Dear Official,

On the basis of Diwali offer (Offer was to upgrade existing package to higher package for 60 days with any additional charge for upgraded package by deduction of Rs.10 from account balance)provided by Videocon D2H; on 27.10.16 the same account was recharged as per the offer.

But later came to know they were debiting amount as per upgraded package.
Earlier package was foe Rs.365/- Per month and was upgraded to Rs.435/- per month package.After lodging several complains (Complaint No:[protected] &[protected] to them they refunded the amount and confirmed that amount is being debited from existing balance amount as per package of Rs.365/- as taken earlier before taking Diwali Offer.

Accordingly as per next recharge due date;an amount of Rs.2190/- (Rs.365x6) for 6 months long term recharge been [protected]@ Rs.365/- Per Month basis.As per their commitment they had to give additional 14 days benefit against this long term recharge.Initially they credited validity till 19.05.17 (As per Rs.435/- package).But after several phone calls and lodging several complains ( Complain No:[protected],[protected] & finally[protected];Videocon informed that complains were resolved successfully.But in reality it had been noticed validity for next recharge date been extended till 18.06.17 providing only 04 days additional benefit instead of 14 days in this account.

A phone call confirmation in this regard received from their end today, informing that this account now will be treated as Rs.435 package and as this account had been recharged for 6 months considering Rs.365 package;they will give 04 days additional benefit instead of 14 days long term recharge benefit.

Now, would like to know that if such thing has happened then why Videocon D2h has extended validity till 18.06.17 instead of 19.05.17? So from this it is clear they had done mistake.If such thing happened then they should also credit additional long term benefit of 14 days (For 6 months recharge) instead of 04 Days additional benefit.

Even more no mail is going to Videocon D2h customer care E-mail ID ([protected]@d2h.com);as mail dated:05.12.16 bounced back from their account & a deliver fail notice was received.

So, in this forum would like to lodge complain against them for their fraudulent practice & would request to make arrangement for validity extension with 6 Months long term recharge benefit.

In view of your reply dated 29.12.16 this is to inform that inspite of taking up-gradation offer as per Diwali offer provided by you on recharge of Rs.10/-; how you can charge as per NEW DIAMOND Package from 14.12.16 to 25.12.16, though your offer was valid against Customer ID:[protected] till 25.12.16.

So, requesting not to mislead & credit additional benefit against 6 Months recharge

    I had registered complaints of failure of Videocon connectivity on 13/12/16 with your nodal office followed by number of reminders. I had also sent SMS message to one Mr. Vinodhkumar on 16/12/16.( Cell No. [protected]) to attend the defect and restore the connectivity to the TV. But, I regret to inform you that despite my requests and reminders, neither any staff has turned up nor any response received from your end. The TV has become black out from 12/12/16 due to your inaction.

    Since no response till date from your end, I request you to return the balance amount as on 12/12/16 available at your credit (Approximately Rs.650/-) so as to enable me to go to other Operators, who provides very good service to the Customers.

      I cannot connect a call by jio sim as well as same problem found when we try to call from jio 4g voice app.
      Even in jio 4g app i cannot find the option for call even.
      When we make call it automatically ended.
      Even sometime we cannot receive call.
      I have also upadted software of my videocon q1 mob but still the problem id is same. I hope you will take immediate action.

I made a complaint to Videocon mail id 2 days back. But no reply from his side. Kindly look into the issue and rectify the problem as early as possible. Expect your speedy reply.

            Would like to inform you that videocon d2h is cheating the customers. My d2h connection 92843162, not working properly since last 1 week & i am getting signal not available message everytime. Please resolve this issue at the earliest, & don't disappoint your valued customers..in this month have done the recharge of r's.365 for 1 month, n d signal issue has started from past 1 week, and everytime we have to switch on/off the tv.. Even after so much of our hard earned money, you don't give good service to customers to entertain themselves. You are fooling people.

              I would like to inform you that Videocon d2h is cheating the customers by misleading. My D2h connection not working since last 2 day's and my account get expired on 13 Dec 2016 from 2 day's i am getting Signal not available message everytime need to call to Customer care and asked them to fix the issue, further they are saying we will send our engineer to your home to check the issue and for that i have to pay 200, i don't understand why customer has to pay 200 visiting charges is D2h not giving them salary???? i have asked to terminate the connection and refund my remaining days amount however they denied they are saying you we can't give you refund this not is policy also i haven't notify my devices warranty got expired is not in yI would like to inform you that Videocon d2h is cheating the customers by misleading.                 A Videocon DDB SMART TV was purchased on the 1st week on Nov 2015. It developed some faults within the first year. It has been more than a month since I have been following up with the service team in Bangalore.

                A bunch of jokers who desnt know what to do and how to resolve.

                This is one of the worst service followups that was done in recent times. It is good to be patriotic and buy Indian stuff. It takes a lot more effort an smartness to service to products and bring out a quality one.

                This is my last with Videocon.

                DO NOT BUY THE SO CALLED DDB SMART TV. They dont know what to do

                  I have complaint against Videocon d2h service.My customer id 74365028. My Setup box is working advertising site is proper working and rest of the channels is not working with some error massage, I have called to customer care and read the error message which have displayed on tv then those guys told me so many instruction and i followed after that not resolved this issue and then guys told me we will send a engineer to your place to check the problem.

                  I have really frustrated this type of services by Customer Care Guys and Company who have just formalities i have solved the issues and complain by this type of customer care.

                      I bought new connection of Videocon d2h set top box, from the next day remote is not working properly, I complained to customer care regarding remote & they sent their permanent executive (whose behaviour is very rude). He changed the battery of remote and said now it is ok. And on the next day same problem started again, actually company provided me old remote for new connection. After complaining several times still remote is not changed.

                      Still my remote is not working totally.

                      Worst service from VIDEOCON.

                        My experience with videocon d2h for the past 15 days has been horrible. I had given the request to close down my d2h connection & process my refund around 13 days ago on 20th november 2016 with complaint no.[protected] as i am going to leave the current city i live in by 7th december 2016.
                        I was assured by videocon customer care that their representative will get in touch with me in 7 days & process my request & refund any amount pending. 10 days later, i have received no call. When i called their customer care centre, i was told that a representative had called me but apparently there was no response from my end, which is a total lie, as i have checked my call log in truecaller id & there was no call from videocon d2h. They call 10 times a day when my balance is exhausted, but when a customer needs them, they don't even call back once as promised.

                        On 30th november 2016, i called back, since i received no response & guess what, the representative registered a new complaint & told me to wait for 7 more days. Angry with this attitude of videocon d2h, i insisted on talking to a senior, & i was forwarded to a senior supervisor who assured me that my complaint & refund will be processed in 2 days.

                        On 2nd december, i called customer care, as my refund was not processed in 2 days, and now i am told that my complaint was registered on 30th november & i have to wait for 7 more days.

                        I am completely fed up with the non co-operative attitude of videocon d2h customer service. There is no escalation mechanism where customers harassed by consumer care can go to. I am going to leave the current city i live in on 7th december & there no response nor co-operation from videocon d2h to process my refund before that. All customer care does is try to delay it further & further.

                        I sincerely hope someone responsible at videocon will take note of this & help me process my refund immediately.

                        No point in customer favour in Vid D2H. I also have very horrible experience of them. They only ask to talk to customer care not giving any responsible person after speaking to customer care 20 times and not solving the problem.

                        Basically they are cheating us. They sell us the set up box or DVR and in the form they tick it as Rental. They charge us 200 rs for any complaint visit of the customer otherwise directly cut it from the account. So is the monopoly on their side as no official is allowed to face the customer so our problem can't be solved anytime.

                        The only option is to file a case of cheating and asking for compensation.

                          The price of package which i was subscribed to was changed without my knowledge. The package subscribed was south gold hd, which was costing rs. 390 pm. The price was changed to rs. 485 pm in march. After march, i had multiple contacts to their customercare for various other purposes and all the executives still said rs. 390 pm is my pakage rate. I happened to know the new rate, today when videocon sent a msg asking for recharge. So all these months videocon was mugging my cash, without my knowledge! Contacted the customer care, after multiple disconnects and spending about 1 hr on phone one of the executive forwarded the call to some supervisor, who didn't even know how to talk to a customer. His attitude was, this is how videocon d2h works! He could not even suggest a package for me. Moreover, since videocon did not have a toll free number i had to spend on my phone to talk to the customercare! The supervisor told that there was a broadcast sent to each stb, but i missed the msg on my tv. It could have been read by some other family members, even my son who's just 6 yrs old.

                            Now my purchase product having issue and for the same i called to videocon customer care team .
                            They have raised my complain with videocon service team.
                            Today service guy have come my home and asked for service charge.
                            Service charge is also too high.
                            In warranty period product they why ask service charge.
                            I think you and videocon are saling product as fake warranty card.
                            Rubbish service

                                I have taken one connection on october from videocon industries. From the very next week onwards i am facing frequent disruption in connection saying "no signal" even though the technician came and said there is a loose connection in wire he didnt fixed permanantly and went away. Now i am calling them up again and again they are not sending any technician from last two days. I have paid 3 months advance and these people are taking it for granted now.

                                  I am customer of Videocon D2H (Customer ID =[protected]. Today on 22nd Nov, I got notification on my channel screen "of low balance". I checked in online account that "New Gold Sport" package is active from 22nd March2016. I have never ever activated/requested this pack on my account as I never watch any sport channel. I called Videocon customer care (even talked to their supervisor). They said I used IVR on 22nd March to activate sport package. I am highly surprised here that this "Cheap" tactics I hear in airtel/vodafone/idea that usually these activate caller tune etc without knowledge of customer and say customer use IVR. But Videocon D2H too using this cheap tactics, I am highly surprised. Means they are fooling lots of, lots of customer who are not aware and they simply start a package without customer knowledge. Customer only come to know when their balance becomes low. I am an educated person and knows if I press any key in IVR or do any miss call on any number, it will activate something. So I never ever used any IVR. I told same to customer care of Videocon D2h, but they said they cant reverse the charges of Gold Sport pacakge as it is activated by me. I am 100% sure, I never used IVR. So I want refund of my 90rs*8months=720rs (375sport pack-285 normal pack=90rs/month) refund in my account. They refused for the same.
                                  So I want to file a case against Videocon D2H for this refund, my mental harassment and all lawyer expenses and the salary loss due to visit in Court. Please guide for consumer court case against Videocon. Thanks

                                    I am receiving calls from videocon without an intension of solving problems. A person named palak gandhi called me stating that he wants to know what the problem was.

                                    We were on the call for 40 mins but he wasn’t able to provide me with the resolution.

                                    I explained him that i recharged my stb on 20th nov 2016 at around 1.40am because i wanted to watch my favorite football match but the message on the tv was something like channel unsubscribed or recharge to view channel.

                                    I called videocon. A person asked me to wait for 10 min. I waited for 30min. Then i called 2nd time the agent said wait for another 10mins.

                                    I asked him last agent told me the same thing. He said i am processing some kind of different request. I asked him what is the difference between his and yours.

                                    He said last agent has probably not put the request. He asked me to wait for 10 more mins. I waited another 30 mins.

                                    Then i called again. 3rd person named nainesh said we have done all possible things from our end now you will have to pay 200 for engineer visit.

                                    I was shocked because my home channel was working just fine.
                                    I told him that there are no issues with my setup box.

                                    He said there is an issue with the setup box. He was not ready to listen to me but interested to send an engineer.

                                    I asked him to re take my request because my setup box seems to be ok. He never wanted me to help anymore.

                                    I warned him that if my setup box starts working fine and come out to be no issues it won’t be fair harassing people like sending engineer.

                                    I was 100% sure that there is nothing wrong with the setup box.

                                    Guess what?

                                    After couple of hours the setup box started working fine with no issues. It is working fine now.

                                    I am very disappointed with the service provided by the videocon company.

                                    I am sure the agents are more interested in sending engineer but to help someone over the call.

                                    I read the same on social media when a man called; he was insisted to get the engineer instead of helping him.

                                    This incident made me unhappy because i am not only the victim.
                                    Today palak gandhi called me with regard to the same concern.

                                    I explained him the issue and asked for the compensation for the inconvenience and guess what? He gave me sorry for the inconvenience.

                                    I told him my setup box is ok if there would have been an issue with my setup box that i had never worked fine.

                                    Since the problem was from videocon’s side i was not able to see the channels.

                                    He said then why other customers didn’t face the same issue. This is the stupid question i have ever heard.

                                    If the problem is with my stb why is it working now? This is the technical world nothing can happen automatic.

                                    If the problem is with not my setup box then there could be 4 possibilities
                                    1. The agents were sleeping at night

                                    2. They didn’t want to process my request

                                    3. They were more interested in sending engineer out instead of helping

                                    4. Or may be they are drunk because i read on social media that the videocon agent was sounding drunk and was babbeling.

                                    Immediately i sent email to videocon for the same.
                                    I think after reading my email they have actually processed my requested and

                                    The stb started showing all the channels which i was cent percent that there is nothing wrong wih mt stb.

                                    Finally i wasted 3 hours and for the match i did the recharge ended.

                                    I left very disappointed that i spent rs.360 specially to watch my fav. Match is ended.

                                    A complete waste of money and time.

                                    I asked palak gandhi to ge t me the refund and let my stb work for 30 days for such a big inconvenience that i have face.

                                    I suffered for nothing.
                                    But he was interested in saying sorry rather helping me an noting down my concern.

                                    I don’t need sorry. I need proper compensation.
                                    He said the problem is not from their side. I proved him that

                                    If the problem is with my stb then why it is working fine now? With no issues.

                                    Nothing can be automatic in this technical world.
                                    So if the problem is not with my stb then it could be an issue from videocon’s side right?

                                    Do you agree with me?

                                    He agreed, i asked for the compensation. He said sorry as a compensation.
                                    Tell me if you guys agree that there were some issues from your side may be satellite or anything else why should i suffer?

                                    Right?

                                    I need compensation but palak gandhi called me with a mindset that there is no compensation for the same.

                                    Please ask someone who can manage this issue. Get someone who can atleast talk sensible. He was not at all good in terms o[censored]nderstanding customer.

                                    He agreed the issue from videocon’s side still refused to compensate.

                                    If you agree then compensate for my inconvenience. This is [censored] that even though you agree your mistake you are denying for the compensation.

                                    If you guys cannot then let me introduce videocon service to other services such as airtel, sun, tata sky & yes consumer court.

                                    Once again,

                                    Get me the compensation or else i would love to send the same email to their fans on social media. This can help videocon to compensate and improve their service for sure.

                                    Again one final time.

                                    You agreed your mistake after i proved that the problem was from your side. Now i am asking for the compensation.

                                      I had registered a complaint with videocon d2h for changing my remote since the previous remote was not working. The complaint i registered was on 18th november, 2016 with complaint id 47963660 which they said would be resolved within 24 hours. This complaint wasn't resolved and so i registered another complaint (Complaint id:[protected] on 19th november, 2016 when they said it would be resolved within 8 hours. After 8 working hours, it was still not resolved so i registered my 3rd complaint on 20th november, 2016 (Complaint id:[protected] which they said would be resolved within next 8 hours. Again no one showed up to resolve the issue and when i contacted videocon they registered a 4th complaint (Complaint id:[protected] and said it would be resolved within 8 working hours.

                                      I am unable to use my tv since 4 days because of this and everyday my videocon balance is being deducted. The remote charges are rs. 325 which i am ready to pay but no engineer is turning up at my house for getting the issue resolved. Also, videocon monthly charges are very high (Rs. 650) which i don't mind paying but i expect a prompt customer service when the charges are so high. I would be pleased if you can get this solved for me as soon as possible.

                                        I registered a complaint on 14th nov 2016. The issue is that my videocon tv is not working & it's still in warranty period. After logging complaint, i received a call on same day & service officer visited on same day & collected the service charge & assured me that issue will be resolved in 2-3 days. It's been 7 days now & i haven't got any positive response from videocon. Service officer also visited on 19th nov'16 and collected the tv set to get it repaired but still it is not working. I called the area incharge today in hope of some resolution but didn't get any satisfactory response from his side as well. If this is the manner in which videocon deals with it customers then it is not at all acceptable. Kindly resolve the same asap. Pfa bill details for same.

                                        It's been 15 days since I have registered complaint. No solution have been provided by your side as of now. I am taking regular follow up with your Area In charge Mr. Sudhir ([protected]) but his response is not up to the mark. Today when I called on customer care no. the representative informed me that my complaint has been closed. Is this how Videocon handle customer complaints I.e. without providing appropriate solution and without informing customer the complaint has been closed on its own. Even the service charge has been collected but no solution has been provided. Highly dissatisfied with this response.
