    Hi Team,

    I had ordered a Videocon V1666 handset on 06/05/12 and it was delivered by First-flight courier service (C/N LD3232566) on 11/05/12. The features of this handset is not the same as specified on the Website. It claims to have a 2.00 Mega Pixels camera which is not the case in fact. The camera clarity in not like a 2.00 Mega Pixels camera and it is like a VGA camera. This handset is very poor in detecting the network signals. I tried to check the same SIM card with different handsets and found that those have better network detecting service. I missed so many important calls because of this fault. Moreover headset slot has got some problem rather its faulty. When I insert the headset jack it gives some tapping noise and the left side speaker has got a very low volume.

    I would like to go for a different handset of same cost and but different company.

    Please revert how will you help me to resolve this.

      Sir,with regard i would like to inform to you that,i purchased a VideoconPhone(model no.V1688,dt.28.7.11)by the sincere request of my local delar ,
      because i am a diehard fan of nokia. I thought let it be tried once, and i proved myself right,among the friends and relatives and thy also
      acknowledge that Videocon is also a good home product.But suddenly the battery back up of the phone was decreased for last 7days.I was continued with the phone by charging frequently.But last Thursday the phone was hanged repeatedly n the touch screen had gone into the dead condition.

      Then i moved to your recommended services center situated at Sai Complex,Berhampur,Ganjam,Odisha.They advised me that software of the phone have to be changed and the phone will be ok.I repeatedly asked them will all the problem be solved(including *TOUCH SCREEN),by *replacing
      software,they told yes.After handing over my phone i waited a long,then they came n told the touch screen will have to be changed.I thought i
      was betrayed by them and after a lengthy conversation,and dissatisfaction i was ready to change by making payment.

      But they are now telling,i have to wait for 30 days to get the Screen,because stock is not available,when i want to conform the exact
      date,they simply told it is uncertain,because the head office is not supporting,and the service is very poor with compare to nokia or samsung.

      So i regretted a lot,and waiting your kind steps to solve the problem."All the friends and relatives are laughing at me".

        I brought your V1750 hand set with great pleasure but it had many complaints such as speeker problemas ,mice problem ,range problem ,touch screen problem in the beginning itself . I gave it to the nearest service center 3 times but the complaints had not eliminate completely , I am very disappointed now, due to by your mobile at first and your bad service from the Cochin and Manjery centers secondly . At last its company battery has been seen damaged at the time of giving it to me after the third time of service , so I gave it to the service center again last day ,they say it has take 1 week for return it . The appearance of the hand set has been seen damaged.         Videocon V1750 — Non Responsive Customer Care and Care Zone at Jodhpur

        Hi,
        This is Rashid Khan. i have bought Videocon V1750 Mobile on 7/4/2010. Within a week it starts going on hang. I talked to Videocon Customer Care for a meaningful solution but no one treat it accurately. They just said check mobile to city Care Zone centre. But there also the person says "YE TO HOTA HII REHTA HAI SIR - ITS NOT A BIG ISSUE"; its this what a Customer care executive need to tell.

        Anyways, after sometime (after 2 months of mobile buying) its touch screen dont work for some area. i had gone to Care ZOne again - they said it will take only 1 week to correct this problem. But now a month has gone but nothing has happened with my mobile.
        In the middle of it i had talked to Videocon Customer Care several times and on every call they provide me a unique complain numbers (SUC[protected]_IB and RAZ[protected]_IB)and assure me that they will provide me feedback within 2 days and mobile will get ready within 3-4 days. But here also nothing has happening.

        So the issue is I buy a mobile; it got corrupted within 2 months of sale; one month gone after provide that to Care Zone; Talk to Videocon Customer Care but nothing had happened.
        So DO I BUY THIS MOBILE OF 7400/- Rs. JUST TO PUT AT THE SERVICE CENTRE AND BE MYSELF WITHOUT MOBILE??????

        Please provide me feedback ASAP.
        i agree with this as same problem im facing with the same model.
        i bought on15 feb 2010. at present they took my phone box and asking to replace the cell with new handset but didnt have it in stock.. dealer is asking to take other brand phone. waiting for the solution from the company

          This is continuation of my ealier complaint.
          One service namely one97_Loveki Dispensary was activated without my knowledge.I brought it to the notice of service provider through 198 phone no and I received a message the service is de activated and Rs30 has been credited to my account.But so far it is not credited.The complaint no 198 is not at all attended by any one always a message that all the V help officers are busy try after sometime is played.When contacted through e mail no responce is received.
          To the best of my knowledge 1)MOD subscription,2)Callertune Rental subscription,3)Renewal of callertune rental subscription,4)one97_Loveki Dispensary subscription etc were activated and an amount of nearly Rs.105/-was deducted from my account.
          First two services were activated when I was in abroad.
          I request you to kindly direct the service provider to pay back the deducted amount to gether with compensation to my mental agony.

          I have never subcribed for any offers for Airtel. Still I am receiving the message "You have been renewed for Bollypack subsciption service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs.10".

          No one is receiving my call when I call customer care and it is not providing the options in English. Hence I am not able to reach customer care.

          Videocon Mobiles — service activation without my knowledge

          I am a customer of videocon mobile more than a year.My number is [protected].
          During[protected] and[protected] I was travelling in Australia.I did not use the phone during this period and the sim was with me in Australia.
          during my absence my service provider activated some services without my consent/knowledge and charged for the same.And they were renewed without my consent.Since the complaint no 198 is not available i sent a mail not to renew the services and refund the amounts deducted without my knowledge.Some more service was also provided without my knowledge and amount deducted for it.
          My request for refund was not acceeded to by the company.
          I request you to kind make arrangements to recover the money deducted from me for services provided when I was away from country and without my knowledge/consent.

            Service center person come to my house and change the timer and he charged rupees 700. But after that my refrigerator is not working properly. So I again called the same person, he told that the refrigerator has to be sent service center and they will send the concern person for that. After that they are not doing anything. So my refrigerator is still in faulty condition.

              I am Dr Karan Thakkar. I have purchased a Videocon A/C from Kohinoor Televideo Pvt Ltd at Lamington road, Mumbai on the 29/10/11.

              After a couple of months o[censored]sing it, I noticed that after about 1-2 hours o[censored]se, there is condensation of water droplets on the air fins and surrounding area of the A/C. This water then slowly starts to drip on the table below. It has happened many times that the water droplets fell on my mobile and laptop.

              I called the help line who very promptly sent the engineer. He said that there was less gas which resulted in the 'sweating', and so he filled the gas. Even after this the problem continued. After that he was sent two-three times more and every time he would open up the A/c and clean the filters and do something to the outlet pipes and say that the problem will be solved but the problem persisted. All the time the engineer insisted that nothing was wrong with the A/C even after I showed him the numerous water droplets condensed on the air outlet on the fins and water falling on the table below.

              And then I noticed one more problem: If I have set the temperature to say for example 22, then automatically the display after a few seconds would show 24 or some times even 27. I told this to the engineer who was not ready to believe me so I shot a video and showed it to him. Even then he said that the display was changing from the set temperature as it was showing the room temperature. But I checked that this feature was not available in my A/C model but he would not believe me.

              Finally, tired of the engineer I called the agency from where he came and asked them to send some else instead but to no avail. What they finally said was that they would be changing the water collection tray. I waited for two weeks but no call from them. Finally after repeated calls, he finally changed the tray but broke one attachment in the process. He fixed it with some glue and was trying to replace the same broken part but I objected. He didn't do anything for the fluctuating display. Then the engineer who had come with him today told him that there was problem with the display indeed and that they require to change the 'PC' attached to the display.

              The same problem has recurred even after changing the tray and water droplets continue to appear as before and fall on the table and things kept on it.

              I am fed up of this poor service and the poor quality of this brand new A/C.

              I demand a replacement instead of this A/C as I have been facing problems right since the time I have bought it and the engineers have only wasted my time ant the problem still remains and even some new problems have been created.

              I even sent a mail to them. I got a prompt reply from Harmeet Singh, Customer Service Dept., Videocon Industries Ltd.. saying that they would look into my problem and solve it at the earliest.
              But almost a week has passed since the mail and I have not received any communication from any one from videocon.

                This is Ravi Singh, I have a Videocon mobile prepaid connection that is [protected], On 26/4/2012 amount of 20 has been deduct from my balance, I have registered complaint on 28/4/2012 complain number is 94504384, customer executive told me that your balance has been refunded on Sunday that 30 April 2012, but yet no amount has refunded. i have also talk to customer executive many times but they are gave me satisfied answer or solution. A serious action should be taken against such a telecommunication companies who making fool the customer and creating problem to their service holder. I have that you have take serious action aginst this matter.

                  I logged complain about water leakage in indoor unit of Videocon Air-conditioner on 01.04.2012 on customer care. But no engineer turned up for repairing the same. Hence complain was logged once again on 11.04.2012 for the same cause. Complain was attended and charged Rs. 400/- as service charge without solving the problem and he assured to come back again to solve.                       I bought an videocon ac in July 2009 and in a span of 17 months, it stopped cooling; on complaint to service center, which was attended after 20 days, the service engineer said that there is leakage of gas; the AC has to be taken to workshop and which would charge not less than Rs. 3000 and it would take 3-4 days; whicle during purchase and installation by Videocon, it was clearly stated to me that the next refilling would be after 4-5 years.

                      Now i am clueless as i am not sure how much time this Rs. 3000 would make the AC run properly???

                        Sir I purchased videocon V1805 mobile from shopping indiatimes(www.shopping.indiatimes.com) but the invoice I got was not proper and invalid sir.My mobile got battery problem and become dead and when I took it to Videocon service center here in ahmedabad,they asked me for valid invoice for repairing my mobile purchased from shopping indiatimes.The invoice I got from shopping indiatimes doesnot have invoice no,mobile emei number and date of purchase of the product.I was very much frustrated and contacted indiatimes many time via mail but they didn’t took my problem seriously and doesn’t sent me valid invoice thus doesn’t helped me.After much frustration I got my mobile repaired from here local mobile shop but as I repaired my mobile locally instead of repairing it in videocon service center my warranty of 1 year expired.I suffered alot because of shopping indiatimes and now iam using this mobile with expired warranty.I want a new mobile with valid invoice as a compensation for my problems from shopping indiatimes.Shopping indiatimes did fraud to me and its a fraud company so pls take strict action against this company.

                          Your service mechanic has attended the complaint on 13.04.12. The fridge is still not working satisfactorily.
                          Cooling is not taking place in the lower compartment at all and in the deep fridge the cooling is much less than earlier.
                          I called your service mechanic Mr. Umair Khan for last three days. He assured that he will attend the problem but not attended .
                          This seems either he is not competent at all to rectify the problem or the quality of the fridge is so inferior that this is non rectifiable.This may be an in-herant reliability issue of your product.

                          Please let me know the means & ways to rectify the problem as I am fed up with your service support and it has become a regular task for me to lodge the complant on every week, spoil couple of hours with your mechanic , even though these are not yielding any result.

                          I am very much upset . Please depute any competent technician to attend the issue for the last time on tomorrow after 18.00 hrs, or else I will be escalating this to suitable forum.

                          I have purchased a refrigerator of Videocon Make ,on 27.03.10 , Model - VAL-233 IBH.
                          The refregerator was working satisfactoryly .
                          All on a sudden it stops working and I logged a complant in your Customer Care on 01.04.2012, Vide Call No- DEH[protected].
                          1) As per your confirmation you service engineer Umair Khan ( Mobile No[protected] attended the problem in the evening of same day and after lot of trial with permutation & combination with some difrost timer & overload relay , which he was carrying in his bag in loose condition , he decleared that the problem is resolved. He took Rs 1278/- from me and went off saying that the fridge will take some time to attain the cooling level.
                          Unfortunately 8 days passed , still it is not cooling.
                          2) Moreover during collecting the repairing cost he was asked to give the receipt but he told that it will be sent through courior, which I am yet to receive.
                          3) After pressurising too much for the receipt , he has given me the portion of his service job card mentioning the amount he has taken.
                          4) During discussion on the excessive bill he was claiming from me , he told that the overload relay was defective because the fridge was not working and during the testing what he was doing the defrost timer got damaged. When Idenied to pay him the price of the defrost timer as this was damaged by him , he started arguing in an indiscent manner.
                          5) He was adament to take the failed part with him. I strongly opposed that when I have paid the full price , why should I allow him to take the part,and finally he left the part with me.
                          6) None of the parts he was carrying was in videocon original spare parts packing , hence doubt for spurious parts being used is also strong.
                          Please look into the matter.
                          As a customer I am highly dissatisfied with the service you have offered. I am feeling that I am being cheated.
                          Please look into it and do the needful at the earliest.
                          The copy cash memo & repairing bill is attached herewith for your reference.

                          Videocon Refrigerator — Very poor customer service

                          I had registerd a copmlaint with videocon customer care two months earlier, as soon as I brought the referigerator, there is still no response from them.The most irritating part about there service is the funny excuses they give when you call them.like concernd person on leave(I think he is on leave 365 days a year)
                          I am sick and tired of calling them now, and I am contomplaiting legal action against them., I would recomend all of you not to buy any of the videocon products for the kind of disrespect and service they provide the customer.
                          The complaint with the referigerator I brought was a leaky door through which cool air was comming out.I dont know if only Home Tech services which provide services here in Kochi are so lousy, anyway I think videocon sholud take up this matter very seriously.

                          Videocon — Videocon new fridge not working due to bad product quality and service

                          Most of the people were advising not to go for Videocon product as their product quality is not good; service response is poor. I find its true when looking at websites complaints. Still I made mistake and bought Videocon 179L refrigerator in Jun 2009 at Vinay Associates, Ameerpet, Hyderabad Ph[protected]. He convinced, there is no problem at all with service centers, after purchasing product immediately Videocon engineer will come and give a demonstration. Which is not happened till date?
                          I am not worried on this part but sad story starts when fridge door was damaged in mid of Oct 2009. I gave complaint at above shop and after couple of days I got message that it is registered with Home Express HYDAK090108 contact Tel:[protected]. Engineer arrived saw fridge condition. He said it will be repaired in 2 days. When he found fridge is under warranty he responded that he will check with company and call back to let me know the replacement status. Which is not happened till date?
                          I waited for few days and started following up to get answer “Sir don’t worry. Yes, it will be solved in 2 days. Thank you for calling us”. Now more than one month my new brand fridge is in 2 pieces [2 in 1 – looks like fridge but using as cupboard without door]. I started begging to their managers, Jay Prakash [protected] Laxmi [protected], from past 15 days to solve issue. They are fooling me on every call “Sir, we will give you replacement or some other solution immediately”.
                          I experienced when your product is under warranty then no service response as their margin is not their. Where as if not under warranty then you have all solution running at your door as you need to pay on the spot.
                          I pray to God give more business to Videocon but Videocon you please don’t cheat customer. We buy product not only for luxury but as a daily need from our savings out of which you are making enough profit.
                          Unfortunately this new model door can not be repaired by outside mechanic. I realized I made mistake that I did not hear people about Videocon [Home Express] customer service. Request to other buyers think and buy Videocon product.

                          Videocon Refrigerator — Poor safety

                          I had purchased a Videocon VAP 194 Eco Cool Plus refrigerator on 23.05.2010. Last night, while opening the fridge, the door came off and fell down. Had I not grabbed it in time, it could have seriously injured or killed my 16-month old grand son who was standing close by. What kind of safety is this? The fridge was checked by a company technician a few days ago for a different complaint but he did not say any thing about the condition of the door.

                              I called up videocon service help line no[protected] on 13th April (Friday) 2012 aftenoon re: non working of my fully automatic washing machine which I had purchased in 2007 from DASS &co. Karve Road ,Pune. and received following SMS after a while
                              "Dear Customer,your call has been registered with us .Kindly note call no.PUN[protected].For any future assistance call[protected]"
                              .Immediately I received another SMS as" Dear Customer,your complaint will be serviced by our engineer DHEERAJ LOKRE AND HIS CONTACT NO IS [protected]". I called back help line number to ask what time the engineer is likely to attend. The reply was "your machine will be serviced within 24 hours of receiving the call (i.e. on 13th April 3.00pm) . I tried to contact Mr. Lokre on his mobile but he NEVER answered my call. Ultimately Mr. Lokre visited on Saturday 14th April 2012 at about 3.30pm. This engineer could not find the fault ( it appeared that he was a novice not properly trained by Videocon) . he started using hammer and screw driver to unscrew the pulsator disc. Finally he said he will go to office on 15th(Sunday) morning at 10.30 am and come with a senior engineer. I asked him that 15th being Sunday will office be open? he said " we work on all 7 days. I called help line on 15th morning and was told that some engineer will definitely come. At 6.00pm when no one turned up, I called again and this time I was told that engineers donot work on Sundays . That was rude shock to me. On Monday whole day I was waiting for call but nobody turned up.On Tuesday same story...no one called. SInce I had to go out of Pune I cancelled the call for service.
                              It appears there is TOTAL lack of co-ordination between Call centre and field engineers. Every time I called up call centre a different person was taking the call and I had to repeat the whole story (including location and direction of my residence). And I got different answers from the person who took my call. Except on Sunday evening the person told me that engineers are Not available on Sundays. All other telli callers were promising that they work 24 x 7 and engineer will definitely call even though it is Sunday.Only in the evening of 15th A person from call centre told the truth that they at call centre simply record the complaint and give a complaint number and pass it on to their field engineers. After that they have absolutely no control over who will attend the complaint and at what time etc. This is pathetic situation. I shall never buy a Videocon product if there is such horrible after sales service.

                                We order a videocon electric cooker from E-MartIndia on march 4th 2012 till now we are not received it. When ever we call the customer support guys for the status. they keep on saying please wait for 10 more days. How long should a customer can wait after paying the entair amount for the item. This is the worst service I ever face in my life. I hate this E-MartIndia and their services. I request others even never ever order any item from EMartIndia as it is like a bogus.

                                  I made a Videocon AC service request on 10the April,2012, for my Videocon window AC 1.5 ton.
                                  I received a conformation request sms for engineer on 14the April,2012. Expecting to receive a call for thee service of thee below mentioned AC request , however to my dismay did not receive any call. I called on thee no. received for thee engineer, however was informed by thee engineer theat thee request s not being processed by him and instead provided me a different no. to call. I called on thee no. i.e , provided by thee engineer , i was informed thee service men are on thee way, i waited for thee entire day on thee 14the April, however no one turned up to address my service request.

                                  Again on thee 15 the i called thee same no. spoke to engineer and was told thee service men had been busy entire day , however for sure will be coming to my address before 3:00 p.m . After 3:00 p.m i was called back thee no. however was given repeated assurances regarding thee service but no one turned up. I called thee Videocon Service no. [protected], complaining regarding thee same, and was again given thee same assurance.

                                  Till date i have not received a call from thee engineer nor from thee Videocon service executive regarding my complaint status.

                                  Herein , i am highly dissatisfied withe thee quality of service and complaint handling procedure of thee company.

                                  As a customer i would appreciate timely resolution of thee services and would like to feedback thee company regarding thee same.

                                  I am working in LTD company we have two window A/cs in a Container, we purchased 1 year 3 months before, 25th May we called for service through the service center number[protected],

                                  They answer me with in twenty four hours they will attend the problem, and gave a complaint number CHE[protected], CHE[protected],

                                  But they attend after one day, and service engineer check the A/c. the problem was in the board and took the board for service, and ask for service charge 350/ A/c, (reason the product exceed the warranty period) and we pay 500 Rs and they inform us within a day we will try to rectify the board or otherwise you want to change by New board.

                                  After that up-to Five days there was no response from they, we call the service engineer, he gave the in-charge persons phone number, and the in-charge respond badly.

                                  Again we call the customer service they promise we within 24 hours we will rectify the problem and gave another complaint number CHE[protected], but up-to 24 hours there was no response again we call the customer care they informed us 24 hours means, 24 working hours,

                                  But we wait up-to 3 days no response from they, then we decide to Quit it and ask them to return the material through the Customer care. Our company was a civil construction company, according to the bad service we our problem not rectified last 10 days.

                                  Now we decide to go for new one from the better manufacturer with ultimate service.

                                      In May 2011, I replaced the power kit in My Videocon LCD at a cost of Rs.3400/-. I had purcahsed this LCD from Vijay Sales. In Dec, 2011, my LCD stopped working. Videocon technician again advised that the power kit has stopped working and it should be replaced at a cost of Rs. 3600/-. this is ridiculous. Is a customer expected to pay Rs.3600/- every 6 months to watch a TV on theVideocon LCD. I lodged a complaint both with Videocon and Vijay Sales. both are not owning up the responsibility. There are only 2 possibilities, either the Videocon Technician placed a defective power kit in my LCD, if not the new power kit replaced by him is defective. Compnay is responsible in both cases. I should get a replacement free of cost from Videocon.
