Sub:- Grievance against 1.5 ton Split AC Model No- VSR 52331

Dear Sir,

We want to draw your kind attention towards the few following things like.
We are using Videocon Electronics Appliances since past 15 years.
The products which we are using are –
Videocon Music System (Model – RT SX 47),
Videocon TV (Model - Bazooka),
Videocon Washing Machine (Model - 400 T),
Videocon TV (34’’ Jumbo), &
Videocon AC 1.5 Ton (Model VSR- 52331)

This time we are very much dissatisfied by Videocon Split AC, as this is not working since the beginning of this year. We bought this AC on 24 March 2008 from Next Retail Shop, Bajaj Towers, Raisen Road, Bhopal (MP). (Xerox Copy of invoice is enclosed for your ready reference). The AC has been billed in the name of my mother Mrs. Prem Lata Gupta.

We hardly used this AC in the month of May/June 2008 and when we start using this AC this summer the cooling was utmost nil. And we did the complaint, when the technician checked he told that there is no gas on it and given us estimation of Rs. 2000/- for gas filling.

We are extremely surprised by the performance of our new AC. We used it 2 months (May/June 2008) last year and 1 month (May 2009) this year. People had advised me to go for other brands Like LG, Voltas etc available in the market but b’coz of our hard core brand loyalty on VIDEOCON we prefer to buy Videocon products only.

Kindly look in to the matter personally and arrange to replace the whole unit with the new one without any extra charge.

    Sir,
    Myself Sanjeev Kumar s/o Sh. Rameshwar Dass purchased a Videocon Refrigerator (Model No-VCL263-1H and Sr. No.[protected] from Music Mahal, Flamingo Market, Hisar on dated July 15, 2009. From starting we found that it's cooling is very slow and the light inside it is not getting switched OFF after door closing. So we informed to the dealer. He told us to inform about this problem to SVC (53030) or a tollfree No. I registered my first complaint on dated Aug 04, 2009 ( Complaint No- GUR[protected] ). The technician attend the complaint of dated Aug 08, 2009. He just rectify the lighting problem but nothing was done for cooling. He told that it is a double door refrigerator and it will cool in same manner (Double door Refrigretors having slow cooling) and he will visit it agin on next day. But that person didn't come back till now. Then I regularly registered my complaints on dayed Aug 11, 2009 (GUR[protected]), Aug 19, 2009 (GUR[protected]), Aug 24, 2009 (GUR[protected] and Sep 01, 2009 (GUR[protected]). Beyond these complaints I informed to the service center that nobody is attending the complaint. The second visit of the technician was on dated Aug 27, 2009. He told that the problem attended by the Ist technician was not proper and the Light is in direct mode. So he rectified the lighting problem agian. Again nothing was done for cooling again. After this visit the problem increased. Water started coming from the bottom of refregerator and the lower door is not closing completly. The previous problem was ice fridging problem but now it is not cooling the water in lower portion.
    I have fed up from the service (Not given) of this company. Please guide me how to give this Refrigretor (So called) back to the company or dealer. How can I bear it for a long time.

    Please do as needful and take some necessary action.

    videocon double door fridge — door not closing and cooling problem

    We have purchased a double ddor fridge this year in Feb 08. it has many problems. we want to replace the fridge with a new one.please look into the matter. and do the need ful at the earliest.

      Videocon — DRAINAGE

      I HAD PURCHSED FULLY AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE FROM SHUSHIL ELECTRICALS GHAZIABAD THREE YEARS BEFORE. PRESENTLY MY WASHING MACHINE DRANAGE SYSTEM WORKING NOT PROPERLY. I HAD LODGED COMPLAIN WITH VIDEOCON CALL CENTRE AT GHAZIABAD. THEY SEND THERE ENGINNER FOR REPAIRING.ENGINEER REPAIRED THE WASHING MACHINE WITH CHANGE OF 2 PARTS AND GET 1700/- FOR PARTS AND HIS VISIT CHARGE, BECAUSE MY MACHINE IS OUT OF WARRANTY. NOW I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT MY WASHING MACHINE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, SIMILARLY I REGULARLY FOLLOWUP FOR FINISHING THE JOB BUT NO PERSON TAKING ANY ACTION AGAINST OUR REGULAR REQUEST.         This is for your kind attention that we made regular complains against videocon Air Conditioners for our 3 Nos videocon Air Conditioners no action has been taken against videocon Air Conditioners, even we had a talk with customer care executive Mr. Amit and his senior Ms. Renuka, on dated 28/08/2009, the complain no is Del-[protected]/1016/1017 but they didn't feel to respond back

        Kindly revert back to us as soon as possible


        We are using many Videocon Air Conditioners and out of which 2 are not working properly. the 1st of them is Compressor problem and 2nd is water leakage in this regard we made 1st complain to videocom costumer care unit on dated 14/07/2009 in the name of Wahid having address Hammurabi & Solomon, A-220, Defence Colony, New Delhi-110024 Mob No # [protected] the complain no is DEL [protected] the engineer came on dated 15/07/2008 and he changed the capacitor. The charge for capacitor was Rs.600 and 344 for water leakage with service charges but the water leakage problem is still same the 2nd problem is compressor problem. The engineer told us about 2nd problem that compressor need to be Change. So we have paid him Rs. 2500/ on dated 11/08/2009 to the authorised dealer which having Name & address is Ruchika Services, 101 A, Hari Nagar Ashram, New Delhi-110014, Phone No#[protected]/97, Mob No: [protected], [protected], Bill No: 023, Dated -11/08/2009. After that we call to costumer care & Ruchika services number allot but they never shurout the problem yet. We are fed up of Videocon service centre responsiveness so we need to write here for do the need full as early as possible.

          Air Conditoner's Complaint Forum


          Dear Sir,

          I had purchased one Split A.C. of 1.50 Tonne through your Dealer M/s. Sangam Marketing, Bhilwara (Rajasthan) vide your Direct Invoice No. 00043 dtd.[protected] in my Propreitorship Firm name, M/s. Mahabhoot Texitles.

          Please note that the same Air Conditioner is not working properly since its installation and for the last two years I have lodged several complaint to your Dealer - Mr. GiriRaj ji at Bhilwara for repairing of the same. Presently, the same is not at all working since last 6 months. Your Dealer have not bothered even to send any person to look after the non working equipment. Every time, I called him over phone, he just assured me of sending his man in a day or two. This is happening for the last 6 months. This summer, the same A.C. have not worked at all.

          I, at last, informed other Sevice Centre of the same and been informed by them, that Compressor the same Unit is failed and it need to be changed.

          I request your goodself to kindly look into the matter urgently and appoint some other Dealer in the region of Bhilwara (Rajasthan.)

            Sir,
            I bought TV from Videocon and the LOT of the TV became defective as a result the same was rectified by their service engineers thrice out of which the first one only was free of cost as the TV was under warranty. However the last time the LOT got defective was in Apr 2009 and the same was rectified by the seervice engineer with charges. This is to mention that the service engineer repaired the TV on 16 Apr 09 and on 17 Apr 09 the same problem persisted. however the TV was shifted to Bhubaneswar for my old parents who are presently residing there. The service engineers came and not repired the TV as they are again charging for the same defects. Thereby my TV is lying defective since then. The videocon ccustmer care has been contacted time and again but no results. Few of the complaint that I made are as given.[protected],[protected], BB19825002...etc. Request some justification as a sitizen of this country

                  My TV (Model Bazoomba) is not working since 18.08.09 and I lodged a complaint at your Service centre at Sigra, Varanasi. My complaint number is H-20000.

                  Despite the fact that I contacted them several times they have not yet sent the service engineer to repair my TV. If this is the situation of the service I receive from videocon, then I have to think in future before purchasing any item of Videocon make. I would appreciate if you kindly inform your Sigra, Varanasi Service centre to look into the complaint and do the needful immediately.

                    videocon tv (slim trim ) — non working of tv

                    my tv was not working since 09.08.2008 and i had a warranty on the tv purchased for three years . i made a complaint to the call centre on phone no 39404040 and i was given a complaint number 9A [protected] and one tecgnician by name subramani came on 11.08.2008 and just told me to cahnge the battery of my remote without even looking at the tv . inspite of changing the battery the tv was not working, subsequently i contacted the bangalore office on no[protected] and they sent one tecnician by name dutta . he checked the tv and informed that some spare parts have to be replaced and he would come the next day . but even after a week he has not turned up and there is no proper response from your bangalore office .i request you to kindly look into the matter
                    I dont want to say that your service is very bad. Because after so many complaints your are not attending our complaints.

                      My Videocon refrigerator has been out of order since 26th June. Following which I called up their customer care department. The engineers came and asked for the compressor to be replaced and some other parts as well. The entire amount came to around 6500. However, the fridhe stopped functioning yet again in about a weeks time. Once more he engineers answered my complaint. They didn't charge me anything but brought the fridge back to woking condition. But the problem has been recurring again and again and again. The engineers after attending a couple of times have now stopped responsding. I have registered a complaint with the Videocon call centre 39404040 but it's been almost a week and they have done nothing about it inspite of my repeated follow ups.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I had purchased Refrigerator -Model No-S332 from Videocon [protected]@Vizag vide Bill No-193 dt30-04-09.

                      We are facing water leakage problems from the very first month onwards.
                      I am seriously having doubts on the inferioir quality of Refrigerator supplied by you

                      Given complaints several times- in May,June,July,August months,latest no-
                      {VAI[protected],dt25-9-09,9-10-09,15-10-09} regarding water leakage,

                      Your engineeer visited&says Thremostat to be replaced, but till date no replacement was done.

                      Videocon online complaint on Nov2'[protected]@ servicedelight.com was also done.

                      I would request you to arrange for replacemnt immediately,as our electricity bills had increased

                      last 4months due to the faulty condition of your product.

                      Anticipating your favourable reply& immedite action in this regard.

                        I want to inform u that I bought my refrigerator on 18/05/09, and from last 2 months its light is not working despite of so many telephonic requests and by complaining to service center i m getting only assurance but no service, from last 10 days there is no cooling again i made a complain on 13/8/09 to the shop i bought my refrigerator again i m getting assurance only.
                        Now only due to there such behavior i have been compelled to complain u people, wether ur company has any resposibilties for there customers or You have just kept target for selling products only . I had very bad experience can u help me in dealing with my problem? Can i look to u senior people who can reduce my tension & guilty for buying this product. With hope for service, Urs Sencerely

                          I have purchased a Kelvinator refrigerator model KHP21 in June, 2009. In the same month the lock of the same was damaged during normal operations. I registered a complain with Videocon Customer Care (Complain no. AHM[protected]) since Kelvinator is a brand owned by Videocon group. After a dozen mail correspondences and phone calls, i was assured that the local service engineer will get in touch with me. But nobody has bothered to call back leave alone fixing the problem. Evry time thay are contacted the answer is "the part is unavailable and will be replaced soon". This has been going on since last two months. This is the quality of Videocons aftersales services atleast in my area.

                            I registered one complain on 15/08/2009 for repairment of my videocon AC which I bought 2 months back.White fume is coming out of the AC.But no one came to my house for repairing.While I tried to ask the same to the customer care people on 20/08/2009, they informed me that the ticket is closed because the person found my room locked several times and I have to raise one new request.But inspite of telling them to call me before coming, they never did that.Now also when I raised one new request and calling their service center number they are behaving badly and even not picking up teh phone.
                            Please do the needful as I am facing harassment.

                            i buy VIDEOCON one ton split unit a.c. on 09/05/2009 from BANSAL SALES CORPORATION.after three months i face the problem of water leakage from in indoor unit.i register my complaint on 18/08/2009 & the complaint no. is LUD[protected] .the company engineer come on 21/08/2009.he attend the complaint .but on the other day on 22/08/2009 the problem is again the water leakage start. i register my complaint on tollfree no.this time miss sweeta attend my phone her attitude is very rude.i ask her the local service center no.but she denied.I am sorry to say that VIDEOCON's service is very poor & Engg. are not able to attend the complaint.

                              We purchase TV set Videocon Bazuba sr. no.[protected] in year 2004. within one month colour problem start in TV set. it not work properly, we lodge our complaint with customer care service service engineer provide sevice free of cost he tell me mother board is not properly work due the problem of faulty mother board he suggest change mother board. agianst problem start complaint no.[protected] dtd. 31/08/2007. u r service engineer charged Rs.600. see following sequence of complaints.

                              7) NAG - [protected] dtd 19/08/2009

                              I have raised compliant in various time but solution provided by u r end is temporary. I found extremely mismanaged customer care servcie. I bought videocon because its a indian made, I belive Videocon since last 15 year but last 3 to 4 year experience i am satisfied u r services. take immediate action against my complaint.

                                we had purchased from ' NEXT" RETAIL SHOP TILAK NAGAR< AB ROAD- DEWAS 452003. MADHYAPRADESH CTV hyndai- 29" on 10.08.2009. Product code no is [protected]. for 7.200.00. now the problem is that the tv remote is not working and neither the channels can be shifted according to our choice. we been calling the next show room but nobody is ready to help us neither are ther giving number of their customer service. none of the numbers available online are working. The people at Next showroom are just refusing to take our calls. we request you to repair the set at the earliest.

                                  Hi,

                                  I bought Videocon Washing Machine in February 2009, In March 2009, the buttons/knobs were not working. Since that time, I have made several complaints to the customer care of Videocon, two persons came from there...and just said they would replace those in 3 days, but as of now, nobody has taken care of it. I have been making several calls, but nobody is coming to solve my problem. It has been almost 5 months over since we made our first complaint. We are really suffering from it. We spent around Rs. 7200 on this product, but company is really not respondilng to us. I request you to please resolve this issue for us.

                                    I called videocon at phone:39404040 and lodged my complaint on 26th July 2009. Complaint was registered with No.DEL [protected]. As promised an Engineer called on us within 2/3 days. He informed that Pulsator was defective and will be replaced by them in a couple of days. He came after a few days and took away the defective pulsator informing that new pulsator has been requisitioned and will be replaced in a few days. Till then I have made more than a dozen complaints but every time received the same reply that pulsator is awaited. In between I was given another complaint no.DEL [protected]. I do not know how much more time it will take to set the machine in working order. Please do something immediately.

                                      Complaint No. DEL [protected] dt. 21.07.09 reg. videocon referigerator Model C30 ltr and also complaint No. DEL [protected] dt. 28.07.09 registered witht he Videocon Service Centre

                                      I have videocon referigerator c30 (300 ltr) and had been working to my satisfaction. Recently, it stopped working and I lodged a complaint for the same on 21.07.09. An engineer attended to the complaint on 22.07.09 and the compressor was changed & gas refilled on 23.07.09 on payment of Rs 4000/- vide cash memo No. 1963 dt. 23.07.09 of Videocon, Naharpur, Delhi. The referigerator stopped working just after four days.

                                      On 28.07.09, a complaint was again got registered with the service call centre. An engineer visited on 29.07.09 and told that the compressor is not working. He was requested to get the fault rectified as the compressor, as per cash receipt above mentioned, was under guarantee for one year and a three months guarantee was also provided for the refilled gas.

                                      Thereafter, the trauma began. We have been making calls repeatedly to the service centre and also to the videocon office. Even a personal visit on 01.08.2009 from my residence at Rohini to Videocon office at Okhla has been made by husband, Shri H.C. Grover who is a senior citizen, only to get fake assurance by one Ms Ritu that the fault shall be rectified latest by 8th August. On 9th August also, I called her up to remind about the promise so made and also got to speak to Shri Subhash, Area Sales Manger (# [protected]). Shri Subhash assured that the problem will be sorted out by the evening i.e. 9th August evening.

                                      Today is 13th August. I probably have exhausted all the channels at Videocon. Wherever I call, my phone is not picked. When I called from a new telphone number, my phone was banged the moment I was recognised. The only course I am open to now, is to move to the Consumer Forum and media. It seems that the authorities at Videocon (at all levels) have failed to realize how difficult it is to remain without a referigerator in this scorching weather. The money has been paid by us but service to my satisfaction is not being provided by Videocon. Kindly register my complaint.
