I purchased a Videocon TV in October 2008 from Vijay Sales, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. In the month of July 08 ( within the Warranty Period) faced some techinical problem with the TV with sound control and picture blurring. A Service person named Sanotsh attended the problem but he was not able to solve the problem. He assured that he would forward my case to another service person. After week days he again attened the case but he was not able to do anything. Then after another person name- Sanjay Mobile No-[protected] whos was suppose to be a senior technician came home & after checking said he had to replace some part and the part he had bought was not proper so again he assured he wuold get back u once he got this kit from the ware house. After few days he came with some part but he replied that this also did not solve the problem He again assured me that he would replace the television now and and that my case will forward to HO for replacement. It has been 15 days to that and i have not yet got any revert from them. The service centre here is based out of Vashi, Mumbai and handled by Umesh Mobile # [protected] with whom i have spokne time and again. The region is handled by Atul Mobile # [protected]. On speaking to him even, all i get is assurance. What to do ? my moblie # [protected]
i havv purchase vidiocon t.v.but sound is not coming . i have also inform agra service center thay do not attend my complain

    SIR,
    I HAD PURCHASED A VIDEOCON INTEGRA LCD-27 ON 23 MARCH 2008, WHICH IS EXACTLY AROUND THREE MONTHS BACK THAT IS NOT QUIET LONG,
    FEW DAYS BACK MY TV STARTED BEHAVING VERY DIFFRENTLY ON SWITCHING IT ON INSTEAD OF PITURE OR COLOUR THERE COMES MANY BLURRED LINES AND EVEN AFTER SWITCHING IT OFF AND AGAIN SWITCHING ON IT DOESNT WORK, SO I THOUGHT OF COMPLAING, TO THT COMPLAIN THEY SENT SOME TECHNICIAN THT TOOK MORE THAN 3 TO 5 HRS ND OPEN THE TV DO SOME DAMMN R&D AND FINALLY WITH ZERO RESULT, THIS COUNTINUED TO HAPPEN LIKE MORE THAN 3TO4 TIMES WITH NO RESULT.SO I THOUGHT OF TALKING WITH SOME SENIOR OFFICIALS OF THEM BUT AT FIRST THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER THAN AFTER REPEATED CALLING THEY TOLD WE'LL REPLACE YOUR LCD BUT TILL TODAY THAT IS 19TH AUGUST 2008 THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT DONE, SO IF VIDEOCON OFFICIALS ARE LISTENING PLEASE DO THINK OF MY PROBLEM CAUSE IM TOTALLY PISSED OF AND IM SURE IF IN FEW DAYS NO ACTION IS TAKEN I'LL REGISTER A COMPLAIN IN CONSUMER COURT AS NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE IS LEFT.
    I HOPE THAT 'CB' WILL HELP ME IN GETTING MY PROBLEM SOLVED.
    AND I THANK CB THAT THEY HAVE OPENED A GOOD PLATFORM WHERE CHEATED CONSUMERS CAN REGISTER THEIR COMPLAINS AND MISERY.

    I agree with what is mentioned in the complaint. I've bought Videocon Integra Classic 32 and experienced a hell lot of problems in it. Initially the remote stopped working just withing a week of purchase. I got a replacement for the same. The new remote again stopped working.. Then they gave me a master remote.. thank god its working fine now. Then suddenly my I started getting problem in connecting my DVD player to the LCD. The picture displayed was B/W. I again called the customer service and got it rectified. Soon after some days, I got a bigger problem. The LCD stopped working.. It was not starting at all. I called the customer service again and found that the board was faulty. The technician opened my TV and took the board for replacement. It took more than a month for them to replace the board. And now.. a biggest problem. I've got a line in display. (Display Cut). I called the customer service number and got the technician check out my LCD. As per them the pannel is faulty and the cost of the panel is almost same as the TV. This all happened within a year of purcahse of this LCD.

    I would not recomment anyone to buy any videocon product.
    I have purchased a Videocon Integra LCD-32 0n 25 march 2008 & from the 5th month onwards of its purchase, it starts giving me headache as it got blank screen again & again. I made 1st complaint in feb 2009, When my LCD was under warranty, Videocon engineer came & asked me to wait for 20 days for the replacement of that part bcoz o[censored]navailablity of that part on the date.But no response was received even after the completion of 1 month. then I made a second complaint in April & told Customer care about the last complaint status, but again no response from videocon side. Then I made the 3rd complaint few days back in may, Now Videocon Executive come & ask me to give 3000 rs for the replacement even after telling him the whole thing.


    Please do the needful.
    I Also Agree what is mentioned in the complaint. I've bought Videocon Integra LCD-32 in 2008 & from the 8th month onwards of its purchase, it starts giving me headache as it got Totally Black Blank screen again & again n now it's not Getting On. I made a complaint Three days back n as of now no one has contacted me .

    I Also would not Recommend anyone to buy any Videocon Product. The Worst Product I've ever used VIDEOCON.

    Re- Integra 32 LCD T.V.


    Dear Sir,
    We had purchased above said T.V. from M/S Next Thane vid their invoice No-09584 Dated:07/06/2009. This T.V. was delivered at our residence on 15/06/2009.
    This T.V. started showing PANNEL problem on 1st week of Augest.
    We lodged a complaint with Videocon Customer Care for almost 30 times under refence No THA[protected]/THA[protected]/THA[protected].
    Two service Engineers came to our residence during the period. Both of the same opinion that if it is not repairable replacement will be made. Mr. Brindesh came to my home for almost 4times but he is enable to sort out the problem, Then i inssist your service Engineer to replace whole pannel, But he is saying that the pannel is not easily available. He is alos saying this problem will occured to every brand LCD.but my T.V. is hardly 2months old. if this problem is occured after 2 yerars then it is ok.
    We like to bring to your notice that if within 7 days if your service Engineer enable to sort our my problem then I have to come to the conclusion that this T.V. cannot be repaired but has to be replaced. We were also not agreeing to accept repaired T.V. because we had hardly used our new T.V
    We like to bring to your notice that if within 2days my problem is not sortout then i have no option but to go to consumer court because we have already suffered for 45 days.
    We hope you will take necessary measures to solve this problem.

    Note :- I WANT ORIGNAL PANNEL.

    I brought the Videocon LCD TV and within 9 months it stopped working when I called the customer care number they are giving me the run around. Even after having the warranty card they are not replacing the defaulted part.

    Its the biggest mistake that I have brought a Videocon TV. Personal Advise please please please do not buy a Videocon LCD tv.. Pay a little extra and go for a good tv like Samsung or somthing.

    Atlest you wont have the pain I'm going through

      Dear Sirs,
      I purchased a 25inch CTV of model no: 6410 R and of serial no: 100059 on[protected]. About 3 weeks back, it went completely dead suddenly, without any apparent reason, the stand-bye light glowing. The unit was repaired by your authorized service centre, Smart Service, Trichur and brought back on[protected] for re-use. An amount of Rs 537/= was paid by me vide their job no: 24166 on the same day itself, for which they had issued a receipt. But, immediately after the departure of the Technician, the unit became dead again without any apparent reason and the matter was reported to the Technician over mobile phone. He had promised to come again for check-up as early as possible. The unit was in the stand-bye mode as usual. But after a period of about 2 hours we found that, to our utter astonishment, smoke was coming out of the unit and heard cracking sounds of broken parts inside it. The top portion of the wooden cabinet has started burning then and the unit was disconnected immediately and brought outside with great difficulty. A small quantity of water was splashed on the unit to avoid further damage. This was immediately conveyed to the Technician, who is engaged with some other works somewhere near to this place. He inspected the unit after some time and took it for repairs on the same day evening itself. When I enquired several times during the past 6 weeks about the progress of repair work, they had informed that the matter has been brought to the notice of the company and are expecting the necessary spare parts. But, on enquiry to-day, they have informed that an amount of about Rs 3, 000/= is to be paid by me as repair charges. The unit was repaired by your authorized service centre and if the unit caught fire immediately after repairs, it is obviously due to some faulty parts of the unit or faulty repairs of your service agents. The consumer is not responsible for it and hence it is not proper on the part of a reputed organization like yours to penalize the consumer for the fault of the unit or repair. In fact, you have already agreed this aspect of the problem in principle and hence, might have sent the required spare parts. I would request you to kindly look into this matter immediately and instruct your service agent not to charge me as I am not responsible for what happened.

      Bazooka 25 inch tv — Regarding Service

      Hi...My tv is not working for the last 25 days and haven't yet get it repaired.Your service personnel came and told me that the L.O.T of the set has gone and it is not available with them.i had enquired your service centre at calicut, Kerala and their response was not satisfactory.They are telling that the product is outdated and the company is not producing the same.Actually i want to purchase a 32 inch LCD tv after repairing it but now i feel that it will be better to purchase it from another company where good customer service is available..Hope you reply.

          We have purchased a videocon .5 ton Ac 2 months ago, and from the same time we have been chasing the dealer from we have purchased and also the customer service manager north from Videocon (Mr Rajesh Saini at +91 [protected]) for the remote of the Ac but till date the issue has not yet been resolved as per dealer this is the issue with videocon but after contacting videocon no one is reverting on the same. Now the customer service manager is also disconnecting the call...so please can anybody advice as to what can a consumer go for

          I HAVE PURCHASED A VIDEOCON 32 INCH INTEGRA LCD TV, now i regret having purchased nay product of videocon atleast till the time iam in cochin, since videocon has no direct service cntre in kochi, the attitude of the service centre, Ms Hometech is absolutely dismal. hte tv had recurrent problems of similar nature and every time it took 1 month to repair the tv. this time the tv stopped working on the 24 th july 2011, since then i have registered 3 complaints and still the tv isnt working, 3 days ago i landed the set at the service centre and still it hasnt been repaired. whats more irritating is that the service centre people dont even bother to pic up the call or call back, so iam totally lost and clue less as to what to do, can some one h me, concerend authorities please

            Dear All, I bought a Videocon washing machine and it stopped working the second month. They are saying it is having board complaint. My advice: Please dont buy any products from this company as their entire product range is substandard. Almost 90% of the products are having manufacturing defects.

              I purchased a videocon Refrigerator model DX 275 from spancer, secunderabad, on[protected], and it is not working properly since one month for which i m complaining daily to your service center on phone number[protected],[protected],[protected] and [protected] but your employees of your call centres not taking any action since last 15 days each time they tells like our person(technician) will visit your place today itself, but no body has came yet.


              Please do needful other wise i have only one option to go to consumer forum for the same.

                I had porches videocon window ac va 1022 on 5/03/08 at coolcorner 83 nagar nigamroad indore some days ago these ac deteriorated I have complaint cool corner but he has not repair in under warranty, so I have complaint to videocon service center [protected], com.no is 7p[protected], mail set to [protected]@tekcare.com, [protected]@videoconservice.com/ but yet no any result

                  Reg above I may inform you that I bought Split AC with Stablizer stamped Videocon from M/s Subhash Chand Ashok Kumar, Rai Market, Ambala Cantt in JULY 2005 for my wife’s Boutique vide Bill No 10419 Dt. 10/07/2005
                  After two month it started giving trouble I approached M/s Subhash Chand Ashok Kumar as per detail given below:-

                  1. In September 2005 when I made 1st complaint that the AC stopped working after 1 or two hours he said stablizer was not working properly and during even guarantee Period the dealer again charged Rs. 650/- and replaced it.
                  2. In July 2006 again it stopped working we approached the dealer again, who informed that Guarantee period is going to be expire after 1 month we con’t do anything after several telephonic and verbal complaints he said our Videocon engineer Mr Malkit will come and see the problem. Then Engineer checked AC and said due to shortage of Gas approximate 200 gm it is giving trouble and they got it repaired from Mr Suman a private repairer but the problem remained same (stops working after 1 or 2 hours). Then I directly approached Engineer he said there is some leakage in the Wall Unit, then he removed it in the knowledge of Dealer and got it repaired again but the problem remained same ( while fitting the repairer broke the outside body of Wall Unit.). Thereafter I approached Dealer several times but his behavior was very rude.
                  3. Now this year I got it cheked from other repairer he said its compressor is
                  Defective that is why it trips after 1 or 2 hours.

                  This experience with your dealer has left a very bad taste with us. This has resulted in a lot of mental agony and harassment to me and my family. This kind of deficiency in service from your dealer, only tarnishes the image of your company adversely.

                  Therefore, it is requested that your intervene in the matter parsonally to address my grievances and the loss suffered by me by getting the AC replaced with a new one. If early redressal of my complaint does not come forth, I will have no other option but to approach the appropriate forum including Consumer Court.

                    Sir,

                    I have bought this Videocon SS 1500W on 29th June 08. From the 1st day the colours of the TV are not coming properly. There is a greenish shade in the picture. One can easily see that. Also this colour shade is visible in the black and white picture. Also. there is a yellow colour patch in the left bottom of the screen and the picture stretches at the left side of the screen. So, one can easily see the wave on the screen in the moving picture on the left side. We have contacted the service centre various times. First, our complaint were not attended within the 24 Hrs and secondly they say that one can find this greenish picture in any of the videocon brand which is not the case. In every complaint their engineer came and said the picture is perfect and there is no defect. The complaint process is still going on.

                    Videocon — fault in television

                    This is to bring you kind attention ,that i have purchase a videocon model no-2101 television on 8 january 2010 from the time i have purchased it contain so many fault like color patch ,auto shut down etc. i have complaint so many times and they send there engineer for fixing the fault after few day same problem arises. i want that serious action will be taken against them.and i want this televison will be replaced or i want my money back.

                      LCD TV PURCHASED WITHIN WARRANTY HAS BEEN CONTINOUSLY GIVING PROBLEMS. LAST MONTH POWER SUPPLY WAS REPLACED AFTER LOT OF FOLLOW UP, NOW AFTER NEARLY A MONTH THE TV AGAIN STOPPED WORKING & THE TECHNICIAN DETECTED THAT AGAIN SOME PROBLEM WAS THERE. NEXT DAY HE CAME AGAIN SAYING THAT HE WAS DEPUTED TO CARRY OUT SOME SOLDERING INSIDE THE TV. AFTER PERFORMING THIS ALSO THE TV DID NOT START. SIR I HAVE SPENT NEARLY Rs.28000/= . I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY HELP ME IN GETTING THIS PRODUCT REPLACED.

                      I had Purchased Videocon LCD 27 integra from Kohinoor Vashi, New Mumbai on 26.7.2007. From the day one the LCD took atleast 10 seconds to get started, to which the technicians said that it is normal. Secondly we did not checked all the AV PORTS, VGA, SCART SVIDEO functions as they were not all used by us till today, only one port AV2 was being used by us for DVD, which was allright. Now when we got a settop box and connected to AV1 port, it was not working properly, and picture and sound quality was not as in AV2. As the warranty period of the product is over, the company is charging Rs.5000/- for replacement of motherboard to solve the problem, which may be there from the very first day, as we did not checked it initially. It is a big amount for our negligence as all the customers are not aware that if a product is purchased all its functions should be checked. Which is not possible for most customer. Therefore we are paying for our carelessness. Another problem which was pointed out to them on very first day, that of delay in starting which they said normal is now said by the same person that it is a problem of Power supply part of LCD. What kind of Sales and Service technique is used by VIDEOCON, please clarify and solve the problem. As I am never going to Purchase Videocon products in future and neither I am going to advice any one to purchase.

                      LCD TV — Supply of used TV

                      I made full payment to Big Bazaar, Highland Park, Kolkata on 15th July 2009 for an LG LCD TV (model No. 32LG60UR). They delivered a used TV on 16th July 2009, which was detected by the technician of LG and myself at the time of installation of the TV. It was immediately reported to Big Bazaar and they accepted their fault. However, since then they have been playing hide and seek with me. The used TV has not yet been replaced by a new one. I have lodged complaint with the Head Office and Eastern Zonal Office of Big Bazaar, but to no effect.

                      I would like to draw attention of Shri Kishore Biyani on this issue through your forum as no body from his company has disclosed his email address.

                      In response to my complaint to Shri Kishore Biyani, CEO Future Group and to his senoir colleagues in the Eastern Zone on 22nd July 2009, after verification of the complaint, Big Bazaar, Highland Park, Kolkata has replaced the used LCD TV by a new one on 24th July 2009.

                      I had Purchased Videocon LCD 27 integra from Next, Bangalore on 18.7.2007.

                      Now, we are facing some issue with picture quality. Brightness is too light and not able to adjust properly. I raised complaint regarding my issue.

                      There was no response from Videocon service center and they closed my call without responding to my complaint.

                      Again, I raised the complaint then one lazy person called me after 2 days and told me that they are charging 700/- for visiting charges.

                      I accepted to pay 700/- then the next day another lazy person visted my house to see my stupid/falthoo Videocon LCD 27 integra Tried V.

                      That fellow tried changing Birghtness and contrast for 3 minutes. Finally, he told me that motherboard (gene/genum/genus) gone and company is not producing the board. He also afered that he will arrange some second hand mother board for 6000/-.

                      Please tell me what I need to do?

                      It is my worst experience to purchase VIDEOCON INTEGRA 27. It always demands repair. The service provider is not interested for action. Last year power supply was replaced. Now the Motherboard has become out of order. Locally the motherboard is not available. Perhaps the time has arrived to the TV to dustbin. Today I have one BPL TV, which is being used by us since 1996.                         I have purchased a videocone window AC, Model No:VWS-52226
                        on 01.06.2008. But just after one month it is malfunctioning. Burning smell coming out from the AC and Blower is not working. now I am thinking that I have done a mistake by purchasing this brand. It is more painful for not attending the complain by the service people. IF only after one month this AC is giving trouble then what will happen after one or two year. it is very very sad thing that company is advirtising its product in big way but the quality and service is not at par with internationally reputed brand. Company may please be directed to improve in this regard and defective product may please be returned back just like NOKIA MOBILE BATTERY if the company wants to grow and sustain in business otherwise it will face the fate like LAMBY SCOOTER or FIAT CAR.                           dear sir,
                          we have a semi automatic videocon washing machine which we purchased only one year before. I made a complaint on 4.6.08. regarding this. The service person had come and inspected the machine.He advised to replace the spinning tub. he promised to return back within a week. But even after 3 weeks there was no communication from the customer care center. I made many reminder calls to them but it was waste. till today there was no reply from them. The machine is in the warranty period. Kindly guide my what i can do now. can i approach the consumer court for this.I decided not to buy any product from the videocon in the future. please reply. thank you.

                            we had bought a Videocon Washing Machine from your dealer Spencers (Great wholesale club ltd) from Visakhapatnam during 22-10-06 As it is still in warranty period. we got the call centre number for repairing services required for as on 19-06-08 i lodged a complaint my complaint no is( 2248) that my washine machine has stoppedworking, they come after 2 days and told the P C B BOARD has to be replaced but still till today after my continuos follow up there is no responce so plz look into this matter and consider as an urgent .

                              we purchased videocon ctv 14 inch tv from kohinoor 182, haji habib bldg, dadar (e), mumbai -14 on 4th january 2008.after few days it was not working properly we complained about it to kohinoor they have send their engineer thrice but no chance the same problem continued .the engineer took the mother board of the tv set and said he would replace the same but he did not replace it.Then they told we will replace the tv .since april they are telling us that we will replace it but till date(9july) they have not replaced it .we byed it for our entertainment but we feel our buying was worthless.kindly help us to solve the problem and oblidge

                                I have purchased a videocon AC model no. VA120DXI on 3rd july 05 from Gupta Air Conditioner Co. Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. I m not satisfied with its cooling since I have purchased it. I complaint about it to the dealer in july 05 & asked to replace it, they said we cant replace it, u should complain to Videocon Customer Care Centre, person from service centre attende but couldn’t locate the problem & said it is ok. After that in next summer on 8-04-06 I loged a complaint, person from Ritu electricals, the authrised videocon service centre attended on 11-04-08 & said there is gas leaking, so gas filling is required to be done & taken Ac with them & returned it to us on 21-04-06. Again I was not satisfied with its cooling, some how managed to continue with it. Next yr again I complaint about the same & on 23-05-07 person from service centre came & told me the problem of gas leakage again & charged Rs 1800 for gas charging. This time they returned AC on 24-05-07, but again I was not satisfied with its cooling after use, but fed up for complaining again & again. This yr I decided not to use it because every yr I have to pay for gas charging & no satisfactory cooling, so it cost more money wise as well as mentally. But in june this yr again I thought if I had it, I should use it. So when I started it, it started throwing ice after half an hour of its start. I complaint about it to Ritu Electricals, they said now they have stopped servicing videocon AC & they refused to give no of new service centre. Somehow I managed to find customer care no. & complaint about it on 26-06-08 & complaint no is 00362, they said they will send person next morning, but no one reached. Then again I gave a reminder call on 27-06-08 and was told their person will reach to u in afternoon & repair it on ur place only, but no one reached till today.
                                I’ m fed up with this AC & services provided by Customer Care Centres of the Videocon Ltd. & don’t know what to do with this AC. God knows what is the experience of other customers. There are two more AC’s at my residence and there is no problem with these except the VIDEOCON AC. I would like to dump it in the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the company as show piece if allowed.

                                  I had purchased a Washing machine model No.cbs 6000, Machine No. 10763 from SAR ELECTRONICES, Mathura vide bill No. 5023 dated 24.08.2007.
                                  After some day i found above machine is leakage thereafter i complain to service centre and they try 3 to 4 times but again leakage the machine. i am very helpless for above i was go to your service centre three times and after ten months problem is same in machine and as per discuss with service centre incharge he told your machine should be change, but i am waiting last one month no any response from your service centre and now, i cant understand I purchase a machine or a tension.

                                  i am helpless the service centre authority is harasing they are not repair the manchin nor change it.

                                      My husband and I had bought a Videocon A/C model no. VASG 123 Serial no. [protected] on 12/05/07 from Next Showroom, Humayun Nagar, Hyderabad.

                                      The A/c was not working and we registered a complaint on the 11th of April, 2008 .The complaint number is [protected]. The complaint was registered in my husband's name Dr. Santosh Moses.After repeated calls and 2 visits by 2 different service personnel from your side who told us that the PCB is faulty, finally on 07/05/08, one of the technicians from Tekcare India Pvt Ltd, took the PCB from us saying he will get a replacement for the same. Tilll now it has not reached us. Repeated calls to Tekcare either result in our calls not being picked up or being told that the PCB will reach us in 2 days, or 1 week or so on and so forth. But till now the elusive d-day has not arrived!

                                      I again called up the call centre on 03/06/08 hoping that they would connect me to someone higher up but was told that there was no-one higher up whom I can talk to there and that they'd take a fresh SR. The SR number is 8C[protected]. I was told that the issue would be resolved in 24 hours but again there has been no action.

                                      Today again I called up the call center to check the status only to be told again that someone will attend tomorrow. When asked to speak to someone higher up i get the same parrot response "No ma'am there's noone here and the only route for resolving the issue is the customer care route"

                                      It is extremely frustrating that a complaint lodged nearly 2 months ago is not yet resolved. The poor response by the call centre compounds to this. I really dont see the point of having an A/C at home that has not worked through the entire peak summer.

                                      I'm not sure again if this mail is being read by anyone who can do anything about the situation but would like to know what should be my next course of action.

                                      Again on 12/5/08 water is leaking from AC . we have informed. But our problem was not solved.

                                      This gives BAD REPUTATION TO YOUR ORGANISATION.
                                      WHY IT IS HAPPENING FREQUENTLY WITH NEW EQUIPMENT.

                                      Right now we have a Complain in one AC of Not Cooling from Last 20 days, but as usual their Engineer come to just look the AC twice. Yet the problem is unresolved. Every time they said today or tommorow we come with spares but still no reaction.

                                      We bought a videocon A.C. on June 13th, it went really good for 1 complete month but in the month of July, suddenly a kind of burning smell started from it. We called up the customer care no. written on the A.C. itself. One of her reps sent a technician at our place. He changed the motor in it as according to him it got bad. On the very next day the same burning smell started. We called the customer care again and again one of her reps fixed a technician and now we are waiting for the technician, he has not reached us yet, dont kno he is coming on foot from outside India or somewhere. We called up the customer care again on the past tuesday, they picked up the phone, we explained the issue, asked for the supervisor to speak to us, he put the call on hold but suddenly it got disconnected. Again we tried to call them for 2 times, it gets picked and gets disconnected without any response.

                                      With this one can easily understand how efficient there customer service is.

                                      Now after facing all this I am going to consumer court as we have got no other option to select.
                                      And also I would suggest everyone to NOT to buy the any videocon appliances

                                      This is to bring to your notice that we purchased a split AC 1 Ton on 2nd May 2010 from the Next shop in Sector 18, Noida. Within two month it stopped working from 26th June and in the panel it shows “E 6”.
                                      Since then we have been making numerous complains and your engineers have made two visits; at one time we were informed that there is some problem with the ‘Gas’ and some work was done on that but with not of much relief. Later your engineers [Hi-Tech Services - Noida] came and informed that there is some problem with the mother board and IC [something technical] and they opened the machine [which still lying in the same state] and took few components from the AC on 10th July 2010.
                                      We have been calling the centre and engineer also informing that we have a 3+ month old child who has been suffering due the non working of AC and also due to your deficiency of service. The last call we made was on 31st July to Mr. CP Singh [from videocon] at [protected], when we were again befooled with same assurance as to today’s date, i.e. 2nd August 2010.
                                      Somehow we fail to understand the lack of seriousness on our part and somehow also failed to make you all understand the suffering through which my infant child is going through. The way I have been treated by the Customer Care and Service department - hopefully would never dare to buy any Videocon product. Whereas otherwise I was a loyal Videocon customer - and had earlier bought my fridge replacing my old [Godrej - which lasted over 20 years] 8 months ago.
                                      I request to make immediate arrangements for the same as the purpose for which we had bought the AC seems to be unfulfilled and my whole family and esp the Child is suffered a lot during the worst summers.

                                      I had bought a Videocon A/C model no. 5233 Chassis no. 4084363, 4093714 on 26/03/2009 and bill no is 13038 from Arvind Electrical & electronics, Ambala city, Haryana.

                                      The A/c was not working and we registered a complaint on the 18th of May, 2012 .The complaint number is kar[protected]. The complaint was registered .After repeated calls; single visit had been made by your service personnel from your side who told us that the compressor is faulty. They told us that after 2 days your complaint was resolved but nothing is to be done till date. Finally on 25/05/12, we called in service center and registered another complaint with complaint no. kar [protected]. From 26/05/12 continuously we called to technician and your area sales executive who are sitting at ambala city. We called to Mr. Harmeet at mob. No. [protected], to Mr. Pawan (area sales executive) on mob. No [protected] and Mr. Harbans mob. No. is [protected] till date. They didn’t reply on single call and when ever they pick the phone they said tomorrow we sought out your problem. But that tomorrow never comes and after so many days nothing has to be happened to our complaint. They promised us that they replaced the faulty part. Now when ever we called them they abuse us and always use vulgar thing to make harass to us. Till now it has not reached us. Repeated calls to your service center either result in our calls not being picked up or being told that the part will change in 2 days, or 1 week or so on and so forth. But till now the elusive d-day has not arrived!

                                      I visited to your service center at ambala city on june1, 2012 to meet with Mr. Pawan and at that time he promised that tomorrow on june2, 2012 they will change the part. But when we call today they give us excuse that they come by evening but now they don’t pick our phone call.

                                      Today again I called up the call center to check the status only to be told again that someone will attend tomorrow. When asked to speak to someone higher up i get the same parrot response "No sir there's no one here and the only route for resolving the issue is the customer care route"

                                      It is extremely frustrating that a complaint lodged nearly 15 days ago is not yet resolved. The poor response by the call center compounds to this. I really don’t see the point of having an A/C at shop that has not worked through the entire peak summer.

                                      I'm not sure again if this mail is being read by anyone who can do anything about the situation but would like to know what should be my next course of action.

                                      We had purchased one Videocon AC from M/s Sarna Electricals.
                                      Right from the beginning AC is defective.Neither it provides Cooling
                                      in Summers nor Warmth in Winters.
                                      We purchased the AC in Aug 2010.
                                      Now the warranty period is over but during the warranty period AC was
                                      faulty as it did not provide cooling.
                                      We had complained regarding this to the local dealer M/s Sarna
                                      Electricals first where our complaint was not registered and the
                                      dealer did not entertain us and asked to call the Videocon Person.
                                      Then we lodged a complaint to Videocon Customer Care after that Mr
                                      Manoj Service Engineer of Videocon approached us and after examining
                                      the AC he assured to correct the fault within warranty period.
                                      But after regular follow up he didn't turn up and within this time the
                                      warranty period was over.
                                      After some days we again approached Mr Manoj then he told us that
                                      there is a problem in AC Gas and received Rs 1500 without any receipt
                                      on account of correcting the fault.
                                      Now after so many trouble the matter is still pending as AC is still faulty.
                                      Kindly look into the matter at the earliest and resolve the issue
                                      otherwise we will have to go for Consumer Court.

                                      This is to bring to your notice that we purchased a split AC 1 Ton on 07.05.2006 from Griha Vaibhava Marketing (P) Ltd., Jayanagar Bangalore.a. Within two month it stopped working due to monkey menace in our apartments. Since the outdoor unit was installed in our 2nd floor window top, the outdoor unit was not accessible . Hence I was not able to get the unit in working condition as no one was having roof ladder even when I suggested that additional cost will be borne by me . After some 3 years I caught hold of the videcon technician who came and informed that gas is not there and filled the gas and put back the unit in working condition in the same place

                                      As rains started after that the unit was not put into operation. As the summer was reaching its peak a fortnight back, I wanted to run the unit. The unit was working but there was no chilling. Hence I made a complaint to videocon vide complaint No. BAN [protected] and after terrible follow up the technicians from M/s. Classic airconditioning and electricals (sole franchaisees for videocon in bangalore... I believe) turned up and I requested the people to shift the outdoor unit from the window top to ground floor for easy accessibility.

                                      On Monday (05.05.2014) their installation team from their company came and told that the shifting requires extra copper wires and gas filling and the expenditure may come around 12, 000 bugs for which I agreed. The work was completed on 06.06.2014 and the S code was given to them in the good faith that the unit will work fine and a whopping Rs. 14, 500.00 was paid in cash towards installation, copper wire, outdoor stand, reinstallation rent for rope ladder and gas filling.

                                      But on 6.5.14 the unit was run in the night when the temperature came down to 21 C and then started raising and reached the room temperature of 29 C. It was brought to the notice of the service engineers who came for inspection and informed that water might have seeped into the unit and the unit is beyond repair.

                                      The unit might have run for a total of 100 hrs from the day of purchase and now even after spending the amount the unit was not put into operation. Had it been informed that such a problem may arise we could have had an after thought and deferred the repair or disposed the unit off.

                                      Such is the company's product and so are the technicians. Hope some one of the organisation may see my mail and render justice to this unlucky human being

                                      This is in regard to an Air conditioner of your Esteemed brand i.e. “VIDEOCON”.

                                      I had purchased a 1.5 ton Split Air Conditioner on 28/04/2014 from NEXT RETAIL SHOP i.e. Electronic Store near my house. I had paid a handsome amount of Rs. 29, 500/- which included a stabilizer as well (Copy of the invoice enclosed). During the first month since purchase the A/c was working perfectly fine but post that it is merely working. After switching it on it works only for 5 minutes and then trips over. It gets back to life after a gap of atleast two hours but again works only for 5 minutes. Seeing this peculiar problem I was shocked and awed hence I gave a call to the customer care department of your company. Having heard my problem your engineer came upto my place and told me that there is some voltage issue and nothing is wrong with the A/c. He also asked me to contact Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. for resolution of the voltage issue. I took into consideration the advice of your engineer and called an official of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. who informed me that the voltage was within 170 to 190 V which is the perfect power received in my colony by every one. Hence the problem persisted.

                                      Getting disturbed and frustrated for past one month I approached the NEXT Retail Shop, from where I had purchased the A/c, for resolution of my problem. They asked me to registered with company again but seeing the response I received from your esteemed company I could not gather patience and trust to contact your customer care again, so, I requested the NEXT Retail Shop personnel’s to lodge a complaint at their own level. They lodged the complaint on 06/06/2014 vide complaint no. DEL[protected] for the issue faced by me. The response for the said complaint is still awaited. In the meanwhile I was advised by the NEXT Retail Shop personnel’s to get in touch with the stabilizer people (V-Guard) to get the same double checked. The officer of the stabilizer company paid a visit to my house and said that there is no problem with stabilizer but the A/c is consuming 15 amp. instead of 7.5 amp. He also advised me to get the A/c checked ASAP to avoid any harm to the A/c.

                                      Having heard all that I was scared and I gathered courage to contact a customer care department and make them aware about the said problem. On this I was provided with the number of your Area incharge on [protected] stated that the problem had already been resolved couple of weeks back. I wish to state that had the problem been resolved why would I contact your customer care department or run from post to pole in this scorching heat to get my A/c fixed. Now the said area manager has stopped entertaining my calls and does not even answer them anymore. I informed your customer care department about the behavior of the area incharge to which the provided me with number of Mr. Prateek Khanna i.e. [protected] my surprise the same thing happened again and Mr. Khanna also did not answer my calls.

                                      Now, having recited the above mail I conclude that your esteemed company pays no heat and importance to its customers after the product has been sold and simply tries to run away from its liabilities as if the company hasn’t sold anything. Still, I have contacted the customer care department today again as a last and final resort. I have been provided with the assurance that my problem will be answered to and resolved by end of the day. I am looking forward to the same failing which I shall be left with no other option than to initiate civil and criminal legal proceedings against your company which I don’t want to or I would like to get refund of the amount spent by me for the A/c. I feel cheated, betrayed and fooled by your company and I guess that have made the biggest mistake of my life by purchasing the pathetic and totally unworthy A/c of your company, I should have gone for some other well renowned brand. Nevertheless I am hoping that you will make good in resolving my query so that I gain back my lost trust on your company.
