Sir,
I bought a Videocon split AC under staff quota on 26th Sept, 2009. When I opened the box, I found the delivered piece to be a used one. On contacting the company (by phone), I was told that it has happened by mistake and it will soon be replaced by a fresh piece. When nothing happened for 3 days, I approached the company and they asked for a simple application as formality and assured me that i will get a fresh piece by evening. I did not get a new piece. Everyday for a week, I called up the company and everyday i was assured that I will get a fresh piece by evening. It has been more than 15 days and I have not got the fresh piece. Now the company refuses to accept that the mistake was on their side. What should I do? Please guide me

    I have purchased a Satellite d2h DVD of Videocon on Sunday i.e 4th Oct 2009 because of the good reviews of the Company. But after the purchase I have seen that the installation manager of satellite DVD , to my utter surprise was not aware of the features of the facilities of DVD.

    The reception of the D2H is so bad and engineer tried to go away with just adjusting the colours. Lastly he also agreed that reception in contrast was not correct, so signals are not coming correctly. moreever only 10 -12 channels was received by the dish.

    If in just 2 months of launch the company is not showing seriousness then u can imagine how far this product will do.

    At the customer service centre, a lady named supriya whose code is PC0240 told that videocon engineer is free after one month. it is just surprse to see that D2H product is launched and company has no engineer so see the customers. Sir u can see what will the reputation of the company.

    To ur utter surprise , earlier i was praising videocon for it s product now I am praising videcon for launch of faulty prodduct in the market.

    After repeated request my complaint is launched, in a reputed company by ur representative supriya code PC 0240.

    A customer purchases a product for his convenience and ur engineer doesnot now hw to install it , no engineer is avialable to solve customer problem.

    sir please see to it what can be done

    On my complaint one engineer vistied on 7th .10.2009, but to my surprise he brought a new satellie DVD that was also faulty. when we asked to him to give telephone of videocon officials he declined to give telling his job would be in trouble.

    Sir , now u see a company like urs is sending faulty items to customers. moreover ur company is accepting installation report without customer signature.

      We booked a Videocon semi automatic washing machine from Viveks Nanganallur on 26th September 2009 inthe name of R.Sridhar.I have not received the product yet (2nd October).
      I have been interacting with Mr.Viswanathan -Branch Manager of Viveks Nanganallur.The promised me to deliver the product on 29th and then said 30th before 3 pm.When I called up int he morning around 11am on 30th they said it will be delivered today before 3pm.Even after 3pm I didnot get the product.When I went and asked them they said today is month end ...tomorrow is audit ..we can only deliver the product tomorrow after 7:30pm.But even after 7:30pm on 1st I didnot get the product and then they said its not in our hands Videocon guys didnot deliver the product and we just promised you based on their words that they will deliver on that day.

      Pls go for some other brand and we will give you best price.As I wanted only videocon I asked for a refund and they said they will refund my amount by cheque in the name of my card number either today or Monday (6th October).I just wanted to confirm is this the way Videocon responds to the customers dealers.If not tell me how will I get my Videocon product.

      I searched in other shops in Nanganallur,Chennai noone have got the Videocon washing machine. Iam very particular to buy Videocon product amd pls register this dealer complaint.I have also logged a complaint in Indian consumer forum.I need to have an answer for the mental tension I had for this one week and the amount of phone calls I made.Customer experience with Viveks was very bad.

        Dear Sir,

        I had purchased Videocon TV K-29 from Next Retail Showroom Panchkula vide bill no-532388 dated 19/10/08. Snice inception there was problem in picture performance for which i was making complain to customer care repeatedly. After six months picture tube of TV was replaced as it got fused.
        After replacement of picture tube also i am facing the same problem as picture screen has faulty picture & my complain at local service centre is going in vain.
        The above TV since starting is defective & needs to be replaced or my money to be returned.

          Dear Sir,

          I have purchased videocon washing machine m.no 6800 from Next chain of home appliances, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur.

          since last few months in this m/c, we were getting issues like drain leakage. M/c stopped suddenly, movement of washing system in one direction.
          We called your service team many times but did not get the permanent solutions.
          Today my washing machine is creating same problem again.
          This is new machine & under the warranty period .if your service team is not able to provide the permanent solutions,
          Pl changes the machine and provide me new machine without any problem.

          videocon Washing Machine — prob in drainage system.

          Dear Sir,

          I have purchased videocon Digital Sensi Logic Fully Automat ( K5200 ) washing machine
          SRL No : - 1880 500 from Kolkata .

          Since last few months in this m/c, we were getting issues like recycleing from the intial operatio in between without completing the full cycly of washing operastion .. As a result it is a never ending process to wash the clothes

          We called your service team many times but did not get the permanent solutions.

          Today my washing machine is creating same problem again.
          This imachine is old around one half year .i Kindly advise yoiur Service team to resolve the problem or else please changes the machine and provide me new machine without any problem.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            To start with is that we had a fully auto machine which gave us an excellent service for almost 13 yrs. But over a period of time we had to buy a new 1 ( model SA55 ) somewhere 3.5 yrs back. By now we have already spent Rs.3500/- ( for the GEAR BOX ) & now the machine is making some sort of squeaking sound. It is learnt that the SUSPENSION has been worn out. Now this particular suspension is not available with the authorised service station here in Goa.

            I would rather mention that company should stop manufacturing these appliances as they are not able to maintain the quality of the machine & it`s parts which are purchased from the vendors which infact have to undergo Q.C. CHECKED, which is surely not done or neglected.

            Is there any one who can have a proper vigil on such company`s as they are playing with peoples money? Contact : [protected]

              5 days before my refrigerator stopped working and i logged the complaint on the same day, Next day a guy came to my home and said the compressor will be changed he charged me Rs. 330. He also said that he shall come tomorrow and change the compressor but till this date (after 5 days) nobody came. I am continuously contacting both the customer care of videocon and the guy who came that day, but they are saying that compressor is not in their stock. All my food is getting scrapped without refrigerator. Please take an action.

                We bought a 29' Bazoomba 7642G TV on 2006 Diwali ( Almost 3 years back) from Vasu Retails- Galleria Gurgaon for Rs. 17,000/- . At that time i was told because of diwali co. is providing 5 yrs. warranty. Now TV picture tube is sparking and sparks for 2-3 minutes before starting. I have made complaints almost 100 times to call centre, messages and even call centre people contact me but no engineer comes/ called me to my place in Sushant Lok-I, Gurgaon. I am fed up from Videocon.

                I purches the ctv of premier sales Lakhimpur kheri dated on 25/01/2009 but creat the picture tube problem dated of 3/09/2009 .                   This is to inform you that I,Biswamoy Mukherjee purchased one Videocon semi autometic washing machine(Product code no. SA60RF,Serial No. 012406) from "Next Retail shop" at NagerBazar in Dumdum here in Kolkata on 01/10/2008 but sorry to inform you that from the begenning of the purchased it was given lots of problems in the last 11 months.I have complaind several times to your customer care department and after that several technician come and go but problem remains the same.Sometimes washing tub not functioning,sometimes is was draining problem and now spin tub not working.In the last three four days your two three technicians came here(complain no.KL 69901051 on 01/09/2009) and they were spent four to five hours in my house just like a workshop but still it is not working.One thing also clarify you that do not sent any technician further in my house because my house is not your workshop.So,I am requesting you please exchange this faulty machine immediatly otherwise I will have no option to lodge a complain to the consumer court regarding this faulty product against your company.In that case I will give you seven days time .Please treat as most urgent and revert back to at the earliest.

                  I had bought fully automatic washing machine in 2008 was faulty from the day one but they did not replace the same and i am still suffering and forcefully went for AMC which also now they refuse to accept saying that the company has declared this model as obsolete. But it is not my fault sir...
                  Be careful in buying any videocon products...

                      videocon CTV — Extended Warranty not attaining to complaint

                      Well we had purchased Videocon CTV Model no 29 VBF 29SDJ from Dass Electronics Aundh on 5th Sept 2009. Suddenly TV stopped working on 5th of Jan 2011 , we had taken extended service of 2 years from Dass itself . I have lodged the complain on 6th of this month on toll free no[protected] having complain no as 8650 and was assured at the time of complain that i will be attended within 48 hours , but till today i am fed up with the call centre executives since from yesterday after making round about 10 calls each executive tells me that my issue will be resolved nothing is coming up. I talked to their senior personnel but i dont know that they are doing? Since we have extended warranty we cant even go to other place .

                      Is this Extended Warranty Extra Smiles or Extra Cries? as they have mentioned on their logo Peace of mind or Trouble for mind?

                      Just need an answer.

                        Dear,
                        I purchased a CTV from 'SAHIB ELECTRONICS' Punjabi bagh, Bhopal in Dec. 2007. Model "Videocon Challenger 22" flat screen. In May 2008 I shifted to Navi Mumbai. In the starting of 2009 TV started display complaints. I contacted Videocon but authorized person told me this is not original Videocon TV.
                        I fooled by the dealer. Thie box is Videocon but inside machine is Delhi made local TV.

                        When I lodged my complaint to SAHIB ELECTRONICS' they denied, they simply tells me they had not sold the said TV set to me. Since I am in Navi Mumbai I cannot fight against them or go again n again to Bhopal.
                        I simply urge Videocon Company to check such people who spoil the name of big companies like Videocon. Definitely I am scared of Videocon now.

                            Trouble after repair

                            Dear Sir,

                            I have given a washing machine for repair of body at videocon service centre Balaji Ji Air Conditioning service centre at Bathinda, Punjab on 21 Aug 2009. I received back on 28 Sep 2009. But using at home the defect is noticed and it is informed to service centre and again the machine sent to service centre on 01 Sep 2009 and returned back the machine on 08 Sep 2009.                             Dear sir,

                            I have given the washing machine for body repair at your authorised service centre Balaji Ji Air Conditioning Service Centre at Bathinda on 21 Aug 2009 and received back on 28 Aug 2009 after checking at service centre. But at the time o[censored]sing at home, the machine is giving trouble and I contacted with service centre again and the machine is sent to service centre on 01 Sep 2009 after a week ie on 8 Sep 2009 washing machine taken back to home. But till dated the machine is not functional.

                            In view of the above you are requested to issue the instructions to service centre for repair of the same otherwise I am liable to take further necessary action.

                                Compressor faulty

                                I had purchased a Videocon Fridge in Goa-Margao. I had high regards for this company being a indian mltinational. Initially there were some minor problems witht the door functioning but I tolerated, but now the compressor has stopped working and the dealer tells me to pay Rs.5000/- for replacing the same.
                                In todays competitive world is there a scope left for the manufacturers to treat the customers in this fashion????..I am really...

                                videocon washing machine
                                complaint No [protected] lodged on 25/08/2009

                                Problum yet to be rectified - Requesting to replace with new machine
                                Dear sir,
                                we have a automatic videocon washing machine Model K 5200 purchased from NEXT, Vijayawada which we purchased on 08.10.2008 not even completed one year . We made a complaint on 25.08.09. regarding this. The service person had come and inspected the machine and informed the machine part to be replaced. On 31st August we have made enquiry what happened the repair. The receptionist informed that they informed the same to their head office part not received till date. Then we have contacted Mr. Subrahmanyam who is the in charge of the servfice centre. He informed that the machine in out of warranty, then I replied the machine is under warranty. Then he realised and asked us to send the machine to their centre for repair. We send the machine on 31st August 2009. Yesterday we have contacted for repair, she informed that will be ready on Tues day. Today (Tuesday) we have contacted number of times finally we came to know that the receptionist on leave and we reached Mr. Subrahmanyam. He replied that part is received today only, that will be replaced and repaired tomorrow .

                                The machine is in the warranty period The machine is giving trouble every month once or twice. We are calling the service persons, they are comming and rectifing to runn properly. In this time we hope the machine is great trouble and they lifted the machine to their service centre for repair. we requested to Mr. Subrahmanyam for new machine, he is given Mr. RamaRao's No [protected]. Mr. Rama Rao informed that he is look out of Vijayawada Area and he is given Mr. Dikshitulu's No [protected]. we have contacted him he replied politly and he replied that he is in out of station and will be come back tomorrow.

                                Our finall request is the machine is giving great trouble since day one. You are giving service n number of times. Now the machine no use since 25/08/2009. We are begging like any thing to the servents to clean our cloths by paying Rs.50/- every day. Apart from we have incurring the transport charges to & fro to your service centre and mental agony to our familymembers when we get the machine and what trouble with in few days. Because o[censored]nder warranty you are pass on number of services. The machine is going to out of warranty in next month. So please clarify all my doubts and replace the machine with brand new even semi automatic.

                                Understand the difficulty and read out the problem and replace the same. Which act of favourable consideration we will be more thank full to Videocon.

                                We expect favourable action in this regard

                                Videoco Horrible Terrible and Pathetic Service Center

                                NO WONDER WHY VIDEOCON IS IN LOSS, i prey it to go bankrupt

                                washing machine K5200 — machine not working

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have purchased one Videocon refrigerator having the details as above from M/s Aggarwal Electronics, D-12, J.J.Colony, Wazirpur, Gurdwara Road, Delhi-110052 showing chasis NO.[protected] vide their bill No. 658 dated 30/3/2008. I am regularly facing trouble with this product due to its faulty compressor. In the year 2008 I got it repaired from the dealer about four to five times as it was in warranty. Now I entered into an AMC Contract with M/s Keytek Solutions, D-62, Narahpur, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi-110085 on the advice of the mechanic who came to attend my complaint on 23/7/2009. He issued me a slip No. 1964 dated 23/7/2009 for Rs. 1200/- and attended the complaint but immediately after that the same problem arised. Now even my complaint is not being heard. I am feeling cheated by the supplier by selling me the faulty product of your company. After being exhausted I am approaching you to provide me a permanent solution to my product for which I am facing trouble for the last one year and so.

                                  I have no option but to request you to depute your engineer to find out any manufacturing defect which is not being handled properly by the mechanics sent by your company or by dealer. I look forward to your serious attention towards my harassment at the earliest otherwise I will lift the faith from Videocon products and will have no option but to take the action as deemed fit.

I am regularly facing trouble with this product due to its faulty compressor. In the year 2008 I got it replaced from the dealer as it was in warranty but immediately after that the same problem arised. Now even my complaint is not being heard. I am feeling cheated by the supplier by selling me the faulty product of your company.                                     I have puchaged new videocon washingmachine 6 months ago. It has water leakage problem now. I have called videocon washing machine customer car and lodged the complaint several times but no use.
                                    We have purchase the W/M Model - Multy 6800 from Rakesh Electronics Mankapur, Dist.- GONDA . Uttar Pradesh. But the Machine is not working properly. The Spin Tub starts the first time but after some time it Become stop while the time selector is ON. After 10 to 15 minuts it again starts.
                                    The complain is already Entered ( noted ) in the shop Complain Register about 4-5 months ago about 3 to 4 times. Engineer says now that the spin motor is faulty, but he is not comming to rectify the problem.
                                    Some Details of complains are as under,

                                    I requested to you please maintain my w/m at once and extend the warranty period about one year of machine for observe the capacity of machine.
