I have been using a d2h connection a very long time. Recently after the new trai regulations have come into place, we had to select the channels on d2h website. I had selected some channels which i wanted on their website. I even paid for 11+1 months. The +1 being free. I have paid almost 11, 000/- rupees.
But my selection still hasn't been applied (It has been three weeks, as of writing this). I have called multiple times, sent hundreds of emails, but it hasn't helped. Whenever i talk to a customer service representative, they tell me that the server is currently offline and to call again after about 15 minutes. This response is unacceptable as they have been doing this for not one but three weeks.
Their app is also terrible with about 1-star average rating. Their website is now taking me to the login page if i click on the channel selection page. Because of this, i can neither change my selection nor add a selection. They had also randomly subscribed me to their overpriced active range of channels although their customer service representative resolved this issue.
Now i can have given up hopes and want a refund of my money that i put into my d2h account. But there too they are telling me that my account is prepaid and they cannot give me a refund.
So now my money is stuck with a company with ridiculous customer service, a useless website, an awful app and all in all a terrible experience.
Please help in the refund process.

    This is to inform you that, i am facing problem to relocate my connection (Delhi to jaipur), relocation team sending me same reply again and again without taking any effort and nobody wants to take accountability to close this ticket.
    I connect to customer care over phone(last 4-5 days) but they are saying relocation team will take care you have to send mail to them, after sending email along with documents no action reaction by relocation team, till this time nobody contact me in this regard.

      My customer id:- customer id :[protected] having issue with videocon d2h connection since 22nd april and no use by logging a case with service desk as they are closing case without resolving issue.[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]. Even share information with area spoc person and nodal officer but seems to be things are not working. Everytime service desk logging new case but core issue is unable to see any channel. Even free channels having issue. I have two connections during fixing issue for one connection they deactivated another connection which is not getting fix now.

        Have recharged for one year as per videocon d2h offer, company has reduced my package validity and changed channels without further information or intimation!! This is not fair, i make so many calls and emails to said company but they are giving only excuses also marked cc to trai but they are not responding, so please help.

        And on 27th April 2019 my connection is cut within 23 days of recharge without prior information and pack validity shorten to 23 days only without intimation.

        Now I don't want to continue with Videocon d2h kindly take away your dish and set top box and refund my money.

          As per NCF description '₹ 130 for first 75 pay channels + 25 mandatory Doordarshan channels' I have added 75 chanels in list. Si for what you are charging 295 rs?? I have chose basic NCF plan of 100 chanels then why NCF is 150??

            Can any one help me?
            I am really fed up with the service, as I have never got any solution on customer care call, every time they ask to call back after 30 minutes, and I myself including my family members, have called them more than 4 times in a single day.

              D2h is the biggest fraud and scamed company as they are taking money from their customers and commiting that they provide 30 days package but every time they giving only 20 days for thay same package.
              My d2h id is[protected] i did recharge of 425 including some hd channels . recharge was done on 2. Feb 2019 and i was expecting next recharge on 1 march but my all channels got diconnected by 26 march which means they given me only 25 days ( 6 days service got scamed) now calling them and mailing them many time but they did not reverted me.
              Then i did next recharge on 7 april and expecting nect recharge on 6 may but again they disconnected my package on 23 april 2019 ( which means 13 days service they did not provided.

              If they are their business like this then indias public will not leave them..
              Shame on you videocon you are such a pathatic company i have ever seen in my life

              I am diconnecting your service forever and never suggest your name to anyone.

                  This is to inform you that after multiple calls to your customer care no my query has not been solved yet. MY D2H recharge date is 21st April 2019 and i am not able to recharge because you are charging extra money. As per the new TRAI rule i have selected the various channels/bouquets and submitted my selection after reviewing the final amount inclusive of the NCF and GST which totals to Rupees 834 however i have received a message to recharge my account with rupees 1143 which is way more than i have selected. My D2H connection has been disconnected now.

                    Above account has been inactive since last 6 months. I am no more using above account since i purchased new hd box 6 months ago.

                    However i wrongly recharged above account for rs.500 on 22nd april 9.40 am. (See sms received below)

                    I spoke to your customer care executive who adviced me to send an email for refund. I am no more using above account and by no means inactive accounts should be recharged.

                    I request you to refund rs 500 back to my account per below recharge confirmation or transfer it to my active account #[protected] with registered mtd as # [protected]

                      1. I am aghast to note the non-response of videocon d2h to my 3 mails and several telephone calls. Today i further feel cheated that instead of new diamond pack (Rs 381 per month), my plan has been changed "without my consent" to platinum combo (Rs 531 per month). My d2h is not even connected for last 6 months since 20 november 2019.

                      2. My videocon d2h app on android is also not working since last 6 months. Also website does not allow me to log in. App does not send me otp for mobile login even to my registered mobile number [protected]. My login password is also changed by your company which i am not aware of.

                      3. Please take following actions urgently :-

                      (A) transfer me to trai minimum mandatory plan immediately with effect from 01 february 2019.

                      (B) deactivate my d2h connection from 20 november 2018 till 20 may 2019 as its kept packed up in store and in disuse. (I had requested this vide my email of 17 november 18, 14 february 19 and several phone calks to customer care).

                      (C) refund me the wrongly charged amount for platinum combo.

                      (D) refund me the wrongly charged amount for active connection from 20 november 2018 to 20 may 2019 (6 months).

                      (E) intimate me website login password. Activate my android app. Check why otp is not being delivered to my registered mobile number [protected] to allow mobile app login.

                      4. Please refer my trailing email sent at 0952 hours on 17 november 2018 which had requested for temporary deactivation of my videocon d2h connection with effect from 2300 hours on 19 november 2018, as i am on long vacations and have physically disconnected videocon d2h wef 19 november 2018 till about 20 may 2019 (6 months of disuse).

                          Videocon d2h is blatantly cheating it's customers. I have 2 Videocon ids. One one if I have one primary connection and 2 mirror connections. Since last two months I am requesting the Videocon d2h customer care to disconnect my mirror connections but they just don't. Whenever I call them they say to call back after half an hour as they are having problems logging into my customer ID. On the other customer id which I recharged a few days back has suddenly stopped transmission. It just logs into the d2h logo and nothing further. Customer care says I will have to pay for engineer visit and for stb box replacement. It is just cheating. They themselves block the viewing through their software and impose unnecessary replacement of stb box. Videocon I'd the worst crooks . I am switching 2 Tata sky no matter it going to cost me extra.

                            When ever I switch on my d2h it keep shows NO SIGNAL for over 10 minutes and then the picture comes on with almost 2 minutes of flickering. And sometimes the screen goes blank with only sound on.
                            I have changed to different HDMI cable and port as well. I need quick solution as the waiting time to switch on my d2h takes very long.

                              I am having a videocon d2h connection with customer id no. 80738609 activated new diamond pack from initial connection date onwards where you agreed to provide some specific channels.
                              It is observed that from 16/04/2019 onwards following chennels found disconnected such as zee bangla, star jalsa, colours bangla, akash bangla, sony8 and several other chennels without my knowledge and my consent. Even though i am having inr 1230/ in my videocon d2h prepaid account.
                              Despite several reminders through phone dated 18/04/2019 and 19/04/2019 neither you resolve the issue nor disconnect the services and return my money back. Since you were unable to provide me the agreed services. And without providing services you were charging on daily basis. Hence it is a illegal practice and cheating by videocon d2h.

                                  I have been calling to customer care and sending them email to remove all channels just to subscribe star, zee and sony.

                                  But they are insisting me to pay more through forcing me to take a-la-carte channels. I have sent many reminders and called to customer care they are not telling me how can i get my channels. On each call they tell me website name but they havent not provided options for my desired packages.

                                      Hi sir,

                                      I have a videocon d2h connection (Account id -) for last 5 years, for the last 4 months i am encounterring endless problems which is highly frustating. I just want to highlight a single and simple issue in this mail.

                                      Channel no 831 - says "invalid channel number" which is a popoular odiya new channel. Normally if you dont suscribe a channel then it would be different message. For this issue i am talking to your customer care executives over multiple calls for a period of 2 months.

                                      1. After 2 months your executive says it is a technical issue which a engineer has to visit.
                                      2. Customer has to pay for this
                                      2. Not able to reach out to videocon d2h custmer care
                                      3. Most of the time customer care phone nu is not reachable
                                      4. They are neither professional nor well trained, in between they cut the call

                                      6 years as a loyal customer now very sadly i have to say that the service is worst in the industry and if my problems are not getting resolved asap i would like to take this social media platforms with all proofs including phone recording.

                                        I purchased a philips led tv on 11/07/17 from mm marketing, lucknow with a warranty of 5 years. I am writing a complaint against videocon because philips had transferred tv business rights to videocon.in less than 4 months the tv broke down and i was told that the panel has to be replaced. The whole process took 20-30 days and eventually a consumer forum complaint like this one to speed up the process.

                                        Now again, in less than 2 years, the tv broke down again on 20-03-19. I registered a complaint luc[protected] on 23-03-19. I was told that this time the engineer who would come to check the tv would charge rs. 800 plus gst the total of which was rs 944. I objected to it as my tv is under warranty but had no option but to comply eventually or else my tv would just be lying in limbo. On 25-03-19 an engineer from v4u associates came to check and broke to us the news that this time the mother board of the tv has broken down and needs to be replaced. He promptly took the money but till now i am awaiting for the mother board replacement. I have called customer care numerous time but did not get prompt response. They keep stalling the resolution of my complaint, procrastinating, transferring the responsibility to someone else constantly, and transferring calls from this department to that. I also received the number of a mr danish from the customer care [protected]who is the in charge of lucknow region. He told me last friday on 12-04-19 that the mother board would be replaced on monday, i. E., 15-03-19 but of course it didn't happen or i wont be writing this complaint. His phone is off or he picks up and tells me he ll call me back but never does.

                                        I think the whole setup is just dilly dallying the issue at hand and i have completely lost my patience here. I mean i cannot dedicate my life towards my tv. I also hear news of videocon quitting its rights in philips as its under losses. I am of the view that in all this corporate hiatus, i as a consumer am suffering.

                                        I am of the view that a sound body of machine cannot really break down so often and that too in such magnitude. With the panel earlier and now the mother board, the whole tv set seems to be of defective nature. I have no trust in these brands anymore. Since i have purchased this tv i am just in a constant battle with this company.

                                        Also, i have repeatedly tried to contact the videocon dish tv to pause my services till my tv gets repaired but they too keep transferring my calls to someone else, or put me on hold and never get back. I had rs 400 remaining in my videocon dish tv account till 20-03-19 but as they didnt pause my services i am sure to have lost it. I called them many times asking to register my complaint but they never did. I have no complain number to give here for the dish tv complaint as they never registered it and never paused my services either. I mean i as an consumer feel cheated. There is this big setup of call centres, complaints registry which all seems to me a big farce.

                                        I don't need the mother board of my tv changed anymore. I need full refund for the tv plus service for which i was charged but never received it. I am sure it would break down in another 6 months and after my warranty gets over i would have a tough time. Its a defective piece of machinery as being noticed from the time i bought it. I am done dealing with videocon or philips or whoever. I as a consumer want peace and i cant fight this battle with this company anymore.
