m videocone d2h subscriber from 5 years. From couple of months, there is issue in some channels are getting frizzed.
            I called there customer care service, many time they just refreshed and send some commend, but my issue not solved.
            Customer service agent said that he will send technical person at my place but I have to pay 200/- . ..what nonscence? Why should customer have to pay 200Rs.
            Its videocone problem its not customer issues that they are not able to see only particular channels.
            Even my set up box and cable line are cleared, my all channels are cleared except some marathi .
            Then why should customer have to pay for there studip service.

              I have been their d2h customer since 2 years..
              My account subscription expired in oct first week
              Since there were exams for kids and dussehra vacations i had not recharged
              I recharged the account again on 21st october with 500 rs. I wanted to change my plan at than time and move to a-la-carte. The customer service staff i should say were really not equipped to answer my queries and helping me.. Instead o[censored]nderstanding my question they were repeating the same sentences like an automated machine. They keep putting your call on hold multiple times for almost 15 minutes each time.. They put your call on hold for every question.. And after putting your call on hold multiple times they just disconnect the call.. Because they are not aware of the packages available.. Simply to say they are not trained to answer any questions.
              After almost 2 hours i could successfully change to a-la-carte plan. When i checked the next day none of the channels i subscribed for was active.
              And after a while i got the error message 'c06 smart card was not authorised'.. I again called customer care... The person there was not aware of what could be done.. She insisted that there was some problem with my set top box and it needs a techinician visit..
              I tried telling the call center executive repeatedly that the visit might not be needed and it could just be that my settop box was deactivated and not been activated even after recharge... She was just not willing to even listen to what i was saying.. She repeatedly kept insisting that a technician is needed and i have to pay 200 rs for the visit.. She kept stressing only on the payment of rs 200 rather that checking the issue with my settop box.. I could do nothing else but accept for a techinician visit. When the technician visited the next day... He dint even touch my settop box... He asked me to switch on the settop box and tv. The moment he saw the error message... All he did was to reset the settop box through a phone call.. The settop box restarted on its own and the problem was solved within 1 minute.. He clearly told me that his visit was unnecesssary and this could have been done by the customer care people itself... I was upset that the customer care people had messed up the situation and told him that since it was their fault, i would not pay him... He just left because he was convinced about what i said and said that his manager would call to confirm about this goo[censored]p done by
              Customer care people... I explained the same to the manager as well and he too accepted the fault on the customer care executives and said he was fine with my non-payment...

              The very next day when i was exploring about long term recharge options i noticed that rs 200 had been deducted from my online account.. Even without any information to me...
              I was really shocked and called the customer care again.. I was informed that the cut was for the technician visit..

              This is when i was truly frustrated at the ethics of these people.. After agreeing to thier fault in trying to rectify my settop box, apologising and not taking any payment.. How could they cut that amount from my online account.. That too without informing me...
              Its not the matter of money here... Its about how the company cheats its customers.. Its like stealing through back door..
              It is totally unethical what was done... They could have clearly disagreed to the non payment to the technician and insisted on payment... But all they did was agree and accept thier fault... Not take payment from me directly and... Then steal from my account stealthily without any information... This is totally unacceptable behaviour and it is cheating...
              I demand a refund for your unethical behaviour...
              I can escalate this issue to any higher official if needed and need resolution at the earliest.

                I have raised the Issue on 19th October 2018 regarding remote replacement for 2222 HD box.

                I have raised the complain almost every day. Every day they were closing the ticket saying it is solved.

                Till today the issue is not solved and I am not able to watch any channels now.

                I asked my amount refund and they say that they don't have a policy to refund the money.

                They have very bad customer care where hey can't escalate the matter after 2 levels.

                  Hi there,
                  I am writing this mail post my really bad experience with videocon d2h services. Its been almost 03 weeks i have been continuously calling videocon d2h customer care and registering complaints w. R. T to my signal reception issues. Many of my hd channels are not coming. Their service engineer had attended the problem and rectified it once however the problem surfaced again the next day. Post this i have registerd some 03 complaints[protected],[protected],[protected] from 14 oct 18. However either they are being closed on context of my phone not being reachable (Which cant be true) or some other context. Their customer care executives make me keep waiting for long hours without any professional approach or problem solving idea. They just keep saying "line pe bane rahe" they dont know anything more than that. This is ridiculous as i have never faced such kind of problem for a minor glitch. I really dont understand why cant their service engineer come over and resolve the issue. Please look into the issue and resolve it asap.

                    1/10/18 i raised a complaint that my setup box is not working next day their technicians came and replaced adopter. But the adopter was local product and old one not new one and fooled my parents and charge my parents 500rs. I had check in local tv shop the adopter was local and it was just 100rs. From one month i m talking to customer care to their manager but still no response such irresponsible company making fool to customers

                      Videocon d2h support confirmed that HD box will be upgraded from SD within 24 hours, once I have paid Rs.999. Even though after money is paid, the issue is not resolved for more than 4 days.

                      I am calling customer care every day and they are giving time till 7.30pm and no one visited home to fix the issue. very pathetic customer service.

                      I need to disconnect the connection and need the refund. this request also they are NOT providing.

                        As per vediocon d2h rules, service charge is not applicable if complaint is registered within 30 days of visit of service engineer as told by d2h supervisor.

                        My complain is registered through mail within 28 days of engineer visit. Then also rs 200 is deducted from account balance. From d2h it is told that since there customer care person have registered in their software on 15th of october and the engineer have visited on 16th of october so it was 31 days not 28 days so rs 200 deducted.

                        My question is when complain received from customer at their mentioned complaint register mail id. That date will be considered of complaint register or in their delayed process they will decide the date of their choice.

                        History of the situation:

                        There was a problem in signal incoming and service engineer visited on 15th september and checked the connection & outdoor unit. The wire connected to set top box got damaged and the person have repaired it temporarily using black tape the channels started coming. The engineer had asked for rs200 service charge i have paid him and he left. No amount was deducted from d2h account balance.

                        On 13th of october same problem occurred, there was no signal coming. Immediately i have send a mail giving the snap of tv screen, as it was directed as per vediocon d2h that customer to mail "[protected]@d2h.com" for any inconvenience. I have received an automatic reply that their customer care executive will contact with 24 hrs. But no one called from d2h. (It seems they are waiting when 30 days will be over.)

                        On 15th of oct i have contacted customer care on the number mentioned in that automatic reply from d2h and on 16th of october the engineer visited. The engineer had removed that temporary repair of the wire and put some connector and have again checked the disc and put one connector there also. The signal started coming. The service engineer did not ask for any charge and went away. After 2-3 hrs of running again the signal went off showing there is no adequate balance in account. When i called customer care it is told that rs 200 is deducted for service charge of engineers visit.

                        When i called vediocond2h customer care it was told that since the complain was registered in their machine on 15th of october by their representative so it becomes 31 days and rs 200 was deducted.

                        I only want judgment, may be i am wrong and d2h are right. Request any third person to justify this act of fooling customer.

                          The channels opted by me are not coming well for which i have called the customer care for finding the reason.
                          Despite of finding the reason and clearing the fault from their end and simply asking for service charges.

                          Their customer care service says that they are no where responsible for it and we have bear the expences though it is not our fault..

                              Mera vedicond2h hai usme signal nahi aa rahe the maine inke customer care me call ki inhone engineer bheja usne kuch nahi kiya signal bhi nahi milaye kehne laga mai itni uper building me nahi jaunga maine kaha complaint ki hai to resolve to karoge phir jane ke bad bolne lage dth ki chatri ke net bult mere se nahi khulenge ap khol do to mai signal mila du. Maine kaha service charge 200kis liye de raha hu. To wo kehne lage mere se nahi hoga wo engineer chala gaya. Company ne meri id se online 200rs cut ker liye problem resolve nahi hui. Customer care call ki to bar bar complain registered karte hai solution kuch nahi hoga. Paisa refund nahi karte bar bar 1din ka time de date hai please resolve issue.

                                My d2h connection id[protected], the complaint is regarding the above mention d2h connection. I called on customer care dt 28092018 regarding non functioning of my connection, the executive told me to check the power cable, then he told me to check the socket by using other electronic things and i told him the as condition of the connection that when i put on the power the setup box on and the booting process started (Within 30 second) with blue light on in the setup box then it becomes red light and the tv screen goes blank, he immediately told me that the setup box was damaged and then he told me that the product was not in warranty and if i want the service engineer to visit my place to check the product then i have to pay 200/-rs. I agreed as he already told me the setup box was damaaged, but he was telling lie when engineer visited my place and he power on the tv same thing happens setup box on with blue light then booting for 30 seconds and then screen goes blanks and setup box red light got on, the service engineer told me that the remote cell is not working (Which cost 30/-rs), i asked him that the executive told me that setup box was damaged then the engineer told me that may be the customer care executive was new to the service and then the total costs me to 200/- plus 30/- i. E 230 rupees. Due to the customer care executive the 30 rs cell costs me to 230 rs. Even while at the time of complaint booking the customer are did not mention a word regarding remote. They uses unfair means to earn money from me. I want my 200/-rs refund or i approach to consumer court for the unfair happens to me.

                                i got a call from vidocond2h that they will resolve my issue, but issue is yet not solved how much time they want, pathetic service .
                                hello sir/madam,

                                I complaint on consumercomplaints.in and received your reply to email the issue/inconvenience, my issueis that few days ago my d2h was not working when I power on the product starts for booting process (30 seconds) after that the blue light in set-up box turned to red, so i called to customer care and informed him about this .he immediately told me that the set-up box got damaged and the service engineer has to visit and check the set-up box as the product was not in warranty so it is chargeable (200/- RS) plus the part cost which was damaged then he told me that if I replace my set-up box then I have to pay 400/-RS and the warrant will extend to 3 months.so i fixed the visit of service engineer and agreed to replace the set-up box (as told by executive that it was damaged), when engineer visit my house and he power on the product he instantly said that the set-up box was OK and was in a very good condition only the remote cell was to be changed costing 30/- RS, but now i have to pay him (200/- + 30/- ) 230 rs .the customer care executive give me wrong or false information about the product (he did not tell anything about remote) just because of the false information given by your executive I have to pay 200/- rs extra just one cell cost me 230/- rs .It is unjustified.the mistake was made by your customer care executive why should i have to pay for this.So I demand my refund of 200/- rs (you earn it by false means)

                                if i do not got my refund i will definitely switched to tata sky costing 2200/- rs and demand my compensation from vediocon d2h through consumer forum.

                                  Videocon D2h is a fraud company. I had recharged my D2h subscription through Videocon D2h website on 4 August, 2018, SuperGold for 3 months costing INR 900.00 and [protected] this is the order number.
                                  And now after only 61 days, I received message that subscription is ending on 4 October, 2018 . I had recharged for 90 days and 4 days were free, but they ended my subscription in only 61 days. They took amount of 94 days and provided service only for 61 days. And not only for me, you people also check your recharge date and subscription end dates, they are doing fraud, .
                                  they do not answer to my phone calls too. hopeless service by fraud company.
                                  also they have upgraded my Supergold package to GoldMaxi themselves, and did not asked me for that. I ask everyone not to use videocon d2h service.

                                    I got videocon d2h connection around 8 years back with customer id. 3779914 and satellite dvd Sl.No.[protected] and card no. [protected]. After sometime around 4 years ago i got new connection with new hd set top box for new room with customer id :[protected]. I had been using these two connections separately in two diffrent rooms with different antennasand ids. Later on i asked them to merge both connections. They merged it making a mirror connection assigning customer id :[protected] for both set top boxes. Now the new connection(with hd set top box and new antenna) has been relocated to my brothers house. And i am having my old set top box with above Sl. No and old antenna. I requested them to reactivate my old customer id :3779914 with card no. [protected] and device no. [protected]. But i have been telling that there is no device attached to customer id: 3779914 and this customer id is still in my name and active and it can be recharged but i can't use it. They are asking me get new customer id with condition of 2 months recharge (business trick). As old customer id is in my name, i have recharged for Rs.100 just to check whether it is active. It is very much active and i got message that recharge is successfully donre for that customer id. I have been told by videocon d2h supervisor Mr. Syed hussain that i cant use the amount which i recharged for 3779914. And i have to get new customer id with above condition. If i can't use my old customer id, for what it is active and why is it still in my name? He told he will attach my old connection with customer id. When my old customer id is still active, why can't he attach my satellite dvd connection with my old customer id?. This business trick should be eliminated i want old customer id to be reactivated or remove old customer id in my name and refund the amount of Rs. 100.

                                    What happened? No reply? Is there anybody alive in videocond2h? Where is my Rs. 100, I recharged for customer id: 3779914? I want it back which i can give to some beggar not for you.

                                      I am receiving numerous promotional calls from Videocon D2H even after registering for DND Services. I received pre recorded promotional calls & from some sales executives as well and everyday I receive 2-3 calls.

                                      These calls are soo irritating that sometimes I loose my temper as well. I must say that by far Videocon D2H is the worst company in customer care and customer relationship as they have zero knowledge of customer privacy and also have no respect for customer.

                                      Sometimes while we are in middle of something important and if I get these calls I simply request them that I am busy and please don't call me and from other side of the phone the sales executive says sir you must listen to me first and then say something.

                                      If there is any ranking in negative. I would like to give them highest.

                                        We are using videocon d2h from last 6 years (Date of connection : 5th september 2012) and suddenly from last two three months we are getting an error message on my screen saying "signal not available". Whenever i called customer service, first they asked me to wait for 20-30 min to resume services, but when it was not fixed. I call them again now vd2h agent shows that they are solving my problem and put me on hold after some time they ask me to switch off and on the tv set-top-box but still problem not solved so now they came to conclusion and told me that problem cannot be solved and i need to pay for service engineer rs 200 for his visit.

                                        I want to file for grievance case as this type of issue i have faced 4 months back, after several followups they have solved this issue by resetting/ refreshing command from their side. But now they are refusing to do the same and challenging customer (Saying do whatever you can do).
