On 22nd of feb2012, I paid rs-2699 and got a mobile phone videocon/v1675 with order no[protected] from NEXT retail india limited. from very first minut after receiving the set receiver of the mobile set is not working properly. i think is has a manufacturing defect becos an obstacle in receiver area is seen. I seriously request to get it return as soon as or replace it and oblize.

    Videocon Mobile — billing complaint

    my vediocon mobile number is [protected]. with out permission they are deducting for love ki despensory and voice chat. I sent messages many times to 5466 to deactivate voice chat. Even then they are charging Rs.2 daily. I am not satisfied with their service. They are cheating their customers. I phoned to 121 customer care and 198 also. They assured they will deactivate it . But they are not doing so. Due to this Iam in severe depressed condition. Even I sent e-mail to them. But they are not responding . Please look into this complaint and do the needs in urgent.
    vediocon service is not satisfactory. They are billing with out permission for unnecessary services

      As i noticed many times, vas services get activated automatically on my videocon gsm number, and we get charged for it.. And customer care never gets connected after trying calls lot.. And we have no optoin but loose money/balance with no reason..

        I purchased a refrigerator on January 2010. It is double door frost free type. Now the problem is that cooling is only in freezer . In lower portion there is no cooling . When refrigerator is on , we can hear a peculiar type of sound coming from freezer. We can see ice on freezer window. I swithed of the refrigerator for one day, then it starts working . The same problem is repeating last two months.

            i brought a videocon colour television on 30 jun 2011. the television didn't start on 16 jan this year, as it was in warranty period we called customer support. they send a technician adesh joshi who rectified the problem.
            now again on 01 feb the television didn't start, after complaint another technician came and checked the television and told that he will come after two days. on 06 feb again adesh joshi came and consulted other technician regarding problem and television started.
            now the television didn't start next day. the sms was given to videocon customer care that problem not sorted and they replid that your complaint is reopened. till now everyday i 'm calling customer support at delhi about three times a day, they are telling that urgent reminder is being sent. the service center in dehradun is replying that your problem will be sorted out within 48 hours but till now no one has come to check the television. i'm fed up of calling dealer, customer care and service centre and getting no responce. plz help

              Dear Sirs,
              Thank you very much for providing this platform to share my experience and views about the products of a company.
              I had purchased VIDEOCON WASHING MACHINE FULLY AUTOMATIC CONZERVE 5800 about 3 years back. From the day one, this machine is giving me trouble of one or the other nature. First year, it was in warrenty period, company provided me with basic services with some chargable parts etc. But from 2nd year, I had to go for AMC with thier associates M/S. TEKCARE INDIA PVT.LTD. Mumbai. I have paid Rs.1330 for last year also and now again due on 26.3.2012. Now Tekcare people are telling me that they will not renew the AMC as parts are not available with the company and my machine had many complaints in last 3 yrs. Is it my fault ?? I had requested the company and the Tekcare people to give report to company for the defects in the piece so that i can get some replacement kind of things, but of no use. Last year only, Tekcare had refused to renew my AMC, but then i wrote a mail to vediocon company and finally to CHAIRMAN, MR VENUGOPAL DHOOT to sort out the issue. Some how they intervene and compeled the Tekcare to renew my AMC.
              My isssue here is if company, accepts that this piece was faulty from the day one, they why they dont replace the same and solve the matter. I had lots of sufferings fromt this machine.
              I want solution in the matter. Can your plateform help me anyway to me in this case ???

                I have lodged a complaint to Gorakhpur's service center about supply of a charger/data cable for my mobile phone model V 1604 last 5 months ago. Service center is not taking interest in such supply. Hence my phone is idle for last 5 months. After so many phone calls to that service center there is only one answer that the company is not supplying any part.

                  I had very bitter experience with the distributor of videocon in Dombivli, M/s Digiworld. the only mistake i did was , that i straight went to them without checking price anywhere, They overcharged me

                  When i realised this I enquired for same product and i was stunned when the other dealer offered me the same product by about 5000 cheaper

                  on approaching Digiworld again, and offerring them that i will pay complete amount in one go, by card, they just offered me Rs 1500 discount on earlier highly quoted price of Rs 33000

                  Can anyone take cognisance of this?

                  Is there any forum to ensure that the customers are not overcharged?

                      The service technician of Videocon who came to attend to our complaint of the spinner of the washing machine not working instead of getting the machine working tried to cheat us and walk away with the PCB of the machine saying it was faulty.When we insisted that he fix back our PCB as washing and draining was being performed he did so, but he failed to rectify our complaint about the spinner.

                      I gave 2 complaints - one on 29 /12 /2011 (MYS[protected])

                      and the 2nd one on 5/1 /2012 (MYS[protected])

                      But no service technician came to repair our machine.

                      Hence I was forced to engage another mechanic and asked him to get a new PCB on 22nd Jan 2012.He bought a new PCB costing Rs 2000/- on 25th Jan and fixed it .Yet the spinner did not work.

                      Then on opening the panel near the water inlet valve we found that the wires of the spinner had been disconnected.On reconnecting the wires the machine spinner started working with our old original PCB( which was said to be faulty by the videocon technician).

                      Due to the deficiency in service and the cheating and harassment meted out to us by the by the videocon service technician we have incurred a loss of Rs 2000/-(For new PCB) + service charge for the mechanic.

                      We have already lodged a protest against the technician for not attending to our complaint and disconnecting the spinner wires with customercare at Videocon.

                      Companies should employ honest technicians and not unscruplous technicians who try to cheat gullible customers.

                            I purchased a videocon refrigerator model no VDC-VAE 183SG RDA on[protected] from a local dealer soundarya shopping mall in Gajuwaka. On[protected] my servant in regular maintenance he try to remove excess formed ice from deep freezer with a knife, by accidentally he made a small hole in deep freezer. From that time onwards my refrigerator stopped cooling inside. I gave a compliant through videocon toll free number and they given me a complaint number viz[protected]. After two day one of the local refrigerator repair shop man came to me and he said, he is authorized service man for videocon in Gajuwaka and he is demanding 2500/- rs for repairing for my refrigerator (cost of the refrigerator is 6800/- rs). In my discussion with him the complaint of my refrigerator is loose of gas through the hole made by my servant. so cost of gas charging and repair of the deep freezer 2500/-. i want know is it right to exploit the customer for service the refrigerator with nearly half the amount of refrigerator as service charge. Now i am in dilemma, whether to repair the refrigerator by paying 2500 as service charge or sell the refrigerator as scrap and buy a new one (other than Videocon)

                              I HAVEN'T DIALED ANY REQUEST OR REPLIED TO THEIR ANY SMS THEN HOW CUM MY SERVICE GOT STARTED?
                              THAN I AM DIALING TO MANY TIMES COSTUMER COMPLAIN NUMBER 198 / 121 BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE.
                              THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED TO ME ONLY WITH MY FRIENDS & FAMILY ONES ALSO..VIDEOCON IS PROVIDING LOW CALL RATES PLANS BUT AT THE SAME TIME CHEATING PEOPLE ALSO WITH SUCH FRAUD EFFORTS BY STARING OR IMPOSING UNACCEPTED SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER OF VIDEOCON MOBILE SERVICES.

                                Hi,

                                Service center is asking for paid warranty of Rs 450 under warranty period.
                                I have Videocon V1750 mobile and service center is saying that your mobile software require to be re-formated but they are asking for paid warranty of Rs 450 because phone is asking for Phone Lock code which I had not entered. It happened due to SIM change which seems that was a default setting.
                                I had visited to Service Center in Gurgaon at Universal Telecom and Traders, L G -6, Devi Palace, Opp Raj Cinema, Old Delhi Road, Gurgaon.
                                My Purchage Date is 05/12/2011.

                                  Please see the compliant given below. They sail they get in touch with me shortly. For the past 15 days, I have been complaining to Videocon Mobile service provider. But no response. I think, they are cheater. I have been calling 198 Number too. But always it says, all the officers are busy and line is getting disconnected. What ever the number you try, it says all the executives are busy and line is getting disconnected. It is a fraud company. I advise, no body should take this Sim card. Every body should close this connection. Let me see and wait for 2 more days for them to re-act. Other wise, I will be going to consumer court.

                                  I have using Videocon Sim for the past many months, for the past 2 months, I have been facing the same problem and took it up with shop person Mr.Saravanan, Paper Mills Road Opp to Apollo Pharmacy, whom I have recharged. But he did not help us. The complaint is I have charged Paying Rs.148 both in November and December and ref No i have given as above. Both the time, I have not given free talk time for that package. Rs. 30 /- worth talk value supposed to be given for that package.

                                      RESPECTED SIR,

                                      MY COMPLAINT IS REGARDING FRAUD SERVICES BY VIDEOCON MOBILE SERVICES..
                                      I USE SIM OF VIDEOCON FROM SIX MONTHS APPROX..BUT THIS COMPANY I HAVE FOUND THAT STARTS SEVICES WITHOUT ASKING FROM US.!
                                      AS MY EXAMPLE PERSONAL..YESTERDAY NIGHT I SLEPT & SWITCHED OFF MY CELL & WHEN I WAKE UP IN MORNING THERE WAS A MESSAGE AS "YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED 38/- RS FOR CALLER TUNE ACTIVATING"
                                      I HAVEN'T DIALED ANY REQUEST OR REPLIED TO THEIR ANY SMS THEN HOW CUM MY SERVICE GOT STARTED?
                                      THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED TO ME ONLY WITH MY FRIENDS & FAMILY ONES ALSO..VIDEOCON IS PROVIDING LOW CALL RATES PLANS BUT AT THE SAME TIME CHEATING PEOPLE ALSO WITH SUCH FRAUD EFFORTS BY STARING OR IMPOSING UNACCEPTED SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER OF VIDEOCON MOBILE SERVICES.

                                      SO I WANT YOU TO TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY SERIVCES OR AS A SYSTEM ON WHOLE SO THAT IT CANNOT HARRASE CUSTOMERS IN FUTURE.!

                                      Videocon Mobile Services — Wrong charge of call rates

                                      My no is [protected] i recharged with 17rs STV on 23 March through paper voucher in that i should get 25p/min all india callin but from that day its charging me 50p/min i registered complaint regarding that they are saying me you are being charged correctly as per plan since 23 March uptill now the problem is the same for that i again did the recharge of 17STV on 7-April-2011 but still its charging me the same and customer care hang up the phone on me saying sorry sir no solution worst services i have had in my life...
                                      They are also not refunding my wrongly charged balance

                                        Am using an Videocon Mobile Network since the last one year. But from the Past Three months am getting an 15 to 20 Calls & Plenty of SMS's every day from the Network reagding their Promotional Offers/ Caller Tunes/ VAS.... It is so irritating... Even sometimes the calls is coming at late nights like 9.30 pm... If we tried to access their customer care.. we never get line.. at-least have to try 40-50 times then only it will get connected... So before one month Luckily i got their customer care line and i activated the "Do-Not-Disturb" service also. They said maximum of weeks time the service will get activated(!!) and you don't get any of these disturbances... After a weeks time it went bad to worse... The no.of call got increased and my pre-paid balance also getting deducted automatically and after a day or two am receiving a SMS that you activated this service/that service like that... As of now Rs. 150/- has been deducted from balance towards 5 Different services... Now am receiving 25 more sms's towards these services... From that day am trying to reach the Customer Care... After passing a through a Very looong computerized menu my will transferred to the executive and it will get disconnected immediately every time...

                                        Its is a very pathetic cheating... and a serious crime we can say...... i assume there would be lot of persons loosing their money's every day on this cheating... these peoples are attracting the customers showing their low tariff rates and earning more than that with these kind of cheating....

                                        I hope the necessary actions would be taken to stop them not doing these non-sense anymore...

                                        Dear Sir/Madam!

                                        I am Idea customer form last 6 years! and optated NDNC (National Do not call ) but still i receive messages and telemarketing calls. about that i already made complaint to Idea several time but they not resolved yet, kindly help me out to overcome from this issue

                                        Videocon — Advertisement calls

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am using a prepaid sim card of videocon mobile services. Since I got connection, I am regularly getting call from a particular number. It asks me to subscribe to their ringtone, some times to cricket news alerts, sometimes offers of new prepaid offers. I tried to block to the number but they did not comply with my request. I am so frustrated that
                                        If they do not stop calling me I will go to consumer court to file a formal complaint.
                                        The number that is harrasing me is [protected]. Please help me block this number.
